AppearanceStanding at an inhumanly tall 9'7", Magnus is an imposing and muscular figure when he isn't hunched over worrying about someone else. His body is riddled with various scars from the training he did with his father and mother, and his hair has grown so long that some spills over his neck, giving the initial impression that he has a beard, when its really just some weird hair thing. His horns stick upright much-like his mothers, and are a bloody red.
Name: Magnus Eissenheoff
Race: Minotaur (Male)
Magic/Abilities/Equipment: Jotun Baal- The famed weapon of the Champion of the North, Sigurd Eissenheoff. While it possesses no inherent magical or divine properties, the craftsmanship of the
axe is excellent, and the steel it is made of feels cold to the touch. It is incredibly durable, and has survived countless battles without being chipped. It is also incredibly heavy despite being a one handed axe
Berserker's Rage- While he is an incredibly timid and reserved individual, sleeping within Magnus is the blood of the famed Dervish of the North, the man who could fearlessly charge into a monster's den and cut his way out. When put under extreme stress, either physical or emotional, Magnus' nature drastically changes from a kindhearted giant to a titan of destruction. Not only will he ignore any feelings such as pain, but he will disregard normal survival instincts and lose himself to the battle before him. It can be incredibly difficult to pull his mind out of this state, and when it does happen, it is often best to run as far away from him as possible, as he will be a bull seeing red EVERYWHERE. Not only does it make him rampage, it also lets loose his latent demonic energy, causing him to greatly increase his strength at the cost of nearly crippling fatigue once his energy runs out as well as unconsciousness. If stopped before then, he'll have sever muscle pain, but otherwise be fine.
Personality: Tall, quiet, and imposing until he opens his yap, Magnus could best be described as a socially awkward introvert in the body of a god of war. He has trouble talking to people when confronted, and will often be unable to look others in the eyes when speaking to them. He finds it easier to talk to people with his helmet on, but that consequently makes others fearful of him. He's prone to stumbling over his words and not picking up local slang or sayings, but he will often try his best to understand others. He has a deep respect for all forms of life, and unless pushed to near Berserker Rage, he will not take any being's life unless its in the case of wild game. Gentle and kind, Magnus is quite possibly the WORST berserker in history.
Background: The story of how any Monsterboy is surely one that one would expect to be interesting, but for one lone Minotaur man in a sea of Minotaureses and Holstaureses, he has absolutely no idea how he was born male. Born the lone son of two figures, one a Renowned hero of the north known as Sigurd Eissenhoeff and a Labyrinth Minotaur called Annabelle. While his quest was initially to slay her within the depths of a massive Labyrinthine dungeon, the largest the north had ever seen, he wound up falling in love with her instead...as most heroes and adventurers at the time were wont to do. Incubization followed, and in order to ensure that they wouldn't be bothered by humans and other monsters seeking treasure within the long-scarce Labyrinth, they retreated to the deepest levels of it, the way in and out known only to them and their eventual daughters. Six girls, and with how they kind of sustained off of sex, more would be on the way, if not for the sudden emergence of an anomaly in Annabelle's seventh child. A penis.
With no real idea of how they had managed one of the most impossible tasks by those of Monstrous races, the two relatively simple minded parents rejoiced at the birth of their son Magnus, believing that if he were to follow in his father's footsteps as a warrior, he very well could become one of the leading generals for the Demon Lord. However, they sadly weren't counting on that natural genetic history of Minotaurs being related to Holstaurs...namely in the sense that he seemed to be incredibly docile and kind natured, in spite of his rapidly growing strength as the years passed in those stone walls. He learned to fight, certainly, but had no real desire to. And, shirts were a problem, since he was literally too fucking huge for them. The only time he has ever entered his Rage state was when a troop of Order knights hell bent on eradicating the monsters of the Labyrinth made the mistake of harming his sister. A crossbow bolt in her shoulder, and by the time Magnus had returned to his senses, a bloodied man lay before him with his face nearly beaten into his skull, a large number of weapons scattered, some piercing his skin.
His father couldn't be prouder as the Order circulated the rumors of the strange new entity guarding the Labyrinth, while Magnus dreaded the thought of losing control so heavily. It didn't feel good to be immersed in his anger, and as such he took to trying to turn would-be monster slayers away at the door with words of warning. Many challenged him, and many found themselves fighting a one-sided battle against a man that refused to fight. Often, his sisters would have to step in and fight on his behalf. Ashamed at himself for being a coward, he would eventually cease trying to fend off visitors altogether. Feeling resigned to his fate as a disappointment to himself and his father, Magnus was willing to wallow in self pity for eternity...until a certain man chose to enter not by force, but by word and honesty. A man by the name of Bart came to recruit his eldest sister for the Guild, but she turned him down. Instead however, his father suggested that he should recruit Magnus, saying that the boy had much to learn. Honestly feeling that he didn't belong as a guardian, Magnus accepted the idea, leaving with Bart to join this new guild as a Berserker-To-Be. Hopefully he'd learn to control himself, and learn to fight people without having to go crazy to bring himself to harm something.
Other: My favorite Monstergirls are Griffons.
