In a lab deep underground Vlad was about to allow his first group of experiments meet each other. He couldn't wait to begin working with them. He wanted to prove that his theory was worth funding. He had the guards bring everyone to the dinning room.

He hated today. He hated yesterday, too, he remembered. He had hated the day before that as well.
He had hated almost every single day since he had lost track of the moron in the first place, and had definitely hated every single day in the last...Dio! He couldn't even remember anymore! He couldn't even remember the last time he had actually been as irritated as he looked, as he actually felt this minute.

...No, he could still remember. He would never be able to forget that. All that frustration...

The icy-haired boy scoffed as he walked between the two guards that led him away from his room. He never knew that he would experience such a similar feeling again in his lifetime. He should have known better than to think he would finally get away from it. I swear it must be a curse. But I'm not going back for good, that's for sure.
As the dining hall came closer, he found himself thinking how glad he was that at least the guards hadn't shackled him this time. But then again, why would they? They hadn't needed to for a while. Not since he made a certain agreement...

Walking the span of corridor from his "bedroom" to the dining room, Julian Concord found that his vision was shrouded by a near-total darkness. Not because the lights were out, but because his entire body was veiled in a exterior layer that obscured his sight just enough to make it seem like the cool, iridescence of the candle-like wall sconces was non-existent. From head-to-toe, he was confined to the stylish, yet impeding comforts of a suit of neoprene, the very same material often used by electrical workers to protect them from the high-voltage dangers of their trade. Vlad and a few of his scientists had devised the use of the suit as a means of restraining him. Until further notice, Julian practically sung the words of Vlad himself in his head. The suit, meant to be a restraint against his recently acquired power over electricity and magnetism, was proving to be more a point of morale. There was no doubt in his mind that the only reason he wore it was because they had yet to invent a device that could keep him under thumb the way they did the others; electrically-based stun guns didn't exactly have much effect on someone already imbued with electricity. In way, the use of such weapons only seemed to fuel Julian's powers. Until further notice, he was practically invincible once they removed the neoprene; until further notice, Julian Concord had nothing worth fearing in anyone.

But further notice was coming. Despite the layer of thick, rubbery substance that blocked him from the outside world, he could hear most of the sounds from the hallway. Most of them were very standard: the thudding of the footsteps of the foursome of paramilitary guards that flanked him as he made his way to meet with Vlad, the distant murmurings of people in other hallways. Naturally, they were muffled by the restraining suit, but nonetheless audible by Julian's ears. Still, one sound grew somewhat clearer as he moved down the hall, as though it were moving towards him and his 'entourage.' It was a distinct sounds of hard soles and heels striding in perfect rhythm down an adjacent hallway, that, with certainty, drew closer to Julian.

When the sound of walking stopped, so too did the guards, one of whom yanked Julian to a halt as well. "Don't be so worked up boys." A voice spoke to the guards; a familiar voice, belonging to a young Lieutenant that had been charged with monitoring Julian's security measures. "Vlad says he's finally got something that'll keep this little monster from going wild on us... now, carry on. I'll see all of you for dinner."

It was a brief exchange, thankfully; Julian couldn't stand the Lieutenant in any measure. He could only hope she wouldn't blab on over dinner.

Roxy scolded as she was escorted down the hallway. She had little to no use for the soldiers. She was going to try to escape. Atleast she wasn't going to anytime soon. Not as long as Vlad held his trump card. She had already tried and failed once. Now Vlad had something to use against her to get her cooperation. She wondered if he had similar things against the other 'volunteers.' Once they reached the dinner room Roxy leaned against the wall to wait the arrival of the other.

Cam walked down the hallway, the escort keeping some distance from her. If he touched her he'd receive another stomp to his foot, which would result in her being shocked again but she didn't care as long as he learned not to touch her. Which he seemed to have done. Cam saw the door to where they'd be eating with the bastard by the name Vlad. Cam saw another girl but just turned her attention to the door, she stood still as she crossed her arms flipping her long purple hair back over her shoulder. A headband of flowers and a vine in her hair, the flowers seemed to glow slightly on her head as she glared at the door in front of her.

