Kamina followed the Eevee and Archen to the guild master's room 'to think, the next test would be given out by the guild master himself!' he was having trouble containing his excitement. "There's no doubt...this next test is going to be something truly perilous. I can hardly wait" he said in a very manly squee. The Archen locked back at him, but simply raised an eyebrow before turning back.

When they reached the guild master's room, the Archen announced them "guild master! I have..." he looked back at Kamina, as if mentally debating whether or not to even consider him as a potential candidate for the guild "...two Pokemone who wish to join the guild" After a few seconds of silence, the Archen spoke up again "um...guild master?" he opened the door to see the guild master, an Audino, with his back to the door and fiddling with something. "Um...guild master?"

"SHHHH. Not now. I'm making........TOAST!" The guild master declared as he turned around and held up a banana, and clearly not a piece of toast.

Celina, hearing what the guild master says, falls on the ground, not expecting something like that to happen. She then slowly gets up, and then looks at both the magikarp and the guildmaster.
"Uhm... " she say, really not sure how to even go and take into consideration this.
"That is... not toast... but a banana... Unless it's a attempt to make a toast banana or something?" she says, staring. Archen looks at her, then at the guildmaster.
"Guildmaster, these pokemons are here to actually join the guild!" Archen then says. The guildmaster though did not say anything.
"Guildmaster?" Archen says. Then... some sound of snoring could be heard.
"Guildmaster Arnold!?" Archen then says. Suddenly Arnold looks at both the eevee and magikarp.
"Ah yes... new friends here... you want to join right? Well... let me see." he says. He then stares at Celina and Kamina intensely. Celina stares back. What the heck was with that guy anyway? So... weird....

I was lost. No other way to describe when you pass the same surroundings at least five times in a row, or when you somehow manage to find the entrance to the place, use it as an exit, and then end up somewhere completely different and unfamiliar. After bumbling around in the forest for hours, I eventually hear a splashing noise from nearby. That must be where that magikarp is! I just hope I'm not too late... I think as I rush through the forest, not even caring if there was a path where I was heading or not. Thankfully, I didn't ram into any trees while I made my way over to the magikarp whom I was tasked with saving. I got to the clearing where the magikarp, who was flopping around and shouting for help was. The place was nice, yet, for some weird reason, the grass in this particular clearing was a yellowish color, and felt somewhat like needles under my feet. Despite that, the trio of birds that were near the magikarp simply fly away... though... it probably wasn't because of me... A new trio jumps into the clearing, and shouts "You there! You think you're saving this magikarp from the likes of Team Zan? You're wrong, and now you've got to face us!" They then announce themselves, with the sneasel starting off with "Sean!" the zubat adds "Bart!" and finally, the koffing says "And me, uh... Carl! We're unbeatable when we're together, so prepare for the worst!" Well, they were certainly energetic, and they seemed to have a type advantage against me... unfortunately, all I had was this one oran berry that I had picked up earlier.

The sneasel starts their assault with a scratch, though, somehow, it didn't seem all that strong. "Huh? Come on, I know you can do better than that." I say as the scratch simply hits me, and does basically nothing. The koffing then tackles me, but it felt more like a balloon bouncing off of me. "What... are you guys level one, or something?" I ask them. They don't give a response, and the zubat was up next with leech life, though, despite being super effective against me, it was still not all that painful. I shrug off the damage that was dealt to me, and attack the sneasel, who appeared to be their leader, with a vine whip, apparently dealing quite a bit of damage to him as he shouted in pain from it. "GAH! Uh... you... um, look, guys, we gotta go, this guy's good!" they then leave the area, leaving me with nothing more than confusion as to who they all were, and why they were so weak. I mean, I wasn't all that strong, and they were head and shoulders BELOW that. I then walk up to the magikarp, who seems to have calmed down a bit since, and hold up my badge, warping us both to the guild. "Th-thank you... I don't know what I would have done against those thugs and those birds." the magikarp says to me, apparently very thankful of what I've done. He then adds "I uh... don't really have anything to give you as a reward, though..." I then shake my head, and say "Not a problem. Just being able to take on a mission was reward enough for me." He then starts flopping back to the sea, which I actually helped him with, after all, I hardly wanted him to get into the same situation, again... I found myself carrying the fish all the way back to the Treasure Town Beach, having to cross through enemy territory as I did, but, like either a brave pokemon or a stupid one, I did just that. I then ran back to Allure Town as quickly as my feet would carry me, being chased by almost everyone there after I dropped of the magikarp. I found myself back at Arnold's guild, and, somehow, at the guildmaster's office, where an eevee and a magikarp, a red one, this time, were talking with Arnold, who was holding his favorite food, a golden banana, though, burnt for some reason... "Hey, uh, what are you two up to?" I ask the duo, sounding a little out of breath as I did.

