Abigail turned her attention to Hunter. The navigator looked like he was having trouble letting go of the wheel. Perhaps it was an inability to grasp the fact that not only had the ship made it through the rough seas, but they were still in one peace themselves. Eventually though he managed to get his fingers to relax and make his way over to the captain.

"Things could always be worst." She nodded. "Those marines could've made it through the storm with us." With a frown she chewed on her lips and looked around. "I suppose that's the only option we've got at the moment, isn't it?" She paused to think things through but nothing came to mind. They were between a rock and a hard place, and sooner rather than later both firm surfaces were going to start squeezing them like vices.

She paused to turn her attention to Anna, whose head was red for more than just her hair. "Blood loss from the head is good. It gives your brain more room for some out the box thinking. Plus, its better than bleeding profusely from other places like the left side of your chest, gut, arm pits, ect, etc."

"Hmmm." Abigail put a hand on her hip while the other rested on the railing so she could drum her fingers. She didn't have very good rhythm. "We don't have much time either, do we? I'm sure that the marines must've gotten word out to the rest of the island we're here." She paused for a moment before nodding to herself. Her eyes narrowed. "Still, we've come here for a reason, haven't we?"

"Hunter." She said, with her face still towards the island. "You wouldn't by chance know which way the prison might be, would you?"

"Aye, I came here afore with the Felconi family," Hunter said, glancing over at the horizon, "The Don had a rather foolish son who got himself arrested. We weren't there to break him out though, the bastard was going to blab about their entire operation. I ain't proud of killing the prat, but it got me enough gold to settle down for a few years."

Listening to the breeze, he jumped ashore and headed North along the beach. The prison was on the south of the island, but his intuition was telling him that this was the way he should take. Plus, it was a beautiful day.

As he rounded a rocky outcropping, about 500 foot from the ship, he came across two men around an empty treasure chest, and they weren't marines. They looked half starved, but at a glance he could read that one was an engineer, and the other was of the medical profession. Thanking Posiedon and his wife, he doubled back and called out to the crew.

"Cap'n!" He yelled, waving his arms to signal them over, "I found some shipwrecked sailors. They have talents we sorely need right now!"

"Well it certainly was a stupid decision on both of our parts since we cant swim now" Said Elliot recovering from the horrible experience of eating a devil fruit "Dogfighting? While that doesnt sound too nice for us its better than dying on this insland, with that being said I dont have anything other than the now empty chest and surgical knife, maybe we can try to use our devil fruit powers to gain their attention?" concentrating Elliot tried to use whatever ability his devil fruit had given him, hoping for something cool like the ability to turn into metal or transform into fire. Instead Elliot saw his hand turn into many white paper strips “Eh?” Elliot really didn't know if obtaining this power was really worth trading the ability to swim. “I-i don't know how to catch their attention with this” showing the strips of paper that was previously his hand “What can you do?”

"Gods above!" Eddie exclaimed, as the man's hand literally turned into paper. "Wow. I must believe you now, whether I should like to, or not. What on earth can I do? I have no idea how I- how I activate my ability."

He concentrated, tensing his whole body.

Pop.

A large, glossy white, egg-like object came into existence, near his left hand, and dropped onto the floor. A wave of slight nausea, and exhaustion, came over him.

"Eh?" Dumbfounded, Eddie dropped to his knees and picked up the object, tapping it with his knuckle. He scrutinized the ball. "What in the world is this material? It looks as glass, but the sound it makes is more like some wood, perhaps? How interesting. Oh! This looks to be some manner of hinging mechanism. Perhaps it is treasure!" He grinned at the sailor, as he located a latch on the ball, and opened it.

Anna chuckled a little from her seated position at her captain's remark. "Unfortunately I don't think that is actually how blood-loss from the head works." She replied, she felt more than just a little dizzy, even just siting down. She knew full well she had to stay conscious since he did hit her head and there was a possibility of a concussion. When Hunter waved his arm signaling he found something, or rather some one she sighed, unsure if she would be able to stand up without falling back over. Nevertheless she stood up on slightly unsteady feet and walked over to where Hunter was, using him to keep herself standing as the world seemed to spin. "Yea, I hit my head pretty hard. Sorry but you are being used to help me stay standing." She said the first part to herself and the last to Hunter, not too concerned if he cared or not. "So what did you find again?" She asked, since she hadn't been paying much attention when he had called out the first time.