Brushing the shoulder of the red vest he wore over the long black sleeves and pants, Felice scanned the area around him as he entered the dining hall. Bright amber eyes met darker ones for a brief moment before sweeping away towards another girl seemingly decorated with flowers standing outside the door. Surely there were more than this? Probably on their way. The slightly short boy's scowl never changed as he took a seat in the center of the room, head held high despite the circumstances. Old habits die hard, even after the incident with the chair recently. It almost made him smirk, actually, to think that he had actually survived that.

Still, at what cost? He had better not...

Vlad strolled proudly through the of his under ground facility. The first group of survivors were ready for the next step in the program. He had been waiting for this day since the government approved his research. He looked around as he enter the dinning room where he had had the guards take the first group of graduates. They would be served there first meal together. "Good morning graduates. First let me congratulate you on survive the first stage of my experiment. Today you will be moved the second stage. Today you will begin your training to become my dream soldiers."

As the heavy chamber door hissed and lifted away, the guards found Kevin lying on his bed, the distinct white buds and cables of headphones for an MP3 player plugged into his ears, his eyes staring out into elsewhere. Knowing what brought him here in the first place and what he would soon be capable of, the staff of the facility were careful to appease the sensibilities of Kevin, as unusual as they were. The walls and roof of the chamber were painted solid black. On the wall opposite to the side of the room with his bed was an American flag that spanned much of it. Other than that, the furnishings were ordinary; rustic, even. His bedside table bore three framed pictures. The first was a photograph of his old house (with none of his family visible around or even in it), the second of a picture of his older brother, David, in uniform and the last was of Kevin himself in his own. The photographers had grown very impatient with him that day, as he kept insisting on retaking the photo until he looked as close to David's image as he possibly could.

Kevin quickly noticed he had visitors. As he took out his earphones, the faint, distant buzz of Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" could be heard from them for a brief moment. After he stuffed the device away into a drawer, he was on his feet and stood at attention in the blink of an eye. He locked his feet together and gave a salute. "Whaddaya need, sir?" he offered to the more senior of the two with a smile.

Though the display wasn't necessary, the guards returned the salute. "Just meal time, that's all." he explained as his subordinate could only grin and shake his head. "Lost in your mind again?" he cheekily added.

Kevin's formality fell away and his grin widened. "Oh, neat. Best time of the day, outside of training." he replied cheerily, as if ignoring the remark.

Kevin was led out and down the corridor quite willingly. He was always compliant. A structured, routine life wasn't only something he was used to, but it was something he desired.

As Kevin arrived in the dining hall, he sneaked in some brief greetings to the other attendees before taking his seat.

Roxy studied the new arrival. She called him soldier boy. He was one of the few volunteers that actually wanted to be here. She wanted to hate him but she couldn't. He had never given her a reason other then he was good at following orders which she sucked at. She crossed her arms and glared at Vlad. Him she hated. He was a bully like her father. If she could escape she would. But for now she had to play by the rules or suffer the consequences.

As he sat down, he gave the occupants of the room a final scan before focusing on Vlad. He didn't recognize anyone here, likely owing the tight measures they had placed on him. During his brief introduction, all he got to do was exchange names with a few of them. He couldn't help but notice a brief stare from... Roxy, was it? Probably one of the more ordinary looking people he had seen wandering about today. But he knew this wasn't the case. He couldn't for the life of him guess what sort of powers they were setting her up with. Then there was the one with blue hair. That was an immediate eye catcher. Already forgot his name, though, given how much of a hurry he was in. Then there was the flower girl. He doubted this was one of those "hippy" things his dad used to rage about. She was far too young to have been alive when that was a thing, of course. Finally there was the tall one with the weird suit. That one intrigued him a lot. He never got an opportunity to learn what the suit is or does.

As Vlad spoke, his attention immediately returned to him. Vlad. He had foreigner written all over him, but he respected him. He owed Vlad a lot for his second chance, and the man was a genius to boot. Kevin had never really put himself above others, but he here was, on the assembly line to become one of the latest, and one of the most powerful, weapons his nation had to wield, all thanks to the intervention of this mysterious man. The idea that he could possibly fail or anything that could go wrong never even entered Kevin's mind. Back on the front he was assured of his invincibility, and so he still was now. His fellow soldiers thought he was insane, the sort of things he pulled. But he just considered himself more motivated.

