14 years old. Daniel looks a little old for his age, which- along with some decent clothes- keeps anyone from questioning whether he has a home. He has brown hair, about down to his earlobes, and green eyes. Daniel's power is sound manipulation. This can manifest itself in every way from amplification to pitch alteration, but he tends to make use of it in other ways in combat. He uses instruments, primarily an electric guitar, to use these powers in battle. He theoretically could do it using any noise, but the instrument acts as a focus, as (similar to most supernatural abilities in fiction) he can't use them without a clear mind, and a battle is a hell of a place to achieve concentration. Chord types correspond to their effects; a minor chord, for example, is a malevolent effect, while something like a D7 would have a more neutral effect, and an F chord would be benevolent. As for his life, he's an orphan. No one really ever figures it out, since he gets a decent amount of cash from playing on street corners, and occasionally getting a legitimate gig in a bar or something. Still, you can't live on the street for your entire teenage life without the government eventually finding out, so he's taken the Academy as his home.

Going to give this one a try. Name: Michael Len Age: 16 Appearance: Gift: Gravity manipulation. Michael can manipulate, create or nullify gravity in different locations of his choosing. He uses these invisible "gravity spheres" for many things, such as flight, augmenting or decreasing the weight of objects and even during fights to make his enemies lose their footing or pin them by increasing local gravity many times over. Bio: He was born to a middle class family but his father was killed in a home invasion. After that, his mother worked herself to death, trying to support him and his sick grandparents. He was sent to the academy after the death of his mother and he's been a lone soul without a purpose thus far. Alignment: Middle ground / undecided.

She never really fit in. She loved listening to metal and rock music and hated going to church and being conservative. She ran away when she was fourteen and wandered the streets for what seemed like a very long time. She grew up quickly on the streets. Name: Kat Winters Age:16 Gender: female Appearance: Gift: she is a pyro. She can summon and bend fire, she has trouble controlling it especially when she is scared or upset and has burnt people she care about. Bio: She grew up being the oldest of her and her sister living with two parents. Then one day everything changed when her parents got divorced and out of being upset and confused in the middle of the night the house was in flames. Her family was dead and she ran away and lived in the streets until she heard about this school. Doing everything she could to get accepted by talking to the administers and working for a year she got enough money to attend and left England to go to the school. The people in her town think she is dead her friends think she is dead and she didn't go to her family funeral and hasn't seen anyone from that town since.

He could be short circuited if splashed with water while using his electricity and he also has problems with electronics and also insulated material items can negate his electricity. Also if he uses his gift too much he will have to recharge. Bio: When Tyler's dad found out that his mother was pregnant he refused to raise it and ran away. Tyler's mother couldn't afford to take care of him so she gave him up for adoption. Tyler grew up in an orphanage and would never get adopted because there was something strange about him. When ever he gets near lights they would go out instantly as if they been drained. Tyler of course didn't know why this happen but he just ignored it since it might be nothing. He never made friends when he was little since the other kids were scared of him. When he was finally 13 he realized that he could manipulate electricity. He would experiment with his gift everyday and spend his time reading books on electricity. When he turned 15 anything electrical didn't drain out by themselves anymore but when he touched them he feel energy flow through him. Then when he turned 17 he got letter saying that he was eligible to join Waverly Academy where he can to control his power. Alignment: Neutral/He's thinking about it

Name: Rika Age: 16 Gift: Atmospheric manipulation, or to put it simply; controlling air. When she gets really angry she has been known to create fully-fledged storms. (With rain and lightning, although these she doesn’t create, they just get dragged in with the swirling mass of air currants.) Bio: A fighter to the core, Rika grew up on the streets fighting for her life. This makes it hard for her to trust others and so most people only see the hard shell she puts up to avoid getting hurt, however if you were able to crack this shell open Rika is quite a kind girl. Her temper matches the wind, changing constantly, fueled by whatever emotion she currently feels. She also struggles to hold a grudge, and has a weak spot for sweet things. Neutral.

Her aunt is old-fashioned and wants Scarlet to marry well and keep up the reputation and social standing of the Dane family. When Scarlet developed her powers a few years ago, her aunt started sending her away to different schools for the gifted, trying to “fix” her. Scarlet is not interested in maintaining the social standing of the family or hiding or getting rid of her powers like her aunt wants, leading them to have had several fights over the last few years.
