Oh, yea, that's right. You guys and your damn niche cartridges lol I'm going to make it a point for Werner to ask why you absolutely need .357 sig or .45-70 gov't.

But I have a special place in my heart for lever guns. I want to get a Marlin guide gun.

Also, isn't Victor's cap-gun chambered in 5.45x39, not 7.62x39?

lol I was about to say, I was filling all of that out and couldn't be assed at 12am to start looking on sheets and looking up/trying to remember all of the ammunition types we need. Fun fact: until just now, I'd no idea sig p320s came in .357. Pretty funny, considering it is chambered in .357 SIG.

YUP! The P320 actually can caliber conversion kits that you can get for it. So, you can have it anything from .380 to .45. It's a pretty sweet little thang. Got one for myself for christmas and couldn't help throwing it in here. haha!

Forgot to address this. Why kick a door down when your gun pretty much turns it to sawdust? He's a contractor though so I guess he can order it himself.

Name: Rosa 'Titania' Ruelas

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Rosa stands at 5'9 with mocha colored skin and a lean and athletic physique. One can tell that if she wasn't in great shape she would be quite skinny. Despite her lean form, upon closer inspection reveals she packs plenty of muscle, perhaps less muscle than when she was in the Marines, but muscle nonetheless. She keeps her black silky hair almost always in a manageable pony tail. Her sharp dark brown eyes miss nothing and she gives off the impression that she's as dangerous as the many criminals she encounters. She has the walk of someone who is confident in themselves and obviously capable without seeming arrogant or obnoxious. She has a scar along her left jawline from a stray piece of shrapnel.

Agency/Organization: Former Corporal of the Marine Corps, now United States Marshal Service Criminal Investigator and member of the USMS's SOG teams.

Education: Born in the lower middle class, Rosa didn't look forward to being thousands of dollars in debt. So she became a marine and payed for college through the G.I. bill and worked her way to a degree in criminal justice.

Background:

Rosa Caterina Lola Ruela was born in El Paso, Texas in March of 1990 to a lower middle class Mexican family. She grew up with one other brother and sister, Raphael and Luna, she was the oldest of the three. Rosa was three years older than Raphael and five years older than Luna. Her father was an agricultural engineer and her mother a dental assistant. Growing up so close to the Mexican border, Rosa saw and heard first hand about the horrors of the cartels. Her parents made sure she was thankful that she was living in America. Besides these horrific stories and the occasional run in with gangs and other not so friendly types, Rosa's childhood was happy. Her parents never had any problems (That she knew of) and despite many, many instances of not being able to stand her siblings, they got along well enough.

But the September 11th attacks and her wanderlust made her start to hate her home city and a desire to leave and go anywhere overcame her. Rosa was not an average teenager, she was an intelligent student (when she tried or cared) and developed a love of physical fitness in her late teens. The only problem was that her family (like most in america) were too poor to afford college and she couldn't pay for it on her own. So she enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, the biggest badasses to walk the face of the planet (as she would put when explaining her decision to her friends and family). She would use the money from the G.I. bill to go to college afterward. Since women were not allowed in combat in this time frame, Rosa put her top job pick as 5811 Military Police. She shipped off to bootcamp a month after she graduated high school at 18 years old in 2008. Bootcamp was by far the hardest thing she had ever done in her life by that point but she took it a day at a time and prevailed, climbing the reaper and being given her golden globe, eagle, and anchor. One of the proudest moments of her life. After she graduated bootcamp she had a short leave then went off to her school, which would last 15 weeks.

Fast forward a year, Rosa is 19 and working as a MP on a marine base in florida. She loves her life in the marines so far and begins to love it even more. She had deployment orders, she would be sent to a FOB in Afghanistan. She would finally see some real action. A week later she was on a plane to the middle east, into the shit. She was so excited, never in her dreams would she have imagined she would be deployed, especially as a woman. 6 months she spent in Afghanistan and saw not as much action as she hoped. A few quick skirmishes, a stray explosion, a body being brought in. She went on numerous convoy security missions that more often or not were quiet and uneventful. She went home slightly disappointed, but satisfied she had done her part overseas. The next two years pass by as she jumps from base to base, station to station, occasionally being promoted.

