There was a man and two girl standing at the door. Harry had seen one of them a few times before around the area but the other two were complete strangers. "I'm Harry, you?" he said.

"Ah okay," Ice says, right as Harry opens the door. She smiles at him and says, "Hey, Harry. It's Ice, remember?" She isn't too good with names either, so she doesn't blame him. She watches Oliver and Cereys talk to Harry while she's leaning up against her door frame. It is curious to see a sibling pair like this around.

Harry turned around for a second quickly scanning his memories for all the times he had met ice, careful not to let anyone to see his eyes. "Oh yeah Ice of course I remember" he said turning around. "What brings you guys here?" he asked.

Philip walked into the break room and set his backpack on the table seeing Justin sitting at the other end playing his PSP. "Took you long enough," Justin said, then smiled. "Ha, ha, very funny." said Philip, pulling carrots, onions, and potatoes out of his bag. "I just harvested these last week, so they should be really fresh. "Cool." said Justin, pulling some electronics, some of them busted, from his backpack, along with a few packs of rechargeable batteries he'd found in someone's house. "Here's what I've found recently. What do you want?" Just then they heard something from the front of the store and Justin stood up. "You get behind them in case it's the Blades." he said. "I'll find a place to take cover and attack them from." Philip nodded and cloaked, heading to the front of the store. Justin squatted beside the door into the back of the store. If they came back here he'd have to attack, then hide. Guerrilla tactics seemed to be the best way to deal with them. When Philip got to the front, all he saw was a young man, alone, searching the store. He's probably just hungry thought Philip as he got near the man. When he was sure that the man didn't have reinforcements nearby he appeared behind the man. "Can I help you?" he asked.

"We were just wondering around. We don't really have a purpose of being here" Oliver admitted. "Do you mind if we come in? All of us? So we can actually get to know each other. I haven't seen people in a long time. Haven't talked to any for a lot longer"

Cal turned around and looked at Harry. She flew off of the girl's shoulder and transformed to her human self, standing next to the man she had been watching. "By the way. I'm Calypso, but I go by Cal," she said. She looked at Harry, suspicious.

John was walking through the city, heading back to his apartment after a long day of traversing Redbridge. He was exhausted and about ready to keel over. As he passed an apartment building he heard footsteps behind him. His stomach dropped in fear. He didn't know which was worse. The footsteps belonging to Blades, or Outcasts. He whirled around, his hands starting to glow with a white light, absorbing the light from sources in nearby apartments. As he finished his rotation, a red light shot through the air and grazed his shoulder. His arm burned like hell and he clenched his teeth to keep from screaming. Good news was that now he knew who he was dealing with. A Blade patrol. In his opinion, much better than angry Outcasts. John dove behind cover as did the Blade who had shot him, and his two partners. John closed his eyes, blocking out the sound of the lasers from the Blade's guns hitting the rubble he was hiding behind. Finally his hand began to glow brightly. Tendrils of light snaked out, creeping towards the blades. The tendrils wrapped around their throats and lifted them into the air. The Blade's clawed at their throats, trying to get air. John stepped out from behind cover and looked at them, anger in his eyes. He considered intensifying the heat of the tendrils so that they burned the Blade's but his conscience took over. He waved his hands and the Blade's were sent flying back, hitting an apartment building with an audible thud. His hands were shaking as he started to return to his original path, the gun in hand.

The facial expression Cal displayed confused Harry, what were they thinking? "Yeah sure if you want, I could use some company, its been a long time since I've had a proper conversation" Harry turned around and walked into his apartment signalling for everyone to come in. As he walked to his seat he quickly replayed the memory of the reaction Cal had.

Cal walked in and sat down. "Did you warn these two because you just happen to know that most of us shapeshifters rob or have you had firsthand experience?" she asked.

Oliver and Cerys followed Harry into the apartment. Oliver took a seat and Cerys quickly sat next to him. "How long have you been on your own?" Oliver asked as he waited for the others to come in. He listened to what Cal said. "Wait you were going to rob us?" Cerys looked around. It wasn't much. Quite run down. But what could she expect in times like these.

"What?! No! I'm not that kind of shapeshifter!" Cal quickly said. She didn't want to lose someone she'd befriended.

Oliver let out a small laugh. "I know don't worry" he said. They were still waiting for Ice to come in

Lily was taking a inside a nearby tree. Bob and Pip had carved out a small space - enough for her to fit. Her three 'kids' were currently outside the tree, pretending to be normal items and guarding her rest. The sound of Oliver and the rests group caused Dae the bird to wake up Lily in alarm. "What is it Dae?" she mumbled groggily. "People? Here?"

Ice wanders in behind them slowly. She has never been inside Harry's place before. She walks behind Oliver and leans up against the back wall. She stays silent as she listens to them talk.

Oliver turned around as Ice walked in. He made eye contact and gave a little smile before he turned back to Harry and waited for him to finish talking

"So what brings you people round here?" Harry said as he pulled out a chair and sat down. "I mean Ice i've seen you before but not any of you other people, are you friends of Ice?"

"No, not exactly," Cal said. She transformed into a swallow, then into a baby fox, then back into a human. "So, you seemed to recognize me as a shapeshifter before. Did you warn these two because you just happen to know that most of us shapeshifters rob or have you had firsthand experience?" she repeated to Harry. She was actually really curious.

"I've just heard stories about..." Harry used this as an opportunity to hide his powers "...your kind, the outcasts, and I thought these two could have been humans in danger".

"We're human. Outcast or not!" Oliver said

Cal nodded, agreeing. "Yeah, just because we have weird powers doesn't mean we're any different from you. Most of the time our strange abilities help us, a lot!"
