The Coin Rippers are a completely blank canvas, and I'm fairly certain I don't have the time to create a gang. Why don't you make it up as we go along and I will play along

Hope this is good.

Name: (First name) Ark'kruy'ek (Pack name) Ark'ark'araou

Race: Gnoll

Race Description: I'll fill this out if you need me to describe Gnolls more.

Age: 20
Gender: Male

Appearance:
Also stands at 7ft tall.

Personality: Being a Gnoll, Ark'kruy'ek has a pack mentality. Their lives revolve around a pecking order established early on among their packmates and family. When traveling away from other gnolls, this behavior plays itself out with friends and acquaintances that the gnoll makes among the other races. Some are surprised and alarmed at the threatening gestures and rough housing that goes on when a gnoll first meets a new companion, but soon enough the racket stops when the pecking order has been established to the satisfaction of the gnoll.

Ark'kruy'ek believe that pecking orders and tests of strength with threats peppered all in between are the keys to survival. To other races, this makes them appear course and cruel, but among themselves they have a highly developed sense of loyalty, as well as friendship. Their motives are primitive, based on getting enough food, water, shelter, and warmth to make it to the next sunrise, and they are not above taking what they need from those weaker than themselves, because they see this as a natural part of life. Along those same lines, gnolls respect power and will listen to those who demonstrate their power with threats and displays.

Clothing/Armor: His armor consists of a mixture of leather and iron plating. These often form around his legs, chest, shoulders, and arms. His joints are however uncovered allowing for easier mobility even when wearing it. He has no armor covering his midsection or lover back. His hands and feet are also uncovered. He does not wear enough to block a direct hit but it is enough to save his life if he were to get hit in his armored areas. His right arm is also armored to the point for him to use it as a shield.

Weapons: Ark'kruy'ek wields a large steel european long sword in his left hand that most humans would have trouble lifting with both. He carries this sword in his hands at all times no matter the circumstances. He also has a chained steal tipped whip at his waist that is easily accessible for his right hand.

Skills/Abilities:
Being a Gnoll, he posses physical strength, stamina, and speed greater than that of a humans.

Expert in hand to hand combat and a variety of weapons ranging from swords, maces, and axes.

Is a expert hunter and tactician.

Magic: None

Inventory: Ark'kruy'ek doesn't carry much outside of his clothing and weapons. He carries some dead rabbits for food if he gets lost and some herbs that can help treat sickness symptoms such as fever, nausea, drowsiness, and headaches. Some of the herbs he carries also act as muscle relaxers.

Backstory: When Ark'kruy'ek was born, he was given his name Ark'kruy'ek and his pack name Ark'ark'araou. As a young Gnoll, he was trained to hunt and kill. Becauses Gnolls are mostly nomadic, Ark'kruy'ek spent much of his time on the move with his pack. During his packs movements, he often came across other Gnoll packs which often resulted in conflict. It was during fights like these that Ark'kruy'ek was recognized as a true member of the pack and thus developed his loyalty to them. His pack had often gone through tough times, usually being hunted by elves and an assortment of other races which caused him to have a certain aspect of hatred toward them. Though his pack managed to survive, they found themselves in the land of Estermere. It wouldn't take long for Ark'kruy'ek to find out that his pack wasn't welcome. Once more he found his pack being hunted by the inhabitants which led his pack to raiding small and weaker villages for resources to defend themselves and survive. Ark'kruy'ek believed that the entire comflict would lead to the end of his pack and instead of having a fight to the finish that it would take a much less brutish way to seek peace and began to steal books when he went on raids. Gnolls used the same alphabet so it made it easier to read and from there he taught himself how to speak it though it was never perfect. Ark'kruy'ek began to wonder why the pack was so hated until he found out his pack leader was being paid for betraying the pack. Ark'kruy'ek revealed this to the others of his pack and told him to kill the pack leader. Ark'kruy'ek challenged the pack leader and succeeded in killing him, thus making him the new pack leader.

Ark'kruy'ek realized that his pack was suffering and sought to make peace. He made a deal with what he called 'the pack leader' of Estermere. In exchange for the services of his pack, Estermere would ensure domestic safety for his pack. These services ranged from scouting, hunting, hunting runaway criminals, and a variety of other tasks that would revolve around the packs knowledge of the lad and various skills that the Gnolls had. Ark'kruy'ek knew that this was a shaky alliance but one that kept his pack safe from a lot of dangers. Over the years of the shaky alliance the his pack had made, there was still question about his pack and hatred toward them. It wasn't until he and his pack helped fight off another and much larger pack and saved the lives of several nobles. After this, Ark'kruy'ek and his pack lived in relative peace with the people and nobles of Estermere. Though his pack does not live in the cities, his pack keeps to the lands around them and still likes to keep to themselves for their kind as well as them are still hated by many people.

