I'm enjoying seeing the characters you all have came up with so far! I have a few different characters thought out that I think will work but I'm going to wait until tomorrow so I can take in consideration any new characters that might be accepted before deciding which character to go with. Anyways since I'm a bit preoccupied tonight I wouldn't be able to get to my laptop anyways to work on things.

OK, my character's up. And that may be the most depressing story I have ever written.

I will be making a character shortly. I'll probably post it tonight because I have driving school all this week.

Don't take my word for it but every roleplay I've been in that @Penguin ran didn't have a player limit so I don't see a reason why you couldn't get a character sheet up.

So, I am thinking of a character that will be able to use electricity. However, I am trying to make him so he is not overpowered, as I can think of multiple ways that he can. Any thoughts? Also, was thinking of putting a slow-acting healing factor that would, for example, let him regenerate a arm in a week's time by siphoning power. Thoughts? Advice? Criticism? I welcome it.

Yeah! I tend to just let everyone in before the RPG begins since half the people vanish for some reason. Usually they leave a nice number behind haha.

I played/still play a character with electric powers and in an attempt to limit his powers, I made it so that he wasn't entirely immune to the effects of the electricity and it actually hurt him. Not as much as it would a normal person, but still... It also led to some interesting story when he became addicted to painkillers to deal with it.

Alright, thanks. I'll get a sheet up pretty soon.

Alright, I'll give you what I know. To balance an electricity person, there's usually one way that people do, which is to make their voltage pretty low. But with the healing factor thing, that might mean your character is like made of lightning or something, so you could make their power hard to control. Those are the 2 ways I figure that your weakness wouldn't get in the way of day-to-day functionality that much. That said, I'd opt for the lower output. You could just say that his cells are restored via electrical energy but he has limited control over elecreicity as well.

@Lord Santa I a bit concerned about your character in comparison with @Caits. I'm not a GM so you'll probably have to see what both Penguin and Caits because both of your characters are blind and use very similar powers to see so you are pretty much playing a copy of Pamela.

I'd say I would change Pamela, because I'm gnerally easy going and happy to do that...but I want to play her like she is.

Hmm, I need your thoughts everyone. I was originally thinking of playing a character in the 22-24 year old range but I've noticed we have a lot of older teens so I wonder if playing someone younger would be in the best interest of the group. I have a few characters and powers in mind for both age range so I'm fine going in either direction. Thoughts?

@Caits @Lord Santa It seems like Cait's character is more thought based while Lord Santa's character has to do with sensing objects. It's a bit close but it seems to me they are not the same thing. Lord Santa maybe elaborate ? @Kirra I think you should play the character you think you'd enjoy the most. Forget what everyone else is doing and do what you will enjoy :)

The minimum is a paragraph at least, as stated in beginning post. @Penguin (I just want to add the TheMagical in front of your name so much!), I will be throwing up my CS in a day or so to allow my brain to think of everything I need to do. DO I need to pm you it or just post in the character part?
you can just post it!

Fine, I'll make a nine year old. But in all seriousness, my target age if I was to play a younger character would be 12-14 but more likely around the upper range of that. I work around younger kids enough that I rather not play a character that age (much less my pet peeve of seeing someone play a kid that doesn't have the knowledge of what that age group is and is not capable of). @Penguin:That's the problem though since I'm quite content playing nearly anything. However I think I've narrowed down the type of character I'm going to go with but I'm half tempted of having a secondary character after seeing your sheets.
