It is also possible that a PM RP will be very SFW. It is necessary to keep them distinguished, if the two are recognized at all. While I doubt this will be the route, it's possible to simply ban inappropriate interest checks themselves.

In reality it is above our heads and Mahz is the sole person capable of creating new forums. We have had discussions on the guild multiple times in the past but it usually boils down to an issue of switching from tolerating to condoning those kind of rps and the reality that we can't enforce an 18+ standard. That being said, the other side that wants to split the more 'traditional' roleplays off from these makes plenty of sense too.

It's a situation that has no easy answer in my mind.

Biggest problem with the term "libertine" is that we've got quite a few here who aren't in possession of particularly verbose vocabularies. Many of those won't get this term.

While we think it's good to expand their vocabularies, it might not be optimal to do it in this system.

It's happening as is. The IntChk of 1x1s is filled with X looking for X. Question is, do we want to give other 1x1ers more visibility?

The moralizing concept of denying people their ability to have shut RPs is something that doesn't belong on the guild. Sure, they had better do the textually graphic stuff to PMs, but it won't stop existing.

If we recall correctly, Mahz stated something about at least half of the guild's posting being in PMs. Thus, facilitating the RPs for those people is only fair.

I just think it's easier to have a sub-section within 1x1 for libertine interest checks and for the number one requirement of rules are for it to take place in PM's and of course, be 18+.

I'm still thinking for another term other than libertine that isn't informal so other people can know what it means.