Arnold suddenly fazed out. He smiles.
"Congratulation! Welcome to the guild!" Arnold then says. Celes just falls on the ground again at this. That easy? Archie (if I remember his name) then let out a rather large noise.
"Squaaa... Guildmaster! Your not thinking about letting people in just cause you looked at them like that!" he says.
"Archie, I made my decision, and I need to get back on making toasts!" he says, turning around.
"But Arnold!" Archen says.
"Shh...." Arnold then says. Celes just stares at this, then looks at the Magikarp.
"Guess we are in...." she then says, scratching her head a bit at how the heck they got in. She then looks at the snivy.
"Uhm... we are new guildmates... I guess..." she says, looking at him.
"Uhm... names Celes... Nice to meet you." she then says rather calmly. This was really awkward... going and getting accepted like that. She was expecting a lot of training, pulling boulders, breaking sweet.... not... a god dang staring contest or something.... She just did not know what the heck happened there. Well, no need to go and try to think about it. That guild master was really really weird.

Kamina was amazed. To be accepted just like that, surely this guild master was truly skilled. To be able to discern someone's worth so easily...it made him even more excited to be a part of this 'guild' (note to self, remember to ask what a guild is). "T-truly guild master Arnold...to be able to see into someone soul with such easy. You are beyond what I had imagined" he said while weeping manly tears "I...I am proud to be a part of a guild run by a Pokemon as amazing as you! My name is Kamina, and I shall leave my mark on history as the greatest Magikarp and Gyarados that ever did or will live"

Arnold replied with a sincere "well that sounds nice"

Archie, having a hard time comprehending what he just witnessed leaned over to Celes and whispered "is...is your friend being serious?"

Celina stares at Archie, and then sighed.
"He is... And I kinda... just met him and he fallowed me... sorry about that." she then says in a whisper to Archie, scratching her head a bit.
"He is a special one to say the least..." she says, then letting out a sighed. Seriously, that magikarp was something. He just looked at Archie and then back at the magikarp, and sighed, before looking at the snivy from before. She was really wondering who he was exactly anyway? Probably just another member of the guild.

Pokemon's Awakening

Urgh. I had gotten so bored of the same Magikarp dodging death at every peck and claw. It was as if even Hell didn't want him, letting him survive for an unusual amount of ti-

My God. I couldn't even remember how long I was out for. The sun was still up and ripping through leaves, but it was obviously in another position in the sky. I've always wondered what's above the clouds, but now would be an inappropriate time. I was getting away from my bigoted community of plants... sure, they wouldn't chase me. Not this far out here at least. However, should night come, I'd be going against whatever the Birchwood Forest felt like throwing at me; bushes intimidated me like cannons, with trees providing camouflage against the things above. Now, I felt what Davis had to go through when such a thing I made was pointed at him. Sure, it was empty, but it did get him into some sort of a fit.

Like I was saying... the sun had moved considerably. The Pidgey (or whatever Pokemon; I was hazy from tiredness) had since left, whilst the Magikarp was happily bouncing around as if nothing bad had just happened... at least, according to my time-lapse. "What the fu...?" Did that Pidgey get bored, or something? I had some clues to what had happened earlier; I was half-awake when some weird snake came along. After some words and maybe some action against the bronze Pidgey, it had left... or, it may have been something us. The problem was that I had rather a bad memory at that period, because I wasn't fully awake. What? Davis got me up at 4 am to share some of his odd contraptions from the... humen era? The point was, you didn't have good memory within the hour you got up, especially that early.

