Quick question relating to some of the canon! Does all of Athena's children have to be blonde or is that just a coincidence that they all are?

Narcissistic - the thing all Athena kids share is grey eyes, not blonde hair. (Athena is most commonly a brunette in the series.)

I knew Athena was a brunette but her children were all blonde which threw me off a little! Anyhow, now that that's out of the way, I'll begin work on my CS and hopefully, I'm going to try get through Percy Jackson and the Olympians series again!

Did Nico even really get THAT much character development? To do that to Percy? I mean, it was never implied that he was thinking anything of the sort, so I don't exactly see...

Thanks for letting us know, Narcissistic. No time or effort really wasted though so no worries.

Also, I'm still waiting on sheets (and I'm not trying to rush you guys, just making a statement) so once the remaining list posts sheets and/or withdraws we'll start. I'd rather have all participants listed at least have characters in the approval process before beginning so I have a better feel for how to start it.

Have you read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series?

Name: Vincent Manson
Age: 16
Godly Parent: Eris
Years at Camp: 10

Ability: to create discord and conflict in his enemies, or just wherever he goes.
Skills: Vincent is a great fighter, and he fights with chaotic fierceness.. Over his time he has spent a lot of time with the Haphestis kids who don't really mind him all that much, and he has done quite a bit in the forage.

Weapon of Choice: A pair of Adamant Butterfly swords with etchings on it.

Appearance: Vincent is roughly six feet tall but that's hard to tell, as is his weight. His hair is brown but sometimes bits of other colors seem to ripple through, gone in a second. He is fair skinned and his eyes seem to be blue, but at times they can change based on his mood. He wears a brown leather flight jacket over a camp half-blood tee-shirt and a pair of jeans. He has a checkered black and white scarf with the chaos symbol on it. Most of the time when he smiles would look like a serial killer, not helped by his chaotic tendencies. He doesn't wear armor, saying that it doesn't fit him. When he fights he usually will take off his jacket, but he keeps on his scarf.

Personality: Vincent tends to be a bit mischievous, and even obnoxious. His abilities that he inherited from his mother caused most others to fight, so he learned to keep to himself. Overall he is belligerent and unsociable much of the time, and he likes to do his own thing. He is easily excitable, and sometimes violent.

Brief History: Vincent's father was a high official in the religion of discordianism, and incidentally called on the goddess while doing some made up ritual really high on acid. The goddess propositioned him and he didn't have anywhere near the mental faculties to even make an attempt to turn her down. She left him immediately, perfectly happy to let him think it was just a weird drug induced wet dream, and soon bore her son Vincent. She left him in an orphanage in LA, thinking the hardships and strife he would face their would help him. Years later he ran away, beginning to set off across the country. He didn't have much problems with the monsters, because they would fight if they got near him. He made it to the camp at the age of 6, and that was just the beginning of his problems. He was always a good fighter, but he always felt that the old sword and shield vibe restricted his fighting style.

When he was ten his mother gifted him with Adamant Ingots, and he used them to craft a pair of Butterfly swords. He chose to make Butterfly swords because when he saw them in a book he felt they would be perfect for him. His fighting style was something he relay couldn't learn from Charon, so he just decided to make it up on his own terms. On the blades he has two engravings, each one with a symbol of his mother. On one blade it has a chaos symbol, while the other has a symbol for his mother's golden apple. When he fights he uses his ability to cause the enemy ranks to break, and they fight each-other while he takes them out.

When gods other then the Olympians began to get their own cabins, Erie knew it would be fun to get her's up first. So immediately she called in a favor with Hermes and sent a really small package to Vincent. The little box contained a golden seed, which he was directed to plant where the cabin would be. He has never really slept with all those others whose parents didn't have a bunk, His abilities didn't work well with a crowd. Since he was six he had been camping behind the big three cabins and he planted the seed right their. In the morning a fully formed cabin was made, although it looked like a hodgepodge of styles. Somehow it looked good, and it began the second ring of cabins along with the one constructed for De'Angelou and his father Hades.

Yeah. Sorry I was writeing my sheet, I read it religiously until the first series stopped. I've also read the others, but that doesn't particularly matter. I hope you don't mind my charicter's background, it's certainly unique.

Okay, 22xander, at this point I'm going to have to say I don't think you'll ever actually get him to a point where I'll accept him. I keep saying I want to keep close to canon and you keep going with things that aren't.

I request you don't try with another character as it is a fundamental issue, not just character.