Abigail frowned at Hunter's actions. He found a few new souls for their merry band of brothers, but it was the prison she wanted. She opened her mouth to ask the man how he could have any idea of what the people he found could do, but paused to hear what Anna was saying. "Possible. Possible." The redheaded captain nodded. "I wouldn't know myself. I'm a captain, not a doctor." She folded her arms and returned her gaze to Hunter before moving her eyes to wear the men were.

They didn't like a couple of salty dogs on their A-game. They looked pathetic, and incapable of surviving on their own. This made it hard for Abigail to decide if she liked them, or wanted to push them into the ocean. "Well, they definitely don't look like marines. So they've got that going for them." She cocked her head towards the men and said "come on" before she started making her way down their way.

"A hoy there!" The short redhead captain shouted as she approached the strangers. "Looks like you two've found yourself in a bit of pickle, eh. Probably thinking to yourselves, well this isn't exactly death, but he so close I can feel him breathing down my neck and the anticipation is just as bad as that final breath being pulled out of your body, am I right?" She stopped a few yards away from the men, because that's what you didn't when you didn't know if someone was on that weird desperate point when the only language was an angry growl and the only show of friendship was a buddy who wouldn't mind donating a piece of bicep muscle for a meal.

"Ahoy! Why, this day has been filled with surprises!" Eddie said, walking over, extending his free hand. "I'm Eddie Borden. I was just discussing with this here sailor how we were going to find help. I suppose you had a hand in the earlier cannon fire off-shore?"

It was only then that he saw that the egg he was holding contained a knife. He placed the egg on the floor, then took the knife out. All while keeping his other hand out.

"Ah. Hm. This is just a knife." He said, hooking it to his belt. "Just a- my knife." He smiled.

"If I could explain, cap'n, these people are incredibly useful to us right now. The man with the egg hails from Oxford, as can be inferred by his accent. However, if you look to his musculature, he is experienced in engineering. My guess is that he be a shipwright who washed up here. The other man has the stink of incense and medicine. If you take into account the outfit, he's probably a pirate doctor... I think he was part of that Ignis debacle a few weeks ago, judging by how long he's been here."

As Hunter explained this he tied a message to a rock before throwing it over to Abigail. The message read: These men need food. Get that bloody idiot to do the one thing he's good at.

Pulling a map of the island out of an unseen pocket he unfolded it on the beach.
"Right, we're here on Driftwood Bay, known as where all the junk washes ashore. The prison itself is on the other side of the island, known as the Gallows Gaol. Criminals of a bounty of thirty million beli or less are kept here, as it's too much of a hassle to transport them to Impel Down. It's about a days trek from here, which is probably why these two have managed to avoid capture. To fully crew the ship, we'll need about 10-20 people, 3-4 of which with any real ability as to prevent a mutiny. We'd also need that amount to carry back the gunpowder and cannons, which we're definitely going to need to get off this rock. Sound like a plan cap'n?"

Following Eddie, Elliot got to face with the redhead woman, who by her looks was probably a pirate "Well the closeness death makes you do, really stupid things without you even caring, thats how you end up with this" transforming his hand into one giant strip of paper, quickly returning it back to normal. "Not sure about what Eddie thinks about this, but Ill be glad to use my expertise as a medic in exchange to get off of this island, or at least for some food"

"Eddie Borden!" Abigail smiled. Her firm hand was offered in return for the man's. "Good to see we're not the only ones on the island in need of a bit of assistance." The captain took her hand back and nodded, glancing briefly in the direction of their ship's remains. "I wouldn't say we had a hand in it, exactly. It was the marines doing most of the firing. So at most I'd say we had a finger in it, but we got a lot of the finger in. I'd say it went down to the second joint." She paused to stare down at the man's egg. It was hard to hide the confusion on the captain's face. "That's a knife alright."

The captain paused to listen to her navigator's advice. She gave the man a smile and nod before turning her attention to the last man.

Abigail nodded at the paper man as she stepped aside to let Hunter's rock fall past her and bounce in the sand. "Death does that, doesn't he. I think its the way he taps his bony feet inside your chest that causes all the trouble. makes me nervous as hell." She smiled at the man and nodded at his hand. "Well, if you two would like to join my crew or not, your welcome to come with us to the prison in exchange for help getting off this god forsaken island."

