-Eien : Heavenly Host-

"(That isn't going to do so well as a bandage, but it should work for now I guess...)"

As he let the grout the bandage on, he took his hand away from the back of her head, noticing his hand was glistening with a crimson hue. What else did he expect from trying to stop the blood drive out of the back of her head. He pushed himself up from the musty wooden floor, and swiftly dusted himself off before resolving to look for clues. There wasn't really much to say about this place, other than its strangely arranged desks, and minor holes in the floor that had possibly formed from the passage of time. As they searched, the due managed to obtain a newspaper article about the building they were trapped in. The clipping sent a shiver down his spine, as he felt he had heard about it somewhere before remembering about the horror story one of his friends told him.

"(Wait a minute, didn't Satoshi and his friends say something about getting dragged into a place known as Heavenly Host? Plus, Jinata mentioned something about them telling him about a cursed method to how they got to that place... Now that I think about it, we must of performed that dark ritual, because it almost felt too coincidental that his story and this newspaper article would conjure itself up from thin air... Did Mayuri know this would happen?... No, there's no way she would want this to happen, she isn't that type of person... I need to safeguard her and any other people we meet... There's no telling what could happen next.)"

As he finished reading the article, he felt a sense of dread tingle inside of him. What horrors would he see at this ominous, and frightful place. As that sense of horrid wonder lingered over him, he decided that they couldn't stay in this classroom together, and decided to take leave. He felt he was missing something in the classroom, but brushed it off for the time being. He beckoned Mayuri over to him, so the two wouldn't be segregated from each other if fate dealt its hand.

"We should leave... I don't see anything else that could be important. We can linger around here for a little while longer if you want to see if there is anything of use, but for now, I'm ready to go. Once you're ready to go, come to my side and stay close, because I don't want to get seperated from you for more than a second... Who knows what might transpire once we leave this classroom."

"(This place feels very deceptive, as if we are within the epitome of despair...)"

Mayuri looked away from the cupboard and nodded, immediately returning to Eien's side. "There wasn't all that much in the cupboard as far as I could tell... The glass was too fogged to see...although..." She trailed off, as though she were about to say something, though shook her head in regret. "No matter, it's not really important..."

As they exited the classroom and entered out into the hallway, the pair found themselves faced with two passages. To their immediate left was an intersection where one could chose to go either right or further left. To their immediate right was a darkened hallway that they couldn't quite see the end of, however a dim, glowing light hovered in place, much like a flashlight, yet illuminated nothing. It bobbed up and down and kept doing so. Almost directly beside their classroom was a door, presumably to yet another classroom.

"P-perhaps it'd be a wise idea to map out the area? You know, to try and get a feel for this place? Or do you think we should try to deal with this first? I'm OK to keep going for a little while; the wound isn't too severe." Mayuri explained her thoughts as she stared down both halls, seemingly more drawn towards the one with the intersection.

Yosuke smiled to himself as he got up and stopped poking Naomi. He loved how he got all up in his face and insulted him. She stood up to him and his douchebaggery, and spit more acid than he ever could. He admired her so much, but was surprised when she questioned his admission to hell. "Well, I don't believe God should be worshiped, all he did was whip up a buncha tools who hate each other. Also I'm an asshole, so I don't think he'd let me into the great playground in the sky." Yosuke said, as he obliged her command to allow her his support as a crutch. He slid under her arm and put his arm around her, grinning like a tool. "How romantic, eh?" Yosuke joked, wriggling his eyebrows "By the way, sorry if I hurt your side when I elbowed you, just wanted a gently nudge. Just don't know my own amazing strength sometimes." He apologized. "So, where we going, commander? That door over there looks like our best bet." He said, pointing to an exit to their left.

Naomi ignored his comment about it being romantic, she was using him as a talking crutch and didn't think of him as much else really," Your stupid if you think your going to hell for being a dumbshit and not believing in the god, I once believed in that bullshit but when my entire family died and I was alone, I stopped believing in that bullshit since he didn't kill me in that car crash." Naomi told him.

" No we should head to the other door in the room that could lead us outside of this room, or we could bash each other's heads into the walls here and kill ourselves." Naomi suggested, she didn't like it when people stated the obvious out to her," If your in hell with me over not believing in god, then god is fucking retarded, my reasons for being here is more serious then yours. I've been killing the families of students from our school and other schools, for you to be sent here with a murder is retarded." Naomi told him ready to walk at the same pace with him." And if you grope me, I'll make you regret it."

