I'm new to the forum and would like to get right to the point. I'm issuing an open challenge to anyone who would like to fight me. I'll post up my fighter once i have a volunteer, so, any takers?

sorry, as I said I'm new, so i don't know much about your ranking system, so I guess till i learn a bit more, any level is fine. and as for multiple fights, the more the merrier. i was thinking of having more a battle royal if more than just one person joined, but it's upto you guys.

Topic with arena tiers

All the tiers are listed on the first page. The system had 10 tiers in the past, but for this particular Multiverse, only 8 were used, distributed between 3 power rankings: low, intermediate, high. The two former have 3-sub tiers, while the latter has only 2, the rest void, considered too opwerful for consistant gameplay.

If i were to choose, i'd suggest intermediate using characters, 2nd sub-tier, as their power requires less expirience to regulate and handle fairly, yet is still satisfying for those who fancy superhuman might.

Unfortunately, i cannot participate in a battle, as i leave after the 18th, going to the countryside, so i will have no acess to the internet. Will return after a week, but still, neither do i want others waiting on me, nor do i like to draw a character from a fight before solid victory or defeat. I will be up for a 1v1 though; wether it will be a relaxed, slow fight with long breaks, or a fast-paced blitz with 3 and more posts a day from each side - you decide, though the latter is prefferable: it will quickly get you acustomed with arena fighting, plus you just won't get the chance to be bored with it. ;D
Mind you, i, alas, have seen too often how players manage only under a dozen posts before abandoning the fight, so i do have a point there.

Physical attributes
His speed is clocked at roughly four times that of a peak human, with reflexes to match.
His strength is four times that of a peak human, with a stronger body to withstand this strength.
He can see clearly in the dark.
His vision is superb, more than twice as acute as any human, and his reflexes are four times as quick as a result.
He can hear heartbeats from roughly 100 feet away, when concentrating.
He can hear twice as well as a normal human.
He can smell blood from 100 times the distance of a normal human.
He has light regeneration, wounds etc can be healed by drinking blood.
Though he can feel pain, he has a greater resistance to its crippling effects and can outright choose to ignore it if he wills.
He has short claws, with nails that are almost impervious to damage and as sharp as steel daggers.
His bite inflicts a foe with the vampiric curse, though consumption of his own blood is required to finish the transition. In the short term, it can cause significant nausea and minor paralysis in any foe, strange visions, and eventual transition into a familiar, barely human.
His body is very resistant to frost, poisons and diseases, due to being undead. He is however doubly effected by holy magics.

Learned Skills: Vampires have an innate ability to carry out a wide number of superior physical acts. Expect anything humans are capable of from the vampire, be it superb swordsmanship, acrobatics, and other skills applicable to ending the lives of mortals.

Weaknesses: The sun hurts his eyes, and depletes his abilities to half their normal state. If he has not fed within 12 hours, he burns in the sun.
Bright lights damage his eye-sight for a short time, almost like a flash bang effect.
Being stabbed in the heart is instant death.
Having his head cut off is instant death.
Fire is twice as effective against him as an ordinary human.

Powers: As an ancient, Vanarus has greater resistance to the sun than most of his kind, but it is matched with a greater blood lust. He also has the ability to enter a mist like form, and burst forward about 10 feet (which can be extended). This move can only be used when the sun is either obscured by a cloud, or in the shade. Using it over ten feet hardly affects him, twenty fatigues him, and thirty cripples him for a short time, and leaves him completely worn out. In his mist form, he is completely impervious to physical damage.

Vanarus also has access to a wide variety of vampiric magical abilities he seldom uses, out of his own sadistic sense of superiority.

Shadow Cloak - Relatively effective invisibility, most effective in darkness or low light levels, comparably less effective in lighter conditions.
Muffle – Prevents footsteps from being heard, takes very little magic or concentration.
Silence - Prevents an opponent from talking or casting spells, it is launched as a green hex which flies as fast as an arrow. The time it lasts is usually very brief, only five or ten seconds depending on an opponent’s mental constitution.
Seduce – Basic vampire ability, coerces someone to do as the vampire wishes, usually works on mortals at close ranges, can be resisted by PC’s.
His other powers are many, but don’t expect to see them, Vanarus doesn’t rely on magic.

Weapons: The Chalice.
The Chalice is a dark Rapier, its history tarnished with blood and misery. A fact reflected on the blade itself, which is stained with a line of blood, from where it was forged from the ashes of the last ancient. The most curious thing perhaps, is that the hilt of the blade is reversed. Forming a cup from which the blood spilt by the blade runs into.