Other: Ark'kruy'ek and his pack took to living in the plains that surround Estermere. Their camp is rather well formed and its size is similar to a village.

@BkBurke: Alright let me take a look at... Well since I've been calling Gnolls so far after Beatles members, I'mma call this one Paul instead of the Proper Correct Name. And I'm going to bullet point a few things I'd like to know. ((And to the new Half-Elf, I will go over yours shortly after I finish with the Gnoll. Who I'm mostly going for as I saw/noticed theirs first.))

1.) I'm just going to ask out of curiosity, who is the Dominant Female of the Pack? After all, Gnolls are essentially Hyena People, with the Females being the larger and more dominant members of the pack.
2.) What weapons does your Gnoll actually have on them? That serrated katana in the picture? Which, isn't nearly as awesome as a traditional longer European blade, with awesome reach and typically forged out of better metals that didn't need constant refinement and folding to be rendered useful. (Though the Celts had to do the same sort of thing with their swords as it wasn't really pure. Anyway rambling.) Plus they had similar weights to the European Swords, but not as good as a reach as them.
3.) Just a comment, Gnolls in general aren't 'super-duper better' compared to humans. Like in D&D they tend to be a relatively low level encounter mob. They are like Kobolds in a way, as the numbers and swarm is what truly makes them frightening. But a lone Gnoll? Not too much. But yes, they would have a bit more stamina/strength to a typical human. Well females more so, as they are the Superior Ones in Gnoll Society... But ah anyway.
4.) Oh also from D&D the Gnoll's average life-span is about 30 years, so... why is the guy so old compared to other Gnolls?
5.) So lot of armor on the right arm, to basically act as a shield? How much does that impact him from using, say a weapon there?
6.) What kind of sickness are we talking about with the herbs?
7.) So... These Gnolls were known for Raiding Smaller Villages. Thaaat makes it a tad... 'difficult' to see how they established 'friendly/neutral' relationships with Estermere. Oh and especially considering how the Gnolls JUST attacked them again. That makes it seem like, oh peasants wanna kill those bastards and forgo any kind of relationships with them.
7a.) Speaking of Raiding, as that was how you stated the pack got their supplies? What does the pack do NOW? Have they established holdings in some lands outside of Estermere, to settle down a camp at where they peacefully grow food and raise cattle and stuff? Gnolls being civilized in such a way makes it more likely the people of Estermere would not send in people to exterminate those disease ridden monsters... Because, even with the Gnolls doing stuff like chasing down thugs, and such... You can imagine how hard it'd be to keep an alliance with Unholy Mongrels, if they weren't civilized in anyway.
8.) Why did the pack choose Paul (Ark'kruy'ek) to make a deal with the 'Pack Leader' of Estermere? Why him in particular?

Jeez, well those are the primary questions I would like to know the answers to.
Quick Edit: I did enjoy the picture of the Gnoll. Fine picture. Also so many people will have trouble pronouncing that Gnoll's name. I can feel it... somewhere...

@annalynne_d

Alright, now I'm going to take a look at Julia.
1.) Alright, so I'm going to ask why does she have the petite frame, when she uses a Great-sword as her primary weapon? You'd think constantly using it as her go to weapon would develop her upper-body. I mean, sure Greatswords aren't too heavy (they tend to be around like 4-5 pounds). But, when she has such strong legs, girl should know how to use them... Seems like having say, a stilleto tucked away in the shoe would be rather dangerous. (Then again, Chun Li is awesome, so biased on that... But can you blame me, that kick flurry... so rad.)
2.) 100 coins of what currency? Gold? Silver? Copper?
3.) How much travel rations does she carry on her? How many days could she live off the rations if she solely stuck to eating them?
4.) What exactly is in the cooking kit? Apparently it is small enough to keep on the belt?
5.) How far would you say the Moonshae Isles are from the Country of Rostguard? (Aka the place where our fair town Estermere is in)
6.) Why did the Mercenary Guild she work for teach her stuff for thievery? Usually Mercenary Guilds are for, hiring out Mercs to use for War and such. Did it have a secondary function as a Thieves Guild?
7.) Is she still associated with that Mercenary Guild?
8.) Now then, this I am curious on. She appeared not interested in finding her true family when a man claiming to be her Uncle entered her life. What caused the change to make her want to learn who her true family is? And of course, does she have any leads on any member of her family?