However, no matter how hard she tried, the ropes just wouldn't budge, as though they were made of metal or were a part of the desk itself or something. The scraping drew nearer and nearer, before stopping right outside the entranceway to the science room...The door swung open with incredible force, and there, standing in the doorway, was what could only be described as a monstrosity. A man, who towered even over Jun, with zombie-like features, bloodied, pale skin, and a large metal pipe that seemed to be the cause of the scraping sounds, stepped into the science room. He didn't seem to take much notice of Jun, despite her panic and obvious positioning atop a bench, and just continued to walk inside......dragging someone else in with him...The man groaned as he lifted the poor girl that he'd been dragging, not so much out of struggle but rather because of some kind of instinctual moaning. As with his body, he sounded just like a zombie, with a monotone that could almost be described as inhumane. Jun could now also hear the faint whimpering of the girl that the zombie-man had dragged along as he prepped her up onto the table, clamping her down with metal chains......and letting the blood pour from her head onto the cold, dry, floor below...The girls head had been quite visibly smashed in on the right side (the side facing Jun), where a large dent had caved in practically half the poor girls face. Her eye had become nothing but a white-grey mush that blended with the blood that pooled from various body wounds. Loose pieces of grey matter could also be seen, to Jun's horror. And yet, this young girl was still alive..."Uuuuuuaaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhh..." The man moaned as he lifted up the metal pipe. It rose well above his head, only falling short of the ceiling by a matter of inches, as the girls whimpers turned into screams."No... No, please! NO! NOOOOO-!" Her words just became agonising cries after that, as the huge man swung down with impossible force, cleaving both the girl's legs in two and even leaving a dent in the table! Bones were crushed as he made slow progression on her body, destroying her arms, legs, and chest, all the while with the girl screaming in absolute pain and terror. No doubt if her face weren't so best up Jun would be able to see tears...The screams seemed to echo on forever, however with one final crushing blow, the girls head was nothing short of obliterated, sending chunks of flesh flying, even with a couple pieces landing on Jun. Her entire body had been pulverised -- essentially a melted human marshmallow -- soaking the desk and floor beneath in blood and gore. The sight was sickly - absolutely horrifying - though the worst was yet to come......as Jun saw the man had turned his attention to her, now...

"NO! SOMEONE HELP! HEEELP!"

Jun could scarcely realize she was screaming as she was tugging on her bonds as hard as she could, but every step he took, the more hopeless she felt. After all, even if she did get free, where else could she go to?

Who would be there to help her, if there anyone was here?

How would she get out?

Moreover...why? She still had plenty to do in her life, and she was just on the verge of finding out what her mother had been hiding from her for all those years...

Kiku approached Yume's direction and read through the article.
Her head gave sudden throbs of pain as Kiku exclaimed with disbelief. His breathing once again became intense as he started to slightly stumble upon his footsteps.
"Kiku?"
Yume quickly grabbed Kiku by both of his shoulders and rubbed his back to reassure his state. By then, his breathing was normal after all.

Look, the date over here," He pointed out.
September 18th, 1973. Yume's eyes widened. 1973? What a long time ago....
"See? We couldn't be in that school. This paper is really old."
"M-mm..." Yume nodded in agreement.
"So it's still and will be alright. Let's go?"
Yume gave a long deep sigh and did her best to push up a smile at him. Brushing off thoughts, she clasped onto Kiku's sleeve and slowly made their way, carefully avoiding loose floor boards.
"Kiku. Let's look for something useful that could help us escape." Yume suggested.
An open classroom was just near by as she stepped inside ahead of Kiku, but had never let go of his sleeve. She pushed the classroom door wide open to let in light. With careful steps inside as creaks of the floor echoed, the sight that met her eyes inside the room gave her heart a leap of relief.
A figure of a body was found lying on the ground by the far dark end of the room.
Someone! Someone was here! Maybe it's one of the others!
"Kiku look! I found someone!"
With excitement, Yume ran and reached out her arm towards it.
"Hey! Are yo- Ahh!!" But Yume's assumption was completely wrong. It was a body, but not alive.
It was a corpse, freshly rotting with a part of it's skull revealing. It's uniform showed that it was a male student from another school.
Yume halted and fell down, crawling backwards and reaching out to Kiku.