The blade itself is 100cm in length, and resistant to all forms of damage. It has been tested in the past, hammered, melted, burned and smashed. It could not be tarnished, it could not be destroyed. It could only be hidden.

It weighs roughly 2kg.

Any wound opened by the Chalice is instantly purified, the blood runs clear, and constant. The wound will take days to close naturally, unless the afflicted has some form of regenerative magic they are doomed to leave a trail of blood.

Clothing: Vanarus is often seen wearing dark nobleman’s attire, with a dark cape lined with crimson red. It offers little protection, for he has his speed and reflexes to account for that inconvenience.

Equipment: Vanarus sometimes carries with him a small container filled with blood, to heal minor injuries in a long fight, and to revitalize his flagging strength. However, if he opens a wound on his opponent, he can easily drink from the Chalice.

Height and weight: 5'9" 66kg

Abilities:
- Agent training: Osan has been training since he can remember. He is quick and strong, with every muscle on his body perfectly developed. He has very good combat instincts, barely having to think in combat. He has a wide grasp of martial arts, and uses his pride and joy, a mixed style he created with roots in jeet kune do, muay thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He tires slowly and moves quickly. Osan is also a trained marksman and can hit an average human anywhere he wants, even if they're moving.

Equipment:
- Chameleon Drive: Creates a heat haze like effect around Osan. Osan's outline becomes blurred and broken, while parts of his image are super imposed on the surrounding area. This is disorientating for foes, and makes him particularly hard to target at range. While the effect is not nullified in close quarters combat, it becomes less extreme.

-Metal Mantid: A small robot in the form of a preying mantis. It moves at a high speed and is equipped with a powerful taser, which if landed cause the targets muscles to uncontrollably contract and relax, resulting in a strong paralysis effect while they remain in contact with the taser. The mantis is small and relatively fragile, meant for distracting rather than killing opponents. While inactive it takes the form of a metallic sphere which 'unfolds' at the flick of a switch Osan keeps on his person.

-Apex Pistol: A large, heavy pistol which can hold up to 6 rounds. The rounds are high velocity, travelling above the speed of sound and have a relatively large range, especially for a pistol. There penetration is their main feature and special rifling within the barrel, as well as a unique firing mechanism means that they could pierce full plate armour. The pistol must be reloaded after 6 shots.

-3 Photogrenades: Each photo grenade explodes 3 seconds after the pin is pulled. The grenade causes an extremely bright light, which can not only blind if looked at directly but will also burn the skin of those caught close to it. The real power however is in the gas they release on explosion, which cause vivid visual hallucinations if inhaled.

-3 Blast Grenades: Grenades which explode 3 seconds after the pin is pulled. They cause an explosion with a small impact radius, but high kinetic damage.

-Boot Knife: By pressing a button located on his wrist a combat knife extends from the toe of Osan's left boot.

-Flick Saw: A small saw can unfold at the press of a button on Osan's rist. The saw is located on his right hand and easily tears through flesh, bone and armour. It is about the size of a knife.

-Combat Armour: Lightweight armour, with average bullet protection.

Race: techne
A race of anthro lizards that are the dominant spices on a planet rivaling the size of Jupiter. Spending most of their lives in the trees or water covering the planet they are normally twice as agile and flexible as a human, helping them hunt with the superior sense of smell that comes with their forked tongue, though they have slightly weaker hearing their ability to mentally see the scents in the air around them helps hide it. The higher gravity on their home world also makes them stronger and faster in lower gravities, also giving them denser, harder to break bone structures

Appearance:
Build: 6 foot 4 with a moderate build, slightly visible muscles

Hair: none

Eyes: pale, cloudy, yellow

Distinctive Features: covered in black scales with a pale creamy yellow underbelly. he has a strong tail and faintly visibly tribal scars all up his left arm, over his shoulders and on part of his back, his right arm covered in faint burn marks.

Clothes / Armour: normally he just wears a pair of shorts and occasionally a t-shirt. He also has a small single strap, fabric bag where he stores his swords. inside the bag is a small pocket dimension that allows him to store anything he can fit through the opening on the bottom of the bag as well as repairing anything that is damaged over time. (he can instantly clean his swords by putting them in the bag one post and pulling them back out the next post) it's linked to him meaning that only what he requests using his shadows comes out when he opens it.