We are now in 2011 and Rosa gets orders she would have never expected. A second deployment to Iraq. So, like before, she was excited. Her battle lust hadn't faded even though she was on her last year of her first enlistment. 6 months in Iraq. This time was much more action packed. She would be dropped into the middle of a war zone to provide security for US-Friendly personnel. That covered a very broad area of duties and some of the locals weren't all too happy with the US presence. It was a bloody 6 months, Rosa herself lost a couple of friends, got some confirmed kills, earned a scar along her jawline. She was considered one of the toughest Female NCOs in the company. She earned the nickname 'Titania' the only one she cared to remember. She went home a veteran of war, despite nobody expecting her to be one. Corporal Ruelas was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in august of 2011. Her next challenge was to get through college and into a job she wanted and she already had one in mind.

The United States Marshal Service has one of the most selective job programs out of the other law enforcement agencies. This enticed Rosa, being a marine. She went through four years of college, a bit jaded, and earned a degree in Criminal Justice. Now all she had to do was get selected by the USMS and pass their training. Easy. She did just that, become a Deputy Marshal in late 2015. It was in the next two years though, that she would capture a criminal that would define her career and directly lead her to the operation at hand. A known terrorist, the second in command of an up in coming and incredibly new cell had escaped. What's that? You've never heard of this cell? Well Rosa fucking Ruelas is the reason for that. It was in the middle of the Arizonan desert, a plane carrying the prisoner crashed. The crash wasn't bad and most of the inhabitants survived unharmed, but in the chaos the prisoner managed to retrieve a weapon and proceeded to kill everyone else and run. Rosa was the nearest to the crash, still a Deputy Marshal, this being only 5 and a half months after her officially becoming a member of the USMS. She hunted down the bastard through the Arizonan desert for 2 and a half days with no backup. She knew how to navigate the deserts of the southwest, growing up in El Paso helped with that.

But the prisoner was smart and the desert wasn't too different from his home in the middle east. It had come up close but she found him and shot him in the leg, subduing him after. He began to scream at her about demons, and infidels, and how it was all the american's fault. They had brought about the end of the world. She quickly punched in the mouth after that, if only to shut him up. She then carried him 15 miles to a rendezvous point where a USMS chopper waited for them. Willpower of a marine. Rosa was allowed in on the investigation and helped take down the fledgling cell, receiving praise from the FBI, Homeland Security, and of course, the US Marshal Service.

The case was a bizarre one, the cell was constantly surrounded by strange occult items and symbols no one had seen before and all the other members they captured spouted the same nonsense as the man Rosa captured. She was promoted to Criminal Investigator two months later. The next year and 3/4 were spent protecting witnesses, chasing down fugitives, and leading a successful organized crime investigation of her own, taking place in her home town of El Paso. But now she's here, unsure but ready for anything. And she has a feeling, anything is what she's gonna find.

Personality:

Rosa is a no nonsense, quick witted, sharp tongued, tough as nails cop. While she can be relaxed and have fun, she knows there is a time and a place for it. She is a trusting and loyal person to her comrades, having so many enemies in the criminal world makes friends valuable. This new world of possible espionage is something totally new for her, she prefers a straight forward approach. As stated before, she is loyal to a fault and very trusting of her whoever she is working with. She expects them to guard her with their life because she knows she would guard their life with hers. Its a mentality she developed in the marines, brothers and sisters in arms. She works well with others and is generally perceived as likeable, a bit of a hardass but not to a point where it would rub people the wrong way. She doesn't much care about people's pasts and totally trusts in them and her superiors, not questioning orders very much. Another Marine mentality. Despite having some dark times, she never had to question her own morals or the morals of her government. She truly believes that she and the US is working for the greater good for everyone.

Skills:
Gifted(+5): Awareness, Marksmanship (Long Gun)
Adept(+3): Interrogation, Marksmanship (Handguns), Stealth
Average(+2): Disguise, First Aid, SERE
Novice(+1): Hand -to- Hand, Law, Criminology, Tactical Driving

Foreign Languages: French, Spanish (Mexican Dialect), English

Weaknesses:

Small frame: Despite being in fantastic shape and a hell of a fighter, Rosa still is a small woman. She doesn't have a lot of weight to her and her muscle doesn't compare to some others. She can get easily overpowered in hand to hand or just in general if she isn't quick and careful.

