“Whoa,” Drake said as he jumped back at the sudden tails actions. He then laughed and scratched the back of his head and said, “Sorry about that. Kind got lost in the moment. The tech that tails made of is amazing.”
“Name’s Drake by the way. Sorry if I came off all creepy when I started poking at your tail. It just an amazing piece of tech. could help but marvel at it. However, I still can’t pinpoint what it’s made of,” Drake said as he started to try and figure out what the tail was made of. He looked her up and down before he smiled and began to laugh and added, “Nope. I got nothing” he sighed and started the strap on his shoulder that held his guitar.

“You must keep what it’s made of a secret,” Drake said before he looked at the hood she wore and tapped the side of his head and added, “Among other things.” He then removed his own hat and continued, “I mean how bad can your hair actually be? Look at mine: I barely brush the rats nest.” He laughed and placed his hat back on.

Seth began moving through the crowd of people trying to find a safe haven in the crowd. He contemplated turning around and heading back to his isolated spot on the ship, but there we’re so many people around that the path was cut off. Please don’t activate, please don’t activate he pleaded with himself before he found a bench near a window. There weren’t a lot of people near it and it seemed like a good place to collect his thoughts and catch his breath. Since starting his trek through the crowd of people. He had begun to hold his breath in hopes nothing would happen.

Seth was able to make it to the bench and sat down and let out a long breath and said to himself, “Made it. I had no idea there were this many people in this part of the ship. This might have been a bad idea.” Seth sighed again and tried to drown out all the noise around him. His anxiety started to come back so he closed his eyes and tried to control his breathing. However, his right fox ear began to swivel as the voice around him continued while his left fox ear stayed stationary. His fluffy white fox tail flipped up and lay on his lap as he continued to try and calm his nerves.

Sunil was on one of the lower deck trying to get some sleep as he was awoken back a hologram appearing beside him. He jumped and as he hit the wood floor he said"ow". Sunil stood up and decided to go and see if they were there yet. He opened the metal door as he looked around trying to find the stairs. After he did he climbed them making it to the top floor he looked around.

Misha let out a snort and released her tail, allowing Fenrir to examine it after determining that these people were just curious - like her. As Fenrir touched the tip, it would outstretch towards him and spin, a very subtle whirring noise coming from the jointless tail. It would then tap on his shoulder, then the other one, as if it had wanted to initiate in a sort of harmless play. Though as sentient as it seemed, the tail was likely controlled by Misha herself. "Crickey," The young girl mimicked Fenrir's accent, "I can't feel it... Lad - mate? Buck-o. Gosh, you guys just want all of my secrets - Shh!"

She beams as she glances back to Drake, watching as he removed his hat. For a moment, she contemplated wether or not to do the same. This was a new school after all, new people, hunters and huntresses had no room to get judged. Misha tugged her hood down, her dyed lavender bob straightened a neat, however there were two small horns on either side of her head, one resting on each temple. The horns had separated her bangs, which the young girl would try to fix up. "Misha Maroon Montgomery, it's nice to meetcha! I mean, Fenrir boy, and Drake... Guy. - But what was I saying? Oh! I have a thing called a brush, I don't know if you use it." She teases, letting out another snort.

From the moment she had gotten onto the airship to the beginning of the holographic message, Zana had been a blur followed by absurdly long ribbons. This was her first time riding an airship, so she wanted to see anything and everything she could before it landed and her chance was over. As the ship lifted off, her attention focused on the windows. Zana gazed with wonder at the land pulling away from her as she flew toward the sky.

Once they'd reached the clouds, Zana's head filled with thoughts of eating the clouds. They look so soft, she thought. I wonder if they taste like cotton candy. Unfortunately for her, it didn't seem like she would be finding out on this trip, as a hologram of Glenda Goodwitch shimmered to life nearby, drawing her attention back inside the ship.

She looked on as Glenda gave the welcome speech, hanging on her every word. Zana's excitement, which she had thought to be at its peak, rose to a fever pitch as Glenda rattled off the history of Beacon Academy. However, all that drained away as the end of Glenda's speech came up:

"As we arrive to the doors of Beacon, it is expected of you all to act with the dignity required to attend this school. No horse play on the airship, no sparring, no absurd roughhousing, and no bothering the staff during their work."

Zana's face fell. Her look of attentive excitement was replaced by a deep pout. How would she get to know her friends if she couldn't fight them? The fastest way to get to know someone, as far as Zana was concerned, was to try to kill them, so sparring was far better than wandering around and having idle conversations.

