Very nice. Like why Yang and Ruby have different surnames, but aren't cousins, adopted, etc. We know the basic backstories of Team RWBY, but the ones I want to learn about are Team JNPR.

His work on the last couple seasons of Red vs Blue were fantastic, and it was a lot more plausible given that they are more or less Spartans. It loses me when you have a bunch of scrawny high school girls in impractical outfits running through crowds of bad guys swinging their massive blades and killing everything without any apparent effort, including heavily armoured and apparently well-trained soldiers.

Define "well-trained". As far as we know, the White Fang doesn't have a military structure, although they are violent. And as for high school girls in clothing like they are, you won't hear one complaint from me.

He doesn seem to attract her spear... magnetic aura/personality?
-I mean, he made friends with Ruby (the wall-flower that drinks milk) for cripesakes, even after vomiting on her shoes...
-Weiss is a little too tsundere to show it and you know it.

Take a look at how eagerly she jumps on saying that Jaune would make a fine leader in their first meeting. And that look when she pins him to that tree. And the entire fiasco with Cardin. As for Weiss, I have yet to find a character to ship her with. I know people ship her with Blake, but I ship Blake with Yang.

That luggage-rack was a little too convienently placed by "the smartest girl of the class", eh?

Theory: The luggage rack appeared AFTER Yang left. And Weiss was pretty much standing right next to said rack, likely within earshot.
Weiss seems like the kind to panic in a social situation (not unlike Ruby), opting for a rather contrieved way of appearing dominant and/or 'impressive'.
--Likely, she hoped Ruby would just bump into the rack, and not knock things over and become 'crater face' (a name Weiss has never called her, perhaps due to guilt of causing the situation and then letting it get way out of hand).

She yells at them, because she cares.
As for other numbskulls that Weiss could have easily told-off... Cardin, Penny, and Sun in particular.

Minor spoiler and fridge brilliance alongside realizing Caboose was hand-picked by the director as Agent Florida's replacement, and Tucker is wearing a freelancer's armor. Freelancers generally retained their augmentations. It also could've been Maine, and not Texas that killed everyone in Sidewinder.
-Memory is the key, dog. And it's a key the whole time, and when you stick it in people, it unlocks their death.