"Hey!"

I would've said that, but instead, I was slowly trailing the aforementioned walking, brown and ceramic pot. With bad memory came a short period of luck as I had witnessed a pot pass by my sleeping bush earlier, recognising it as a Turtwig despite its... well, I hadn't seen an actual Turtwig before. Despite grass-type Pokemon residing in my community, not all lived there. A Turtwig was one of the few who chose to stay away. I looked up at the sky once more, ignoring leaves as an opening revealed itself; the sun hadn't moved an centimeter, according to my memory before fainting of boredom. It was the way I was facing it that had given the illusion that hours passed, when really I had woken up about 5 minutes after sleeping.

Creepily (as much as me stalking the Turtwig), no wild Pokemon seemed to attack me or the stranger. His flicker of a badge revealed his affiliation, the group I was willing to join that would possibly help track down Davis... but, only when I had enough experience would be up to that task. Frankly, it would be too dangerous to go outside alone. This guy was new, but he managed to best some Pokemon by the looks of it. Some rough marks were evident of this, clearly not disturbing him. As for me, the most I did was doing a back-flip to another Pidgey. And slam a Caterpie into a boulder. And scare away a Scatterbug back into its darkened bush.

Eventually, signs of civilisation cut out leaves and bushes, the border of Birchwood Forest abruptly ending at Allure Town. Stupidly, I took to following him rather than the deadly path, because he went around in circles and zig-zags as I sniggered at him. Heck, I had to witness 4 U-turns before he was on track. Without realising his badge had that handy teleportation device, described in detail by some fanboy Sunkern in my old village. If I was blind, I'd do better than him navigating the place, depending on how stable the geography of Birchwood Forest was. I may had also required Davis to whisper me directions, but... he wasn't exactly around. In fact, my lack of will to find him probably increases the chance of not finding him again... at about 400%. Intimidating as that statistic was, Davis himself pointed that out to me after I feigned laziness, slumping on the sofa composed of Mareep wool. Now, I was actually rather lazy, only floating to get away from racists and boredom.

I had nearly lost track of the Turtwig, following him for an estimated 30 minutes. I wasn't going to be deterred easily, despite the nice one-story buildings around, wrapped up with market stools and large overhangs. It was a hot day, and the sun had lowered in accordance to the 'Solar System.' (Yeah, thanks Davis for teaching me 'astronomy' without proper education; you couldn't even figure out what else was outside the 'Earth.') Most were bustling, but the occasional one was ignored, accidentally imitating prejudice. Nobody really wanted to be around a Muk or Sliggoo due to general self-hygiene of most other Pokemon. They weren't as slimy, beautiful and se-

I'm sorry, what? I feared I was getting off-topic. Oh yeah: ...as them. I turned my eye away, myself probably no better than the plants at my old community. I could see the Turtwig was entering a large building by thrusting the door inwards, the whole place taller than me and giving me a headache - I had to tilt my eye way back. My pupil obviously couldn't tolerate the sun too well, despite getting adjusted to reflections of magnets and own body. Heck, it was as if the sun had the same magnetic pole as my eye. Due to this, I could only describe the lower half of... Arnold's guild; it had some pink, windows arranged as an entire row- blast it. I wouldn't be able to see for much longer.

After stupidly causing... er... fine. What happened was, I had accidentally knocked over the Turtwig, who was busy arguing with a blue bubble frog. He started rolling, and impacted a little group of Pokemon like bowling pins. One of the pins had grasped a Pokemon's fur as support, getting a shock and letting loose some berries from the pin's bag. Meanwhile, the Turtwig had somehow rolled from the floor onto a couch, causing a patient Braixen to yelp in pain as she set fire to the couch. The Turtwig quickly squashed some berries as another pin had been knocked over him again, knocking over a jug of water in climax to the Turtwig spinning out of control...

