I really like the nations that are popping up so far, and it looks like everybody has a very clear idea of what they want their faction to be. Hopefully we can get an actual thread up relatively soon (no rush, of course), as I'm very excited to see how everyone interacts with one-another.

Still need to hammer out a history for Nordamark, but most of everything else is set.

Basically Nordamark was once a major maritime power during the feudal era and age of sail, with a large and powerful navy and even larger merchant fleet. An economic, military, and political power player once. But with the age of steam, decades of peace, political power shifts towards nations of industry and airships, Nordamark's slipping behind on the military and political fronts because it can't industrialize fast enough and doesn't have large amounts of coal, made worse by apathy of the previous ruling nobility until the beaurucrats of state made a quiet changeover. So it is now refocusing on its economic and "soft power" strengths to keep up until it can find a way to build up its industry and technology, and avoid getting into wars in the meantime. A tricky prospect considering Nordamark is a nation-sized moneymaking machine.

This isn't even going to start is it? I think I'm going to pull out, this is weighing down my potential fun.

Hope it launches, but in my honest opinion, and without being mean, this has lacked GM support from the moment it opened. That alone sends off alarm bells in my mind.

Worse comes to worse, me or someone else can create the one and take over. We've put some significant effort into the RP, so it would be really stupid if we just dropped it.

Thought about doing it myself, but I got enough going on already.

GMing it and playing it would be a bastard, unless you guys would be happy for me to act as GM only; in which case, I wouldn't mind. If so, let me know - though I imagine I'd produce a new map, with pre-set territories for players to choose, if I did it.

All that said, if one of you fellahs want to take a full whack at it, go right ahead.

Well, I see that someone is trying to shove me out. Well, Skylar, if you're going to make a Steampunk NRP, go ahead. I don't need anyone that can't wait a few hours or so and I'm for such wouldn't want anyone in my RP, that goes behind my back and stabs me. That's childish and rude as hell in my books. I was at school, in the 11th grade, and was busy learning about shit. Plus, I would never give up on a RP unless I have personal issues, which I don't have any. So will you all stop making a NRP, that you'll 'based' on my work.

If you want a Co-GM, I already got one in my mind, I might just ask him if he is willing to take on the task.

And, what do you all need to clarify? The timeline of tech would be this. Go up to 1850 and that's where we are with the tech issue.