The zombie-esque man was now slowly and steadily coming towards her in his signature style, bloodied metal pipe in tow. His grunting and groaning seemed to grow even more agitated the closer he got, giving Jun the impression that he probably didn't like her very much. Yet, above all, those cursed rhythmic scrapes were the worst of it all...

Draaaaaaaaaaag...

*Thump*

Draaaaaaaaaaag...

*Thump*

His distinctive grind of a walk gave off the very essence of uncertainty, and if he weren't in plain sight right now - perhaps like he was a matter of minutes ago, in the halls - it'd make one fear for if that rhythm stopped just outside their door. The grotesque monstrosity paused as he reached the table that Jun was laid upon, as his red, glazed-over eyes began dripping a similarly coloured liquid. He was bleeding from his eyes! Or...perhaps he was...crying?

However, before Jun could even begin getting to the bottom of that peculiar sight, the large man began to raise the metal pipe. Perhaps she might not have noticed it before, but the man was evidently shaking as he lifted the pipe, even once it was fully raised over his head. He stood in that very position, arms in the air and both hands gripped tightly around the base of the pipe, for what felt like an eternity. This was it. He was about to do the same to her as he'd just done to that poor girl on the desk just beside her...

"HAAAIIIIIYYYYAAAAARGH!"

All too suddenly, the large man jerked aside, as small droplets of blood fell from his head to Jun's. He stumbled aside, moaning and groaning as he was sent into a nearby wall. His head had been twisted a full 90 degrees, if not more, and even though Jun didn't have a full view she could see that blood was pouring from a large area that had been caved in near the back of the mans head. Standing in the mans place was Jinta, wielding a crowbar that was now dripping lightly with blood.

"Don't worry, Beaumont-San! I'll get ya outta there!" He said in a fiery tone, revealing a pocket knife at his hip which he immediately used to slash apart the ropes. They fell with little resistance, and it was a blink of an eye until Jun was taken from that cursed science room to the outside hall. Jinta continued to run at a steady pace, carrying Jun the entire time, though after a good minute or two he set her down in one of the halls.

"S-sorry for, uh, carrying you. I just acted on impulse and didn't know if you could walk or not. Hell, I didn't know if you were alive up until I cut those ropes! You OK? No injuries?" He spoke with an edge of franticness in his voice, indicating his concern and general shock. "I'm probably being a pain in the ass right now, but..." He trailed off, shaking his head and failing to continue, reverting back to his former question. "You OK?"

"It's a shame, isn't it?" A voice suddenly spoke up from behind Kiku and Yume, sounding somewhat ghostly yet mostly...alive. The voice belonged to that of a man, certainly older than both Kiku and Yume, who appeared to be in his mid-twenties. His hair was jet black, matching his bloodied suit, and seemed to be dressed like that of a teacher. Or at least that's the persona that he gave off. His eyes were cold and empty, almost resembling those of a dead fish, which were a complete mismatch for his glasses, which appeared to be the only normal thing on his body. In his right hand he held a closed notebook.

Mysterious Man

"But that's the way this world works, I suppose..." He walked ahead of the two students and knelt down beside the body, seemingly inspecting it. He then flipped open his notebook and began scribbling with a pen, murmuring all the while. "Flesh from skull torn out. Died from excessive blood loss and shock. Student ID name: ... Hiroshi Maiyata."

The notebook closed and the mysterious man turned to face the duo. "Well, it's not often that I come across ones so fresh! You're new to this school, no? I detected your energy readings when you entered this nexus." The man chuckled slightly for reasons unknown. He then proceeded to clear his throat. "My apologies. I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Kei Tsukino, however you may refer to me as Kei-sensei. I was a teacher in life and I intend to do the same even after death." His words were calm and oddly easing, and, most importantly, had a certain trustworthiness in them.

They walked along the hallway while Yume was holding his sleeve. It was a good thing. This way they won't be separated. Kiku kept looking at the walls in case some kind of paper is stuck on them, also perhaps a bulletin or announcement board. Though, unfortunately, he hasn't seen one.

Yume then spoke, "Kiku. Let's look for something useful that could help us escape." Kiku nodded and both of them stopped as they got near another room, "Oh. In here." Kiku walked in with Yume after she went and entered first. "Careful now..." There might be more of those broken floorboards with all the holes and cracks. Luckily there were none.

