Roxy carefully moved through the shadows. She moved slowly and cautiously through the shadows. She knew Felice was watching the shadows so she had to be careful. She couldn't move the shadows too much or he would notice. She throw another shadow knife at his right side before moving behind him.

"Maledetto!" Felice cursed as the knife sliced the side of his vest. It didn't feel as if it had done much to him, but if they continued coming out of the shadows at random, he knew that he could expect to receive a lot of injuries. "In that case!" He removed the batons from his vest and cracked them together before spinning the flames around his hands. "C'e luce!" (There is light.) Figuring that the more shadows he illuminated, the harder it would be for her to hide, he spun to light up any areas close to him and kept his eyes out for any signs of Roxy.

Roxy didn't know whether to laugh or curse. He had light the area near him eliminating her ability to get close but he had also given her more shadows to work with. This time she sent two daggers towards him. One from the right and one from the left.

Seeing the two daggers coming at him from the corners of his vision, Felice's eyes widened and he tossed one of the batons in the air. Locating his heartbeat didn't even take a second with the adrenaline in his system, and with a popping sound, he dropped below the paths of the daggers. Reaching one hand up, the doll-like figure on the ground caught the falling baton that was now almost taller than him and held it out behind him. The other baton had resized itself to fit the hand he held in front the same way it had before. Now that he was a smaller target, he ran toward where he thought he saw the second knife came from and threw the smaller baton.

"I can move faster in the shadows then you can on foot. I can jump from one on this side of the room." Roxy said from the shadows in front of him. "To this one." She said from the shadow behind him. "Within seconds. You have broken the shadows up giving me more places to hide."

Felice narrowed his eyes as he attempted to track the voice. As much as he hated it, she was right. He would need a lot of fast-moving flames to try to get her out of the shadows. "But you can't hit me like that, ragazza. I can't move as fast as the shadows, but you can't touch the light, either, can you?" He attempted to distract her a bit as he thought of a new plan. He didn't have the materials for his second favorite trick, but perhaps he had another one he could do. Pulling a long performance ribbon from his vest with one hand, he lit the end with the baton and cracked it like a whip. "Shall we dance instead? Show me what you have!"

"I can't move as fast in the light. But my shadow daggers work just fine in the light. They aren't as dangerous as my metal knives, yet, but they are good for distracting people." Roxy told him. She smiled as he light a long ribbon on fire. "More shadows for me to play with?" she teased. "Catch me of you can circus performer."

The boy smirked at the taunt. "Gladly, ragazza." He started twirling the ribbon around in the air, still holding the baton behind him. "Ah...but it's so mean of you to be stingy. At least give me something to look forward to?"

"Like what?" Roxy asked was she moved behind him. She stepped out of the shadows and kicked him in the butt." Kicking your butt? The three of you are child's play to me." she stepped back into the shadows. "You'll never survive the missions Vlad has in mind."

Changing her hair again to a light natural shade of red. Keeping it at that she began to think if she could do anything else.

Due to the fact that Felice was only about eight inches tall, the kick sent him flying. While in the air, though, he snapped the ribbon back to the shadows she was stepping into, hoping to catch her arm and get the ribbon to wrap around. "Don't underestimate me, ragazza! This whole situation is just another funhouse!"

Roxy hissed as the ribbon caught her arm just before she reached the safety of the shadows. "You are so lucky I don't have my metal knives." She growled low in her throat. She created a dozen shadow knives and sent them towards him in different directions. "I'll show you fun house." She stepped into the shadows. Suddenly all the lights in the room went out.

Taking advantage of the lack of light she moved away from Vlad. Gladly she moved to the other side of the room stumbling around the bleachers.

Pulling hard on his end of the ribbon, Felice propelled himself back in her direction, swinging the baton to deflect the knives. He still felt at least two slice past him, but it wasn't enough to worry him yet. "That's all it takes to get you mad, ragazza? I'm disappointed! Though I'm impressed at how accurate you got the place; here I was, thinking that you didn't know me at all." As soon as he landed, he cracked the ribbon against the floor to extinguish it, doing the same with the oversized baton. "You can do anything you want now, ragazza. Go ahead and try. That's what you want, right? Show me what to fear." He calmly stood in place, eyes closed and ears listening.

Roxy stood in the darkness. She didn't move. She knew a trap when she saw one. "Your wrong. I don't want to teach you fear. I want to teach you to fight. Because someday my life will depend on your ability to do so." She moved next to him and pressed a shadow knife to his throat. "What are you going to do now circus boy?"

"That's a lot of pressure, ragazza. I already have a life depending on mine." He opened his eyes, but didn't react to the knife yet. "It's a wonder that you'd stoop to my level. Why would you do that?" Bending backwards quickly away from the knife, he kicked her hand to knock it out. Popping back to his normal size, he reached up to catch it and stood there looking toward where he thought she was. "I think you'll be a good teacher. If I survive, that is."

"I am not allowed to kill you." Roxy told him. She figured she might as well get that out of the way. "I don't even have to make you wish you were dead." She told him as she kicked his feet out from under him. "I just have to make sure you survive and that your strong enough to keep me and the others alive."

Felice fell backwards and kept rolling until he was back on his feet. "Of course not, otherwise you would have done it already. I wasn't exactly being smart earlier." Now able to make out a vague figure in the dark, he spun and kicked toward her right side. "Ugh. Survival is easy compared to the rest of that, though. I've always hated having people depend on me. I should have known that it wouldn't be even that easy. If it weren't for that idiot..."

"Sorry to be a burden on you." Roxy told him with a grunt. She went down. Pain filling her body. Someone how he had managed to hit one of her bruises. The lights came back on and Vlad clapped.

"Excellent. Felice wins." Vlad said approaching them. He pulled Roxy to her feet. She winced and tried to pull away from him but he held tight."

"I don't want anything for this one. And I'm too tired to fight the other girl now, so I want to use one of my favors."
