I think I may be one of the very few pokemon roleplay GMs in the world who don't make themselves win every battle or start out as the champion.

'Tis a good quality, for sure. I haven't been in a lot of pokémon RPs so I have little reference material, but knowing myself I'd probably have myself start somewhere relevant xD

Mhm. You'd be suprised how many roleplays go like this:

GM: Ok everyone has to start with a level 5 starter
Joe123: Ok I have a turtwig
GM: I have an arceus >:)
Joe123 has left the chat.
ThomasTheBomb has left the chat.
LolIFarter has left the chat.

Poliwag
Budew
Elekid
Larvesta
Riolu
The latter three are already taken, so your remaining options would be Budew or Poliwag.

Furthermore I don't think you just get to place a shiny in your team. And I do think that a training skip should be done IC if at all, same as catching pokemon.

Perhaps you could help the poor kiddo @Minnieking?