Footsteps were heard from outside the door. Soon, Limbo's door opened and two guards stood which both had surprised looks. "W-What? Where's the boy?!" one said out of surprise. The other one was also astonished, quickly he ran inside "H-He escaped?! Quickly, find hi-" then suddenly, someone tapped his back, nerviously turning around, the boy was there. Limbo looked at the guard without any expression and spoke, "I was right here the whole time though..." he said in almost a whisper, "O-Oh. Sorry." the guard looked at him in confusion. 'How come we didn't notice the boy?' he thought. Limbo was used to this kind of treatment. Back in the organization, he usually just walked past people and they didn't notice him one bit. Sometimes the others searched for him everywhere while he was just napping at the corner. The other man walked towards them with a confused look, "A-Anyway, we are here to escort you to the dining room," and Limbo only nodded.

Along the corridors he walked in front of the two guards. Perhaps they were being cautious because of the boy disappearing earlier. He probably wouldn't be able to escape though. Surely they have countermeasures for that. As they walked, Limbo frequently looked around, wondering about the place that he is in. For a while, he was only in that room after all, waiting for his body to recover. Soon, they approached two open doors, someone was speaking inside. They all went in and the guards left him there. Inside, there were people. Mostly teens like him. 'I guess there's many of us who have special abilities after all.' he wondered as he walked past them without any greeting. Limbo stood at the back of the others and listened to the man that is talking about training them to become soldiers. Another training. For a few years he had trained as well for a certain job. 'I wonder what will we be doing here?', he thought. He was prepared to do anything at this point, and perhaps nothing would surprise him now. He experienced quite a great deal of training at the last organization that he served after all. However, while he was listening, he was also secretly observing the others, he was a bit curious about them.

"We are going to start with gym but first I think those of you have survived the first step should get to know rack other. I know that are crimals. Your probably loners use to working alone. That will not be tolerated here. I expect you to interact and work as a team. You all have unique skills and abilities. Who would like to start by telling the great alittle about themselves.

Two more arrivals. So there were more, though one of them actually looked like someone he probably knew. He probably did, though recent events had kind of kept him from remembering exactly who he was. He seemed far more cheerful than the rest, though. Odd.

The second one who arrived seemed strangely forgettable, easy to miss, somehow. Felice had a feeling that even if he did know him, he probably wouldn't be able to recognize his face for a bit. Goodness knew why.

He hadn't done much to return the first boy's greeting, apart from meeting his eyes for a few seconds as well. His attention was quickly drawn back to Vlad's announcement. Loners, ah? ...Fine, let's go with that. Really, the slightly short boy couldn't say he cared what the doctor's assessment of them was. The part after that had more meaning to him at the moment. Why did it sound like a support group activity?

The man started talking again, and Limbo didn't like the last bit. He's not used to introductions right in front of everyone, so he basically isn't sure of what to do. But he thought that he should just act normally, say something then go. Not like he said to give a speech about themselves. Aside from that though, the first things that was said made him wonder some more, that is being in a team. Until now he has been working alone. Usually the only time that he gets to interact with the others is when their boss sent someone to get him. There were a few that tried talking to him, but he didn't react much that it seemed like he was ignoring them. Words spread out and he was left alone to be a loner. Not like he cared much though.

While waiting for the first person to speak, he continued to observe the others. Everyone seemed older than him. Guess he's the youngest member of the experiment. Looking at everyone's demeanor, they all seemed like they went through something. Most of them had a look of coldness, if not all. 'Team huh... This will be hard wouldn't it?', everyone was pretty much like himself. Cold and distant. He wasn't really cold though, but one might refer to him as that because of his attitude. He can only see how things will work out for now.