The redhead put her hands on both hips to take a moment to look both of the new men in the eyes. "So about it? You two ready to get back on the sea? If so, there's no time like the present so let's head to that prison and free ourselves some possible mates." She gave a shrug. "And if not at least we'll manage to put a thorn in the marine's side."

Anna

@Ryteb Pymeroce@hozan@jynmi88@blumenk

Anna, still leaning against Hunter, had managed to the the world to stop spinning. She listened to the others speak and shook her head, an act she regretted a bit as it only brought the spinning back for a moment. In response to Abby's final statement Anna spoke up. "Before we go anywhere it would be awesome if someone would check this out." She pointed to the makeshift manage on her head. "I kinda can't see how deep this sucker is and I have no clue if the bump on the head may have cause a concussion or not. A little assistance is required." She chuckled a little bit at herself and looked to the two potential newcomers, one of which seemed rather confused about the knife in an egg her had in his hand. This was something she ordinarily would have made some sort of witty remark to but currently didn't have the energy to do so.

The cut on her head wasn’t too deep and even though she hit her head pretty hard it wasn’t hard enough to cause a concussion. Both were things Elliot would inform her of upon examination.

Alphie looked to the male who had boarded the ship and asked where the captain was. He saluted him and pointed him in the direction of the captain’s quarters before going about his usual business.

The gentle rocking of the ship had began to pick up. They must be near. That was good, Capra had always hated waiting, and he had waited enough. Who knew that finding a ship willing to head to Shipwreck Isle was so hard! Well okay, maybe the name was a little intimidating, but he had to head there, a little bird told him that the grotesquely garish ship that Dead Eye called her own had been spotted heading to this very island. Capra knew that this was his chance, finally, after so long, some action. When was the last time he had a good challenge? Was it the rookie pirate from the North Blue? No, now that he thought about it, the poor bastard wasn't much of a challenge at all. Once Capra's poleaxe heated up, it was like a hot knife through butter, or in this case, a hot axe. Man, Capra was sure glad he had his razor sharp wit, or else he'd be bored out of his mind with all the time alone he had.

Capra had been doing nothing inside a cargo ship for far too long, his mind wandered every other minute. The waiting was bad enough, but it had been hard enough convincing some "friends" in the underworld scene to give him information about Dead Eye (even he had to admit he was amazed and scared by how fast they caught wind of this tidbit of info), and then he had to procure a ship that was willing to sail towards one of the most dangerous islands around. And if that weren't enough, he was completely on his own when it came to reaching the island itself. Oh, and he couldn't forget the fact that there were marines near the island too. Avoiding them had been hard. They had to go around half the island before getting close to avoid being spotted and questioned. Dead Eye better be worth her salt, or Capra was going to be pissed. One of the sailors came down to inform Capra that they were as close as they were willing to get. That was fine, Capra could go it alone from here. He stumbled to his feet, and trudged out above deck. The ship was anchored as close to the jagged stone pillars as any sane man would be willing to, actually, scratch that. It was far too close for any sane man to anchor their ship here. That was why Capra liked this captain. Capra walked over to the side of the ship, and spoke to the captain. "My thanks for taking me this far, after i'm done with my fight against Dead Eye i'll be sure that Mister Anderson knows your debt is payed in full." The captain nodded in response, he didn't want to speak about Anderson, that was understandable. Despite how cheerful he seemed, he was a vicious businessman, often times he wouldn't ask for money when you bought something from him, only a favor. And if you didn't return the favor..his men would find you. Capra knew that from experience, he used to be one of his men after all.

Well, there was no need to delay the inevitable any further. Capra's body shifted, he was already taller than the captain, but he soon towered over the gruff man. He felt his body shift, and change. He felt horns grow from his head, a short layer of grey wool, covered by a shorter layer of grey fur covered his body. a thin layer of white fur grew on his face. His muscle mass grew, as did his legs. His feet change into goat hooves, but his hands stayed mostly the same. All of the crew looked shocked at Capra's transformation, except for the captain. That figured, he had known Mister Anderson, hanging around him too much made you used to odd things. After transforming, Capra crouched, his body tensed, and with a jolt, he leaped into the air. The force of his jump was so intense that the deck splintered. Capra briefly wondered if the captain was mad about the damage, but he quickly shifted focus to the fast approaching jagged pillar of stone. Using the force of his jump, and his knack for climbing, Capra latched onto the side of the pillar. Planting one foot on it, and holding on for dear life with one arm. He lowered his center of gravity, and lunged, kicking off of the pillar. With another mighty leap, he landed atop a nearby pillar, smaller than the first. Capra was starting to sweat. This was the worst idea he had thought of in a long time. Holy crap why would he ever think about doing this? He calmed himself down. crouched, and leaped through the air. He managed to grab onto another pillar. Again and again he lunged from pillar to pillar, using the island's greatest natural defense as his way to the shore. Perhaps someone with a keen eye could see him, but through the storm, he was likely no more than a blur.

