L'esta smiled proudly at seeing the satisfied reaction of their guests. It was nice to know that all of their hard work in maintaining that tree was paying off, especially if some aliens appreciated the fruit as well. Shaking his head the Captain bit into his fruit again, gesturing to the tree behind him idly. "It's a secret as far as I know. Even if they knew though I can't imagine a reason that they would attack us for it. It does help clean the air down here, but aside from that there's nothing special." There was the fact it bore a unique fruit, but that was hardly worth fighting over. Hell, if the two peoples were on better terms he was willing to bet they would share with the people above ground. "It wasn't hard to do really, in fact we had very little influence in it at all. This tree came up on its own, and we were going to cut it down initially. When we found out how unique it was though we just couldn't do it, and so we built this structure around it to keep it safe. Then more and more plants sprouted up, and you can see how the rest turned out."
"It really is amazing. I never would have thought a tree like that would be able to grow..." Yumi mused, biting into the fruit again. The amount of nutrients a plant that size would need would be incredible, not to mention in order to share it with the other plants in its system. Maybe that weird energy they kept seeing had something to do with it. There was so much mystery on this world, she wanted to learn more about it so badly. Polishing off the last of her fruit she glanced down at the core in her hand, not too sure what to do with it. Looking up and seeing L'esta simply toss it into the bush she did the same, smiling happily. "Thank you for that, it was delicious." Maybe they could get a few to bring back to their friends, if allowed. Though if these people didn't want anyone stealing their fruit she could understand why not.

"You're very welcome, I'm glad I could share some with you. It's the least that can be done after all." L'esta wanted to wait for Shu to finish before leaving the gardens, but through one of the doorways he could see a number of the royal guard approaching them. Accompanying them was none other than the general, T'charrl's father. Getting a touch nervous for bringing the guests into the garden he went ahead to meet the other soldiers, kneeling down before the general politely. "Garesh! To what do I owe the personal visit of the general himself?"

General Garesh looked down at the guard captain with a steady expression, arms folded behind his back. "I came to find these two on my wife's request, not to see you." he answered plainly, watching L'esta lift his head curiously. For a moment the two looked at one another before the general laughed, the Captain joining in a moment later as the two embraced briefly. "I do hate to interrupt, but Eslaria wants to see them, and I don't intend on keeping her waiting for very long. Mind if I steal them for a moment?" A shake of the head from L'esta told him not, and gesturing for his escort to wait a moment he walked towards Shu and Yumi, arms once more behind his back. "You two are the ones who saved my son then?"

"Call it what you want, you're wrong. You don't know what we have to deal with, so don't you dare try to label us." This Beastman was ridiculous, he was far easier to deal with when sedated and under someone else's command. Frustrated Kabocha grabbed Viral by his arms, slinging the faintly larger man over his shoulder and looking at the twins. They were going to have to find where Yumi was on their own, much easier said than done. "Ready to fly guys? Time to keep hunting." Until they had that damn girl they couldn't afford to leave, otherwise they would be paying for a failure. Sighing the Saiyan rose up into the air, scanning the horizon for some sign of civilization. They would just hit every town until they found where she was, if it had to go that way. It took a few seconds for them to locate anything, but finally Kabocha managed to spot a series of white structures off in the distance, standing well against the trees. Grinning he looked over his shoulder at Viral, nodding towards the place in question. "How about we start there, hm?"

Shu was greatly enjoying his fruit, taking his time to eat it rather than just to chow it all down without savouring the flavour. He didn’t know how this tree functioned or how it even managed to live down here. He thought trees needed the sun, he always knew trees that were in sunlight grew faster than ones that weren’t; it was something you learn when growing up in the jungle and observing the world around you. Finishing off his fruit, he looked between the two seeing they had finished theirs only for him to throw his off far. He hoped what was left would grow again, it would be nice to know that he had succeeded with keeping the tree’s lineage alive even if it was something tiny.

Licking his fingers quite happily, he soon quickly moved to keep up with L’esta and Yumi, he looked around curiously before being alerted by the sound of others approaching, moving closer to Yumi to feel safe. It seemed the Captain knew who this was, a General of some kind. Staring at the strange alien, he looked between them all before he let out a sigh when they didn’t seem hostile, giving him a little smile as the General approached them. Giving a little nod, he looked up to Yumi before back to the General again, slowly moving behind Yumi a little more, “Uh huh…w-we found him, Mister”, he spoke, giving a nervous smile, “Why…? What’s wrong? Is he okay…?”

Choi was only just beginning to calm down a little more as Kai kept a hold of him with a sigh finally ending his little hissy fit, Kai letting go of him. Kabocha was always good at doing the talking and showing off, Choi and Kai were suited to being the extra muscle just incase he ever got into trouble with their victim. Looking between each other before back to Kabocha, Kai nodded and flew up with him as Choi followed on just a few seconds after. If they could keep a hold of Viral then that would at least keep Yamate happy, it wasn’t as if Yumi was particularly strong and was still an experiment in herself. Looking all around them, Choi let out a sigh, clicking his scouter a few times, “Man…finding him was just pure luck…”

Viral was getting rather annoyed with these dismissals he was constantly put under, he couldn’t ever catch a break even when he was being brutally honest. Trying to move despite the pain and confusion he was under, he suddenly felt himself being lifted off the ground and over the shoulder of Kabocha. This was just getting humiliating now, he didn’t deserve to be treated like this and it was only causing him greater discomfort. He was being brought up into the air, his eyes staring at the ground as it slowly moved away. With Kabocha giving only a glance to Viral, Viral immediately looked towards him, letting out a growl, “You’re wasting your time…incompetent little whelp!” he snarled, trying to kick out immediately and trying hard to use his remaining strength to get out of the Saiyan’s grasp.

"Oh no, T'charrl is fine. In fact he's been discharged from the doctor's care only a few moments ago," Garesh replied, chuckling to himself as he lifted a claw to rub at the back of his head. "My wife is going to kill me for that, but he really didn't need to be cooped up. And knowing the way he gets I thought it was just as well he gets out. Last time we tried grounding him he ended up out in the city picking a fight with some little band of punks. Beat them up, but got a split lip after it all..." Realizing he was rambling the General smiled sheepishly, adjusting his weight between his feet and clearing his throat. "Sorry. But yes he's fine. And now that he's up again we feel ready to properly thank you. So if you'd be kind enough to come with us." There was still some to be learned about these two, giving this impromptu fetch request an ulterior motive as well. Gesturing for the outsiders to follow along Garesh turned to L'esta, smiling and placing a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Please return to your post for the time being. I appreciate you taking time to help out, but we'll handle things from here."

"Of course, I'll see you later then." L'esta replied. Turning to Yumi and Shu he smiled, bowing to them politely. "And you two as well, it was a pleasure meeting you two." He didn't have too terribly much time left to his shift, but there was the matter of moving men around and getting ready for the next group to come in. It was a touch disappointing to have to leave such interesting people, but he was sure they'd meet again.