It was dark inside, but the light from the hallway were somehow enough to light up the room. Kiku smelled something and continued sniffing to be sure. 'There is something in here... I'm not sure what.' As they went inside more in the room, both of them observed their surroundings. The smell was getting strong. "Kiku look! I found someone!" Yume said excitedly. "Really?!" he faced where she ran to and saw that there's a silhouette of a person there.

Quickly he went to where Yume was, but she suddenly stopped and fell down. "A-Are you alright?!" he asked as he went beside her. She seemed fine, however, she looks pretty pale all of a sudden and her face was filled with horror. Clearly something was wrong. Looking at the 'person', "A c-c-corpse?!" and he moved back in surprise. "W-What is this?" It was unbelievable. So this was what giving off the smell. This was actually not one of the Halloween jokes after all. Kiku suddenly had a thought, 'What if...?' His face lost its colors as he went towards the corpse. He just had to confirm it.

The corpse wore a different uniform, and although it was decaying, the face was still recognizable and it wasn't one of their friends. His condition's attacking again, but he's somehow managing to suppress it. What seriously is happening here?

"It's a shame, isn't it?" a grim voice spoke behind Yume and Kiku. Turning around fast, a man stood there. No, not exactly a man... A ghost? 'F-For real?' Now a ghost has appeared, where exactly are they? Was the story told earlier actually true? "Who are you?" The ghost suddenly moved and Kiku went to Yume quick, in case he tries something. Though, the spirit only knelt in front of the corpse and began writing on his notebook. He seems to be doing an autopsy of the body, 'What for?'. Afterwards he introduced itself as a teacher named Kei. "Kei-sensei then..?" he's not particularly scared of the ghost for some reason, even though it was something so unreal. Maybe because it's not giving any sense of danger. "So you're a teacher... here?" If he was, then he might be able to answer their questions. "Can you tell us where we actually are?" Kiku asked.

"I'm fairly certain you already know the answer to that, however if I must truly be the bearer of bad news then I shall." Kei paused to clear his throat and shift his tie before speaking once more. "You're trapped within one of the many core nexuses that take up a mirror image of Heavenly Host Elementary post-destruction. It's a spiritual realm, a replica of sorts, formed and comprised of the many lost souls who've since become a part of this school."

"Now, before you start freaking out, let me say a few things..." Kei said, picking up on the shock on their faces. "I was once a teacher at Amazaki Senior West Private High School, and I've been studying these very halls the entire time I've been here. Whether that was weeks, months, years, or even decades doesn't matter. What's important is that I have a proposition for you, one that involves knowledge..." He grinned ever so slightly. "There are a lot of secrets to this school, ya know... And I know a fair few of them...."

No, Jun was probably not OK, as she was still breathing raggedly wrong the shock. In between small sobs, she was trying to say something, but most of it was incomprehensible until she made a deep breath and calmed down, if only for a little bit.

"...I had t-to watch...a girl die...crushed by him. He was using that pipe...

...I...th-think there are students from a-another school here with us. Her u...I-I don't know, he-er face was already...br-broken wh-when he brought her in..."

Her breathing becomes more ragged again as she begins to recall the memory a bit more.

"A-and...i-it was a sc-science room...i-is this another school...? Th-then wh-what was with that...man? He had blood dripping down his eyes and nose, and he looked paler than a dead man..."

Naomi was either depressingly serious, or seriously funny, the second one probably unintentional. She also had major survivor's guilt, and had just said god was fucking retarded, which was pretty amazing, and also agreeable. He was heavily hurt by her last comment though. "I'd never even think of it, Naomi." He said with a frown. Sure, he teased her, a lot, but he'd never molest her or anything. "As much as I like ritualistic suicide, we probably should leave here, this place is makin' me feel weird, and not in the good way." Yosuke said, eyes darting around the room nervously. He walked towards the door, but noticed a scrap of newspaper stapled to the wall. He speed read it, before pointing it out to Naomi. "Hey, check this out, we're in "Heavenly Host" apparently. Someone got murdered here or something? Whatever, let's just get out of this room." He said before exiting the room.

Yosuke stepped out into the dark hallway, the floorboards creaking under years of stress. He looked around the hallway. The paint was chipped and eroding, like it had rained inside the school somehow, and there were holes in the floor, some actually pretty big. There was no way they were going to be able to jump it with them supporting each other. "Hey, Naomi, why didn't you kill me?" Yosuke asked suddenly, wondering aloud why, if she was a serial killer as guessed, she hadn't ended his life? He was a jerk most of the time, and he was pretty sure she hated his guts or something. "Just never got around to it?"