"Oh, Mac! That's the second time you've done this! Get that leg of yours fixed, otherwise you're gonna crush everyone in this floor!" Thankfully it all worked out in the end. The Turtwig's motion had knocked the jug towards the couch, extinguishing it. Some water in the air had cleaned up the floor and the Turtwig itself, despite the wet mess... Uh, never-mind that. I quickly barged into a random door for cover as the Turtwig attempted to lay blame on me. Sure, it was my fault, but I didn't want to get fired before even signing up. But, I had landed myself into even more trouble.

I had gone from the lobby to upstairs to the guildmaster's room. You could tell it was because it was actually clean, in contrast to the messy, stacked and cramped rooms of the guild. "Er... they're causing a riot down there. Don't ask." My only response, made nervously whilst I attempted to show grief. Probably my last around here.

"So, anyways, the name's Spruce, and, uh, it seems like you two just joined the guild." I end up saying to the duo nervously before I hear a crash, a fire, and then some water spilling. A magnemite then enters the room, apparently dazed, confused, or something. "Uh... hi? You seem new here. My name's Spruce, and I'm trying to start up a team... though... I'm kinda the only member, so far." I then say to the new guy, though, I say that last part a little more softly than the rest of the sentence. I didn't mumble it, but I almost said it as if I didn't want anyone else to know. Of course, I was surprised at how nobody reacted to me being Vine's brother, but I decided to keep them in the dark, not really wanting to bring that up, and then have anywhere from one to three fanboys/fangirls asking me if I knew where he was. Arnold and Archie thankfully wouldn't ask, they already knew better than that, but these newbies might actually be fans of him, or something. I then kind of wonder what happened out there, and walk over to the door just to open it a little bit and look outside of it. The place seemed to be in pure chaos with water, steam, and mud all over the place. There also appeared to be a flattened grimer a little to the left, for some reason. I didn't know how I didn't smell that thing when it was on its way here, though. Apparently, there was a braxien and a turtwig arguing about something near the now-slightly-burnt couch, and various others scattered about... what the heck happened?

Celes looks at Spruce, then walked outside to check out what was happening, and saw the damage everywhere and the chaos. What the heck happen here? One moment she was just looking at a great beautiful background before joining the guild, the next... outside it was complete chaos. What the heck happened here anyway? It was so weird. She looks over to Spruce.
"Uhm... I guess someone started a fight and everyone joined in or something... or a bomb hitted the town..." she says, extremely unsure at the moment. She looked at the magnemite, then back outside.
"I think I better not ask like you said, might be really too long to explain." She says. She then looks at Spruce, and think a bit. Suddenly though, Arnold got behind them.
"Hey! Almost forgot, you got to have these." he says. He then gives Celes and Kamina they bag and badges... but now one thing... how the heck does a magikarp wear a bag? She stares at him, then at the bag.
"Thank you..." she says. She then looks at Kamina. This is just weird if he is going to flop the bag around. She looks at Spruce.
"Uhm... maybe... maybe I could try out to join you if you want... Just to get a feel on how it is to work for the guild." she then says.

"A team, huh. Sounds like a plan! We'll go on epic adventure together, forging unbreakable bonds in the fires of adversity!" Kamina said as he fastened his badge to his body with a fin. How you might ask? Well he's just awesome like that. "I can see it now; a glorious future awaits us. And while the path there might be long and treacherous, our struggles will allow us to evolve our very souls. Strengthening our revolve for the next challenge, to get even stronger. An unending spiral...like a whirlpool. Yes, that's it! The whirlpool that leads to our future!"

Archie just stared at Kamina before saying "j-just to let you know; we have zero tolerance for unlawful substances in this guild"

Kamina preformed a fish nod "a wise stance on the subject matter"

Archie facewinged 'great...so this is what he's like not on drugs or drunk.'

Anarchy in a Cup

I wondered how I managed to get from that community to Arnold's guild... I mean, death was running after me like a cat to a mouse, only that it was clawing obstacles and hazards in my way. More like a psychotic cat, if you ask me.

