I don't know about this one, but the stats for WiR 1900 stretched into the 2020s.
If there is a limit here but WiR 1861 is still very popular, the stats could always be adapted and stretched on into the 20th century. Either that, or we leave it to die and break out another WiR. :P

I will happily hand over a unified Germany at the end of this to whoever wants it.

There is no set end date, but it won't stretch on forever either. Assuming it doesn't die the same death most RPs suffer from, it will end once it feels as if the era has changed. Ie, technology and zeitgeist have rendered the stats obsolete. Once that happens, I will end the RP with a nice post detailing how each nation develops through the next era, then I'll take a short break, then I might start up a new one.

I don't expect it to go past the late 1880s.