Naomi walked with Yosuke, and wasn't fazed by the horrible look of the hallway and the floor, she felt that when Yosuke said it was Heavenly host the school, she groaned in rage. When he asked her why she didn't kill him since she was serial killer she became blunt," That's because I don't kill students, I only kill their parents and siblings, also I haven't had a chance to kill anyone in our class's families, only girls in other schools families. I'd act like their friend and get close to them for days like a tiger hunting it's prey, then when they ask me to sleep over when I give them my sob story, I accept, in the middle of the night when I'm over their house, I strike and murder her family, then disappear as if I never existed."

Naomi revealed a lot about herself, then suddenly a thunder clap filled the air and a strike of lighting hit the ground outside lighting up the hallway," Also I was gonna do it tonight, I was gonna break into your house, and do the deed, then probably do you in as well, I got in more than once." Naomi told him," I've watched you sleep with your glasses on you shouldn't do that they'll break. I've stood over you with a blade more then thrice but your parents are light sleepers" Naomi informed him possibly exciting some fear in him." It's better than being in a big house with everything breaking down around me, and thinking about my past as an Ojou." she told him.

Yosuke was scared out of his wits. How would she know he slept with his glasses on unless she had watched him sleep, knife at the ready, poised to strike and rip his throat out? Although there was something bizarrely funny about Naomi stalking him, there was now the fact that he had his arm around, and possibly were holding feelings for someone who had proven that they were planning on murdering him, and had killed others without remorse before? He suddenly cursed himself in his mind for being such a fool for bringing his question up. He also silently thanked his parents for being restless.

Naomi was revealing an awful lot about herself, and Yosuke hadn't talk a lot about himself. "Well, if were sharing stories, I guess I can tell you why I think I got here." Yosuke said, directing both of them towards the northern end of the hall. "Sometimes, when I'm alone in my backyard, I hurt small animals, like lizards and squirrels and stuff. They're so... Tiny, and useless. It's so cathartic and powerful to end their lives." Yosuke said, grinning a little. "I could never kill a person though, the police'd catch me like, immediately"

After a small silent streak during walking down the hallway, Yosuke decided to lighten the mood a little. "Hey, I found this comic on the net, right? And in it, there's a species of alien, and their romance is like, you hate someone, but also find them attractive and stuff. It was cool, and..." Yosuke trailed off, blushing immensely. Why the hell did you just say that?!? his mind screeched at him. "Uh, so, why don't you just kill me here?" Yosuke said quickly, changing the subject. "I mean, I know it probably wouldn't do anything, but it might still hurt? Can you feel pain in hell?" Yosuke pondered aloud. He decided to test his theory. He unzipped his messengers bag and handed Naomi a pen from it. "Try stabbing me with it."

(Just area information)

Their short trip north of the hallway lead them towards an intersection, with a path going off to the right and another leading directly ahead. The one ahead of them could be partially made out to be a staircase somewhere down the line, though it was far too dark to see anything. The path to the right was both incredibly dark and seemed to be progressively more torn up, with ripped floorboards and gaping holes appearing far more frequently, though whether or not it was passable or not was a mystery to the darkness.

Also, laid down at the intersecting paths, was a fairly old deceased corpse. The uniform apparently belonged to that of a female student, covered in dried blood and ripped in certain areas. Both her eyes were dark holes of emptiness, which had two pairs of scissors dug deeply within each. Beside her right arm lay a small note, seemingly in tatters and difficult to read, with her student ID. Both read as followed:

[Amazaki Senior West Private High School]

Akira Tatoe

Akira, I don't know what happened, but ______________ so don't bother. To___i, Megumi and I have been searching the sc__l for you ever since we got separated, so __________ school infirmary on the second floor. We'll _________ second building. Oh, and don't trust the __________ they'll kill you the moment you ________.

The note was extremely difficult to read and was incredibly torn and worn. It's impossible to make out anything else than what was written there.

No, Jun was probably not OK, as she was still breathing raggedly wrong the shock. In between small sobs, she was trying to say something, but most of it was incomprehensible until she made a deep breath and calmed down, if only for a little bit."...I had t-to watch...a girl die...crushed by him. He was using that pipe......I...th-think there are students from a-another school here with us. Her u...I-I don't know, he-er face was already...br-broken wh-when he brought her in..."Her breathing becomes more ragged again as she begins to recall the memory a bit more."A-and...i-it was a sc-science room...i-is this another school...? Th-then wh-what was with that...man? He had blood dripping down his eyes and nose, and he looked paler than a dead man..."

