Got to replaying inFamous 2

I've forgotten how big of assholes the enemies are in this game. Pretty much flawless accuracy, and dumb as rocks, meaning they'll fire an RPG at me from a foot away killing me instantly.

I knew I should have changed the difficulty to normal after the game set it to hard based on my performance during the first mission. Which I think is silly anyway. Why would you judge the player's ability from their performance during the first, and easiest, mission in the game? Git gud, Suckerpunch.

The core enemies in the first area are rednecks, so good accuracy but poor foresight seems accurate.

Good game overall. I wish there was more diversity with the Karmaic abilities, though. Every good ability is just some variation of throwing ice at people, and the only monsters you can create on the evil side are the weakest variety. Imagine how awesome it'd be to be able to summon all of the different kinds of lake monsters.

You'd think being such proficient gunslingers, they'd know not to pop off an RPG at a guy that is close enough to punch them.

And I agree with the Karmic abilities. I would have liked some sort of AOE flash-freeze ability which would let you shatter enemies hit by it.

They're fiercely loyal, so we could say that they're aware the explosion will kill them, but do it anyway.

Doesn't one of the grenades have that effect? And one of the big karma powers?

If they do, I can't quite recall. It's been close to a year and half since I last played.

Got far enough into the game to answer that question.

One of the Ionic powers is pretty much exactly what I described. You throw out a big ice burst that freezes everything in front of you.

Evil Karma is so much more fun.
