It exudes badassary. It's such a fun spy movie because for me, most that come out are too serious and stuffy but Kingsman did so well with the gadgets and fight scenes, it was well worth my money but hey, if I can see it again online, I just might. Colin Firth is such a great guy, so glad to see him being an action hero while keeping it classy as fuck. It was a good wink to spy movies and tropes. *nods and claps* Well worth the trip away from my computer lol EDIT: Yes, go watch it. I only saw the trailer once or twice but since then, I knew me and my dad had to go check it out together. :3

Ok I've read it and will make the needed changes to his weapon. I was hoping we could utilize the father's death as future plot twist if it fits into the story, but if not it can just stay there or I can cross it out.

I try not to use individual's events for plot twists since it can lean a story too close to one player and I wanna make sure the RP is about everyone equally. It's fine as is but if you wanna nix it, that's cool too but it likely won't be a ref. in the future since it just seems a little coincidental if that happened.

Weapon of Choice

Wielding two handheld, 36-inch rapiers, Harlequin is effective while engaged in short range combat. Besides utilizing the rapiers as a cutting armament, it also contains an internal heat source that he has the authority to manipulate. Whether it be burning the blades to a scalding temperature during battle to make for smoldering lacerations or for medical purposes: scorching open wounds in order to close them, its fire element is useful in various situations. However, using this aspect of the rapiers causes large energy drainage depending on duration of use. For example, 15 minutes worth of heat can cause Takeshi to feel groggy and light headed afterwards while 30 minutes may bring about nausea and a pounding headache. Overheating the blade can also result in breakage of the weapon and an extended time for regeneration. This poses as a disadvantage during battle since he may be unable to defend himself with either rapier whichever becomes unusable if not both and make for a vulnerability. Having taken casual kickboxing lessons since he turned 20 (4 years of experience) has also granted Takeshi with valuable speed and agility.

Cell Phone: Personality: (+)Sociable: Although he may come off as stuck-up and intimidating at first glance, if you take the time to talk to him and get on his good side, he’s actually easygoing, friendly, and at times idiotic (in a humorous sense). (+)Reliable: If instructed to carry out a task, you can be well assured that he’ll complete it swiftly and correctly. According to social terms, he is trustworthy and is the type to keep his trap shut and mind his own business. (+)Motivated: Takeshi is one to get things done as quickly and efficiently as possible. He doesn’t need external support from anyone to accomplish his goals and once he’s set his mind on something, he sees it through to the end. (+)Moral: Spotting anyone who could use a hand, it's likely that he'll take the initiative and help out. Often times, this attribute results in showing up late to work or class because he’ll literally stop to aid strangers no matter the situation. In other words, the tug of his conscience is very strong. (-)Guarded: Kind of like a chipmunk who hordes nuts for winter, Takeshi will mask and pile up his negative emotions inside as best as he can. Eventually, this leads to breakdowns where he may display an unusually short temper or zip his lips in extended periods of taciturnity. As much as possible, he controls his emotions enough so he can blow up at home instead of work although his teammates may notice a difference in attitude when nearing his breaking point. (-)Finicky: He likes to see or have things executed in a particular way and when its not, it bothers him. For example, choosing a dish from a menu or cleaning his apartment would take a little bit longer for him compared to the average person.

Background

Prior to the booming age of the DgtWld, Takeshi was your average teenage male brewing up trouble with his group of friends, flirting with girls, and dealing with school. He lived in a household made up of a father, a younger sister, and a cat. All in all, his life was pretty simple and he was satisfied with it. As technology continued to push forward as a dominant figure nationwide, its advances eventually merged with the Gvn becoming a major part of not only daily life, but becoming life itself. 2016, the year MChips were compulsory the moment a baby was born into the world. Anyone who did not have one was required to attain one immediately; there was no other way to live so rebelling was impractical. Upon obtaining an MChip (at 18) and utilizing its capabilities to go anywhere and do anything at his will, reality started to dull and Takeshi no longer felt fulfilled with the real world like he used to. His father was laid off from work as a police officer since crime rates were plummeting monthly and supporting a family of three was put onto his shoulders although the hardship was lessened by the fact that because of the modern electronics, the economy was thriving and goods were extremely affordable. Juggling a job in a vet clinic while also struggling with college, Takeshi jumped at the chance to become a Corrector the moment he was offered the opportunity. Paying for bills, education, and keeping food on the table can stack up rather quick when you're a 20 year old with relatives to take care of. His father sunk himself into addiction with the DgtWld and Takeshi rarely ever saw the elderly man get out of bed to do anything; often, Takeshi would have to barge in and force feed his father just to keep the guy from dying of starvation. A year before graduation (2021 and 23 years old), his dad passed away mysteriously in his bed while roaming the Digital World. The investigation was short and they told him the death resulted from a stroke and had nothing to do with the program. Did he believe it? No, but Takeshi wasn't going to risk his relationship with the Gvn to pry into the issue. Currently, he still inhabits the quaint two bedroom home his father left for his sister (Ume) and himself along with their feline (Yoi). His day-to-day routine consists of mothering his younger sibling and cat, heading out to vet school, completing Corrector tasks, and laboring night-shift at the vet clinic. As for his hobbies and social life, he manages to find time to spend with other Correctors around Tokyo, takes occasional off-days to enjoy the DgtWld and all the entertainment it provides as well as physically going out into the city. Kickboxing sessions take place at least once a week to keep himself in shape for both Corrector and health related purposes.
