Shangri-la exists on a huge abandoned mainframe Citadel once part a global pre-collapse corporation's hidden network. It’s real space coordinates lost and its net access only discovered by acident. (It is lost to everyone because it lay deep within the earth in one of the abandoned mines they owned that was then buried in one of the Mega quakes.)
It is a place where the strange can occur because the former systems ArchAngel having gone mad after suffering a data strike some 15 years ago in real time; but remember that translates into 150 years within the net world at least I think it does. Oh well I’ll leave it to you biologicals to figure out