No, this can't stand.

Her eyes surveyed the crowd of students, looking for someone, anyone, who looked interesting. Her attention settled upon a boy with white hair gazing out the window at the passing clouds. She made her way over to him in a flash, weaving through the crowd like she'd lived in one her whole life.

Zana's left arm swept upward in one fluid motion, sending the ribbon forward to tap on the boy's shoulder while leaving her hand free to point a fist at him. Her right hand reached down to finger the handle of her holstered weapon, itching to draw it. "Heyo, stiffy! Ya look 'bout as bored as I'm gonna be in five minutes. Wanna break the boredom with a fight?"

Snow managed to duck away from the crowd of people as they all seemed to want to examine the strange tail. Since no-one was watching him anyomre he slipped away and left the main landing, making his way further into the ship. When he was out of the crowd he slowly started to feel a lot better and calmer, relaxing his tail behind it allowing it to wave about while resting his quarter staff on his shoulder as he walked down the passageway. He passed one or two people as he walked down heading, finally he stopped in an empty space. He could see someone by the stairs looking further down the hallway before turning his gaze out of the window watching as the clouds and birds went past in the open skies.

He was sure the group of people wouldn't even notice if he had gone or not, being he was small for his age after all. He found it almost funny that his staff was almost as long as he was. Turning his attantion to his quarterstaff he pulled out a cloth from his pocket and started to wipe down the wood being careful not to trigger the switch that would turn his staff into a sword.

Albretch Dwight

As Albretch kept watch on the tranquil sky, he began to transfix into daydream.

Two solid oak manor doors swung open leisurely. A maid either side from behind them, grinning with delight as if welcomed home from a long journey. Through the open way, a large room that fitted a staircase, butlers and maids tended to their separate tasks. Some carried silver serving dishes or cleaning equipment, though all seemed to be finding their separate ways.

"May I take your coat, Master Dwight?" A maid proposed, in a distinctive British accent.

Albretch looked on in awe as he was transported into a most distinct memory, slipping one arm out at a time before handing his coat to the maid. He gazed over the inside of the manor, inspecting it for flaws, yet it seemed his memory was not splintered. Albretch focused over to the stairway. Recalling moments of his childhood to which he'd slide down the bannister, even though his Mother and Father would scold him for doing so.

"Is there anything I can fetch for you Master Dwight?" The maid suggested in a courteous tone.

"Thankyou, though that is not necessary." Albretch responded, still bewildered by the sights around him.

The maid presented a cheerful smile, nodding her head whilst doing so, one hand on top of the other resting against her stomach.

"Yes Master Dwight. Your Father is waiting for you in the study room." The maid informed before heading off.

Father?

Albretch made his way toward the study room in a lengthy manner, taking in the vivid paintings and decor. He pushed his palm against the door and peered through the small opening.

"Albretch? Is that you Albretch?" His Father called in a modulated tone.

Albretch continued to push the door until he saw his Father seated in his armchair near an open fire, a newspaper unfolded in his lap.

"Albretch, where have you been all this time? Mother has been worried sick." His father questioned with a mellow voice, looking over to Albretch, a warm smile against his lips.

"Oh! Father!" Albretch responded, holding back his tears.

He ran across the space of the study and onto his Father's lap, his arms hooked around the back of his neck. Albretch dug his face into his Father's shoulder, sobbing lightly so to go unnoticed.

"Why Albretch! What has gotten into you my boy!" Father chuckled.

"I've been gone for far too long Father, far too long" Albretch replied, feeling a tear roll down the side of his nose and down his chin.

Albretch began to slowly fade from his daydream after feeling gentle contact on his shoulder, reacquainting himself to his surroundings and the open sky in front. A single tear rolled down from his eye, across his cheek, and dissipated onto the floor. He could have effortlessly considered not turning around. However, if someone was trying to get his attention, it would be rather rude of him to ignore. He wiped himself with his right sleeve before turning around, noticing a girl standing among him. Albretch wasn't attentive to what the girl had said, nor that she had her hand at the holster.

"What is it?" Albretch spoke in a less than assertive tone.

Zana's fingers closed around the grip of The Queen of Hearts as it sprang up to meet her palm. She leapt to close the distance between herself and the stranger she'd challenged. While midair, The Queen of Hearts extended to its full length, clicking slightly as each piece snapped neatly into place.

"Wrong answer. Off with your head!"