"Hey, just...don't think about it, okay? You don't need to say anymore..." Jinta replied as he comforted Jun for the time being, constantly on alert for any other dangers all the while. He kneeled down beside her and rested a comforting hand on her shoulder, letting her cry and sob and...get it all out. Once he'd thought Jun had calmed down, he began talking once more.

"Alright, well it looks like you're okay physically. Here," he offered a hand to help her up, "we gotta find a way outta this place. It's-" he paused, and as he hesitated, Jun could see a lot of uncertainty in his eyes. "It's not safe. We can assume that much, at least."

The hall around them was relatively nearby to a staircase which was leading downwards. Rain could be seen pouring from the window nearby as thunderclaps echoed with restlessness. The other way was from where Jun and Jinta had came - the way that lead to the large man - and was darker the further one looked down its halls. Beside the staircase was a piece of paper lying on the ground, which was unreadable as of now due to the darkness.

Speaking of darkness, Jinta revealed his flashlight, the very same one that had been used to tell scary stories not so long ago. It shone like a beacon in the darkness and he occasionally turned it off to conserve power, stating so himself.

Jin picks up this small slip of paper, and also stuffs it into her breast pocket.

"I-if we came from there, then that place must be empty by now...

...should we go down the staircase? Maybe our friends could be around..."

Just before she dies that, though, she goes up to the window, and attempts to read by the varying flashes of lightning.

"Did anyone come with you, Jinta?"

Yume's face turned pale as her body shook with horror. When Kiku ran to her side and saw the corpse, she quickly clutched onto him and stood up as he backed away with shock.
Yume couldn't keep the beating of her heart down. She covered her mouth with both the palms of her hands to control her breathing along with tears falling down from her eyes.
Her grip on Kiku somehow became more tighter than before as he narrowed on the rotting figure. Not only her grip became stronger, but her sense of protection as well.

What's going on here? WHAT IS THIS PLACE?

"It's a shame, isn't it? But that's the way this world works, I suppose..."
A grim ghostly voice spoke up from behind them. Yume and Kiku turned around to come in contact with a young man who somehow looked as he were a professor or some sort. Other than his appearance, his eyes were dead as an dismayed dark soul.
Yume's crying halted to a stop, but the beating of her chest didn't. Mixed emotions swarmed her. She was happy to see someone alive, but doesn't look all to lively. This made her think that he could be a ghost....
"Who are you?" Kiku bolted out at him as he moved closer to Yume.
He walked past the students, ignoring the young boy's question and knelt down besides the corpse. He scanned the lifeless, foul-smelling figure without fear. He then took out a pen and a notebook, flipped though and started jotting down. "Flesh from skull torn out. Died from excessive blood loss and shock. Student ID name: ... Hiroshi Maiyata."
Yume's mouth slightly opened as her eyes grew wide and turned to Kiku with amazement.

The young man then concluded his 'discovery' and closed his notebook.
"Well, it's not often that I come across ones so fresh! You're new to this school, no? I detected your energy readings when you entered this nexus." He explained as he turned to to Yume and Kiku.
Just after he lightened himself with a slight chuckle, he finally answered Kiku's question. "My apologies. I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Kei Tsukino, however you may refer to me as Kei-sensei. I was a teacher in life and I intend to do the same even after death."

Through his introduction, Yume somehow started to feel a sense of calm and security starting to rise. Her strong grip on Kiku loosened as she listened to 'Kei-sensei' to what more he wanted to convey. Though before that, Kiku went in.
"So you're a teacher....here? Can you tell us where we actually are?" Fair enough that Yume wished to asked the same thing.
"I'm fairly certain you already know the answer to that, however if I must truly be the bearer of bad news then I shall." He cleared his throat. Instead of fear, interest rose up in Yume that she released Kiku and went a few steps closer to Kei-sensei to listen attentively.
"You're trapped within one of the many core nexuses that take up a mirror image of Heavenly Host Elementary post-destruction. It's a spiritual realm, a replica of sorts, formed and comprised of the many lost souls who've since become a part of this school.