Yumi watched as the Captain left them, waving until he was out of sight. She'd miss him, he was definitely a nice change from the stiff lot that they'd met in the city. Nodding at the General's request she looked down at Shu, taking up his hand and giving it a squeeze to reassure him. "Don't worry so much, these people are nice. And the General definitely seems nicer than his wife." There wasn't the impending sense that you were going to be smacked upside the head with this man, which was a welcome change. Seeing that their new escort was getting further ahead Yumi gave the monkey-boy's arm a gentle tug before hurrying along after them, keeping his hand in hers securely.

That city had to be where she was, there was no other place visible for miles. Kabocha smiled as he prepared to take off towards the white metropolis, instead grunting and fidgeting as Viral tossed about in his grasp. "Hey, hold still idiot! I'll drop you if you keep doing that!" he shouted, using his free arm to hold the Beastman's legs still. How utterly annoying, he should have dumped this job on one of the twins. "Luck or not, at least we've got something to show for all of this. Let's see if we can get the girl, then we'll go back to the ships." With a gradual build up Kabocha started off flying, taking point as they raced over the trees once again. While leaving now would probably satisfy Yamate they really should try finding the girl, then at least they could say they made the effort. So long as they didn't run into any familiar faces they ought to be okay.

Shu laughed nervously at the General's gests about his son, trying his best to feel relaxed about him. He didn't know whether the guy was going to be similar to the Queen with how they acted, especially when this guy was in just as high authority as the Queen if only a step below. Maybe they would be able to see T'charrl up and going again before long, he definitely didn't sound like the type of guy who wouldn't try and recover as quickly as he could. Looking up to Yumi, he smiled a little as his hand was squeezed, finding that little reassurance in it, "I-I guess so..." he mumbled, giving a little nod as he moved on after Yumi, staring up at the General as they followed after him, feeling a little anxious still but willing to go along with her, "Do you think he likes us...? I-I mean, I don't want to be a bother if they don't like us and just be taking their food because I bumped into their son..."

Viral was fair determined to get out of Kabocha's grasp, but when the guy only further forced him to keep still he immediately tried to wriggle out of his hold even as his muscles burned with pain, "I'd rather fall to my death than become a slave like you again!" he growled angrily, even trying to wriggle around to the sides, "I'll bite your face off!" Soon enough he stopped wriggling around, his body finding it hard to move already after that sudden exertion. He couldn't let it end like this, but he felt as if he had very little in the way of ability to actually make it happen. He couldn't let Yumi get captured, he could barely care less about his capture when it came to her having to go through everything torturous again.

Kai looked off to Kabocha, letting out a sigh as he flew off after him, "Can't you keep control of him? He's just going to fall and then we'll have to answer to the King getting angry over that too", he spoke, looking ahead as he tried to get his scouter to work. It was really strange, the energy of the planet just proved to clog up their electronic systems, "Even if we can't find the girl, we can always bring him back and go after her again. It's easy enough to find this planet when the signal to us hasn't disrupted in any way, just when we get to this planet..."

Yumi was disappointed that L'esta had to leave, he had been a properly nice companion in the city. The General didn't seem bad though, certainly not if he was on friendly terms with the Captain anyways. Besides, they could likely leave whenever they wanted to, so even if this went south getting out shouldn't be much an issue. At her side it seemed that Shu wasn't nearly as confident about this, constantly grabbing her hand and hiding against her. To settle his nerves she squeezed his hand in her grasp, smiling down at him gently. "I don't think they HATE us," she whispered back, referring to what L'esta had said about the Queen earlier. "And even if it's just in the moment T'charrl doesn't seem to hate us either. We did something good Shu, so it's normal for people to want to thank someone. If anything happens though we'll leave, I promise."

"Yeah yeah... Bite my face off..." Kabocha mumbled, already tired of Viral's heroics. Seriously, he could barely move, let alone fight. Just who was he trying to protect in that sorry state? Part of him wished they had knocked the Beastman out, but then again they needed him in case they couldn't find Yumi anywhere. Sighing at Kai's complaint he smiled faintly, nodding his head in agreement. "Cut our losses and run for the time being, yeah?" It wasn't the best plan of action, but it would have to do. Better than risking going home with no one at all, that was for sure. "And give up on that stupid thing will you?" Kabocha snapped, referring to the scouters they all carrried, "It's jamming our signals down here, it won't do us any good."

"From what I've heard of you two, you're quite the unusual pair," Garesh spoke up, walking along with his gaze right ahead. Unlike with their trip with L'esta the crowds cleared rather quickly for this new entourage, though many still lingered to catch a glimpse of the curious aliens. "A Saiyan boy and a woman of unknown origin, definitely an oddity on our world. I'd ask what you're doing on our world, but I can assume that you stopped here with no ill will, seeing as our cities still stand, so it bothers me little." Saiyans were notorious in the universe, and even a secluded planet such as Kaesstra caught wind of the atrocities those people had carried out. To have one of those people turn into a pseudo-hero was an unlikely but welcome turn. Looking over his shoulder Garesh smiled slightly, coming to a stop gradually as they neared the bridge to the palace. "I'm sure you've heard it before by now, but as commander of my city's defences I have to stress that you be on your best behavior while here. I won't make a foolish claim that I could fight you if you struck out against us, but while we're on good terms let's please keep it that way, yes?"

Looking up to Yumi, Shu could only trust her judgement and hope that everything was going to be okay. It was hard to say that she was helping him feel a little more relaxed because he wasn’t, but maybe he just had to give it time to trust people who held ranks like some of the Saiyans had. They appeared to have good intentions, but he still found himself struggling to find trust in strangers. Looking to the General, he nodded a little but let out a squeak in response to the man suspicions, frowning a little, “I-I don’t destroy things like other Saiyans…and Yumi is from Earth which is like your world”, he spoke, giving a little nod before looking down a little, “We came here to find a planet that our friend could recover on from a really bad condition. He’s not very well, he’s awfully sad about it. I would never fight innocent people…I swear…”

Kai was having a hard time doing anything that could count as handy when his scouter was having a hard time getting through to working correctly, seeing as how that was the only thing that was going to help them find the girl. The Beastman wasn’t going to provide them with any help, that much was way too obvious as he rolled around trying to get off Kabocha with his occasional moments where he’d stop out of exhaustion. Grumbling a little when Kabocha snapped at him, he turned away from him and continued to fly onwards, “And how else are we supposed to find the girl, then? I’m sure your passenger will tell us everything, huh…”

Choi didn’t know what the big deal was, they should had just taken the Beastman back instead of searching for the girl too when they had managed to successfully capture him. The others would surely try and get him back, so there should had been no problem when it came to using what they had as bait. Thinking it was way too late to talk about it, Choi let out a sigh and turned to look at them, “Can you guys not fight right now? We just got the easiest to catch prisoner in ages…a former Elite! And you two are bickering over gadgets?” he spoke, smirking, “You two should be married, always fighting…sometimes I swear I’m the one looking after you two! Which is ironic consideri-ah!” A energy shot suddenly whizzed by him, missing him by mere inches as it flew off into the distance, fading as it continued. He was almost hit, but by what exactly, “Hey! Did one of you fire at me??”