Cam clicked her tongue in annoyance when no one spoke up. "I guess I will go first." She stated her voice cold and conflicting with her sweet appearance. "I'm Cameron but I go by Cam, if you call me Cameron don't expect to wake up the next morning..." she paused glaring at all of them to help it sink in that she was not joking. "... and I have full control over plants." When she said that her headband glowed even brighter and it branched off into multiple vines that grew out and moved to her will pulling her hair into a ponytail and braiding vines through sections of her hair. She was showing off and getting her hair ready to go to the gym.

"Carina." Felice met the glare with blank amber, not particularly intimidated yet. If for no other reason, he knew that the guards probably wouldn't allow for any killing outside of the doctor's order. It just seemed logical to him. Still, from what he did know about this place, that order could quite possibly be given at any time should they mess up badly enough. That would probably have to be pretty badly, though; the doctor struck him as someone who liked his toys.

"E che vuoi da me? Per certo non è possibile che farò un introduzione migliore di quello." (And what exactly do you expect me to do to follow that up?) The still-scowling boy muttered as he looked almost lazily toward Vlad.

Introduction time, oh boy. Kevin shifted about to focus his attention on "flower girl". He listened along intently. "Cameron, huh?", he mentally noted. "Eh... Cam.", he quickly added, correcting himself. Though he wasn't particularly phased by her threat, being a war veteran, it'd be polite to remember to call her by the name she wanted to be known as, he figured. Kevin just wanted things to go smoothly, after all. He wanted things to work. He allowed himself to crack a grin as she demonstrated her powers to the group, even shifted back slightly. "Pretty damn cool!" he thought. "Explains the whole flower thing, too..."

His head then turned to the new voice. He squinted in concentration as he tried to understand. Then the true nature of the situation quickly occurred to him, and as soon as it did, he raised his hand. Without waiting for Vlad to acknowledge him, he began to talk, a hint of exasperation in his voice. "With all due respect, sir, isn't the goal of this program to make super soldiers to defend -America-?" he questioned, thudding his desk slightly at that last word for emphasis. "I mean, if they can talk English as well, that's swell, really swell, but I think coordination will be a bit, eh, impacted, if we can't understand each other, you know?" he added with a sheepish grin, either bottling his feelings up successfully, or calming down.

"I don't care who you are or what you can do." Roxy snapped. "You can call me Roxy. Stay out of my space and I'll stay out of your." She told them she glared at the plant girl who thought she was all that and a bag of chips. She studied the boy who didnt speak English. That could be a problem if them were suppose to work together. "I can manipulate and move through shadows when the old man lets me."

Beelze burst open the doors to the crowd of people gathered inside the dining hall. "Where are your guards!?" barked Vlad. "Oh don't worry Vladdy, boy. They're defending this place against robot teddy bears. On the bright side, I got here safe and sound," replied Beelze with a grim smile.

Earlier, when the guards came to bring him to the dining hall, they had forgotten the effects of his powers. Before they could tell him to come with them to the dining hall, they had already looked into his eyes. "Game over," said Beelze. Instantly they ran down the hall barking orders to "take defense from the robotic teddy bears." Beelze finished up the book he was reading and strolled down the walkway towards the dining hall.

"So introductions, correct?" Beelze asked as he gazed into each of their eyes. "I am a shape shifter," he lied as his appearance changed according to each individuals desire, "and my name is Beelze Marke. I savor the moment we start working together."

Felice's eyes filled with slight amusement as they swiveled around to look over at this other boy, the obedient looking one. He could feel the smirk just begging to form on his features at the tone of voice there, not to mention the hand motion that accompanied it. Nice expression.
Leaning over the table to prop his chin up in one hand, the slightly short boy raised an eyebrow at the other in an almost somewhat flirty expression and allowed that smirk to slide smoothly into place.
"Hai un problema, ragazzo? Ti posso capire, non mi puoi?°

His gaze shifted back over to the dark-seeming girl as she spoke. "Bene. Molto bene, ragazza." Dropping his smirk, he stood up when she finished and took up a proud position, motioning to himself with one hand. "Il mio nome è Felice. Il ironia non è perduto a me, lo sono concio." Moving both hands by this point, he made a motion by spinning them around each other, as if moving something around. "Sono un cambiano, puoi decire."
