Controlling an object's momentum is basically telekinisis but the momentum carries on after control is removed. Telekinisis, of course, would also be effecting an objects momentum, though.

She can only control it as a whole or else would be too powerful for tier 7 if she can rip people to pieces from the inside.

I've got two characters in the works, just trying to decide which one to finish up first. I've got one at a low-medium tier, possible three or four depending on the abilities I choose, and the other is easily tier seven with the capability to go higher when and if the plot permits it. He could also technically go to a lower tier with a few personal restrictions. Anyway, I've got a Dragonslayer and a Time Warrior, and I don't know which one to finish first.

Hey guys, what is this measurement of impact force with tons? Is it some sort of pressure unit?

And Laios, you should totaly choose the lower tier one. Join our club. :3

Hey Vordak, i was gonna use a demon werewolf too :| What are the chances.
I guess i'll choose a different character, just in case they end up too similar.

Impact force is the equivalent mass of an object upon striking another object, as dictated by its velocity and resting mass. It can be measured in joules, pounds, grams, tons, kilograms, etc. The only reason tons are used is because that's what's used to define lifting strength, and it makes more sense to just stick to that.

Thanks, its clear to me now. :3

And Laliman, i don't think it will be much of problem if we have to similar characters. There isn't much of a chance of that happening anyways, since im trying to make an abominous mageblade/werewolf mixup which will be far from the traditional understanding of 'demonic' and werwolf'.

(Edit: Missed some things, and another for details.)

Name: Roas Drasle

Age: 29

Height: 6' 2"

Weight: 240 lbs (No armor)

Physical Description: Standing taller than an average human, his dark cyan hair is cut short and unkempt. Scars cover nearly all of his body, telling tales of past battles both won and lost. Three particularly deep scars run down the left side of his face, partially hidden behind a white cloth eye patch. Farther down, one could see the heavy steel plate mail he wore nearly at all times. It was crafted of Steel and Mythril. Forged by a master smith, it had survived countless battles, shrugging off sword blows and arrowheads with relative ease.

Psychological Description: While he is not the smartest person, Roas has courage and tenacity to make up for it. He keeps a calm demeanor at nearly all times, but can speak with a commanding voice. He will always try to talk his way out of a fight first, as he has made many allies this way. However, he is also eager to fight, so failing a first attempt at diplomacy will most certainly lead to combat. Oddly, he has also made just as many allies with the second method. Roas sees combat as as a test of skill and likes to keep the playing field as fair as possible, tending to look down upon despicable tactics.

Tier: With Dragonslayer: 4. Without Dragonslayer: 2

Powers/Abilities/Skills: On his own, Roas ranks among the strongest swordsmen that have ever lived, able to swing a great sword with the speed and precision that Knights could only dream about, but he was still only just above the greatest that a human could achieve. However, with The Dragonslayer in his hands, he rose even above that. The sword increases his human strength and his skin hardens like thick leather. So long as he is near the weapon, he has the strength to lift nearly 1 ton. With or without his blade, Roas has put little training into running or sprinting, and can only run up to 20 mph on level ground.
He is a skilled swordsman and relies on heavy swings and quick wits to keep his opponent within striking distance of his blade. He has access to powerful fire magic, but tends to prefer his steel unless attacked at a range.
His dragon blood grants another passive skill, resistance to extreme weather. While The Dragonslayer is near him, his blood runs much warmer than a normal human. This keeps his body warm in sub-zero temperatures. In the presence of extreme heat, his blood helps to even out and distribute it, causing Roas' body to feel unaffected up to 200° F.
The spells he has at his disposal, while limited in number, are made of pure Dragon fire. Unlike normal flames, Dragon fire cannot be extinguished by water or lack of oxygen and burns twice as hot, though dissipates rather quickly. It reaches temperatures up to 3500° F.
Spells
Ixen Bluthel - 1 tick. Fires a small bolt of Dragon fire, exploding on contact with no lingering flames. Only effects target.
Ixen Dos - 2 ticks. Creates a five foot square wall of dragon fire directly in front of him. Pressure from the flames forces objects upward, should they try to pass through it. Lasts 2 ticks and leaves lingering flames on the ground.
Ixen Fethos - 3 ticks. Creates a dome of dragon fire in a five foot radius around Roas' fist, forcing him to be crouched to use it. Lasts 2 ticks and must be focused during that time. Leaves lingering flames at the edge of the dome.
Ixen Garmth - 4 ticks. Forms and fires a large ball of explosive dragon fire that arcs towards the target before erupting in a twenty five foot diameter blast. Cannot charge any dragon fire for three ticks after use. Leaves lingering flames on the ground in the blast radius.

Addition: Lingering Flames - Any non-liquid substance in direct contact with dragon fire becomes afflicted with lingering flames unless otherwise stated. Lingering Flames cause severe burns and dissipate on their own after 2 ticks.

Equipment:

The Dragonslayer - The Legendary blade forged by Bahamut and gifted to a brave Dragon Knight in the Battle with Tiamat. Passed down through the centuries until it reached Roas' hands. The Blade can take a number of different forms, each one increasing its power by a small margin. The Blade also serves as the source of Roas' Draconic magic. Without the blade, the warrior would become much weaker. Each form of the blade takes 1 tick to complete, and they must be done in order.
The Dragonslayer's first and default form is that of a wide bladed great sword, six feet in length.
The second form takes the name Dragonbuster. The blade shortens down to five feet and increase in width as the blade shapes itself like a flame. This form increases the strength of Roas' fire magic by fifty percent.
The third form, Raserei, yields a much wider blade. As its weight is increased, so is its striking power, increasing Roas' max force by fifty percent.
Einlanzer, the fourth form, takes the shape of an exquisite flamberge. Decreasing its weight considerably from its previous form, and increasing Roas' speed by fifty percent.
The final form, Ragnarok, is the most powerful form that Roas can wield. While it takes the greatest toll on him to unleash, it increases his power, strength, and speed by one hundred percent. However, he cannot keep the weapon summoned for long, and it can only be done in dire circumstances. The form can only be sustained for a max of 5 ticks. When it is dispelled, the sword returns to its default and Roas' abilities are diminished by 50% for 3 ticks.

