It was around midday when Robin sent the transmission, Annete was in the aquarium, looking at the great white shark in amazement, she found the animel quite cute unlike the rest of the people, who would normally be terrified. Maybe because she had spent lots of time with them swimming in th sea.
Anyway she lost her balance and almost dropped her strawberry ice cream when she recibed the transmission but luckily didn't
"Sheesh...I almost loose you forever...My beloved..."
She licked the ice cream a few more times and then left the aquarium. Once outside the got on her bike, an old harley davidson and so holding the ice cream with the left hand and driving with he right hand headed towards the T tower

"One coffe, black, please," Ever says to the cashier before setting cash down on the counter. She moves aside as the next person orders and sits down in a corner. She rubs her tired eyes and looks around. She hated coffee and soda, but she needed to wake up today. They call her name and she goes up and grabs the coffee, right as her communicator goes off. She jumps, nearly spilling the coffee. She holds the coffee in her left hand and checks the message.
She smiles. She has been waiting for this. She dowas her coffee in one swallow, the heat not bothering her, and hurries out to her motorcycle. Well, off to Titans tower. She throws on her helmet, pulls on her katanas, and starts up the motorcycle. She drives out of the parking lot, heading toward the giant T shaped tower on the bay.

three blonde girls each of them looking exactly like the others except for small flairs on their clothes, sit inside a crowded mall they all sat eating a small basket of fries, no speaking out loud to each other but still speaking to each other through their minds. Nora wore a green bow in her hair, Stacy a blue bracelet, and Torrie a red necklace
Nora: so what are we doing here anyway?
Stacy: shopping, eating...
Torrie: I think she ment why are we in this city?, why did we up root?
Nora's head turned from the group when a cute guy passed by and looked over to the group. then back to the group blushing as her sisters somewhat stared at her knowing what she was thinking.

Chris was working at the warehouse district on the north side of town just trying to stay away from people. Some of the workers that saw him there frequently were among the only people that Chris could call a friend, and even that wasn't really what they were. Sure they hung-out together, but Chris never really connected with them. He usually just kept to himself trying not to engage with people. _Why is this so hard for me?_ A question that he often. Chris has always had a hard time trusting people, and he his past makes it even harder. Chris continued to drive his forklift, moving crates from the warehouse to the loading bay, then took his lunch break. While sitting at one of the tables, a couple of guys sitting next to him making conversation, Chris heard a tone from his duffel bag. _I haven't heard that..._ he though. It had been so long since Chris had used the Titan Communicator that he had forgotten what it sounded like. Digging around in the bag he held up the yellow, puck shaped, device and read the message. At first he had no expression then he realized what it really was. gathering all his things off the table, he stood from the table and slung the bag over his shoulder.
"Hey, Chris, where's the fire?" on of the guys said and the all turned to him. Chris turned to meet their gazes, and struggled for words.
"I, uh... That was my grandmother. She fell and is on her way to the hospital." He hoped this was enough, and to his relief they responded.
"Well don't just stand there!"
After explaining to his manager Chris clocked-out and began making his way to the tower. He walked a little ways down the street from his work to get to the bus stop. looking at the schedule to see when the next bus would show then sat down and pulled out his Ipod to begin listening to music while he waited.

The sound of chaos erupted across the city as a green dusk blotted out the sun. The light emanated from the center of downtown where the heroes were converging and had a sickly aura surrounding it. As the various heroes converged on their way to the Tower, a creature of apparent evil oozed from a crack in the ground. Possessing no face, the head was instead a pure black void, seeming to suck in the light around it. Fully emerged, it cleared the height of the streetlights. It indiscriminately began blasting the surrounding buildings and street with a beam from its face of the same color. Cars erupted in flame and the metal from the building glazed the sidewalks.

Chris had gotten onto the bus and planed to ride it all the way to the down town water-front where he would fly to the Titan's Tower that sat in the Jump City Bay. It wasn't long after the bus had passed out of the warehouse district that a catastrophic noise, so intense it could be felt in the air, shattered all the windows in the bus. The people in the bus clutched their ears and ducked from the exploding glass fragments as they seemed to be screaming, but Chris could not here them due to the temporary tinnitus caused by the sound. ripping his earphones from his ears he too clutched his ears as he ran out of the bus. As he exited the bus his ears stopped ringing thanks to accelerated recovery abilities, and he looked around the surrounding area thing that maybe a bomb had gone off near by. He was unable to see any indication of a bomb, but what he did see is that it was not just the bus windows that had gone out it was just about every window on the block. As he continued to scan the area in confusion he began to notice a large green cloud emanating from downtown. _That's not normal._ he thought to himself. looking around he saw that many people were still in shock. _I wish I could do this somewhere less conspicuous._ Chris shifted into his first phase of dragon form causing a scale armor to form on him and his build to bulk up. Chris began sprinting down the street at roughly 20 miles an hour, and he could hear his shirt begin to tare. _Aw, man, I realy liked this shirt too!_
Chris wasn't able to make it the scene, he was able to make it to a cross street giving him sight of what was happening. He watched as a monster was destroying the downtown plaza with some kind of energy blast. _What ever that thing is using, it has to be energy based._ he thought as cars exploded and supports from the destroyed building melted into the street. _A very hot energy._ Done with his evaluation Chris started to run again toward the scene though he was still a few minutes away.