A single shot rang out in the airship, the recoil of which propelled Zana into a whirlwind spin. Combining the momentum with her own strength, she brought the singing blade of The Queen of Hearts to bear against the surprised boy. The blade struck true, cleaving cleanly through the boy's neck and severing his head from his body. Both dropped heavily to the floor.

As the remnants of the boy's life seeped out of his head through what remained of his neck, Zana crouched to bring herself into the center of the fallen head's vision. "Inattentiveness is weakness 'round here. I just saved ya the disgrace of falling to a Beowulf. Welcome to Underland!" With a smile she turned and left the bloody mess to find something else to do on the airship.

Hopefully there'd be enough students left to form even a single team when they reached Beacon.

Back in the real world, though, Zana met the response by comically deflating. She slumped forward, arms going limp momentarily to sway gently beneath her torso. This lasted mere seconds before she recomposed herself, drawing The Queen of Diamonds with her left hand while tucking loose hair behind her fake human ears with the right.

"'It' is simple, really. You? Bored. Me? Getting bored-er. Us? Fight." Zana leveled her pistol-length weapon at the boy, her face split in a grin. "Whaddya say, buddy?"

Albretch Dwight

He listened through the girl's response, ensuring more attention than beforehand, even though it seemed as if he was looking straight through her. Once the remaining words had left her mouth, Albretch dug his hands firmly into his pockets, wrists holding back the waist of his coat. A passing cloud began to lurk across the window behind, casting a faint shadow on his back. Raising an eyebrow at the girl, he felt rather caught off-guard by the proposal, not suspecting someone to challenge him this early during his stay at Vale Academy. Especially inside of an airship during mid-flight, leading him to question himself of her intelligence. Returning his eyebrow, Albretch slipped momentarily into thought, gazing briefly into her eyes.

Could this girl be showing a sense of humor? Surely someone in the right mind wouldn't ask for duel in an airship? She must be joking. Glenda Goodwitch specifically said no sparring on the airship, it wouldn't be wise to go against her words this early in enrolment.

Due to the girl being unacquainted. Albretch couldn't decide over whether she was simply pulling his leg or acting inconsiderately. Either way, the stranger wasn't going to get the fight she had asked for. Albretch doesn't consider himself a rule breaker, and certainly isn't going to by-pass that now he's a student of Vale Academy. He instead decides to present himself in a brief and reserved manner.

"That's quite the sense of humour you have there. I'm sure we have not met. My name's Albretch." His eyes transiting blankly towards her weapon, then returning to eye contact as he spoke in a mellow tone.

At first impression the student seemed a bit too impulsive for Albretch's taste. Although, he would still attempt to keep their relation at a neutral level. Yet social skills certainly wasn't one of Albretch's talents, almost always coming across as brash to new faces. However, Albretch wasn't here to build a healthy social life, he was here to become a huntsmen.

Upon further scrutiny, Zana realized that she had been incorrect in her initial evaluation. The boy who now stood down the business end of The Queen of Diamonds was not bor-ed, he was bor-ing! The clothing he wore suggested a cushy, high-class upbringing. The mellow, unassertive tones in which he spoke demonstrated a lack of ambition to her eyes. His slow initial response should have tipped her off, but she had been a bit... distracted by a certain fantasy of hers.

The smile vanished from her face as her arm lowered slightly in disappointment. Unfortunately, this "Albrecht" had initiated introductions, and decency dictated she give her name in return. "Zanahor'ya," she responded with a sigh. "Jeez, you're no fun. I hope everyone here isn't as stiff as you."

Her arm lowered The Queen of Diamonds further as she took a step back. Completely bored now, Zana allowed her itching finger to tense... pulling the trigger to fire a solitary shot straight at Albrecht's gut. Unconcerned, Zana simply turned to walk away, holstering her weapon calmly.

hearing a gunfire alearted Snow, nearly causing him to drop his quarterstaff in the process. Quickly catching it before it hit the floor, curosity got the better of the young wolf fanus. He didn't have to go far as he turned a corner he saw ahead a rather well dressed male talking to a rather loud female or prehaps bored? Half hiding from behind the corner all the way up the passageway keeping into the shadows. Something told him he didn't want to be seen by her at all, but he was also a little worried for what was going on.

“Whoa,” Drake said when he saw her horns before he added, “Now that’s cool. I wonder.” He then used his hands to make a small box and looked through it before he laughed. And folded his arm in front of him and said, “You know. I was thinking of making a band while being a hunter. Can you sing? Between your cool metal tail and light up shoes. You’d be a perfect lead singer. As you can see, I’d be the guitar guy.” He moved his guitar from his back and strummed the strings. The sound sounded like an electric guitar through an amplifier.

