"So, you don't know anything?" The officer asked, his stern voice spoke slowly, as if he expected Nathan not to follow the conversation "no, I don't know anything I told you I was just trying to save that woman. THey attacked her, I swear" his voice rose a bit, the officer shook, startled "don't yell at me, boy" his hand moved to his night stick. Nathan raised his eyebrow slightly, "look, are you really gonna arrest this cities only chance?" Nathan said again, his hands on the table started to steam. The officer smiled "shoot the camera" he said. Puzzled Nathan fired a small smoke shot at the camera, the camera shattered and fell from the wall "look kid, we don't have allot of time and I need you to know something". He pulled out a file and slid a picture of a young girl with reaper makeup "this is Scorn, leader of the Reapers". Nathan had heard of them but only ran into them once or twice, he knew about there rise to power in the last couple of months but never really took notice "I need someone on the inside" he explained "and all my officers are too chicken too do it, I know what you do daily for the city is allot but We need you". Nathan nodded. "Good, take this ear piece, my names Godwin, we will meet again after you have gotten in". A few armored officers stormed the door, Nathan grabbed the ear piece jumped across the table and misted into a nearby vent,in a few minutes he shot out of the pipe on the roof, using his thrustars to land on the sidewalk, no one seemed to notice. He walked into a coffee shop to think about the day so far.

Reaper Queen? Jacob mused briefly, watching as Scorn disappeared down the tunnel seeming quite pleased with herself. As soon as she was out of sight Jacob allowed his head to fall into his hands, his skull hurting for no doubt a number of reasons. The sudden silence seemed to help though, as even after a few minutes whoever had been at it stopped their screaming from before. So all I need to do is help with 'projects'?, Jacob thought, pushing himself to decide that whatever chance next presented himself he would take. For now though he lay back down, drowsy and somewhat disoriented but still not tired enough to sleep.

Gavin Ashcroft

It seemed odd to Gavin that, in a town full of superheroes, there'd be so little to do. He walked along, hands jammed deep into his pockets, as he mused about his less-than-stellar superhero career thus far. True, he hadn't been in New York long, but with everything that Curdun Cay had forced down his throat during his tenure there, he thought he'd be tangling with Reapers from the moment he'd stepped off the bus. But no- the best he'd done so far was Employee of the Month at the call center where he worked. Not exactly stellar for a budding super.

It's not exactly my fault, though. I'm still new to the city, and so by the time I figure out anything's going on and make it to the scene, it's pretty much cleared up by the time I get there. He sighed, a few sparks escaping from his lips as a sign of his frustration. But still- the lack of stimulation is becoming... annoying. Come on, a sign, a hint, anything! All I need is one good lead--

His monologue broke off as a man suddenly landed on the sidewalk some distance ahead of him, flaring jets of steam from his hands to break his fall. Instantly Gavin's eyebrows shot up in surprise as he stopped, watching as the Conduit looked around frantically- and too quickly, as Gavin seemed to escape his notice- and started walking quickly to a nearby coffee shop. Interest now fully piqued, Gavin started to (hopefully) discreetly follow the young steam Conduit, offering a quick prayer of thanksgiving for this lucky break.

Perhaps I have found my first foray into heroism...? He almost shivered in anticipation at that thought.

-----TIME JUMP-----

Scorn

There should stood inside the museum itself granted she did not wear her normal face makeup that she loved for if she had a scene would of been made and she would of lost her closest chance of capturing one of the higher syndicate members if her little bird was right with the information he had overheard back in Zeke's bar a few days back. She had carefully planned out everything. Where her men would be inside and out, waiting and watching, acting like any other tourist that visited this dull place. She herself would not ever go there for personal reasons. It was to dull, never exciting and she was banned anyways, luckily she knew a backdoor which was why she was inside now acting like all the other humans who found some dusty relic interesting.

Of course the one plus were the kids, even if human kids were still nice to see, how unaware and care free they were, not knowing the grim truth. Something she only wished she could of given to the girl she had tried to protect. She shook her head, it was better to stay in the present and focus rather then put her mind else where. She continued on her merry way, entering an exhibit that had only been recently put up, one for conduits. Most of the objects were old junk that came from the ruins of Empire City yet one thing that stood out was the ever famous Amp which was the center piece. Wielded by the Saint of New Marais. It was on tour for the time. She could only laugh at it. Cole how powerful he was yet foolishly he squandered it. Oh indeed she would of rejected the beast herself, she could hardly seen a reason to destroy everything and rebuild when that was unnecessary. Humans only need to be shown there place, which was the line to extinction like so many inferior species that led to them, now they were leading to the next evolution.

Still what attracted her more was what remains of the Reapers they had pulled from the ruble of the old Empire City. A few beat up jackets, one even supposedly belonging to the old leader."Oh how you should see what I have turned the group into," she whispered to herself.