Garesh wasn't familiar with 'Earth', and as far as he knew all their people looked as strange as Yumi did. Odd creatures, completely without hair and wings, but they'd certainly played host to some less than ideal people before. Strange or not these two were welcome. "I hope that your friend makes a fast recovery then," the General replied, smiling at Shu kindly. "Our world is ideal for long life and health since it is so clean. Even the energy that is released from above is pure, and it endows our world with the power to flourish as it does. You couldn't have picked a more idyllic world to settle on, I think." In no time at all they had gotten back to the palace gates, and on a sharp command the doors were opened for them to enter. Unlike before Yumi and Shu would notice the increase in guards in the area, all armed with various weapons. None gave them any discouraging looks though; waves and smiles were plentiful amongst the ranks. It was clear these people appreciated what had been done for them, and even the strange nature of the duo wasn't barring their hospitality.

Once more into the common room Shu and Yumi were led up the parting staircases, being brought to a set of gilded doors with banners on either side of them. Turning to his young companions Garesh's demeanor tightened up a bit, still smiling slightly as he held himself tall. "Now... I know you met her before, but bear in mind this is our Queen. In private you can relax, but please, here use formalities. Either 'Your Majesty' or 'Your Highness' will do. I'm sorry to impose these rules on you, but it's something everyone needs to do here, outsiders included." Grabbing each of the handles the General gave the doors a push, they swinging open with relative ease. Beyond the threshold was a long purple carpet with a golden trim, as well as matching banners with tassles on the edges along the walls. Support pillars ran from the floor up to a high arching ceiling, and above a glass window let in a good deal of light, from the very veins that illuminated the rest of the city. At the head of the room was a set of three chairs, with the middle being the largest and most elegant. There sat the Queen, with T'charrl to her left, the third reserved for the General. "Come along now, we'd best move along."

Yumi kept Shu's hand in hers securely, as much for calming his nerves as it was her own. If the situation didn't deem otherwise she'd be looking around at the architecture, poking her head in every nook and cranny to study this palace. If everyone else was all business though then they should try to be too, and so she walked along behind Garesh with eyes forward, her shoulders awkwardly back to have a proper posture. After a certain point they were stopped along the way, with the General taking his seat beside Eslaria and guards lining up between the royal family and the two outsiders. A bit nervous Yumi swallowed hardly, managing a meek smile as she looked to Garesh for a clue as what to do. Getting waved on she bowed her head sheepishly, though certainly not curtsying or anything. "Um... You asked for us, Your Majesty?" she managed to get out, her voice a bit uncertain. When had she ever had to address someone like this before?

"I did, I'm glad to see you two arrived promptly." Eslaria answered, looking down on the two outsiders. "Before I give you your parting gifts I want to formally thank you again for helping get the Prince home safely. We owe you a great deal of gratitude for that, more than you could know. So let me give you this first, a gift in its own right. If you two should ever return to Kaesstra, our doors are always open to you." Despite themselves there was a bit of murmur between the guards, and Garesh as well gave his wife a bit of a surprised look. Clearly no one had been informed about that decision, as it was near unheard of to be open to non-Kaesstrians. Raising a hand for everyone to settle down Eslaria smiled slightly, turning her head to look at T'charrl. "Prince T'charrl? Do you have anything to say to your friends before they are sent on their way?"

"Well crap... I don't know Kai. How about I just use the scouter to do it?" Kabocha continued, getting agitated more over the body smacking against him constantly than his partner. Lifting a hand he pressed the button on the side before rolling his eyes, smiling faintly. "Oh that's right, they don't work! I wouldn't be surprised if we got some worn out, older models." Glancing back to hear what Choi had to say the Saiyan nodded a little, having to agree that this part had been easy at least. When the marriage quip came up though he was going to snap at the other twin, if not for the surprise of seeing a Ki blast chasing them down. Descending a bit he watched as it narrowly missed Choi, soaring well ahead of them before exploding, making them stop in flight. "Yeah Choi, I fired from behind you while ahead of you!" Kabocha shouted, tightening his grip on Viral. "Who the hell was it?"

Takeshi fired another blast from below the treeline, only barely seeing the trio clad in Saiyan armor above. This blast was intercepted by another, shot by the one carrying Viral. If he was going to get his friend down he'd have to get out there. Sighing he flew up to meet the others, at first quickly with the intent to strike one of them down. As he got closer though their faces came into focus, and a few meters away he screeched to a halt, eyebrows lifted in surprise. "Kai...? Choi...?" he mumbled, seeing who had Viral as well, "And Kabocha? What are you three doing here? And what are you doing with him?" Dumb question, he knew these three had become his father's personal lapdogs since they'd last met. So they were trying to steal the Beastman back then? Figures, they finally get some rest only for this to happen. "Look guys, I'm working on getting you out, but I can't let you take Viral. Hand him over, okay?"

Shu continued to follow along, his hand grasping Yumi’s as he walked along with some level of anxiety. He wasn’t very good at being the centre of attention and if they were going to see the Queen then there was going to be a good group of people here, but the sooner they were through with it then the better everything was going to be. He was still enjoying looking around and seeing what everything was like around him, the palace being especially fancy. Tilting his head a little when Garesh told them what to call the Queen, he nodded as he eventually came to an understanding to what those possibly meant, “Okay, those are pretty names…” he spoke, not quite understanding what they meant.

Moving on to approach the Queen and her family, Shu stared at the window curiously as he kept a hold of Yumi’s hand. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do here other than call the Queen what he was told to say, he had no idea what it was supposed to do otherwise. Staring at the Queen, he gasped when she suddenly spoke, pulling himself towards Yumi as he watched them all curiously. He didn’t know what they were getting, he couldn’t outright see what kind of gift they were getting, but he did feel happy that they were welcome to return to the city again. He’d enjoy returning, he’d just have to make sure Takeshi didn’t know while all this was still going on.

T’charrl was fairly bandaged up, yet he was still dressed like he was expected to show that he was the Prince. With his weapons gone and his clothing changed, he sat looking a little tired most likely because he was malnourished yet striving to be active and awake. Looking between his mother and his rescuers, he sighed as he slowly began to relax only to nearly have a heart attack when his mother spoke to him. Looking to her quickly before to Yumi and Shu, he slowly sat up and rubbed his chest, nodding a little, “Uhh y-yes, I do”, he spoke, quickly fixing his antennae, “Can…can I visit you guys again sometime before you leave the planet? Maybe for training? Maybe show me what’s out there! Maybe you could come back soon and train with me?” he spoke up only to look to his mother and sank back into his chair, “Umm…I-I mean…thank you for finding me. If you didn’t, I would had probably died or been caught again…”

The frustration Kai was feeling was fairly high, Kabocha could be so stupid sometimes it was unbelievable. For a Saiyan in his class he should had been educated a little more and not told that everything could fail, but just because there was a lot of failure didn’t mean it wasn’t completely useless. The scouter should eventually work if given a chance, there had to be some break in the strange energy. Groaning at Kabocha’s moaning, he suddenly let out a gasp when a shot of Ki energy could be felt from behind and almost hitting his brother. Immediately coming to a halt and turning around with Kabocha immediately intercepting another that came their way, Kai looked to his brother and immediately moved to him just incase another came for him.