Fighting Style:
style: max likes to utilize both hands, his hand like feet and his tail in combat, normally trading where his swords are mid attack and moving both fluently and acrobatically to attack from all angles rapidly

Weapons: four grass-cutters of varying length made by and for his people, each can redirect or absorb energy based attacks while the rare metal remains near indestructible with only one known weakness, a mineral found in the raw ore of the metal. forever sharp after it's forged, and able to transform into a stronger form when held be someone it is compatible with. due to the not fully known properties of the unique metal (can wield all four at once but only the one that's in second form if ones released unless possessed.)

lith: the whole two foot blade, hilt and sheath are various shifting shades of blue and green with specs of red and yellow.
second form: lith is able to change into an 8 foot lance made up of self-rotating sections covered in petal shaped 'teeth' making the lance basically a giant drill bit. also covering up to the shoulder in what looks like leaves and flowers but is actually more blades forming armor plating on the arm
second form power: able to manipulate and generate wood in various ways (no effect on player controlled wooden things)

digan: a four foot long black blade with a blood red cutting edge, mixed red and black sheath and hilt.
first form power: able to mix metal around him into his shadows, combining them into 'dark steel', meaning it makes shadows unaffected by light)
second form: the blade melds to the wielders arm, forming into plate armouring that seems to be covered in dark purple smoke and large bladelike claws.
second form power: able to manipulate and form metal using the minerals around him (doesn't work on other peoples weapons)

geth: only 6 inches long, purple with shades of black and grey through it, the sheath and hilt.
first form power: creates its own poison, a lethal mix that brings pain and soon death. it also makes the antidote. (takes five turns to kill)
second form: it can change into a large blade with a central free-floating grip surrounded by a ring the blades spin around. both ends split into two and turn, forming a sort of rounded H shape, the grip able to spin the blade around it and provide its own momentum making it able to move more like a self-propelled wheel, defending itself with retractable spikes around the grip.

shina: four foot long, red, orange and yellow with a blue and purple grip, this blade is said to be the solid form of fire itself.
first form power: can manipulate and absorb fire and heat (only for blocking and deflecting)
second form: in it's second form it becomes living fire, creating flaming armor up the wielders arm that holds the ever changing ball of fire that can become any weapons the wielder has knowledge of, energy based or not. (only used in 'possessed' form and causes harm till the fight ends due to burn damage. more severe the longer it's in second form)
second form power: generate near limitless amounts of fire from it's being, able to focus this fire into solid forms.

Abilities:
tribal: in max's childhood years he learned the ways of nature, and the temporary manipulation of natural energy into solid matter.

bow: max is able to summon a black energy bow, the arrows form whenever the bowstring is drawn and each arrow has a small explosion when it hits a target. (max 6 arrows per 3 turns, each arrow has a 2 post cooldown)

blade: a small energy blade that forms out of his palm, used more for more general tasks this blade can easily be used to kill if needed. (only used when not holding swords)

spear: a long 8 foot energy spear, mainly for one time use this spear is launched out of his arm and has a maximum range of 50 feet. can be grabbed and used as a normal staff till it wears out (only get three and they only last two turns)

net: a one use energy net that temporarily paralyses whatever it touches (lasts one turn, second turn anyone effected starts getting feeling back ((hurts a bit and moves slower)), third turn they're back to normal)

shadow: due to the events mid-way through his teens max can use another more powerful form of energy, learning how to use the darkness around him (able to mix abilities for combo's, but only two at any one time. and he can control only as many shadows as he can make out of the shadows around him, using some of the shadows own 'spirit' to help make it easier to control multiples at once)

vision: allows max to see from the shadows around him, giving him no blind spot and greater attention to the world around him (his only way of seeing and used for both sets, he's blind otherwise)

armor/mist: max is able to pull the shadows around him, solidifying them into armor or a shield stronger than most metals or melding with them to become one himself.
(armor is strong but not un-breakable and is made of 'dark steel' which is made by using digan's first ability. turning into a shadow is used to avoid otherwise fatal attacks, avoid attention or maneuver for an attack. both have a one turn cooldown after use and only last for the turn they are used in)

summon: creating living creatures he can control out of mixed shadows and metals around him, the more shadows the more he can either make or the stronger what he makes will be (in a dark room in the middle of the night.......he could either make one omega strength creature, or billions upon billions of weak ones that just swarm the target but in a sun bleached, empty car park....he might be lucky to make a retarded dog)

vocal: he is able to speak to and hear the shadows, enabling him to (as a drastic action) attack the shadow, breaking whatever is attached to it as it breaks (only used for a finisher or in his ((almost never used)) final form)

attack: creating large spikes, blades, walls or arms that come out of the shadows and attack, made stronger by infusing them with metal using nightscar. (basic attacking for max, and again it depends on the shadows around him. if there's no shadows he might stab you through the feet but that's about it)

substitute: vanishing from the spot but leaving a clone of himself to take the hit then die. clones only have a half live of a few seconds at most. (can only use for near un-dodgable attacks)

'possessed' form: his eyes turn black and his body seems to give off a blackish dark purple smoke, his body becoming like armor (increases all shadow powers by 10 X, only lasts 10 turns and needs 3 to charge but is only used when he is extremely emotional or about to die. also leaves him on the verge of death and completely defenseless when it wears off)

Biography:

Personality: quiet and casual normally, only really choosing to talk when he has something to say....or feels like being a smart ass.... he's smart and cunning, liking to learn other people while only using as much power as he needs to when fighting. when driven hard in battle he tends to touch on insanity with his fighting style.