Knight's Plate: Forged by a master blacksmith, this armor covers all of Roas' body with the exception of his head. Lightweight and durable, it does not hinder his precise movement. Through years of training while wearing the armor, he can jump and roll without penalty or injury. It is custom built to fit his body, and would not be as effective if worn by another.

Loot Items
Rilirki - A small hand crossbow built onto a bracer. Worn on the forearm, it is loaded by hand and has a simple trigger mechanism. A string tied to the trigger release, with a small ring on the opposite end. Can be fired with a finger gesture when the ring is worn.

Draconic Tome - An ancient book written entirely in an ancient Draconic language. Should one be able to read such a language, it would recount the tale of a Great War against a vicious Dracolich and state the names and abilities of a number of Draconic artifacts and weapons of great power.

Emblem of the Hawk - A small steel badge with a curious symbol on it. It matches some of the finer details of Roas' armor.

Couple of things LeeRoy is probably going to ask:

How strong does he become in the presence of The Dragonslayer, and how much does it harden his skin? Stating that he is as strong as a younger wyrm does us no good, as we do not know how strong that is.

What kind of toll does Ragnarok take on him, and how long can he keep it summoned?

You mention that it burns twice as hot as normal fire, but what materials is the standard fireball capable of igniting (since it wouldn't have a fuel for a reference to determine temperature until it ignited an object)?

My own questions:

Where is the center-point of the fire dome? If it's on the ground at his feet, his head would get burned off every time he used it without crouching (since the bio doesn't mention any special resistance to the flames).

How quickly can the sword take a new form, and is there any kind of a charging/recharging mechanic to it?

How is the fire countered, if not by dousing or starving it? Even his least powerful spell would be able to burn until everything around it was ash, and if it ignited a person, it would only be a matter of time before they die or have to cut off the burning portion of their body. That seems too powerful for a tier 4 character, considering that all he would have to do is hit a tier 7 with one fireball then walk away and wait (or he could potentially burn down the entire arena just by flaming one tree).

(Edit: I've edited the post to include those particular issues.)
Taken note. I will add some finer details shortly. I've been working on this on and off during slow times at work, so I jump around from thing to thing when I type. I was bound to miss a few things. Let me know if there are any other questions or comments.

Ok, so he can lift 290 tons (only ten tons less than the max), can move at mach 5.9 (only .1 below the max), has created his own all-encompassing martial art (at the max), and can survive an artillery bombardment (also the max).

I've got the nagging suspicion he won't be accepted. >_>

He has no equipment and his only power is that he is at max durability and powers he has no resistance to magic, no ranged attacks, and on top of it all other characters of that tier can match him in at least one attribute. He is basically a super charged human martial artist either way he was fun to write and I can always nerf him. Figured it'd be interesting to see which is better to have lots of magical and equipment tricks or just all out stat badass.

but yeah to be honest your probably right in that he wont get accepted. However I like this character and with a little work am going to try to incorporate him I want an Aura using martial artist without a weapon just to differ from everyone else's reliance on them. Also ive never attempted to make such a high tier character so I honestly just kind of winged it.

Not having ranged attacks is little consolation when he can move faster than any bullet in real life, and hit harder than a fighter jet auguring into the ground at top speed, AND take solid hits from Jean without going down.

I don't see anything in the way of discrepencies on Roas' sheet aside from the designs of the swords being awful clunky. As well as how long the flames last, put them down as lasting 3 ticks and we're all good to go. Also, put up a running speed, I can't seem to find one on the CS.

I'll put him up as accepted because I expect you'll find that agreeable.

I like the mechanic, and I'm sure it'll prove to be interesting to read.
Drall, c'mon. You knew this wasn't acceptable.

Drop all of his stats to about 1/3. What they currently are. He's a complete Master of All Trades right now, and he's absolutely a Tier 8 as it stands.

Drop him down to a Jack of All Trades and we'll be cool.
Lalliman, Gregor is a cool character, he's acceptable as is.
I really like this CS Important, it's an incredibly unique ability. Though I believe it might be hard to pull off.

It's acceptable as is.

The very little time to react thing for me would be the biggest problem, especially because they'd likely have no idea he's even charging an attack to begin with. Most characters won't bother staying more than 12 feet away so would likely always be in the danger zone. I would say it would be less OP if you could see him charging some evil looking mist that has to connect with the person to possess them or something like that.

I dunno. It's not necessarily overpowered, but it may simply be unsuitable for competitive play. It's so hard to make rules on when it would or wouldn't work, it ends up mostly arbitrary. And because being instakilled by mind control isn't a satisfying way to die, everyone will end up resisting it, unless they're already so weakened that it's little more than a finishing move. If you were to take out the ability to kill people with it and only use it to screw with them, it'd be far more usable.

Besides, you may find some problems with the Gamo Tan too, seeing as it takes effect instantly and is thus undodgeable. You could say that someone could jump out of it quickly to avoid damage, just like how sticking your hand in an oven very briefly doesn't hurt, but that brings up a problem with the wording. You say it heats up not just the air, but whatever is in the area, including human flesh. You could boil someone's heart, killing them instantly without a saving throw so to speak.
