Desdemona eyed Kane, a slight hint of distaste visible before it disappeared. She raised an eyebrow when he showed his ability, but nothing more seemed to show. She turned to Vlad, "You know I'll either need a corpse or a relatively small vial of blood to properly conduct this. I'm pretty certain you don't have a corpse on hand, too." Her eyes flicked over the other two momentarily before returning to Vlad, "Unless if you would prefer for me to show my other ability?" Her voice pitched at the end in amusement as she made her way closer to the group.

"We discussed this Desdemona. You are not allowed to kill the others." Vlad scolded sternly. "I have many failed experiments. There are plenty of bodies for you to play with." He assured her. He snapped his fingers. Two guards pushed in a granary with a young man's body on it.

Desdemona frowned at him momentarily before making her way over to the granary, quickly examining the corpse. She nodded to herself before stepping back and taking a quick breath. She lifted her hands as if she was playing a piano before the body rose. She grinned and made it stand, letting whatever came to mind happen. She made it walk around a bit, interacting with some of the things in the room, before making it speak a few words. A small show of surprise was on her face as she realized most of it was still intact and she had just controlled it as if it was herself. She quickly dismissed it by controlling the corpse to lay back on the granary. "One done.", She chimed. She looked over the others before sending the mental command over at Kane. It simply stated 'I want to stand near the wall.' and Desdemona giggled to herself afterwards. "Tell me if you feel a sudden desire or command, darlings." She stated, humming as she returned to her spot near the group.

Kane had a sudden urge to leave the group and place himself by the wall, something he found quite peculiar. Though he was not a talkative person he never removed himself from social interacting. It was when one of the other experiments spoke up that he got the answer to his question, he had just been used as a example for the girl's powers. Desdemona blinked twice before what could be described as a Cheshire-like grin showed on her face. She quickly went into mad cackles and howls of laughter. Still trying to recover she gasped out, "Well, there's my other power!" She stood up straight and wiped the tears from her eyes, "Don't worry, kitty Kane, I won't do so again. My hands for now shall be clean, but I have a sense we will all have the blood of another on our hands, soon..." She was still grinning by the end of it. She turned once again to Vlad, "May we sit now, our little mad scientist?"

"Now that you have displayed some of the ability I have given you I would like you to get pair up. I want you to duel with your partner using your abilities. You must developer powers and your control over them." Vlad answered. "You need to push yourself and each other. However do not seriously injure your opponent."

Chibi-Felice gave a tiny smirk as the other boy crushed the figurine shaped like Vlad. It have him a nice feeling. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of the power, though, since he couldn't rightly tell what the material was. He got the feeling from the guards that it was something particularly dangerous, though.

His brought his face back to its usual scowl when the second girl made her request regarding her ability's performance, which probably looked a bit out of place with the doll-like face and body the icy-haired boy now exhibited. The way she acted toward the rest of the group made it seem like she wanted to cause trouble, and her power display turned out to be quite eerie, but he didn't spend too much time focused on her. Rather, he had been distracted by the corpse when it was first brought out. The fact that he couldn't recognize who it had been was a bit of a relief, but the curiosity of who this would have been if they had lived did stick in the currently tiny boy's mind for a bit longer. At least, until the body started moving, when he had to try his hardest to resist the urge to cross himself again during the rest of the display. Well, that's not something you see every day...

At Vlad's new set of instructions, the boy took another good look at the three other experiments in the room, unsure of who he should pair up with. Honestly, Roxy would probably be the least problematic and he really did want to see what would happen if the other two went against each other, but he wasn't sure how he felt about fighting her. Perhaps he should wait to see their preferences...

Kane made no effort to react to the girl's banshee like howls of laughter or her calling him a kitty. He looked to the doctor as he instructed the teens to pair off for yet another test. Kane did another scan of the group, his expression remaining cold, before he simply pointed to Desdemona. If he had to duel with someone he would do it with the person that had already managed to irk him.

