[OOC] Academy 218: Still looking for new people to join - now is the primetime.

Hey reading the IC, for Casper if he replicated a device like his phone or his Playstation, once he goes back to the original won't it not have anything that he did on the replicated version? Like game progress or recent call history or anything?

If Casper plays a replicated version of his Playstation, nothing will be saved on his original one. Once he copies something with a memory card, everything on that memory card will exist within the copy. However, nothing done with the copy will ever affect the original.

Once the copy vanishes, he can replicate a new phone or playstation, if he does, the replica has the same information saved on it that the original did. The previous replica doesn't exist anymore, along with anything that was saved on it.

Are your characters going to go to Adam's, or Ruben's classes? If no one says anything, then I'll assign your characters to a class. Because this is important for what will happen later.

Kind of annoying that we can't take both classes. It seems dumb that there would only be one timetabled session of a class for the whole week, given the size of the school. I'm sure a lot of us would rather take both, given the opportunity.

As it stands, I will reluctantly sign up for Adam's class. I hoped for Mason to get chance to interact with Ruben, but as he knows so little about his power he really needs to start actively developing it.

We could alternate schedules pretty easily by just saying each teacher has the same class but with all (or most) of the students from the opposing one AFTER their first session. Ruben gets one half, Adam gets the other. Then they switch when they're done. It would play into what Allen wants AND what you and the majority of players/students would like.

Yeah, I agree. I don't really see the point in limiting what classes we take. This is an academy, after all.

Also, why do we have like four characters with telepathic abilities? Spice up your lives.

I believe more than anything there would be some rotation and or ratio of classes, given there would be a curriculum the academy would legally be obligated to uphold, or so I imagine. That said, switching after each class makes the most sense, or each semester.

Obviously it's your call, but I think playing both classes at the same time is going to get confusing. It will be hard to tell who is in which class. I'm all for splitting the classes (otherwise they're going to be huge and not really achieve much), but I think they should be scheduled for different times. Whilst one half goes to class, the other half can be doing something else, perhaps?

I don't know. I just think that as an RP our collective mental capacity is relatively low, and we'll struggle to figure out what's going on if everyone is in two classes at the same time.

It's two and a girl that can copy abilities. Besides at a superschool this large it wouldn't be to unusual for there to be people with the same or very similar powers.