Choi was rather frightened, he had nearly been hurt and that was definitely something he feared when he wasn’t ready for it. Looking to his brother immediately before down to where the second blast came from, he slowly moved backwards before his brother came over to him, “W-What’s happening??” he asked out before the unexpected popped up instead, namely in the form of Takeshi. Letting out a gasp, he slowly shook his head, staring at him as he spoke before he looked to Viral and back to Takeshi. He didn’t want to have to encounter Takeshi, that was the last person they needed to find in the end, frowning a little as he raised his hands up in front of him, “I-I’m sorry, Takeshi…but we can’t!” he spoke quickly, slowly moving back, “We have to come back with something o-or we’re on the menu for punishment! Can’t you just forget you saw us…? We can’t let you get caught too if they know you’re here!”

Viral was very uncomfortable and didn’t like how the world had been passing him by so it was a relief that they came to a halt because of an ambush that was probably just by chance. Seeing that it was Takeshi, Viral let out a groan. He was angry at this, he was just being shown off as the victim again when he had tried hard to not to be one. Growling lowly and trying to shift himself out of Kabocha’s grasp, he tried to get a look at Takeshi from his point of view, “…This was not my fault, you know!”

Eslaria listened to her son for a moment, keeping a stern expression on her face as he spoke. He genuinely seemed to like these two, even if that was only due to their saving him. It was nice to see him talkative around someone around his age, presumably, since she tended to scare off quite a few people herself. When T'charrl backtracked and tried to change his demeanor the Queen let out a small laugh, smiling as she reached over and gently rubbed one of her son's shoulders. "You can visit them so long as they stay away from the cities," she answered gently, showing a more compassionate motherly side. She then grabbed one of his antennae, the equivalent of grabbing one's ear, and looked at the boy sternly. "If I find out you went there again you won't leave this palace for a month, got it? I'll lock you up if I have to." With her little warning out of the way she softened up once more, smiling down at Shu and Yumi. "Of course, they'd have to agree to it too. But I know they wouldn't want to disappoint me or my son."

"Uh... N-No, of course not, Your Majesty!" Yumi stammered, really not wanting to say anything to the contrary. Really it would be nice to see T'charrl again, especially if it meant seeing this 'ability' of his. But having to do that under the rather terrifying eye of his mother... That was going to take a little convincing. Putting on a timid smile she looked back at Shu for a moment before pulling him to her side, turning back to Eslaria. "If it's all the same miss... We do need to be going soon. Our friends must be wondering where we are, and some of them are a real handful when they're angry..." All three men back in the city were really, given the proper ammunition. For everyone's sake then it was best that she and Shu not stay out too long.

"So you want to just leave, is that it?" the Queen asked, getting a jump out of Yumi and a small cringe from her husband. Rather than take offense as she was prone to do she smiled, nodding her head. "Very well, I can sympathize with that. We'll give you your reward and send you on your way." Waving over one of the guards she rose from her seat, coming down and meeting the man halfway, taking a basket from him. Eslaria then went to Shu and Yumi, handing the latter the basket with a kind smile. "Inside there's fruit from our city's largest tree, a shard of the Ornamium, a rare metal found on our planet, and 10,000 Kaessia, our currency. I hope that's a suitable gift for helping us bring our prince home."

Yumi took the basket a bit cluelessly, hesitant to peek inside until she was told so. When the Queen went over its contents she had to look inside, surprised by what they were getting. She didn't know how far 10,000 of their currency would get them, but it seemed like a lot. Plus they had some of the delicious fruit, hard to argue that. The metal shard she wasn't entirely sure what to do with, best to keep that in the basket and have Vegeta take a look at it. Closing the container again the Beastman smiled gratefully up to the Queen, bowing in earnest to show her appreciation. "Thank you very much, it's more than we really ought to get, but we'll take it. And we're just happy we could have helped."

Takeshi wasn't really too sure how to treat this situation. He hadn't planned on seeing these three again, not until they went back to the Saiyan world to free them. Now he was being forced to take action in some way though and he really wasn't thrilled with that. Drifting towards Choi slowly he halted when the younger boy moved back, frowning a bit in confusion. "What are you here for? And I'm not just going to forget you trying to run off with one of my friends, so put him down already." If he wasn't utterly baffled he might be angry, but at the moment he was trying to put two and two together. Viral felt the need to speak up about his predicament, Takeshi looking to the Beastman exasperatedly in turn. "I never said it was your fault, no need to get defensive..." he mumbled, sighing and crossing his arms over his chest. "Look guys... Land and we'll figure out what's going on. It's earlier than I'd have liked, but maybe now it's time to fill my end of the bargain."

T'charrl was sure he was going to receive a beating for what he said, he didn't mean to go completely out of character like that and knew he had to remain Prince-like when he was on his throne. Looking to his mother, he pulled back a little nervously only to see that she was just going to be placing a claw on his shoulder, his relief suddenly rising only to immediately be yanked away in the form of his antennae getting pulled at. Wincing, he shut his eyes and raised his hands, trying his best to not show fear when it was obvious that he was going to end up doing so anyway, "Okay! Oww! I won't! I swear!" he yelped, his hands going to hers, "Please, Mother...you're making me dizzy..."

Shu didn't know what to make of the situation, he'd like to have more friends but he didn't want them to have to suffer for it at the same time. Holding onto Yumi, he watched the Queen cautiously as they all discussed what was going to happen and what they might be given for a reward, even though Shu wasn't expecting one. He was just happy to see a family reunited, he didn't really want anything out of it. Trying to smile as the Queen approached them, he cowered away a little only to see she was handing them something instead. Staring curiously at the basket, he tilted his head a little before giving it a sniff only to smile. He could smell that fruit inside, that was definitely going to make him happy for the rest of the day, "Oooohhhh...uh huh! Thank you! Your fruit is very tasty...I really like that fruit..."

It was definitely bad that Takeshi had found them all, but there was no saying what was going to have to happen now. Choi was completely panicked while Kai was trying to keep calm while also backing off slightly, looking to his brother and back to Takeshi as they spoke together. There was no way around this, either Takeshi was going to have to turn away and forget what he saw or he was going to have to fight them to the death. Kai let out a sigh as Takeshi tried to give some sort of parley between them all, the whole deal sounding a lot easier than it actually was, "Look...Takeshi, what we're here for you know we can't tell you", he spoke, shaking his head, "And secondly, how would you do that? You know what's on the line, how are we supposed to be saved from something like that?"

