Earths History, something loved by billions of people. Something hated by Billions of others. During the age of humans on earth, empires have risen and fallen, wars fighting across the planet have been fought, and horrible crimes have been committed, but what if some of these events never happened. What if, for example, Byzantium manages to push back the Ottomans and reform part of their Empire. Another example is what if instead of Spain in 1492 forming colonies in the Americas, the Chinese in the 900 hundreds get to the Americas instead. These events, and thousands more, are up to you to create.

Welcome to Historical Madness, a Nation Roleplay that begins in the year 1936, because of reasons. History, the fragile thing, is up to you to change. Nations that actually existed during the time, such as Germany, can be changed or even erased, and nations that didn't exist during the time, such as the , can now exist. This may make it look like only historical nations can be changed, and yes, while events must focus around historical nations, you are allowed to make new nations that connect to history. Such as a majority Chinese California, or a Majority German South America.

While you are allowed to change history, there are some limits. You can't just make it so Hitler was never born, that would completely ruin it for people who want to come in later on. So here is the limit through time that you can change history, 3600 BC - 1865 AD. From the Foundation of Sumer to some random year I chose. This will at least give most people time to create some interesting history overall, such as for say, Byzantium survives, an Alternate World War 1 happens, Byzantium is given the German treatment, and the Alternate World War 2 is a Greek Hitler.

Rules:

1. History Changes are allowed from 3600 BC to 1865 Ad
2. No Godmoding
3. No Cheating
4. My Word is Final
5. Be realistic
6. Don't argue in OOC, save it for PMS.
7. Don't be too offensive, keep ethnic cleansing to a minimum.
8. No FTL, keep it Early WW2 technology.
Extra (Cause I know it shall be asked). No, nukes are not available right off, but you are allowed to at the beginning of the RP to start developing the Nuke.

Militaristic Description (How is yo army fool):
The Assyrian Army is a well trained task force making up a large minority of the population between 18 - 25. This is because any Assyrian citizen must serve in the army from 18 to 20, and if they do good enough on a test, they must serve from 20 to 25.
The Assyrians prefer ground and air combat over everything, only using sea combat when needed. The Planes are advanced, but the amount of planes they have compared to other larger nations is very low. With only about 5000 high class planes, with the rest being older models.
History:

It stays the same until the Babylonian Revolution, in which the Assyrian armies crush it and put down any sense of independence. After this event, the Assyrians start another age of expansion, as they take the borders they now have today (Except for Cyprus).

The Assyrians stay a power in the region, this is shown in the Greco-Assyrian war, in which the Assyrians fight a long war against the forces of Alexander the great, and eventually, the war ends in an Assyrian victory, with the Assyrians taking all of Eastern Turkey. Alexander the Great forges an alliance with those who managed to survive the invasion which formed the Assyrian-Greek pack. The Greeks end its invasions towards that area and start to focus on other problems.

When the Romans attacked the Assyrians in 120 BC over the state of Antioch, the war was bloody. The superior numbers of the Roman Empire going up against the technology of the Assyrians. In the end, the Assyrian people manage to survive the war and take Cyprus and Crete. The Assyrians don't lose any land from the war, and the Roman Empire must expand to other areas.

In 50 AD, when an Assyrian king visits Jerusalem, he is met by a Christian missionary. The Missionary converts him and the king makes Christianity the state religion.

Time stays the same until the 800s when Islam spreads to the lower lands of Assyria. The Assyrian king accepts it as another Abrahamic religion, and doesn't really do anything other with it. He doesn't make any laws to ban it or anything else.

In 1000 AD, the Egyptians declare war on the Assyrian Empire. The war is fought mostly on the Sinai peninsula, and it results in an Assyrian victory. The Assyrian empire dethrones the Egyptian King, putting a new one in charge.

In 1255, the Assyrians are forced into a war with the Mongols. This war begins the longest war in Assyrian history, known as the Doomsday. The war lasted from 1255 all the way to 1280, and ended in a Stalemate. The Mongol Ruler Möngke Khan started the war with the Assyrians because they wanted to control Baghad.

History stays relatively peaceful for a decent amount of time. Assyrian Assimilation rates go through the roof, with the ethnic majority of Assyrian spreading through the empire. By the time 1492 rolled around, the empire was 70% Assyrian.

In the 1840's, the Commonwealth sells the Sinai peninsula that used to be owned by Egypt the the Assyrians.

Thats it, the Assyrians stay the same from this on. Or by same I mean simply no big wars and the continuation of Assimilation across the empire. The Assyrians are a world economic power and a military powerhouse in the middle east. The Assyrians are also working on a type of bomb said to have the ability to wipe out whole cities.

I would personally say no, but I would allow a dual monarchy, such as the Grand Commonwealth of Great Britain and Spain, meaning that it would be one nation, but it could serve as a sort of colonial empire.

Land Owned: Not sure how to edit map, but they own Oregon, Washington, parts of Idaho and a bit of Northern California.

Diplomacy (Is Peace or War Preferred): Peaceful if they can help it.

Militaristic Description (How is yo army fool): Fair. About the same as America's, assuming nothing has changed. Often they purchase tanks and the like.

History: After the Oregon Trail, which was larger than normal, Oregon decided to split off to avoid picking sides in the Civil War, among other things. They have good relations with America, most of the time, and will likely go to war if whoever controls America decides to. They are defensive allies. Anyways, after the Oregon Trail, gold was discovered in Southern Oregon and people flocked there from the overcrowded Californian mines. This in turn led to the occupation over time of very Northern California. Washington was part of Oregon from the start. Oregon tends to tag along with American technology, acquiring it by economic means.

Yes, as long as you don't use it as your main nation. You can have it make deals with you, and join wars with you. But you shall not be allowed to post OOC posts from the perspective of that nation.

I just realized something that @UltikanaRe and @HaltingBlooper will have to work out. By the looks of it, it seems the Ultikana's country beat the US during the revolution, which would make it impossible for Oregon to leave the US because there would be no US.

Seems ok, only thing is look at my claims, I also have the Sinai peninsula. Would it be ok if I kept control of that.
Edit: Also, In response 2 your giant empire, I shall make mine larger. Just to balance it out a bit. This now means that anyone who joins the game now will be allowed to form large nations with colonies.

Sinai is controlled by the British throughout their colonial empire. I would be willing to work that into my story for some..compensation, however.

You would have to work something out with @UltikanaRe, but I do see that area in the US that is unclaimed, so maybe you can do something there.
