[OOC] The End Is Nigh (Accepting)

A parasite. A biological weapon gone wrong. A serum meant to increase soldiers' durability. Many claims have been made about this disease. There's only a couple of things we know. First, it ruins your mind. Makes you bat-shit crazy. Then, it destroys your body. Makes it look like you're the living dead. Guts swaying in the breeze, brain exposed to all of us to see. But they're not zombies. Still people, just...infected with a nasty disease. Anyone who was sixteen or older was infected. Parents turned against their kids, baying for their blood.

What did we do, you want to know? Well, we set up places we could stay. Washington Monument. White House. Capital Building. Lincoln Memorial. Tons of others. But we didn't get this far without sacrifice. Not all of us got lucky. We all saw someone we loved die that first year. Now, we're bringing the fight to the Grown-ups.

Major Groups:

The Birds

A small crew of ten highly trained hunters who attack the sickos surrounding settlements in exchange for resources. They don't have a set place in particular where they stay, but they do have a favored movie theater they barricaded, complete with stale popcorn and flat soda.

The White House Group

A group of 'snobs' (As accused by the Birds) that believe they can make things right and piece America back together. They're not really set on fighting, more like dressing up their soldiers like Secret Service agents, having them hold guns, and parade around.

Washington Monument Crew

A group of unorganized raiders who live in squalor and drunkenness. They set up soiled tents near the Washington Monument, fanning out. They occasionally raid other settlements for food.

Name: Savannah Jamison

Appearance:
Group: The Birds
Personality: She was always the shy girl with her head in a book. She had only a few friends because she had very different interests then other girls. She would much rather go hunting and camping then go to the mall. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty but does everything she can never to kill a human (zombies are different) unless she is in danger herself.
Weapons: for hand to hand killing, 9mm Baretta that her father gave her on her 12th birthday before the outbreak.
Bio: She was raised by both her parents until she was 10 when her mother died of cancer. She did her best to not get into trouble, but still broke a few laws here and there. She really started to act out after her mother died, but when the outbreak happened...she changed even more then ever before. She still has empathy for others but she is tired of being treated like a door mat. She joined The Birds to ensure her survival, even though she dreads getting any older.

Personality: Sharp-tongued, ruthless, and manipulative, believes everything must go her way in order for things to go the right way. Can be uptight but only when it comes to protecting others under her. Used to be caring and friendly until the world changed. Some of those qualities show through... but rarely.

Bio: Some say that Eliza was born with a silver spoon up her ass. They're half right. It was as if her life was already handed to her the moment she was born. Most parents, when telling their kid that they could become president in the future, were only joking. For Eliza, it was an expectation. There she was raised on the idea of perfection. Top scores in school, leader of the debate team, student class president, it was the vision of perfection. Eliza didn't let perfection rule her attitude of others, she ran charities and helped tutor. It wasn't until the outbreak where everything about her changed. Eliza no longer believed in playing nice with everyone, especially when they don't follow her ways. Because the White House Group was such a perfect fit for her, she quickly rose to become an officer.

Personality:
Ala is very quiet, keeping to herself and to the edges of the Washington Monument Group. She doesn't trust anyone around her and it shows in how she holds her small body.
Weapons:

Bio:
When Ala was born she had a father who wasn't in the picture and a mother who would die shortly after her birth. Her grandparents took her into their house and raised her. She grew up in comfort and content with her life. She didn't know struggle until the outbreak happened. When it happened she barely managed to get away alive, and she certainly didn't do so unscathed. She had managed to leave home with a small rucksack with some clothes, a doll, and a kitchen knife. Due to only being eight at the time few groups were willing to let such a young liability in so she one day found herself on the fringes of the Washington Monument Crew, surviving like a scavenger.

Personality: James is a friendly person who is trusting of most people but is not one to be taken lightly because he is cunning, He does not mind using dirty tricks when he is dealing with humans. He has masochistic tendencies loving to be hurt but has a strong fear of fire ever since the incident.

Weapons(optional): Double barrel shotgun, Military knife, and a Remington Model 799

Bio(Three sentences at least.): Before the the incident happened James was just a high school student and when the incident happened he was taken hostage by some raiders and then set on fire along with his brother. So now he mostly explores the land looking for somewhere to call home.

Group: alone for now

Personality: He's a lone wolf but understands that to survive means being in a group. he doesn't take orders from anyone, that is unless they feel like family to him. He wouldn't care less about who he kills, human or "animal".

Weapons

Bio(Three sentences at least.): before the infection Sean was a normal boy, as was everyone else. When he first saw his parents turn he locked himself in his room, they had already gotten his younger sister. after a day locked inside of his room he heard gunshots, his older brother Jason had killed their parents, if you could call them that. A year later they had made names for themselves, the "brothers grim", loosely based on the brothers grimm and the actual definition of "grim". His brother, however, was caught by a group of raiders when travelling to a settlement, Sean had killed all of them before finding his brother dead stripped of his belongings... he was left scarred and psychologically hurt, when news had spread about his brothers' death and the carnage caused by Sean they then renamed him the "grim reaper" and/or the "lone wolf".