Eslaria let her son go after a moment, making sure he got the message this time around. Chances were he'd do it again, knowing the boy, and they'd be right back to this once more. Sighing to herself the Queen decided then to see to their guests, and after getting a basket from her guard she delivered it down to Yumi personally. Both of them seemed to appreciate it, which was certainly good, it meant that everyone was happy now. Retaking her spot on the throne Eslaria looked at Shu curiously as he brightened up a bit, giving the young Saiyan a small smile of amusement. "You have a lot of simple pleasures, don't you little one?" she mused, crossing her arms over her chest and biting back a yawn. T'charrl didn't know it, and neither did her husband, but she had been up quite a while worrying over the Prince, and now that was catching up with her. "You are both very welcome. And the currency I gave you, it's good in both our cities and theirs," the Queen added, referring to the cities above. "I can't expect you to just abandon your residence there, but don't get too comfortable. There are people in those cities that cannot be trusted. Now, if you'll excuse me..." Eslaria rose from her seat once more, looking down at T'charrl with a small smirk. "WE have some talking to do, young man. To your room, now."

On that note Yumi figured it was likely a good idea to get a move on. Smiling apologetically at the Prince she bowed to him politely, adjusting the basket to one hand as she took Shu's in her other. "We'll keep that in mind, Your Majesty, thank you again." It felt kind of flaky leaving T'charrl here to deal with his mother, but now it was a family thing and out of their hands. Awkwardly giving a wave to Garesh as well the Beastman turned with her friend in tow and made for the exit. Some detour this had turned into, they definitely had a story to tell when they got back to the house. Now that they had some idea of the real state of things on this planet Yumi wondered just what they would do now. Leaving didn't seem right, they should try helping bring things to a peaceful end. There was the glaring issue of finding this 'corrupt one' though and even the Kaesstrians didn't know who that referred to. "Think we'll ever get a proper vacation?" Yumi mused, smiling at Shu thoughtfully and giving his arm a playful tug. "I want to go to the beach again when we get home! I miss the salty air, even on that old pervert Roshi's island."

"What do you mean you can't tell me?" Takeshi replied, frowning as he waved his hands cluelessly. "How am I supposed to cut you a deal and let you go when I have no idea what's even going on? If I'm going to even consider that then you owe it to me to fill me in. I'm not just going to let one of my friends be dragged back to that hell-hole just because my old squad needs a trophy." He knew the situation they were in, but they were certainly at an impasse. One needed someone to come back with them, and the other refused to let that happen. With Yamate pulling the strings there really was no middle ground, meaning one side was going to have to give. Kai's line of questioning managed to stump Takeshi for a good moment, the Saiyan's brow furrowing as he thought on the matter. "I don't know..." he mumbled, hands clenching into fists. "I don't have a way to save your families, not yet. But you stealing back my friends isn't going to fix that problem, all you're doing is helping my father! I bet we can find a way to get your parents away from the king, just tell me what's going on already!"

Vegeta ran out of the house in a hurry, taking off into the sky towards the group of powers he felt. One was Takeshi, he knew that much, but the others he wasn't too sure. They were vaguely recognizable, but not nearly enough to put a face to the energy. They weren't friendly, he wagered, which meant they had a problem on their hands. It had to be Saiyans, the energies were fairly strong in themselves, and the nature of them were definitely familiar. Why did those damn creeps have to follow them out here of all places? If this devolved into a fight it would be him and Takeshi against those three, not the best odds but certainly could be worse. "Dammit... This war is going to follow us around..." he mumbled, pulling no punches as he jettisoned ahead at full speed.

T’charrl was fairly sore still and her doing that to him was definitely a warning, but it wasn’t as if he was going to end up damaged from it. She meant well and he knew that, he just didn’t like being cooped up indoors all the time. He wanted to help in any way possible, but making his mother disappointed in him was definitely one of his greatest fears in itself. When she let go of him he could feel that relief, his antennae feeling pretty numb right now. He really hoped the aliens were going to stay a little while longer, he didn’t want to end up getting better, go to find them only to find that they left before they could go anywhere. Slowly looking around in contemplation, he flinched a little when his mother stood up once more, her eyes on him instead. Frowning, he nodded a little and took hold of a cane beside his seat, slowly pushing himself up with it, “O-Okay, Mother...” he mumbled, getting to his feet with a wobble as he slowly made his way to his room, giving Yumi and Shu a little side glance as he left.

Shu felt the appreciation that others couldn’t when it came to having fruit given to him as a gift, he really did feel happy now that he had some to treasure until he ate it all. Giving them a nervous smile before he turned with Yumi to head off, he bounced a little to get a look inside the basket before he looked up at Yumi curiously as if wondering what they might end up doing now. It was probably much too early to head back to their home so they probably had time to kill unless Yumi really was just wanting to go straight home and relax. Giving one last glance back, he let out a sigh before looking up at Yumi with a little bit of confusion in his expression, “What is a vacation, anyway…?” he asked up before he looked down again, “I haven’t seen Roshi in so long…I haven’t seen the Earth in so long…I miss everything…”

Choi could barely keep himself quiet and was becoming increasingly unsettled, it was a horrible feeling building up inside as Takeshi continued to try and come to a compromise. It was so very difficult, but they all knew there was no way out of this unless they were to try and flee immediately while keeping Takeshi away. Pulling at his armour, he looked to Kabocha before to Kai and Takeshi, his nerves kicking in pretty quickly, “Ohhh…! We’re going to become the next lab rats if we don’t come back with something!” he spoke up quickly, pulling his hair, “We need to bring back at least one of the experiments if we’re to avoid being turned into monsters too! Our parents…they’ll just be forced into service as well and just become the next in line…how are you supposed to stop that?? They’d probably just put a collar back on him, anyway…”

It really was a shame to be leaving this city so soon. While above ground was nice it just didn't have the same mystical charm that this one did, it was utterly absent of the glowing veins of energy and the grand tree as its centerpiece. Worse still was that they probably couldn't say a word about this while back in the stone-washed city. If these two factions were at war with one another then giving away the location of one's home was obviously not a very good idea. Nearing the doors at the forefront of the city Yumi smiled at Shu as he asked what she had ment, it wavering slightly as he seemed to become disappointed. "It's when you don't have to do anything but have fun and play games," she explained gently, giving his arm a playful swing to try and cheer him up. "If you miss Master Roshi and Earth then we'd best hurry up and get home, huh? Don't want that old man taking on new students now do we?" She had hoped to bid farewell to L'esta as well, but as they passed through the main gates to the city it was clear he wasn't around any longer. Disappointed, Yumi kept pulling Shu along with her, gradually making their way up to the brightness of the ground above.

