[IC] Heros and Mutant Academy

Katherin was excited to go to a school with people like her. People who weren't exactly human. It would be nice not to have to hide her abilities. She had been struggling with them the last couple of years. It was like all the hormones that came with being a teenage interfered with her control. Now it wouldn't matter so much if she lost control. When she arrived she was directed to the gym.

Absinthe nibbled her thumb, looking around rather lost. It was her first day at real school, or as real as she thought it was, considering most of her life she spent time with only her paren- No, she couldn't think about them now, it was time to move on, maybe make friends. "I doubt it..." She spoke softly to herself. She headed to the gym, trying to avoid contact with the other students.

Brian Hated the idea of being forced to be at this school. Had he of been in a school that was more like public school but for mutants he would have felt more at ease. He was 18 and felt as though he was almost and adult. He was in a school of people who didn't understand that they were in a prison. At least that is how he saw it. On the bright side he could study other mutants as well as use his powers openly. He wore a white sleeveless One Piece shirt that had Zoro's pirate flag on it with black pin stripped shorts and grey DC sneakers. He didn't where a backpack because he would materialize everything he needed out of his tattoos. When arriving at the school he was directed to the gym. He saw the other arrivals gathering and walked toward them.

Alina and Blake entered the school and then headed for their first class."I can't believe we're at a school for people like us!"Alina cheerfully said,"Now we don't need to keep a secret!"Blake sighed,"Why do we need to go to a school anyway?"The twins entered the gym seeing several kids in there.

Brian watched as the twins entered the gym. "More arrivals I guess." Brian thought as he materialized a zippo lighter and flicked the top open and closed.

"Please be seated." A man and woman stood in the middle of the gym. They waited for the children to be seated. "We have a lot of information to cover."

The twins took a seat next to each other and looked at the man and woman.

Absinthe reluctantly took a seat as far away from everyone as possible, wiping her saliva off her thumb.

Brian laughed at the awkward moment. He looked at the twins and asked "What are you guys here for? What is your "gift"?" He said motioning quotations with his fingers while the light in his hand evaporated into a black smoke and traveled up his forearm and into his skin turning into a tribal mark on his skin.

"We're here for the same reason all the people are here are for."He pointed to his sister,"Alina can manipulate light,while I can manipulate darkness and the both of us can shift into wolves."

Katherin took a seat in the middle of the gym. She was eager to met everyone. She looked around studying those near her. She wondered what they could all do. She hoped to find out. She couldn't wait to meet everyone. She looked at the man and woman in the middle of the gym they seemed to be in charge. She wondered if they were teachers or what."

"That's cool." Brian said distracted by the new arrival. "I am what they call an animator. I can bend an element into whatever I want." Brian said smiling. "So are you allergic to silver too?" He asked whipping his glasses with a handkerchief he materialized.

"I don't think so..."He replied thinking.

"Well then you have the ability of one of the coolest supernatural monsters with out it's weakness then. I'd say that is pretty awesome. Brian said smiling and putting his glasses back on.

Soul Entered the Gym His hat low over his eyes He sat down behind a Finely dressed gentleman and boy and a girl. he kept silent his ominous tone coming off him like a Tsunami. as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small Knife which he had expertly engraved he viewed it with such awe and held it with such subtlety as if it would break if he used it

Brian looked ahead to see there were instructors watching everyone arrive. He wondered what the future held for them at this school. He couldn't help but feel sad because he couldn't see is family but he had to be strong so he could eventually. As he thought about his parents he accidentally set his chair on fire due to his attempt to form his lighter to fidget with. Instead he only formed lighter fluid and fire. He hopped up out of the seat and fell over another seat. The fire began to spread. "Shit" he though trying to materialize sand to smother the fire. He regained his composure and smothered the fire.

Absinthe couldn't help but giggle uncontrollably at the sight, falling on her side in a laughing fit.

Blake chuckled at Brian's accident while keeping his sister away from it.

"Sorry everyone." Brian said scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Do it again." Absinthe said, wiping her tears of joy away.