Ever yanks on her brake, sliding close near the monster as it pops out in front of her. Her bike twists to the side, almost careening into the side of the monster. She leaps off of it and runs back away from it, looking up at it as she runs. The thing exploded some buildings next to her and some of the cars caught fire. Metal rains down and she rolls out of the way. She looks up at the monster and growls, thrusting her hands down to the ground. It suddenly gets cold around her and the fire leaves the cars as she absorbs their heat. Fireballs begin to form in her hands.

Tyler could see Titans Tower in the distance. He wondered if he had made the right choice by deciding to come here. He stood up and looked down at the Eve, the girl driving the boat that was taking him to Jump City. “Oh Caroline you. Break my heart. I want to go and cry,” he sang softly.
“None of that now. My name isn’t Caroline and you never sing because you know you suck at it so don’t go getting all sentimental on me now. You definitely don’t care about me or any of us. You’re going off to the big city to be a big hero,” the girl playfully intoned.
“Well, it’s OK. I can do this now. I could always be like this around you because even if you tell anyone they would never believe you anyway,” Tyler replied with a hint of coy satisfaction in his voice. He continued more seriously “And I’m not coming here to be a hero. I’m coming here to learn how to be hero. You know that I don’t want to leave you or the city but we need all the help we can get and this is the best way to make myself a long term solution.”
The boat sped past the Tower and pulled into the city’s harbor. “Well, here we are. This is your stop.” Eve glanced at Tyler. “It was nice of you to fly over to say goodbye. You know, you won’t even be in Blüdhaven if you get accepted to Central City University, which we both know you will. I’m only cutting our time a little short.” He threw his bags onto the, shore. “I’m sure, you know, or rather I wished I was sure you knew just how much I love you.” Tyler tenderly kissed Eve and then quickly climbed out of the boat.
The two locked eyes and Tyler said, “It won’t be long.” “Yeah.” She said and then turned around and sped off in the boat. He watched as the boat retreated in the distance. The boy looked away and immediately tensed up. The relaxation and easiness from moments ago was gone. He picked up his bags and began to head into the city. He had only taken a few steps when everything went wrong. It hadn’t been five minutes and already the city seemed to be under attack. He was slightly disconcerted because of the sound but sprang into action. He began to run towards where he had determined the sound came from. This was basic confirmed by tons of people running and driving from the direction he was awkwardly running toward. Some people had even abandon their cars for some reason and were running away on foot.
Tyler threw his bags into one of the abandon cars that was still running and jumped behind the wheel. He instantly sped toward the disturbance hoping this wasn’t a test. He slammed on the brakes as the monster came into view. He jumped out of the car, grabbed his bags and threw them in an alleyway near a dumpster.
As he began to focus on the battleground, Tyler noticed a girl who seemed to be putting out the fire. Another crime fighter being at the scene made him more comfortable but he was still trying to come up with a plan to fight the ooze monster. He shouted at the young lady, “Hey, you have a plan for dealing with this thing?”

Ever is startled by the voice and whips around to see a guy standing there. She sucks in more heat from the flames of the cars and hurls them at the monster. "I'm still working on that!" she yells back at him. "Who the heck are you anyways? You need to get out of here! Now!" She jumps out of the way as it hurls another car. She whips around. "Leave! Before you get hurt!"

Tyler stared at the girl for half a second. He then realized that she thought he was a civilian. This was a fair assumption as he was in plain black jeans, a black leather jacket, black boots, and a plain emerald green t-shirt. "You could get hurt yourself! Here to help!" He was still thinking of a plan. He was running back and forth in attempt to prevent himself from becoming a target. *"Have to think! It's a slime monster. Not really helpful without more information. Could it be burned? Frozen? Blown up? If I hit it with enough water, maybe I can drown it in a way."* He knew he would have to get closer. First, he dashed back into the alley reached into his bag and pulled out a motorcycle helmet appropriately it matched his shirt. He ran back into the street and addressed the girl loudly," Since we both decided we're both staying, what do you know about fire hydrants? I'm thinking we get one open and water this bastard down. Unless you can shoot water or ice from your person, in which case just do that." He put the helmet on to further protect himself and resumed his frantic zigzag while keeping one eye on the monster and trying to locate fire hydrants or other sources of water.

The creature shifted its gaze to the two figures attacking it. Part of its arm ripped off as a fireball struck it. Howling in rage, it lashed out at the glowing girl slinging fire at it. In a millisecond, the edges of its arm hardened into a sharp edge, keen enough to cleave steel asunder. The orb that was its head began spraying the beam helter-skelter in the general direction of a man running up behind the lady.
In the same instant, another two booms echoed across the city two blocks away on each side. Another pair of creatures began pulling themselves out of the ground from each side. Immediately, they too began laying waste to the surrounding city.

Chris was fast approaching the scene where the first creature had appeared and two people had began to engage it in combat. He watched closely at how the creature reacted to their attacks, and how it retaliated when, just a few feet in front of him, while he was running, Chris saw the ground begin to split. Before he could stop to react he was on top of the cracking earth and a loud boom emitted from it. the force of the ground exploding threw Chris into the air and he was now soaring down the street. Regaining himself in mid air he turned his body and landed in a half kneeling position as he slid looking back at the new creature crawling from the crater in the ground. _What is going on here?_ he thought to himself. The creature began doing the same as the one before it, but took no notice of Chris. Watching the creature Chris saw that it was identical to the original even to how it attacked, and with this knowledge he started his attack.
Chris stood and yelled at the creature, his voice sounding like a mix of dragon roar and human speech. "Hey!" He started. "What do you think you're doing?" As he finished he charged the creature rearing back his hand, that had small claws each about the size of a pocket knife, and as he approached he swung for the creatures shoulder hoping to sever it.