Takeshi didn't get what these three were trying to hide from him, or why Choi was freaking out so much. It was unusual seeing the normally vibrant Saiyan panicking like that, it meant they were really in one hell of a situation then. Opening his mouth to speak he paused when a curious bit came up in the other boy's rambling. "Wait... One of the experiments...?" he mirrored, frowning as he gave the trio a puzzled look. The only other one that had been experimented on was Shu. That wasn't right though, because there was one more person in their group who had fallen into the Saiyan's clutches. Almost afraid to hear the answer Takeshi looked at Viral for a moment before his former squad, his body slumping slightly in realization. "You're talking about Yumi... Aren't you? She's the one you came here for?"

"It's not like we want to be doing this, you know!" Kabocha said, butting into the conversation. "What else can we do? Like Choi said, our hands are tied here Takeshi, you know that! And I don't see any way for you to get us out of this, so we've got to do something to keep our families safe!" The very deal they'd made initially was bogus in hindsight. After all, how was anyone going to successfully get away from their king, especially while on their home world? Those who had gotten away so far had already been off planet, but being the king's personal servants their families had no such hopes. That meant they had to be taken directly from Kortal, which was a suicide mission. Things were hardly looking ideal for them, they were just getting into a deeper and deeper pit here. Just to make matters worse another power had suddenly come to attention, and it was approaching disconcertingly fast. "Oh man... Now what?!"

Vegeta could really sense the powers now, four distinct energies straight ahead. As he raced across the forest the group finally began to come into view, first as small dots until they quickly began to take shape. To his surprise not only was Takeshi there, but Viral as well, the latter in the grasp of some Saiyan brat. Coming to a halt well behind the trio he glared at the one holding the Beastman angrily, looking over them to his friend perplexed. "What's going on here? And why are you just standing there shooting the breeze with them? They've got Viral!"

"I know Vegeta!" Takeshi shouted back, groaning as he lifted his hands and ran them back through his hair with a soft exhale. "It's complicated, okay? There's a lot going on here, and I'm really not getting any answers here." He didn't like it, but if these three weren't going to talk willingly then they'd have to be made to answer. With little reason to conceal himself the prince let his energy rise up a bit, the air around him gusting as his Ki fired out, a small aura dancing around him as a result before disappearing again. "I'm not going to ask again, put Viral down. I can't let you take him or Yumi back to my father, you know what will happen to them if you do!"

"Wait, they're after Yumi too...?" That changed things quite a bit, as if it wasn't an affront already to be trying to make off with Viral. Giving the trio a nasty glare Vegeta tightened up a bit, his own power rising out of sheer distaste for the three before him. "She's already had enough of your damned king, I'll sooner go there myself in her place than let you bring her back." he said harshly, and with no signal of any sort he dashed forward, striking out at Choi with a punch as he was the nearest to him.

Shu hoped they could come back pretty soon, it was a very nice place to be considering the city was like an entirely new world and didn’t appear so similar to Earth like the surface did. The people were fairly interesting, they were definitely odd looking but they were from a completely different branch of beings. He did wonder how long it would take one of them to recover, he did hope to see the Prince again even if their time with him was fairly brief. Looking up to Yumi, he nodded a little, giving a small smile in confirmation, “I’d like that, I’d like that a lot”, he spoke, nodding a bit, “If that’s what that is, then it’s vacation a lot of the time already! I have a lot of fun a lot of the time, it’s really all I do in my spare time. Why do I need a special word for that time when I could have fun with you any time?” Approaching the outside was pretty startling, the sunshine hitting him pretty hard when he emerged into the opening, “Ah! That’s bright…”

Choi didn’t mean to spill everything like that, he was just feeling terribly anxious and it was eating away at him everytime Takeshi questioned their motives. Looking to Kabocha nervously before he let out a sigh, feeling as if he failed them by blabbing. It seemed that Takeshi had gotten the picture pretty quickly, but that also confirmed that she was on the planet after all and the energy here wasn’t interfering with their devices too much. Wondering if Takeshi was going to end up coming to a compromise with them, he looked to Kabocha who had lost his cool before there was a strange sort of energy approaching with all of them immediately needing to go on guard. Pulling back in the air a little, sure enough it was Vegeta who had arrived, someone who had been a problem before. Letting out a little yell he immediately pulled his hands up, not feeling completely confident right now.

Viral wasn’t feeling too good at this point, his arms being behind his back and restrained was definitely proving to be uncomfortable while his head wasn’t letting his eyes focus. The small dose of punishment he had put up with being was getting to him and he was gradually losing his bearings, the sound of Vegeta only wakening him up just enough to understand how bad of a situation this was. Trying to turn to look at him, he soon decided it wasn’t going to happen and looked down to the ground again, not exactly enjoying this outlook all too much. Something bad was eventually going to happen, he just wouldn’t be able to do anything about it unless he tried to fight too somehow.

Things were looking a bit dodgy, but Kai was on his guard. He didn't think he could drop it when there was now another warrior looking fairly hot and bothered not to mention there had been a rather terrible encounter with him before, but that wasn't going to discourage Kai. If anything, this was going to prove to be harder to control and not something they should be scared over, even if Choi was proving to be just a little bit too nervous to control. Watching the angry adult cautiously, he kept his guard up right to the point where things immediately went from bad to worse. Choi had become a target due to his close range and Kai had sensed that pretty quickly, especially when it was his own twin who was being made the target. Choi had barely been able to do anything about it, but seeing Vegeta move and hit his brother it was definitely Kai's turn to intervene. With little hesitation, the moment the attack hit Kai had dashed straight to Vegeta, aiming to ram him away and punch him down to the ground.

Yumi smiled at Shu adoringly, releasing his hand to give his nose a light tap. "That's right, we can play whenever we want. But a vacation is a little different... Maybe when we get back to Earth I can show you what I mean." As they walked back into the outside world the Beastman shielded her eyes carefully, trying not to go blind from the sudden change in lighting. Shu didn't take that precaution by the sounds of it, so she stopped for a moment to let his eyes adjust, smiling sympathetically. Once she was sure his vision had returned she starte walking again, tucking the basket under one arm as she offered the little Saiyan her hand again, enjoying walking like that. It was for her akin to taking a stroll with a little brother, and she wondered in earnest why Takeshi never did this. It was different for boys, she supposed, but getting to take a liesurely walk hand in hand with her young friend was very enjoyable. "Ready to go find the others? I bet they're all waiting for us."

Vegeta was pissed, which for him to snap as quickly as he did it was unusual. Having Yumi involved on top of Viral being victimized was just what he needed to go over the tipping point, and in an odd show of aggression from him he attacked the closest enemy to him, striking Choi with a good solid punch that sent the Saiyan back a fair deal. It felt satisfying to land a blow, but there was little time to enjoy it as the other twin immediately charged at him. Feeling a shoulder drive into his stomach Vegeta gasped, being sent down towards the ground before barely blocking a strong punch with his forearm, still hitting the earth due to momentum alone. Landing had caused a small crater, and while not really injured in the least he was dazed, his head spinning as he glared up at Kai furiously. "You're not taking my friends again, I'll kill you before that happens!" Picking himself up off of the ground he readied himself to get back into the air, but seeing a flitting figure chase down his attacker made him pause.