Davis, you bloody idiot. You never told me how dangerous the world really was. You just had to leave, thinking a move and ability was enough to keep the reality of death away. Well, thankfully life itself stepped in to save me. I was saved from being lynched (trust me; they were going to do that sooner or later), murdered by wild Pokemon and bandits eight times, and that damn fight I had created. Thankfully, the Turtwig was busy fighting against a Braixen, and was being chased out...

"Uh, let's make it short: my name is Milloon Hall. We ought to make a quick dash to the exi-" I ducked my head as an empty cup flew over my head like a missile. "You know what, let's just get back into this room and let this whole place sort itself out." I signaled the others to get back into the guild room, apparently to the bird's dismay... "What are you looking at? As much as a view is enough to kill you now." Then, I realised he was shaking, looking like he was trying to remove all his feathers. But, I looked up... and, the cup was stuck onto his head like an impromptu helmet. "Ye... you got something on your head." I said, questioning his mentality which was probably no more sane than Arnold's.

"Sure, bu-" I start to say, however, I end up ducking just in time to dodge some random item that was thrown at me. I then slam the door shut, which was probably a good idea, as several more items were thrown just after that. "What's all that noise out there?" Archie asks me. He was trying to sound serious, but it's really hard to take a bird with a cup on his head seriously. Archie then jabs Arnold with his beak a couple of times, apparently to get him out of some sort of daze, and the two head out the door, closing it behind them. A shout or five is heard from Archie, and apparently one, albeit musical-sounding shout from Arnold, and things appear to have calmed down, considerably. "Should I check? Do you think it's over?" I ask my teammates, not entirely thrilled about possibly having a couch thrown at me for opening a door. "Anyways, um, Celes, was it? Would you mind joining my team, as well? Erm, trust me... this place isn't normally like this." I then ask Celes, still somewhat jumpy from the whole ordeal with the thrown objects. Hm... I've got this magikarp on my team, and, if I can train him enough, then we'll be nearly unstoppable... or, at least, he'll be amazing, and I'll just be decent. I think as I take a look at the other three pokemon. We'd sure make an interesting team with a magikarp, a snivy, an eevee, and a magnemite... certainly, um, diverse. I guess it would be up to me, and eventually Kamina to keep that magnemite away from ground types... odd, though, Kamina didn't exactly sound like a boy's name, of course, I wasn't ever going to say that, lest I tick off my only current teammate, and someone who will prove useful once he evolves.

Shaken and Slammed

I shivered slightly, backing away from the door... "Yeah. It actually started as soon as I came in." I added, being overly-cautious by slamming the door shut. Actually, some cracks formed within a second, because aforementioned door was already closed. Slim door with practically no details, now with a history just by feeling it around. Oh yeah, splinters would probably discourage you from doing that further. I think several got snapped or blunted by my speed and metal sphere body, like a... giant UFO to a branch. (Davis, you bloody idiot. How did you go from astronomy to UFOs? They're two completely different subjects.) "Eh... skill I learned. Don't ask; the community I come from likes lynching artificial Pokemon like myself, so this was kinda necessary." I said, up close to the door and spreading out. Really, I just over-used some magnetism there and explained it from there, but I looked like I was charging and attempting to break down the door. From the inside. Man, I took time to look at a hanging mirror, and it was already awkward when I appeared to be hugging the door. With three magnets arranged away from me like some severely bent tripod. "Can't hear much." I dropped down from the door. The suction of me sticking onto the door was clearly gone. I had obviously calmed down... and, now I was unsure of my actions.

1. Talk to the stranger.
2. Talk to the stranger.
3. Talk to the stranger.

I chose two, because everyone would figure that was the easiest option. "Yeah, I figured." I answered, forgetting I had already done so beforehand, while attempting to hold up the door by throwing myself at it. "Maybe some Turtwig did his act again." I remarked, shaken briefly when I swore I heard a knock on the door.

"Can someone unlock the door? I left my banana in there."

