Lydia opened her mouth and was about to make a retort when the words died on her lips at the sound of the thunder in the distance. She froze, eyes wide. She slowly got up and walked over to where she had heard his voice. She curled up next to him, fingers barely brushing against his pants to reassure herself that he was there. She was fine for a few minutes but soon a loud crack of thunder rang out and the girl jumped, letting out a yelp as she dove against Jason's chest and buried her face against it, body trembling and cat ears flat against her head.

Jason held Lydia as she hide her face in his chest. "Don't worry. Nothing is going to hurt you. I promise." Jason says softly as he looks at the small girl hiding against him

Lydia just shook her head and pressed closer to Jason as she squeezed her eyes shut and grasped his shirt in her fists. She curled against him, trembling as more thunder boomed and lightening cracked.

Jason held her through the night and the storm pounded away at them. Eventually he opened his eyes and saw the girl had fallen fat asleep against his chest abs was still there in the morning.

Lydia slowly surfaced from the clutches of sleep though she kept her eyes closed, too content to move. She snuggled close to the warmth she was pressed against and nuzzled her face against it, not wanting to move. As she laid there she felt herself start to doze off again.

Jason looked at the girl who seemed poetry content, and that made him rather uncomfortable, so he gently shook Lydia until she woke up from her sleep. Jason wasn't entirely sure why he did that, but it felt like the right thing to do to him at least. So he did it.

Lydia blinked her eyes open and was meet with the usual darkness. She laid there for a moment before it struck her; the warm thing she was pressing against was breathing, moving. She jerked away, eyes wide as she remembered how she had clung to him last night during the storm. Her pale cheeks tinted red and she scooted away with a mumbled "sorry".

Jason looked over he girl. "Its fine." He said softly before leaning back against the wall. Considering what kind of joyful torture was in line for them today.

Lydia sat there quietly, wondering why in the world she felt so embarrassed. He was just a boy for Christ's sake, there wasn't anything to be flustered over. However, seeing as she had tended to avoid people since her accident she really didn't know how to relate well to anyone. She was used to depending on herself and besides, people always dissapointed you in the end anyway. At least the people Lydia has known has. She stared forward, her white eyes now having a permanent blue glow to them. It didn't help her sight any but it did make her seem less human. The cat ears and tail didn't really help either. Speaking of furry appendages. Lydia reached up and hesitantly began running her fingers over the fuzzy triangles. She wondered idly if they were white like the rest of her hair.

Jason began looking around the room as if he heard something. Then like a wave of force hit him he fell backwards, hands over both his ears with an'obvious look of pain on his face before he slowly rose again. "They're back. The voices. Apparently those assholes aren't as good as they pretend to be. I... I got at least some of my psionic abilties back. I know I'm telepathic again..." he said then a pebble flew across the room and hit the wall hard enough to shatter. "And Telekintic. I think that's all I'm capable of on that note." He said with a small grin before turning his attention back towards the girl. "Get up. Get behind me, they're coming and they grabbing whoever they see first." He says quickly

Lydia enhanced hearing picked up him falling backwards and she heard a very faint hiss of pain of leave him. She turned, raising an eyebrow as she opened her mouth to ask him what was wrong but he beat her to it. Her hands shot up to her ears, half-hoping that they had disappeared but nope, they were still there. She heard something shatter against the wall and she jumped in surprise, turning towards the noise even though she couldn't see what it was. She heard him order her to get up and she crossed her arms and glared at him. "I will not hide behind you like a scared little girl. I don't need your help!" She snarled at him, defiantly remaining seated.

Jason glared at her and moved her behind him with his teleknisis as the door opened up. He launched himself at the guards as they entered. His robotic arm slammed into the first man's face and killed him, with he boy using his telekineisis tearing the ohers apart. Though men'wih guns were on their way.

Lydia let out a hiss of anger and she thrashed in the air, swiping claws in what she hoped was his direction however she didn't manage to hit him nor get herself down. She began cursing at him, spitting out ever swear word she knew. She froze when screams filled the air and she wondered if the boy was going to town on them. "Put me down damn it!" She screeched, writhing more in the air. Suddenly she was grabbed out of the air and she yelped at the cold press of metal against her temple. "Stop or I blow her head off!" The guard, who seemed to have managed to slip around the boy shouted, eyes fixed on Jason. Lydia's eyes narrowed and suddenly the guard screamed in pain and fell to his knees clenching his head. The girl dropped lightly onto the balls of her feet and darted to where she heard the gun drop, scooping it up and holding it against her chest. She was about to call out the boys name but realized a little bleakly that they had never exchanged names.So she backed against the wall and pressed against, all the noise confusing her.

Jason spun towards the sound, but just in time to see the man drop to the ground. He looked over to where the girl had backed against wall, nodded then turned back towards he door. Where he found a very large pistol to his head. Before the boy could react, the soldier pulled the trigger and put a hole through Jason's head. And the boy fell backwards and laid there, lifeless.

Lydia let out a yelp as a shot rang out. She heard something hit the floor and she gasped, mostly sightless darting around. It was quiet and she didn't know if there any more soldiers alive or not. She inched forward, hesitantly going forward. She heard a brief sound of gunfire, a short flash of pain and then everything went dark. Her body crumpled to the floor next to Jason's now fully sightless eyes staring towards the wall.

As Jason strode out of the forest, breathing air for the first time in 6 months, he looked around, amazed at how the world had rapidly changed. As he looked at the facility where he had previously died, he rubbed his arms. Remebering how they had cut his off and replaced it with a metal one. Thankfully the boy had gotten his normal arm back since then. As he stared at the mechs patrolling and all the new tech. Jason pieced together what had happened since then. He had to get inside.

Echo sat curled up in her cell on the bed, bruised and cut up from the recent experiment. They had wanted to see if you could still summon her Keys under duress so they shocked, hit, bruised and cut her, all the while making her summon. She was tired both mentally and physically and she wanted nothing more than to fall into deep sleep, to escape for just a little bit before the events repeated themselves again tomorrow. She sighed, her white staring blankly at the wall as she drifted off into a trance; not fully asleep but not fully awake either.

Jason quickly shadow travelled into the room in this entire building he still knew, his old cell. In it he found a girl who was laying on her bed. He had made a slight sound upon entering when he founf that the floor had been dropped 2 feet and stairs added near the door. So it might disturb her.

Echo jerked at the sound, almost falling off the bed. Her white eyes scanned the room and she jolted back at seeing a male around her age standing in the corner. She tensed and acted on instinct, thrusting her hands towards him.

"Open Gate of the Archer, Sagittarius!"

Her eyes blazed a forest green as a golden key appeared briefly in front of her. It glowed before there was a flash and Echo was holding a bow and arrow, kneeling on her bed. She pointed in between his eyes, gaze fearful."W-Who are yo and what a-are you doing in my room?"

"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to avenge the damned who have died. And one my former Queen. I am not, however letting you stay and suffer through what me and her had to during the final months of our lives." Jason says as he blows off the door. Sending it slamming into a wall.