A fight should have been avoided, it wasn't going to fix anything. Now that blows were being exchanged though there was no helping it, not any longer. A fair bit angry over Yumi's involuntary involvement as well Takeshi chose to chase down Kai, coming right up behind him with the intent on driving both fists over head down onto the boy's back in a spike. He didn't get close enough to do that though, instead having to block a pair of feet that nearly slammed into the side of his head. Glaring beyond his arms at Kabocha his eyes darted around the area, taking a brief breather seeing that Viral had been set down below. Gritting his teeth he pushed the noble boy back, grabbing both legs and spinning before sending him hurtling awkwardly towards Choi, resuming his attack on Kai with an attempted kick of his own.

Shu wasn’t sure how he was supposed to handle the sudden change of light other than trying to wipe it away from his eyes, opening them every so often to see if things had settled down at all. When things were finally visible and he didn’t have to worry anymore about being blinded, he looked up to Yumi and smiled at her, taking her hand calmly and giving her a nod, “I like the sound of a vacation, do you get them often? Do you want more of them? How many can you hold? Do girls have more vacations?” he asked her curiously before he began to bounce a little on his feet, “Ooh! I am ready! You sure you don’t want to explore a little more? How far away are we? Do we know how to get back? I dunno if flying would be a good idea when the people here were a little worried by it…”

Kai was pretty angry himself, the guy had attacked Choi with no warning and now his brother was in pain as a result. They were fairly close to some sort of compromise for a second, but all that went head over heels when this guy just launched himself at Choi. So they were going to have to fight for their freedom to leave, it was expected even with Takeshi trying to compromise with an already difficult situation. Readying himself, he glared down at Vegeta, keeping his fists up, “And I’m not going to let you do that. I’m not going to be pushed around by the likes of you!” Out of the corner of his eye, the sight of Takeshi flying at him only to be intercepted by Kabocha, his eyes quickly surveying the area for any signs of the Beastman. It was good to see he was down on the ground for now, but whether he’d stay there was just another question, he shouldn’t move when he was all tied up like that. Moving quickly to his brother, he pulled him in to make sure he was okay before they were ready to fight.

Choi’s face was well hurting right now, but he had to pull it together and feel lucky that hit wasn’t completely powered up. He couldn’t let himself get caught off-guard again, he needed to pull it together. If that’s how things were going to go then fine, he was going to have to fight back. Looking to his brother, he rubbed his cheek before nodding, getting into a fighting position before immediately moving after Vegeta. The brothers moved in sync together, taking hold of each other’s energy and immediately throwing their own counterattacks straight for Vegeta, trying to punch him down and force him to the ground.

Viral felt disorientated, but that didn’t stop him from feeling humiliated. He had been caught so easily and now he was being treated as just an item deposited on the ground so the Saiyans who claimed him could collect him later. With his arms tied behind his back he was going to have a hard time moving overall, not unless he managed to free himself from his bounds. Slowly moving his feet around, he tried to get a good position before he began to pull his arms, trying to force the cuffs apart through strength alone. It was going to be a lot harder considering they were made of energy, he didn’t actually know how he was supposed to get out of them when it came down to it.

"Woah there, slow down Shu! You're asking questions faster than I can answer them!' Yumi said, laughing amused. "I don't get a lot of vacations, and I don't think it matters if you're a boy or girl really. And... You can't really hold them," she added, brow furrowing confused. So he didn't quite get what a vacation was yet, it'd take a little more explaining then. Like many things it seemed like Shu was going to have to learn as he went, as there was really no other way she could describe it other than a break. With a second slew of questions the Beastman kept her mouth shut for a moment, looking about the forest curiously. She knew the direction they had come in to get here, the very same they were heading in now. Thinking hard about it they had taken a left after finding T'charrl, which meant when they got back to that spot they'd take a right. "I do know how to get back," Yumi assured, smiling at Shu happily, "And I don't feel much like flying anyways. We might as well just go ahead and enjoy a walk back."

Vegeta smiled faintly as Kai shouted down to him, finding the kid's behavior curious in an amusing way. "The likes of me? I'm a Saiyan too, or do you mean an Earthling? Afraid to lose to someone from Earth?" The other twin was back in it too, and by the looks of things both boys intended to take the fight to him in gusto, ignoring Takeshi entirely. Wondering just where the other boy had gone he looked around, finding him heading to Viral to help out. So he was supposed to buy time right now then? Turning back to Kai and Choi he braced as they rushed in to attack him, pushing ahead to do the same. One punch was thrown, which he blocked, and the second he narrowly dodged by leaning back. Not even bothering to try landing strikes himself he vanished, distancing himself from the twins carefully. As he backed off Kabocha came in behind him, grabbing him from behind to try and restrain him. Vegeta reached over his shoulders and grabbed the Saiyan by the armor, tossing him head over heels towards the twins, smiling strained seeing him line up with the other two. "Crap... A three on one huh?"

Takeshi touched down beside Viral carefully, trying not to look over his shoulder at how Vegeta was fairing right now. "Just hold still for a second, these things are easy to get off." There was a release button right on the backside of one of the cuffs, well out of reach of the one wearing them. For another person it was as simple as finding the little divet, and after examining the links carefully he pressed the release, smiling proudly as the cuff unlocked itself. Doing the same with the other one Takeshi tossed aside the restraints, looking at Viral carefully for any signs of being roughed up. Finding none he sighed, looking back up to his former squad and Vegeta squaring off uncertainly. "Viral...? Why are they after Yumi...?" he asked, not taking his eyes from his old team. "Do you know if they're the ones who took her? Or are they just here on my father's orders?"

Shu had generally no understanding to what she was on about but was trying his best to get his head around it, even if that took a while. He was sure that he would be able to work it all out eventually, he held enough interest in such things to give himself a desire to learn. Staring at Yumi with a fair smile, he tilted his head a little before nodding, “Ohhh, okay! I see! That’s weird, how strange”, he said quickly, giving his chin a quick scratch before looking around the area. While he was a little disorientated, he trusted Yumi and did think she really did know the way, “Okay, maybe you can get me some fruit too like you promised, yeah? Even if it won’t be as good as that fruit in the basket…”

The twins moved with great synergy as usual, their ability to almost connect each other working wonders. They didn’t have to worry about each other that much, they were able to watch out for each other and focus their strength into their attacks. Keeping up with Vegeta, they backed off a little themselves when Vegeta immediately disappeared with Kabocha being thrown at them instead. Moving to let him regain himself, they both looked to Kabocha before moving to attack once more, instead Choi vanishing and coming up from behind Vegeta to try and box him in, Kai going in to kick Vegeta while Choi tried to slam his fists down to throw Vegeta to the ground.