Anyway, those are just a few questions I'd like answered if you'd be so kind.

1. The female thing actually depends, many interpretations actually state that females are smaller than the males. Some D&D websites stated that the males can grow to 8 ft while females only to 6 1/2 ft.

2. I did mention a steel sword but I didn't describe the sword itself so I will describe it better and decide to go with the traditional European long sword.

3. I never stated that his physical attributes were "super duper better" I stated that they were greater.

4.as the life span, I wasn't able to find how old they really got which led to the number you see for age, I'll change it.

5. Being that the armor on his right arm is thicker and heavily plated, this will slow down his speed with a wielded weapon in that arm, however, it would usually depend on the weapon, being that it is a whip, which are usually light in comparison to other weapons, it wouldn't do much, however, there still is the motion it takes to actually effectively use a whip which will be slowed.

6. With the herbs, that is my fault that I didn't specify symptoms and not the sickness itself, I will fix that.

7. It was stated that the raiding was a result of being hunted by the inhabitants of the land, thus it required more resources to defend themselves and survive. As for What the pack does now, I did state that the Gnolls inhabit the lands surrounding the cities, Gnolls usually stick to living in forests and plains and tend to avoid mountains. I can specifically state that they live in the plains if that is what is needed.

8. As said, "Paul" revealed the intention of the previous and killing them. Gnolls usually respect and respond to those who show power. Being that he killed the previous pack leader and has demonstrated his strength through the conflicts his pack endured, this made him well respected among the pack and so when he proposed his idea of the alliance, it was respected and believed that coming from Paul that it might be a good course of action.

Alright. Well tell me when you got the changes done, and I'll make sure to check it again and give you the full approval. Thank you for answering the questions. I'd say if the Pack is, tolerated, they'd probably have picked up some semblance of civilization, and of course not piss the the town. And for the better, how much better would you quantify the Gnoll's 'betterness' in strength/stamina so to speak.

Anyway, finish up those changes, and I'll go through again, check everything is on the up and up, and welcome you into Estermere.

Will do. As for how greater their strength/stamina, I'm not very familiar myself on how much in physical superiority they are against humans. I don't want to go op and say they toss humans in the dirt completely but I did state that he wields a sword with one hand where many would struggle to hold it with two. If that is too far then let me know but I will change what was requested.

Just to specify, the things I needed to change were age, living location, what the herbs did, and I'm not sure what else. If there is other things I needed to change then please let me know.

Everything seems to be in order. OH, anyone vying for Pack Leader? After all... when the Alpha is away a lot...

Also swords tend not to be too particularly heavy, actually. Like a Greatsword tends to be around 4-5 pounds.
But as for that for an example of Gnoll's, more natural strength, as compared to humans... It seems feasible. I'll continue to think about it but for now it seems fine.

Ah that multi-use herb... Don't take 'em all. Tirarian needs 'em for Health Pots, and Elric needs them for Barber-surgery.

Aaaand yeah, as Bee did bring up. And I thought I mentioned it earlier, it seems really difficult to keep relations up with that. Even with helping out against another Gnoll Pack, and doing a bit of grunt work.

Barber-surgery? Like he got hurt in a barber incident? That has to suck.

As for the alpha thing. I never really thought of that. Guess it could be Paul vouching for now if that's ok.

As for Estermere getting over the raids, they technically didn't, I did state that the pack usually keeps to themselves because they are still hated by a lot of people. Though they are legally at peace with the pact, it doesn't mean the hatred is gone.

Barber-surgeon. He's a barber-surgeon. Fun Profession, it is a very fun profession. And figured as your guy WAS the Alpha, upon killing Pack Leader and taking over. And since he has to commute to deal with the Humans to make them NOT WANT TO PURGE YOUR DISEASE RIDDEN KIND WITH FIRE! ... Someone else would want to take over.

I suppose if someone wanted to make a character layer down the road for the pack then JTS an opportunity but the one vouching would probably be an NPC for now.

I'll deal with that NPC for ya! Along with many other NPCs... Anyway, yeah, things look fairly good on your end. Welcome aboard. I'll make a new page for the Cast we actually have... Cause that needs an update.

But yeah. Welcome Aboard, feel free to post. Everyone say hello. Aaand most importantly...

YOU DISEASE RIDDEN MONGRELS, YOUR SPECIES ARE A BLIGHT TO CIVILIZATION AND YOU WILL BE PUUUUUUUUUUUUURGED! ALL OF YOUR KIN WILL WITHER AND DIE, AND WE SHALL END THE GNOLLISH MENACE ONCE AND FOR ALL!