Well. That was somewhat smothering. "If I join, can we get out of here?" I asked.

Damn. First hour into the town. Already, I wasn't doing well. Sure, I had visited a year ago or two with Davis to find somewhere to live, but frankly he just didn't want to move. Said something about 'being our true home.' Right, you want us to return to the Holy Lands? Please note the Custards there. (It may have been Crumbles or something, but I didn't bother paying attention to Davis' historical tales.)

Celes looked at Spruce, before hearing all the commotion starting to calm down outside with Archie and Arnold speaking. She looked outside, seeing thing having calmed down and that the chaos was gone there. She sighed in relief. Seriously, it was a miracle that those 2 could calm down such a chaotic place so easily. She would have expected them to try to calm the crowd and failed cause of how agitated they were, but they actually did it. The both of them calmed a crowd of angry people like that. She was surprised that there was not more damage then there was right now. She looks at Spruce, thinking.
"Sure.... why not. Would be better then just trying to find a team and being rejected everywhere..." she says. She then froze just there, her sense reacting again as a ghastly pass by the window, flying away. She shakes her head. Always on her guards with ghost types... but it was getting pretty annoying to have to do that.
She looks at the magnemite and the fact that he kinda locked the door using his magnets. She sighed calmly. She guessed that it was a bit too much magnetic energy in the air and that what was happening. Lucky she did not have anything metallic on her right now. This ribbon did not have any metallic pins in it, only string and maybe some wood.... nothing much. Seriously, it would cause much more problems if that magnemite was at her house. The number of metal framed items in there....
"So... where do you want us to go Spruce? Any plan's now that the chaos outside subsided." she then says.

"I suggest we begin our training now!" Kamina said. "We need to ready our bodies and minds for the trials the lie ahead. Master Arnold, in his infinite wisdom, saw in my an unstoppable drive to advance, where others would have only seen 'a worthless fish.' I refuse to let him down!" he declared. Then, suddenly remembering something, he asked "oh, and before I forget; what's a guild?"

Josh had been sulking a the bottom of the pond for a while now. He had a lot on his mind at the moment, and just needed some time to think. Unfortunately, Matt soon appeared to interrupt his thoughts. "Hello? Are you still down there?"

Josh came up to the surface. "What do you want?" He clearly didn't want to talk at the moment.

"I'm aware that you aren't exactly in the mood to talk at the moment, but hear me out. I know about your past. The madman hunting you down, the girl, your old life as a farmer - I know about it all, and I believe I know a way to improve your current situation."

"How-"

"You've been sending telepathic messages in your sleep. I've been recieving them, and I believe many others have heard them as well." He put Josh in a bucket filled with water. "There's somewhere I need to take you."

"This is really degrading."

"It's the only mode of transport for you at the moment."

Matt had a point. Still, it looked pretty strange. A Reuniclus carrying a Skrelp around in a bucket isn't something you see every day.

"I suppose we could leave... but, why?" I ask the magnemite. I then turn to my new teammate, and say "Well, I was kind of hoping to do another mission today, but it's kinda getting late." I then yawn, and add "Too bad we can't get to training, I'm drained from getting lost, er, I mean, thoroughly exploring every inch of an ever-changing forest... let's go with the second thing I said." After that, I simply head out the door, where I find Arnold threatening the braxien with a roll of tape, and Archie simply glaring at a shaking, scared turtwig... well, I guess that's one way of calming things down. I then hear that all-too familiar bell, signifying that dinner was ready to be served. Of course, I decided to take my time, just because I didn't want to get trampled by the crowd, who was suddenly much faster now that food was waiting for them. Sheesh... I mean, what are they, a bunch of munchlax? Come on, the food isn't THAT great. I think as I walk over to the dinner table, which was located on the upper floor of the guild, which, thankfully, was where I was at right now. I checked back to make sure that everyone else was following, well, save for the magnemite, who was probably going to make his way to the door as soon as he realized that everyone else was at dinner... seemed odd that he didn't want to be seen, but, that wasn't really any of my business. Once I got to the table, I nearly slip on something... that something turned out to be a perfect banana, whose peel was discarded by none other than Arnold himself. Arnold had about five of them, and everyone else just had some random thing or another, which I could barely make out from the lightning-fast paws and claws that dug into whatever it was they were eating.