Desdemona frowned when she heard what Vlad had said and she edged away from Kane. Even she knew he was dangerous. She had only seen a glimpse and not anything of the others' powers, like they had seen hers. She didn't know what to expect of him yet and his silence made her wary. Her eye twitched when he pointed at her. "Expanding your knowledge of others and not focusing on one person makes it much easier to predict what they'd do together. I recommend taking back your decision, Kane." She says and bows towards him, "I'm deeply sorry for my behavior earlier, but my mind sees two points. One wanted to toy with you when I should have controlled myself. Once again, I'm sorry..." She rises again and takes a step away from Kane again and looks at the other two, desperation visible in her eyes before she stares at the ground and fiddles with her hands. She really didn't wish to be partnered with Kane and she would even act like her sensible self to get that goal.

Kane took a few steps towards Desdemona to make up for the space she tried to make between them. "Regretting one's actions do not make up for them." He said in his cold tone, his blood chilling gaze unyielding. He then leaned forward so his face was a mere few inches from Desdemona's. "...but hesitation amuses me." He said, his tone and expression unchanging. He leaned back to his normal posture and walked back to his former spot.

Chibi-Felice stared at the two throughout their interaction. Weird. Then again, what had he really expected? Nothing was normal here. It never would be.

After a moment, he attempted to signal to the girl, Desdemona, he remembered. "Oi, ragazza! Vorrei una contratto." ("Oi, I want a contract.")He didn't know if she was really serious about not wanting to fight the other boy, but he wasn't unwilling to match him, provided he didn't get absolutely nothing out of it. Looking over at Roxy again for a moment, he blinked slowly before pointing to her and turning back to Desdemona. "Puoi lavorare con lei, ma vorrei un favore." ("You can work with her instead, but I want a favor for taking your place.")

Desdemona shivered as Kane approached and when he leaned in, she held her breath. While he was walking back, she sighed and shook a bit, looking up at the ceiling. Her head snapped over to look at whoever called out to her. She practically ran over to the boy. "Ah, different language? Must be a pain to get people to know what you're saying. Anyway, thanks for the save, but before we go jumping to conclusions, what sort of favor would it be? I like my details juicy and fresh.", she said, smiling a bit.

Kane took a moment before he pointed to Vlad. It may have took a moment, but once the message was understood it would be crystal clear. Kane wanted to duel Vlad.

"No Kane. I will not be dueling you." Vlad shook his head. "The only participant you have left to choose from is Roxy. Dontworry she can hold her own."

Kane merely looked to Roxy and moved his pointing towards her. He walked towards her and examined her for a moment, noticing the similar collar she was wearing. It gave him the sign her powers were something demined dangerous enough that they had to be contained.

Roxy studied Kane as she pulled herself to her feet. "Welcome to the imaginary game of upmanship. I show you wihat I can do and than you show me. We'll both pretend we have full access to our abilities and that we actually care what the other one thinks. Would you like to start ths game or shall I?"

He scanned her one more time before performing a hand gesture showing he was waving off her comments. He stood there for a few moments before crossing his arms. "I'm waiting..."

"I see your going for the silent caveman role. Just so you know deling generally means that we attract at the same time." Roxy told him. She shook her head. She hated people like Kane. They thought their silence gave them power or something, she wasn't impressed. "Tell you what. You can have one free shot if you can find me." she told him as she pulled the shadows around her. Now that she was part of the shadows no one, not even those with excellent nightvision coukd see her."

Kane simply held out his hand as he did before, another metallic ball forming above his palm, but this time four more appeared along side it. A moment later Kane extended his fingers slightly and each of the five spheres quickly split apart until there was a cloud of small marble sized orbs floating in front of Kane. The teen then closed his hand into a fist causing the nearly countless amount of metallic spheres to reshape and straighten until they resembled a whole squad of floating blades, each about the size of a razor. Kane took a moment before he quickly extended his fist forward, sending the blades rocketing towards the shadows like a blast of shrapnel.

Roxy studied the blades. They looked alot like hers, but she had a feeling that his could do more damage than hers could. Which was a bad thing. The good thing was they all seemed to be going straight. Which meant that she could avoid them even with the limits Vlad put on her power. "Do your blades do anything beside fly through the air?" She asked. She doubted he would answer. She moved the shadows until she was standing in Vlad's shadow.
