Your first mission is going to be to investigate a Hive World--specifically, to try and find out why one of the Inquisitor's other acolytes managed some garbled communication, then nothing since.

Once there's four character sheets (do them however you like) then we're good to go.

Characters:
Virgil, the Adept
Praetia, Guardsman
Axel, Tech-Priest
Sister Arturia
Ethel, Scum

Out of curiosity: Will we be bothering with counting our ammunition?

If you're using that much ammunition that exact count starts to be a problem, something may have gone very, very wrong. Or you're all terrible shots. Besides, I'd only make you start tracking it if you've had a long time away from a chance to resupply.

Alright. I was basically wondering since Adepts only begin with 6 bullets to the stub revolver, which seems rather insufficient.

Anyway, I think I am done.

Virgyl, in all his Adept glory.

If there's anything awry and needs fixing, or whatever, feel free to say so.

PS. I've been tracking my rolls here.

Not seeing anything wrong so far, and I don't really mind where you roll stuff, so long as the rolls are shown. XD

So how are things coming along?

Should we by any chance be on the look-out for a new fourth player or can we count on the space nun?

I've been talking it over with Raineh all this time. Just didn't want to post anything until I'd finished her.

Awesome. Just making sure.

Because I'd be terrible at being on the look-out for a 40K enthusiast who'd find a PbP format on TTRPGs intruiging.

As a warning, if psykers show up, they're using the Rogue Trader/Black Crusade (possibly Deathwatch?) rules rather than Dark Heresy's.

Because a ruleset that would have Eldar Farseers and the Emperor spawn demonic armies whenever they did anything is questionable at the absolute best.

You made a typo there, but do not worry, I fixed it for you.

I think the Great Crusade would've went rather differently if the Emperor could do that, really.

The point is that the Dark Heresy rules are terrible since the more experienced, and thus supposedly less-likely to unleash demonic hordes, psykers are the ones who are more likely to cause everything to go to hell. Everyone has basically the same chance in the other ruleset, but at least the more experienced psykers can be more powerful than someone only just learning to use their abilities without causing demonic incursions.

Good thing you mention this.

I've been considering what I'd go about playing if my Adept drops dead at any point (let's be realistic, he will) and Psyker is looking like the most likely choice for me.

That's... probably not the best idea given how much modification would have to be done to the career path for it to fit. Hm.
