Judging from the age group we have 10 years would put most of the students at being on their own for 2-4 years after graduation. However that is a long time so it might be advantageous to say that they set out early because of the rising crime rate around the globe. It would mean that they still have things to learn but it would need to be on the fly. It would also make the loss of the academy a harder hit since it would still seem almost like home. Otherwise just about everyone will be in their late 20s. Not really a bad thing but I think that the bad guys wouldn't wait that long before taking advantage of the situation.

That's a very good point. Or someone could be targeting young metahumans again, similar to Amanda Waller's Alpha program. However, this time it's much more aggressive and the person behind it slips up. The Academy's former students catch wind of what's happening and on their own, or with their respective teams, trace it back to the state it's based out of. The state? New York, AKA, the same state the Academy is in.

Just an idea that I thought of in about 30 seconds, so forgive me if it's terrible.

And while we wait to set up the new RP, let's keep posting on this one, just to pass the time.

It may be best that I go ahead and withdraw from this RP. Not because I feel angry or displeased with this RP its of personal situations in real life for this reason.

I am currently battling major depression in real life. It gotten so scary the other day I just felt like dying. I have no intentions for suicide but I am not mentally healthy right now and I need to straighten my life out to avoid myself from thinking such thoughts again.

Plus I have been running on a machine schedule for the past month of getting up at 5:30 and going to bed at 12:00pm- 1:30Pm at night just to get back up and repeat the grind.

I am just not really well right now either mentally or physically so I am sorry everyone but it may be best that I do step back now from big RPs right now.

Good luck man, I used to struggle with depression too. It get's better.

I can understand. I took a break from RPs for a while to get things sorted out. Be careful and get some sleep. Running yourself into the ground isn't healthy. Though I should talk, I have a similar schedule. But thankfully I do not suffer from depression. I have however seen the effects it can have since I have family that have varying degrees of depression. And talking with them the best advice they have is to seek help. It may not always be what people want to hear but it's their first hand experience.

@Avanhelsing Well the RP was struggling and the whole set-up of the RP had become a bit.. well, stale SO we're starting a 'chapter 2' set 5 years after they've all graduated. The new interest check explains it in more detail :)