Viral continued with his struggle, twisting and turning his wrists to try and get them loose before Takeshi came over and unclipped them like they were nothing. Growling lowly, he shifted his arms around tiredly, giving his wrists a rub before holding his head. It was hardly anything he had planned to have done to him, he felt ashamed to let it happen in the first place. Groaning a little, he looked to Takeshi, giving him a bit of an angry glare before looking away again, “Hmph…she’s had that chip inside her the entire time…so they most likely came here because of that…” he spoke, sounding a little tired, “I knew they would come eventually…I just thought I would had been better by now so I could tear them apart myself…”

Vegeta knew the odds were against him, but until Viral was seen to he had to tough it out. With three capable fighters to watch out for he couldn't possibly keep tabs on every single one, and sure enough one of the twins pulled a fast one and vanished from the rest of the group. Focusing on his energy the Saiyan spun around to face him, being caught utterly off guard as the other twin drove a foot into his back, kicking him right into his brother. From there he felt a heavy blow connect with his back, knocking him towards the ground once more at a fair speed. Trying to catch himself before crashing he barely managed to hover a few meters above the ground, but with Kabocha still a viable fighter he looked up only to get a glimpse of a Ki blast hurtling in his direction. Cursing at having no time to counter he balled up slightly, taking the brunt of the attack and finally being pressed down into the dirt. The blast exploded on contact, scattering dirt and various debris about and leaving a sizable hole in its wake. Vegeta was hardly down from that, but the ringing in his ears and the disorientation from tumbling left him lying there for a moment.

"A thank you would be nice..." Takeshi mumbled, smiling slightly as he tossed the cuffs away. So Yumi still had a damn tracking chip, and his former squad of all people had to be the ones to come collect. He was supposed to save them too, but not if it meant sacrificing another friend in the process. Watching as Vegeta soon found himself on the end of the twin's attack he knew he had to go help, sighing as he got to his feet. "We'll settle this, then deal with her chip. Take a breather, then give us a hand, yeah?" Turning and preparing to go in for an attack Takeshi was made to brace himself as a blast was fired, gritting his teeth while trying to block debris from hitting the tired Beastman. When the dust settled he glared up at the trio in the air, furious that they were going to such lengths. "Dammit, cut the crap!" he screamed, letting his power shoot up before dashing skyward in a fit of fury.

Kabocha wanted to blast the other Saiyan again, keep him pinned, but that wasn't going to happen. Instead he was made to face Takeshi again, though this time he would hardly be caught off guard. In a straightforward attempt at a punch the noble leaned to the side, grabbing Takeshi's shirt and driving a knee up into his gut. Trying to knock him down as well he gritted his teeth as his elbow was caught, getting a fair hit to his jaw that nearly sent him spinning. A follow up punch to the gut made him keel over painfully, and after gripping his gut he drove a shoulder into the prince's stomach, knocking him away before chasing him down, throwing a haymaker and knocking him further back. "So much for compromising, you jerk! You're just going to let our parents be killed then, huh?!"

Seeing that at least one of the Saiyans were busy Vegeta focused on the twins, forcing a smile as he got out of the hole he was in. It was still a two on one, and against really coordinated brothers, but still better odds than before. Rising up into the air liesurely he dusted himself off, frowning at hearing the obnoxious one shouting at Takeshi. "You're only worrying about your own skins with no concern for anyone else. That makes you as bad as any other Saiyan," he stated plainly, his voice full of bitter resentment. Turning to Kai and Choi his anger became more visible as his energy shot up, trembling as his Ki surged. "And I will NOT let any damned Saiyan steal my friends!" Racing ahead in a fury Vegeta closed in on Choi, pretending to throw a punch before propelling himself sideways, instead trying to catch Kai upside the head with a hard elbow.

"Whatever you want to do is fine with me Shu," Yumi replied, smiling gently. If Takeshi was handling the business with the general then for the moment anyways they had no hurry. She did want to get back before anyone had the chance to worry about them, but another 20 minutes wouldn't hurt. Opting to keep going the Beastman stopped just as she took her first steps, her ears twitching nervously as she sensed something unusual. Looking around the area confused she tried to find the source, until a sudden, sharp surge in Ki did that for her. Off in the distance to their right she could make out the glow of a blast, and then the rising of several powers, each of which she recognized. Vegeta and Takeshi were there, as were the three who had kidnapped her before. How were they found, and were they fighting to keep her safe? The very thought of those three made her furious, her face twisting into an angry snarl as she dropped the basket. "Shu!" she said sharply, not taking her eyes from where the fighting was. "Get on my back, now. We need to go help, our friends are fighting Saiyans!"

Viral gave Takeshi a sharp look as if the very notion of giving him a thanks was an insult, he wanted to try and get himself out of the cuffs without the help. Slowly giving his wrists a massage, he kept his eyes off him as Vegeta continued to fight up above with it ending in him crashing to the ground. He didn’t know why Vegeta was so angry about it, by all means Viral should had been the angry one for having been humiliated and taken down so easily. With his hand slowly reaching for his neck, he stared at Takeshi as he blocked incoming debris only to fly off and leave him to assist Vegeta instead. If that happened again he’d probably be pretty defenceless, his mind immediately going to the thought that he should find somewhere to hide. He wasn’t fit at all to fight Saiyans, it was pathetic enough that he probably didn’t stand a chance against them because they all used Ki.

Kai and Choi were not going to let Vegeta’s words get to them, they had received a fair good deal of verbal abuse in their lives so this wasn’t exactly anything new. Keeping their guard up, Kai and Choi watched Vegeta who was still determined to let his anger control him. There was probably no way this guy could keep his focus if he was going to keep going like that and right now, Kai and Choi were indeed focused. They couldn’t let him win, they needed to complete their mission with just one of the experiments if they all wanted to continue living as they are. As Vegeta suddenly came straight back to them, Choi watched Vegeta carefully and went to block the attack, only for Vegeta to move and try to attack Kai. It was probably not best to make such an action when they were both fairly focused, ending with Kai catching Vegeta’s elbow while Choi immediately moved as quickly as possible and tried to do exactly what Vegeta had tried to do to Kai.

Shu nodded, following after Yumi with anticipation to what they could possibly do together while they had the time. He did hope that they would be able to find their way back here with how hard it was to find without the help of the Prince, trusting Yumi that she’d be able to lead him back here before they had to leave again. Walking on with Yumi, a tingling feeling in the back of his neck made him feel uneasy, but it wasn’t long before a blast in the distance suddenly echoed through the forest. Looking to Yumi immediately, he couldn’t understand what was going on before he suddenly squeaked, seeing her expression change followed by her dropping the basket, “Ah! Wha? Saiyans??” he squeaked, pulling back a little in hesitation before climbing onto her back, “But whatabout the fruit?? Animals will eat it…”