Kiera

There she was now, wondering why she was even doing this somewhat. Why not leave it to the CTU or the police? After all they no doubt knew by now that something was going to happen, someone would of tipped them off. Yet here she was, putting herself in the center of it knowing that whatever happened, it wasn't going to end good. She had no doubt that Scorn would be somewhere as well, hidden away, which might of been part of the reason why she decided to go to the museum. To try and stop her, though she doubted she could do that, she knew better then to hope that she could just miraculously change Scorn yet she felt like she had to try. She tried to hide her worry, having yet to still tell anyone about her relation to Scorn. She had been close sharing the information with Eli but panicked internally and decided against it.

Unknown Perspective

The cameras moved around the museum watching all those that entered. Instead of the normal guard, a new person had taken the place, they had taken out the guard leaving them out cold and locked away to keep them from stopping what was about to happen. Even despite the disguises of the guards, CTU agents, police, or the Reapers couldn't hide them from him. Only one he couldn't find of the Reapers was the leader. There would also be those pestering conduits who had to try and save the day if anything went wrong but he and his associates didn't think they would make much of a difference, the goal of this task was still the same. Soon the commotion would block out what was truly going on and bring them one step closer to the ultimate reward: The end of the bio-terrorist blight.

His phone rang and he quickly opened it."We're in," he responded.

"Good," a dull robotic voice stated ",Is it as we expected?"

"Yes it is," the man in the camera said with a smug smile ",Couldn't of been done better."

"Good, keep your eyes on the cameras," the voice on the other end said before leaving the conversation, now it was a matter of time.

Cruor

Cruor was walking around the Museum, wearing normal clothes, his new weapon easily hidden beneath his clothes as he scanned the perimeter, currently blasting metal music in one ear to help drown out the dissonance that all the regular human's were making. Without his music, he would've lost it and killed everyone around. As it is, he just calmly surveyed the situation, keeping calm as he looked at the pieces of rubble from Empire City. Why this was of any real importance was beyond him, as Cruor gave little thought to Cole McGrath, not really caring about what he had done. Cruor was not one for grand ideals and past glories, instead, he kept his mind locked in the present, or the future was unknowable and the past was much to painful. The only thing that natter was, and always will, be the here and now of the present.

Ash

Ash was currently walking around the inner perimeter of the museum, keeping an eye out for any Conduit punks that might want to make off with the Amp. Of course there was a bunch of other Crap, but the Amp was the only thing of real value. A person could probably make a fortune selling that thing to the right buyer, and Ash was her to make sure that didn't happen, He took a drag of his cigarette, his fifth one since he'd started his shift around 30 minutes ago, breathing out a stream through his nose as he eyed the thing. He felt like the thing should be used, not kept stuck in some damn museum like a trinket. It was a weapon, a famous one sure, but a weapon all the same and one that can be easily re-made. Just leaving it to rust in a glass case seemed like such a waste to him.

Oh well, they didn't pay him to consider this stuff, they paid him to guard it, and he barely got them to do that much.

"So remind me what the plan is exactly," Jacob asked his associate; one of the other reapers that had been sent with him under the pretext of 'supervision'. He wasn't a conduit but seemed to hold respect with Scorn, and as a result was a bit demanding of getting similar respect from Jacob- this being his first actual job since joining. Though there was a briefing of sorts things seemed a little need to know, even if it was mostly due to the fact that the job seemed simple enough. So there the two of them were; sitting on a bench together near the Fossil Hall in the museum trying to look like normal citizens until the call for action came. Jacob just wasn't sure what the call would call for.

"There is no 'exactly'," the reaper known as 'Mikey' replied, his tone sounding impatient, "and that's why we're here. We- or I should say you- are a sort of mix between 'the Calvary', 'a distraction', and 'Plan B'. If for whatever reason things need to get destructive, or the Government officials show up, you are going to put your talents to work and make waves."

"And that's all we're doing, right? Just making waves?" Jacob asked, the concern evident in his voice as he looked across the room before him. His eyes fell on the large Tyrannosaurus fossil in the center of the room, it's massive frame held up by poles and wires. It had been a day or two since he'd run out of medication, and though he'd brought up his need and his lack of money it was for some reason being put off. He'd started seeing things more often, and right now was no different as the stress of not really knowing what would happen was getting to him.

"More or less," Mikey replied, his eyes following Jacob's to the exhibit before them. "That one should be easy to make something from, eh?" he then laughed, shaking Jacob's shoulder to pull him from whatever trance he'd fallen into. "You'll do fine, man," he then commented, his tone becoming a bit more serious, "To make things a bit clearer look at it this way; if we need it, you're going to give people something to shoot at and that's all."