“Just a thought though,” Drake admitted before he added, “Being a hunter is top priority, but why not have a little fun along the way.” Drake smiled before he placed the guitar back in place on his back. He then took his cordless head phones off and adjusted one of the sides before he placed them back around his neck.

Seth’s right ear stopped at two people talking about fighting. Might not be a good idea. A fight might get my Semblance startled and have it activate. Probably should defuse the situation Seth said before he opened his eyes and looked over at the two and said, “Please don’t fight. For starters it’s a very small area and people will get caught in your damn ego measuring contest and two: no one wants to see two idiots fight.” defuse! You didn’t defuse it! You poured gas on the fire you moron! Seth mental kicked himself before he sighed.

“Now would you kindly let me sit here in peace without hearing you two bicker over such trivial matters,” Seth said with another sigh. In truth he hated how he sounded, but if they did get to fighting. His semblance might activate. It was something he didn’t want to happen. He flinched a little when he heard the gun shot, but soon relaxed as to not let his anxiety grow.

Fenrir watches as the girl, who later tells her name to the little rocker kid Misha, let out a snort and released her tail, allowing him to get a better look to examine it. As he touched the tip, the tail began to outstretch towards him and spin, a very subtle whirring noise coming from the jointless tail. It would then tap him on one shoulder, then the other one, as if it had wanted to initiate in a sort of harmless play. At this he chuckles lightly "This is quite the tail madam."

However what interested him is what came next, the girl seemed to beam at the rocker kid as he removed his hat. the girl tugged her hood down and displayed rather a unusual dyed lavender bob straightening into a neat hair style. What surprised him was that there were two small horns on either side of her head, one resting on each temple. The horns had separated her bangs, which the young girl would try to fix up. "Misha Maroon Montgomery, it's nice to meetcha! I mean, Fenrir boy, and Drake... Guy. - But what was I saying? Oh! I have a thing called a brush, I don't know if you use it." Misha couldn’t help but burst into a short bout of laughter. “Me?” She kneels down slightly to slap her hands on her knees. “Sing?” It took her a moment to gather herself entirely, and when she did, the young girl would stand back up and wipe a tear from her eye after laughing so hard. “I’m tone deaf, imagine dunking a heated piece of metal into a cold bath of water. The sound it makes is how I sing - which is a nightmare. I can totally have fun though, that’s what I’m all about - good luck with getting a band together though. HA… Me. Singing.” The girl gestures a bit, lifting her hand up and making a flourishing motion. She would attempt to lean on Drake, resting her elbow on his shoulder to invade his personal space. “You got a guitar? Can I hold it? Do you fight with it?”

She then looked to Fenrir, watching as he introduced himself to Drake. The young girl would then lean off of the guitar boy, opting to lean on Fenrir now. “What about you? What’s your weapon? Can you sing?” Control yourself Misha, you’re prying. Her tail would sway behind her at a slow, methodical pace - which didn’t match currently with Misha’s exuberant behavior.

As an added bonus, she would look to Fenrir, then to Drake, her violet eyes batting like a puppy.

Albretch Dwight

"Zanahor'ya," The girl responded with a sigh.

Albretch was struck by confusion, unsure to why the girl appeared so suddenly displeased. However, still remaining at a state of disbelief towards Zanahor'ya's aggressive propositon.

Did I do something wrong? She was grinning only moments ago... Could I have been too stern?

Albretch didn't intend to upset his new-found acquaintance. He figured a change of body language could help to improve what she had previously perceived of him. Forming his lips into a gentle smile, hoping she'd realise he wasn't so stone-faced after all. Albretch then pursued by drifting a hand to his chest, facing the palm inwards. He was about to attempt complimenting Zana's name to improve her mood. Although, he was sorely interrupted as she resumed talking.

"Jeez, you're no fun. I hope everyone here isn't as stiff as you." Zanahor'ya continued whilst vaguely lowering her weapon.

Luckily for Zana, Albretch is distinctively thick-skinned. It would take a thousand more impudent remarks to even scratch his surface. Besides, he was more puzzled than anything else. His smile quickly straightened as he shifted his eyes between a few onlooking students, all of them demonstrating mixed reactions. Albretch presumed they overheard what Zana had said. The hand at his chest froze momentarily until falling to his side.

“Please don’t fight. For starters it’s a very small area and people will get caught in your damn ego measuring contest and two: no one wants to see two idiots fight.” Albretch heard a voice caution from nearby.

