Prologue

On the clearest of nights, when the winds of the Etherium were calm and peaceful, the great merchant ships, with their cargoes of Arcturian sura crystals, felt safe and secure...



But little did they suspect, that they were pursued by pirates! And the most feared of all these pirates was the notorious Captain Nathaniel Flint



Like a Candarian zap-wing overtaking its prey, Flint and his band of renegades swooped in out of nowhere!



And then, gathering up their spoils... Vanished without a trace...



Flint's secret trove was never found, but stories have persisted that it remains hidden; somewhere at the farthest reaches of the galaxy stowed with riches beyond imagination - the loot of a thousand Worlds...

Rules

1) Respect the GMs - their word is law.

2) No God-modding, Meta-gaming or anything of the sort.

3) No killing off other characters unless permission is given by both a GM and the player.

4) If you join at least try to be active. If you struggle to keep active then please at least let us know so we can deal with the absence/lack of activity accordingly and so we do not assume you have abandoned the RP. Let the GMs know if you're going to be away from the RP for a week or more, just so we know that you haven't left and kill off your character.

5) Gore and Mature themes are allowed to a certain extent but isn't the main focus of the RP. Anything sexual must fade-to-black and taken to PMs. No-one wants to see you gettin' it on.

6) You may create as many characters as you can handle, however CS's must be approved by a GM before you can role-play with that character.

7) Be sure that you give some notice in the OOC or PM before joining interactions between other players - they might have already had the interaction planned out and may not wish for an interruption.

8) If we feel you as a person will not fit into the RP, we have the right to reject you from the RP. We may also reject any characters we feel do not fit into the RP also. This however will be down to your attitude and how you act towards others and the GM's and if you are arguing something about your character with a GM that has been rejected/asked to change.

9) Please do not continuously speed-post: For extended conversations between two people or small groups (that are done in private places so there wouldn't be a chance for others to join in the conversation), please take them to the PMs. This also goes for smut. There will be no sex scenes in the forum. Firstly because it goes against the forum's rules, and frankly no-one wants to read it.

The dwarf planet Peothea is considered as "the rat trap of the solar system". It might not look like much, but this red planet is a pirate's sanctuary: From the safe houses filled with (mostly) beautiful women to the countless taverns, it's a wonder why some just refuse to leave. Peothea can be considered as a central pirate hub, where many shady deals are made and crews are formed.

The only way into the planet's interior is to find one of the surprisingly few entrances hidden among the planet's many craters, and only the most informed navigators can find their way inside the planet. Underneath the planet's surface is where the real Peothea situates - No-one knows who carved out the planet or when, but it's just... always been there.

In it's previous life, The Leviathan was once a simple ship used for the smuggling of illegal weaponry - that was until Captain Lemaire commandeered it for her own purposes. The story of just how Lemaire single-handedly stole the ship may sound fictitious and eccentric, but both the Captain and engineer assert that it was true:

The Zurathe'i woman appeared out of nowhere riding a solar surfer, only lightly armed. The first man she approached was the ship's captain, and before he could say a word in contest, Lemaire shot him square between the eyes at point-blank range. She took advantage of the chaos that ensued, darting between confused and furious men - while appearing to have no direction, the cunning woman was actually using the men's lifelines to trip and trap them on the ship's deck.

There was one crew member that she spared, however, and that was none other than Valentin Kuznetsov: As he built the ship himself, no-one but him knew how to make the ship fly - and he was sure to make mention of that in an effort to convince Lemaire to spare his life. Surprisingly, and after careful deliberation, Lemaire untied the man and ordered him below deck before she secured her own lifeline and slashed the others.

It was then that she carried out her plan to be rid of the previous crew - she disabled the artificial gravity. The tangled crew was forced to float from the ship and out into space, all screaming for their lives. And then, The Leviathan was hers.

The Captain: Elisabet Lemaire: Leader of the crew, the Captain has absolute authority.
Quartermaster/1st Mate: Soron Tiberius: The Captain's right hand, in charge when Captain is not around, and is in charge of all supplies. It is the Quartermaster's job to punish crew members for not obeying commands.
Loremaster: Diaemus Fyrell: The ship's historian - filled with useful information on ancient civilizations. The loremaster is useful in identifying traps and dangerous situations, and his role is to keep the crew from killing themselves by doing something stupid.
Sail Master: (ONE POSITION): In charge of navigation and piloting.
Master Gunner: Felix Sanders: Leader of the Powder Monkeys, who operate on the artillery. The Master Gunner oversees the use and upkeep of the cannons, and will more often than not arm the cannon themself.
Powder Monkeys: (MULTIPLE POSITIONS) The cannon crew.
Cook: Edgar Moore: The ship's cook is in charge of preparing all meals. The cook is also in charge of all food and water supplies.
Engineer: Valentin Kuznetsov: The man who keeps the ship flying, making necessary repairs and maintaining the ship. He is also completely and utterly bonkers.
Surgeon: Med: The ship's doctor.
Cabin Boy: Felix Widget: A young man who acts as the Captain's servant. The cabin boy will run messages and errands for the officers. Because they are an apprentice of sorts, they are also expected to learn all aspects of the trade.

I'll lay a claim to the position of Ship's cook and I swear he won't lead any mutinies. None at all.

I think we all know that a ship's cook is totally trustworthy and can be depended on in all cases. I can think of no notable example wherein a ship's cook had ulterior motives or acted against the interests of a captain.

No, but seriously, my cook will have some sort of a piratical past but he won't just be long John Silver even though he's my favourite character.

Says something different every time, and from the looks of him he usually vastly overestimates. An untrained eye would probably guess he's about 8 or 9.

Mostly human. Has some species-mixing in his ancestry. His skin feels smooth and cold, almost like vinyl, and his eyes have a round, dark canine look.

Appearance
A short, cheerful looking blond with strange dark eyes. The whites of his eyes are a dark brown and he has large, almost black irises with dilated pupils, resembling a domestic dog's eyes. His skin is eerily pale, and has an odd texture.
He dresses simply in a white button down shirt, a brown vest, dark brown trousers that come to about his knees, and a red tie that he can't seem to tie properly. He owns no shoes to speak of. These are his only garments, and they are notably always covered in varying amounts of dirt and debris.
He always seems to have a mischievous smirk on his face, and several stolen items in his various pockets.
Also notable is that he walks with a bit of a limp. Probably something to do with the bullet scar behind his left knee.
