Got accepted, so there's that. It'll be interesting to see how this character pans out; it's the first time I'm experimenting with the insanity/mental illness trope, so I'm somewhat excited :)

Also, all dem straight people. Is my character going to be the only non straight one? And this begs the question, how will the other characters react in a romantic sense to a transgender person? Would the girls see him as a girl or guy? Same for the men, how would they see him? This is just a question I ask to get people thinking about it, if they haven't already. It's important to know how your own character will interact with things like this.

Well, the number of heterosexual people is higher in general, so It's to be expected that the ratio turned out like it did.

I suppose it's realistic, having LGBTQ characters feeling alone or sectioned off, as that's sadly how it is quite often IRL.

Mhmn. For a bit his power is going to be mainly instinctual, with very little actual control. That means it'll automatically protect him where it can, but he can't call upon it at will.

Obviously Sarah's is a lot more straightforward. She just kind of need to exist to be protected and use her strength. The trouble comes when she's trying to be more gentle.

Once he learns how to use his power at will, being gentle is the next thing he'll need to learn. Taylor currently has no control over the output of force he uses with his power, and will basically give it all he has until he can fine tune it.