Yume's head started to ache and throb again, but decided to subside it and listen more, though she still couldn't understand him. Spiritual realm? Replicas? What does he mean? The young girl then narrowed down at Kei-sensei as he continued.
"Now, before you start freaking out, let me say a few things...I was once a teacher at Amazaki Senior West Private High School, and I've been studying these very halls the entire time I've been here. Whether that was weeks, months, years, or even decades doesn't matter. What's important is that I have a proposition for you, one that involves knowledge...There are a lot of secrets to this school, ya know... And I know a fair few of them...."

Yume left Kiku's side and knelt down near Kei-sensei. The young girl suddenly seemed eager to know what more he wanted to say that fear slipped from her mind at that moment. There seemed to be enough time to ask him other questions, but for now,
[i]"Would you care to share those 'secrets'?"

He unzipped his messengers bag and handed Naomi a pen from it. "Try stabbing me with it."

Naomi tried to ignore Yosuke's comments, when he talked about killing small animals she spoke up," Your weak if you think killing animals in your backyard makes you powerful then your worst than me, you don't even attack living things your own size, and your too scared to move onto the bigger game that surrounds us." Naomi sounded weirdly noble when she spoke about killing backyard animals, While they continued to walk down the hall, Yosuke asked Naomi another question and she groaned aloud," Because if this is hell then what's the true point into killing someone ? They'd just be in pain but not dead." Naomi answered.

When they continued on Yosuke stopped for yet another question, and handed her a pen asking for him to be hurt by her in order to check and see if they were really in weird version of hell or still alive," Okay." Naomi said nonchalantly, aimed for his side and jabbed him with the point of the pen twice, when she couldn't make him bleed, she dropped the pen onto the floor and pulled a polished knife out of her pants, she then was about to stab him with the knife but something else caught her eye.

When she saw the Mutilated corpse with scissors stabbed into their eyes she took a knee and put away her knife back into her pants, she took the dead girl's I.D and read the note," Akira, your a dumb shit, I may not have a tv, but I know it's best not to split up in a place like this, if your friends are still alive, I'll kill them just for their stupidity, and if their dead, I'll happily laugh at them." Naomi said in a deadpanned demeanor.

-Eien : Heavenly Host-

As the girl made the suggestion of what to do, Eien pondered on what course of action the duo would make. As he ccontemplated on his decision, he wanted to take the route to the left, but he was rather interested about the light at the end of the hallway. He felt that maybe they should investigate the dim light down there first before going down the intersection, but had a bad feeling about heading down that route. He eventually decided to go down the intersection, however he needed to address what his main priority would be.

"We can map out the school as we go along. If we prolong trying to get bandages and such for your wound, it might cause you trouble later. We should try and deal with it as soon as possible... Lets try and investigate the intersection, as it could lead to an infirmary."

Despite asserting his statement to the girl, he was willing to follow her wherever she would go, keeping a close eye on the events around them. If worse came to worse, he would take the liberty of choosing for the two, hoping that the best possible event could happen. Right now, he just had to make sure she was in good condition before they started exploring the seemingly abandoned and barren building.

The bearer of bad news huh... That could only mean they are in a bad situation. Kiku braced himself for what the teacher is about to say next. Yume seemed really interested in hearing this and she wasn't as scared as before now, she even moved a bit closer to him. Kiku thought of telling him to be careful, but Kei-sensei didn't really give off a dangerous vibe, more like the opposite. Guess having someone like Kei-sensei can be pretty relieving. Someone would be hear to answer their questions as well. Though, he still kept his guard on in case things go wrong. He doubt something would happen right now though.

Kei-sensei then explained what is happening. They are in some kind of replica of Heavenly Host School which is a spiritual real that were made by lost souls. "A-Are you saying the truth?" His story was unrealistic for Kiku, but from what he saw and see right now, everything he was saying might actually be true. There's a high chance, and these information weren't being helpful. His vision gradually was blackening, things he saw slowly lost color, but he still managed to not let his condition devour him. He tried to control it by thinking of Yume and the rest. He held the scrap that is inside his pocket, it was somehow giving him hope.

Yume moved closer, wanting to hear the man clearly. Kiku stayed behind to have full sight of things. Kei-sensei continued, answering his earlier question. He was a teacher at another school, Amazaki it seems. He had been at this 'school' for a while now and studied it the whole time he was here. Also mentioning that there were plenty of secrets in here and that he knew some.

Moving a bit nearer to the two, he asked with Yume, "Will you please share those secrets?" Hopefully he would, but Kiku has this feeling that it won't be for free, and the cost might be high. He could be wrong though, he must be wrong.