After a while, he managed to make it to the shore, alas, unbeknownst to him, if he were to have gone in a different direction, he would have ended up encountering Dead Eye immediately, instead, he was about half of the island away from his rival who didn’t know she was his rival yet. "Okay. Okay, you're alive Capra. Keep it together." Capra patted himself down, as if checking to make sure all of him was there. "You're here. You made it, all you have to do is find Dead Eye." it didn't even occur to him that his information from the underworld information brokers could have been false. He was too caught up in the idea of finding a good fight.

"That is fair. I'd be glad to join, personally. I've just about had enough of the views here. Nothing but broken ships!" Eddie said.

"Speaking of which, you do have a ship, hopefully? Did you land safely? My own ship, the keel snapped, and, well, there's no coming back from that, leave it at that."

Looking more thoughtful, he said, "Ah, but I am guessing that yours was a rough landing too. Still, as long as it is not fatal, I should be able to get her up again, if it pleases you."

"Well, I suppose I should call you captain now. I don't suppose introductions are in order? Or should we get cracking?" He sheathed the knife in a loop on his belt.

"Aye captain, a pleasure to work with you, the name's Elliot by the way" Good things kept happening as he wouldn't die of hunger or madness on a deserted island and he has a new crew to travel with "But before we do anything..." He approached with the make shift bandage "I'll check how deep the wound is, and change your bandage to something more clean if you don't mind" taking the bandage off, he examined the wound; it was certainly not something too bad, and he had seen people get away with worse injuries before, but it still ran the risk of getting infected which could definitely escalate to a lethal problem without the right treatment. Now he could put that strange devil fruit power to use "Its not a serious injury for the moment, but to avoid infection we will replace the bandage with a cleaner one" Elliot turned a small part of his arm into a bandage and talked to Eddie "Hey! Could you use your knife to cut this- raising his arm with the small bandage clinging to it- I'm sure it won't hurt, so don't sorry about cutting it"

"Yup... just like I remember it." Hunter grinned, looking out to the peril that lay ahead, "those who be of nervous disposition around heights should stay here. Cap'n, if ye don't mind, I'm going to cause a distraction while you guys sneak in the back."

Without waiting for a response, he charged over the bridge and kicked down the door to the prison. He had some anger to work out and marines where always a good target. Undoing his makeshift bandages, he smoothed back his hair creating red streaks where the blood came off. The marines on guard were sitting themselves. This was the Crimson Brawler, one of the 10 most wanted Pirates in South Blue. Giving a demonic grin, he slammed the door behind him shut. Screams echoed from behind the closed doors, as blood spurted out, giving some clues to the NSFW violence happening inside.

Upon arriving at the prison Anna had to take a second to marvel at the design. She had heard from her guardian that it wasn't heavily guarded due to the dangerous seas around it. She had speed out for a second and when she came back to her senses she noticed both Hunter and Eddie had gone off on there own. "I suppose it's just us then." She said as she slid her mask over her face, lets see what kinda ruffians we can gather here for our crew. Which way do we wanna go, up the chains or over the bridge?" She turned to the other around her waiting for a decision to be made.

Meanwhile at the prison

Gawain rested in the corner of his cell. The sea-stone shackles had drained him of his vitality. His eyes had glazed over the plate of prison food that had been sitting near the bars for over a few hours now. He was reluctant to eat, let alone move. The entirety of his capture was a humiliating blow. His cell held no other mates to keep him company, and he was stripped in prison garbs. No longer sporting his traditional weapon and armor, which was now confiscated somewhere in the marine facility. Damn it all, this was the end of his short lived adventure.

The once proud knight had been sitting down with his legs and arms crossed, head down, and back against the wall. Every now and then he can hear the footsteps of marine soldiers patrolling the hallways. Though reluctant, Gawain caved in from his hunger and began to consume the food that had been presented to him.