Albretch cast his eyes over a Faunus who'd been irritated by the whole scenario. He then returned to looking at the girl, unsuspecting to discover his last guess was indeed correct.

Did she seriously want to fight me? In an airship of all places. Beacon Academy usually selects their students wisely, but this girl? This Zana, appears to have a few too many screws loose.

“Now would you kindly let me sit here in peace without hearing you two bicker over such trivial matters.” The Faunus continued.

Albretch only heeded a small fraction of the Faunus's dialogue, his attention spanning elsewhere once told Zana intended to fight him. She took a few steps back from Albretch. He hoped she was going to disappear into the crowd, leaving him be; at least not to come into contact with him again sooner than later. However, a gunshot reverberated through his ears. Albretch's aura manifested instantaneously to shield the oncoming bullet, eyes closing as an induced reflex.

He reopening his eyes, crossing his arms in disapproval towards Zana. Albretch could of easily reproached her, instead he anticipated she'd back off. Either that, or someone else would have a keen opinion to address.

The lack of any discernible reaction from Albrecht convinced Zana that leaving was the right decision. The boring, uninteresting boy had turned out to be almost completely lifeless as well. For all the boy's high-class appearance, his manners were definitely lacking. After all, he didn't even know how to properly return a greeting!

Zana's inner moping was interrupted by another student stepping forward to introduce himself. This one - Sunil, he called himself - also lacked in proper manners... No, she corrected herself, there's still a chance he's waiting for me to shoot first. With that small hope spurring her on, she introduced herself.

"I'm Zanahor'ya," she stated, once again unintentionally mispronouncing her own name. Whether this was due to her accent or her mood, or if it was a product of the two, was uncertain.

She didn't bother pulling The Queen of Diamonds back out of its holster for the introduction. Instead, she opted to pull the trigger as she passed by Sunil, firing another of her low-powdered greeting shots at his foot. She continued walking, albeit at a slower pace, waiting hopefully for a return.

From his corner Snow was still watching, the girl who had attacked the first male had clearly picked a fight with another as she slowly made her way up the hallway, to his corner where he was watching. Growling slightly he moved himself further in the shadows but made sure he could still watch. He wanted to know if everyone was going to be okay while not wanting to be seen by anyone. Holding on tightly to his staff, his finger was just above the trigger that would turn his staff into a sword..feeling very on edge.

Drake shacks Fenrir hand before he says, "Nice to meet yea."

Drake then pointed at himself when Misha asked him if he could sing. It was Drakes turn to burst out laughing. It took him several seconds to collect himself before he said, “I can’t sing to save my life my singing is so bad. I’ve been kicked out of every karaoke bar there is.” When she asked him about his Guitar he nodded and flipped it so he was holding the neck of the guitar. He squeezed tightly and its body spun as it morphed into its Scythe form. Flames shot upwards as he smiled and let the guitar rest on his shoulders

“Yep, this is my partner in crime Nirvana,” he squeezed the neck again and it formed back into its guitar form before he handed it to Misha and added, “Here, hold her for a while. She won’t mind.” Drake smiled warmly and added, “She’s perfect for my Semblance. That’s why dad gave it to me.”

Seth’s ear twitched as he opened his eyes and looked at Drake and the group around him. He sighed and stated, “Your weapons aren’t toys.” Say’s the guy that uses Yoyo’s. Seth thought before he continued, “some of us are here to be serous hunters. Not to have fun and lollygag and waste everyone’s time and effort.”
Drake looked around Misha and stared at Seth. He head a confusing look on his face as he said, “Calm yourself Foxy. Having a little fun isn’t going to hurt anyone.” He looked back at Misha and cracked a smile.

“I’m a wolf you Punk Rock Reject,” Seth said as he narrowed his eyes towards Drake.

“Wolf?” rake questioned before he looked at Seth confused. The insult seemed to go over Drakes head before he added, “oh I get it. You’re one of those Fauns that hates his own animal characteristics sand wants to be something different. What’s so wrong with being a fox?”

“I am a Wolf,” Seth growled as he glared at Seth. If there was one thing Seth actually hated, it was being called a fox. Yes, he was a fox Fauns, but he felt like he was a wolf. Drake shrugged off Drake's anger and looked back to Misha.

"Once you're done. hand it over to to her," Drake said as he pointed to Azupiranu. he smiled at Azupiranu and added, "I see you eyeing Nirvana. no worries, she likes the attention."