Too Trusting: Rosa is a straightforward woman, she expects her comrades to believe and trust and rely on her as much as she them. But in this new world of espionage, that just might get her burned.

Clout:

Captain John Alvera, 1st Marie Raider Battalion, MARSOC, USSOCOM

Diana Morozov, USMS Forensics

Weapons: Bowie Knife strapped to her back. Glock 42 concealed in her jeans.

Operational Clothing/Equipment
Clothing: Dark clothing that would be made for running, climbing, etc. The clothing would often blend in a little with the environment their working in. Unmarked Baseball cap. Noice, more Feds. Not everyone can be contracted or working with the Agency. Good to see this character, so now that makes three Federal Law Enforcement characters and three not. I actually don't have anything to say other than be really goddamn nitpicky and tell you that you should put the corresponding suppressors for both your weapons inside the equipment section.

In addition to this, and slightly less nitpicky, you should add in a weird case. There was a requirement inside the notes for the background section that says that the character had a brush with the unknown, the supernatural, the mythos, whatever you want to call it. Could be the terrorist she picked up in the desert kept saying cryptic things to her. Bringing in someone like that would've definitely turned Steve Foster's head and made him pull her file and add it to the team's roster. Of course, it would be pretty interesting for Rosa to have no knowledge of the paranormal prior to the assignment, similar to Peik's character.

In addition to this, just try to add what branch and unit Captain John Alvera belongs to.

After that, just post your character in the characters tab and I'll had her to the roster.

Hey there, one small thing I thought I'd mention about the sheet you posted, we seem to have some overlap in our Clout sections. One of my contacts is 'Virgil Riley, DEA Chief of Operations' and one of yours is 'George Wilkerson - DEA Operations Lead', which sound very similar as jobs go. My research (probably giving it airs and graces, I just read some easily google-able articles online) seemed to show that Chief of Operations was the correct title for that sort of figure in the DEA, not Operations Lead.

To fix this, we could just both have Virgil Riley as a contact, nothing to stop one man having several friends. Or maybe Operations Lead means something else, in which case I'd be interested to hear what George Wilkerson's role is in the DEA, to clear up my confusion.

It's not a big thing but in a game that puts such focus on the particulars and the details, it seems worth addressing.

No worries, I've made small missteps when researching a character many times, it happens to all of us. And I barely know what I'm talking about, I'm dreading the moment I try to write something about guns and everyone realises that I only recently worked out that a banana magazine has nothing to do with actual bananas.

@The Survivor Cool, Rosa's been added to the roster.

IC will be up in a bit. Feel free to investigate to your heart's content.
The nature of this RP means that any leads I give you may be investigated at will, alone or with a partner. Those who are in David's apartment building, feel free to explore the building, interview anyone you want(you may create minor NPCs, but do PM me any ideas you feel should have the GM's seal of approval), search anywhere you feel to be suspicious, etc.

Anyone can be interviewed, building's security guards, custodians, the night manager, office workers, the State Police in the lobby and outside (with an opening interrogation roll with a -6 penalty due to apprehension, provided you don't have a badge to flash)

Also Detective Albright. (Det. Albright can only be questioned with an interrogation roll at a -8 penalty. If you pass, interrogation rolls must be made with each round of questions, compounding -2 penalty on each round for her getting annoyed at being interviewed.)

Searching areas obviously requires an awareness roll. Successful awareness rolls inside the lobby make the character aware that the officers get tense at their arrival, with some seeming to glare at the team's presence. For Peik, Dan must make an awareness check inside David's apartment.

@The Survivor Put her down as Senior Inspector now. Deputy US Marshal refers to any marshal in a non-supervisory position, similar to the term Sheriff's Deputy being used to refer to law enforcement belonging to the Sheriff's Department who is not elected or appointed into the Sheriff position of a city or county. 1811 Criminal Investigator may be her rank in the Marshals Service, but she is still a Deputy Marshal until she earns the title of Supervisory Deputy US Marshal and any other title above it. Since Rosa is not in charge of three or more other US Marshals or clerks, she would've been promoted to Inspector/Senior Inspector sometime before being chosen for the operation.