Background: born within a tribe of his own kind max took to his role naturally, being high born within the tribe and the next in line for command of the warriors he would spend great amounts of time hunting and training. it was when he was still no older than 16 that he encountered a stranger from another race in his hunting grounds, he approached the intruder quietly, wanting to learn why they were beyond the borders of their own people’s land.
The stranger mistook his curiosity for an attempt to kill them and threw pollen from a dangerous plant in his face when he went to speak, catching him off guard and leaving him blind and in pain as the rest of his hunting group came in response to his cries. They easily captured the intruder and took it and max back to the village, the intruder was executed by the queen’s order. it was months later that max started being able to see through the shadows and gain his powers, taking up arms in the defence of his home against a race bent on taking advantage of the natural resources of the world.

As the war went on he learned more, using his power to avenge his fallen clan mates. till yet another part of him died, his soon to be life mate died in his hands, sending him into a blind rage that near cost him his life. Calling on all his power he slaughtered anyone who stood in his way, enemy or not until he finally passed out. When he awoke he was banished, deemed too dangerous to the tribe. He later learned that they lost, his home world left charred and dead, and himself the only known survivor of his race.

he was banished from the tribe, feared to be possessed. the tribe was wiped out in less than a year after, leaving him, as far as he knows, the last of his race.

Adrian"Angel"Sidornis

gender: male
race: nephilim(half demon)
appearance: 6'3 and 195 pounds of pure muscle and hatred. Adrian is tan and has blazing green eyes and a muscular body. His arms and chest are covered in scars of all shapes and sizes. He has two white angel wings which he keeps folded neatly and hidden behind him. his canine teeth are elongated and his eyes have dark circles under them. he has tattoos of demonic runes across his chest and back. His hair is medium length and brown he lets it fall to one side over his eye and the other side is swept back.
clothing: His clothing is a pair of ripped jeans and combat boots and he is shirtless proudly displaying his chest and tattoos. around the boots and the lower part of the pants there are gleaming silver chains with the crosses engraved on the links.
weapons: He summons ethereal energy from the planes of hell and forms it into whatever shape he desires be that a weapon or armor(the color of the energy is black with red in it). He can also mold this energy into armor that weighs nothing but is more protective than chainmail. This is not his only weapon in his arsenal though he can also summon multiple swords and each has a different name and history.
wrath- This sword is a longsword with an extraordinarily long yet lightweight blade. It has a ridge of rubies running along the side of the blade and it has the ability to break through an enemies guard by making its strikes extremely fast.
greed- This greatsword is made entirely of gold with the exception of its tungsten core making it extremely dense and heavy. This sword allows the user to generate massive amounts of energy with extremely slow strikes.
pain- this is a rapier with four blades positioned in a cross and all have serrated edges. The ability of this blade is its ability to make an opponent feel searing pain wherever they were cut be it even a nick.
"the black blade"- this sword has no name and is known only as the black blade. It is a katana that Adrian wields with one hand and has white wrappings along the hilt that cut anyone but him that tries to grip it. The weapons blade is a midnight black that seems to draw you in the more you stare at it. This I no ordinary sword though it also is a sentient being and can be wielded in Adrian's off-hand and it will defend him of its own free will that way his mind is able to focus elsewhere
Abilities: He is able to fly with his wings, he can summon and manipulate ethereal energy, he can summon any of his swords to his hand at will, and finally he can consume the souls of those he defeats.
personality: Adrian is vain and deceitful and is more than a little psychotic, however he also has mercy and he will never kill a woman or a child(this earned him his nickname "Angel" as a joke)
background: He is a nephilim born of a daemon father to a mortal mother. Unlike most nephilim he survived childhood without his soul being consumed and is now more powerful than even his own father(which demon sired him is unknown). He was tortured by demons as a child and thus went insane and is to say the least sadistic and messed up in the head. That being said Adrian will not kill an opponent who fought with honor or if they are defenseless, and Adrian refuses to kill any woman or child even going out of his way to protect them. He is more powerful than any other nephilim has eer been known to be since he can actually manipulate the forces of hell this has made many speculate that Lucifer himself may be his father but it is unknown whether that is true or not.