Celes fallowed Spruce as they headed to the dinner hall, and going to go eat. She looked at the food, and stared at it. She was not sure what she could even take anyway... She looks at each of them, and sighed. Nothing was really interesting her that much. She then started to collect some various food, thinking a bit. Just then she looks at the little bag she had brought with her while running away, and gets out some flat berry bread. A family recipe that was given generations after generations. Hey... with that many berries, might as well find a use to them if your gonna feed your family. She then slowly start eating her bread, feeling herself slowly filling up. Maybe with those fruits she could make something special some times later.... Uhm... fruit salad with some oran juice as dressing.... They always said that her family was a bit weird cause they usually cooked strange things for guest and such.... Unfortunately, if she tries this here, they migth just appoint her as the grounds cook or something and then not many adventures to be had.... or more like she would need more inspirations over time. She continues to eat, thinking. Spruce did seem tired... well, at least that what she was seeing. Lucky she did not slip on the floor though. She then finish her bread and looks at everyone that was still eating. One good thing about that bread: It made her quite awake and filled up good. Tonight she might go and train in the background of the guild or something.

Wild Damn Arceus

Oh, I wish I could leave the place. I'm not adjusted to town-life, especially the hastiness of it.

Already, I was only half-aware of my actions. "What?" I asked. "Huh?" I answered. "Alright...?" As if that wasn't confusing enough, I was heading in the opposite direction of the door. I passed light-brown walls of wooden planks, 100% lumber from the Birchwood Forest. From the top of my peripheral vision, it was obvious electric lighting was used, as they had since banned the use of light-illuminating Pokemon out of Pokemon rights... the lighting was eerie and collided with the nature of the place, and could hurt your eyes if you stared at it for too long. Despite witnessing flame-emitting Pokemon obviously shrugging themselves by walls by leaning, the place didn't burn down. Save for half a couch. I didn't think about fire damage any further, when an obviously heavy Pokemon managed to stomp the floor without any sort of damage caused.

In fact, I was following the Arceus damn Snivy through some doors, going pass more varieties of Pokemon. The occasional one would stumble onto him like a reporter to a 'celebrity.' I didn't know why, since I was barely aware of anything that was going on. "Spruce...?" I asked, wanting confirmation as I had my usual, somewhat ringing voice. Sure, I was going to join so I could find Davis, but... was it really going to be fun?

Yes. Yes it would be. At least until our deaths. "What's with this place? Seems a bit wild."

"Ah! Here we are."
Matt had stopped outside a large Audino-shaped building. Josh looked up at it. "What's this? Where are we?"
"This is Arnold's Guild. It's where adventurers go to-"
"Wait. Adventurers?" Josh shook his head. "No. I'm not going in there. I know what you're trying to do, and it's not happening."
"It will allow you to become stronger. Strong enough to defeat the one who's hunting you."
Josh was suddenly pulled out of the bucket and placed on a metal grate. "What are you doing?"
"This is for identification purposes. Listen." Josh couldn't hear anything. Matt picked him up with telekinesis and put him back in the bucket. "Odd. They don't seem to be here." He then looked up at the sky. "Oh! It appears to be getting late. Perhaps they're eating dinner currently, or sleeping." He turned around, and headed back. "No matter. We'll come back tomorrow."

Once they arrived at the house, Matt put Josh back into the pond. "I know it was wrong of me to try to force you to join the guild. I would like you to consider what I said, though."
Josh sighed. He hated to admit it, but what Matt said back there was right. It might take a while, but the guild will make him strong enough to beat Zane. He couldn't travel on land, though, and since most of the places he'd be exploring are on land, it would be difficult. He would have to rely on others most of the time. He fell asleep while thinking about it. Morning would be the best time to decide.
