I posted a very simple and straight-to-the-point IC. I am going to make final tweaks to my CS, post it, and then get an opening post out for Fang. I have one question though. Milkman, did you still want Fang to confront the Blade Master school or would you rather he confront another school to allow your character and Kitsune a chance to already be travelling? I can easily have him attack the unclaimed school of the dragon of the East.

I'll also post an introduction/setting post for you both since I'm assuming your characters are headed to the Iron Tortoise School. You'll get an idea of what sort of peril it's in and go from there.

@Holy Soldier Sounds good. Do you mind if Amaya and Mei-Xing are already at the school? I was thinking it might be interesting to have them meet up at the Crossroads then use a few timeskips to get them from there to the Iron Tortoise School. That might take awhile, though lol. This way they'd be well-placed for some action.

@FantasyChic Do you have a preference either way? My only misgiving about our characters already being at the school is it'll mean they've been traveling together for awhile. A relationship of some kind will have developed. Not a romantic one necessarily, but SOME kind of relationship. You don't travel into the frigid North with someone without either bonding with or hating that other person lol. Let me know your thoughts.

@LexiconAre you planning to write a collab? Because if you want them to already be at the school, then you'll have to wait for me to make that introductory post for it so you'll know the conditions, locations of things, who your enemies are, etc.

@Holy Soldier Oh definitely. If we wanted them to already be at the school then we'd wait for you to post all the necessary information. That's fine. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a collaboration, though. At any rate, yes, we'd wait for you then move forward. Once Fantasy Chic gives me her feedback, I'll let you know what we've decided.

@Holy Soldier It is better to attack a different school indeed. Kitsune however needs to give Dao a good reason to travel with him to confront the crime syndicate. All @CelticSoldier Needs to do is read the back story of my character for the obvious way to motivate Dao to tag along ;)

@Milkman I am, in fact, one step ahead of the game, and I have read everyones backstory. I'm assuming you refer to the rumours of an unbeatable Lynn swordsman? Easy. I shall travel to the sword school! Onwards!

@FantasyChic Personally, I want to have them meet then head out. We don't have to write about every step of their journey, but I was thinking we could do a few scenes. Maybe they could meet up with Dao and Kitsune if they're heading that way? Basically, it would be a series of travel vignettes. If you're down with that then I'm fine. Also, since I tend to post once or twice a week, we should probably restrict it to maybe like three or four posts. Just a thought.

I posted up the Iron Tortoise School scenario. If you all decide to get in on it, then so be it. If not, then you all are free to pursue other story lines in the meantime. I will eventually write a post for Fang showing how his attack on the Force Master School is going. That will also probably be the only thing I write for him until Chenguang is saved lol.

Right...100, dark chi infused, highly trained, Kung-fu Warriors. And the second best in the world. And an evil sorcerer. It's like Conan all over again. Because anything else just isn't cool enough. So, @Milkman, want to get in on this? We can meet up with @Lexicon and @FantasyChic on the way, if that's cool. I just don't want to be left out of this fight, because it looks like it's gonna be awesome! We don't have to, but I think it would be good to get together.

@FantasyChic Oh yeah, definitely. I meant like three to four little scenes that would play out between our characters before they get to the Iron Tortoise School. They meet up in the Crossroads, we can do a scene where they're just talking while they travel, maybe bandits attack them at some point and then we can do a post talking about how freaking cold it is then boom. We're at the school :)

@Holy Soldier A quick question: what do you mean when you say 'transitions shouldn't be an issue?' I'm just curious. Also, the Iron Tortoise School write-up was beautifully done. If you want me to do one for Weifong Temple when the time comes, let me know. I get the sense that you enjoyed coming up with all those challenges for our characters to face lol.

I should have Amaya's intro post up at some point early on next week. I have a post I need to finish for another RP, but then I'll be able to focus on this.

@LexiconThank you. Transitions as in writing. When one character goes from one place to another. As long as that movement is logical and not like:

Bob: *steps out of the bar*
Bob: *takes one step and is suddenly at the Iron Tortoise School. Starts fighting*

You see how bad that is? It's like he warped from one region to the next in two lines. I see poor transitions happen ALL the time and it's hideous.

Also yes, everyone can describe/design the settings for their own schools.
