Ryan looked over at Phoebe and just stayed quiet. He knew that he should keep his mouth shut in this situation. It was the best idea. He stayed with her instead of running off. When they were home he nodded to his mother in law. He could not talk her right now. He was too focused. So he walked in behind Phoebe. "We are gonna get through this. We always do no matter what. "He said softly. "It's funny. Daniel doesn't know to run from something like this. Some day he will... Till then I guess we have to do it for him. "Ryan continued. "What do you want to do?"

Makoto entered Ryan and Phoebe's home and allowed them to go upstairs on their own. Of what little she knew of relationships, she knew that coming back together and having a chance to breathe after a tragedy can be key. She cared for her friends more than she could say, and wanted only the best for them. Putting her bag down in the front hall, glad to be rid of it's weight and untied her shoes. She could still see the outline of her cellphone, the one that was indestructible and could contact Storm on. Her heart heaved in her chest, threatening another breakdown but she did her best to hold it in. Everyone had been so strong, she wanted to be too. Standing up, Makoto ventured further into the somewhat familiar house.

"Hello Miss Ivy." she spoke, as respectful a tone as possible. She remembered the flora women's wrath if angered and so Makoto was always careful to tread lightly.

"Arnold is... around. I have no knowledge of his motivations as of right now. Personally, I belive killing him would be an effective and simple solution. I miss Griffin and Zack as much as the next person, but I'm positive they would rather be dead than whatever Arnold has planned." Flood told him in response.

"Before you all scurry away, I might have a solution." Kat appeared as if from no where, speaking loudly so as to attract their attention. "My house is more than large enough, I'm sure. Its location is isolated and remote, so any attacks that may come will not be able to surprise us. Perhaps most importantly, I have no earthly affiliations, no ulterior motives. Granted it's not ideal but, well..." She paused, looking around at what remained of the school, "is any of this really?" She was prepared for the questions, her kith and kin meant may had a predisposition to distrust her. Honestly she would prefer her home not be invaded but they seemed stubbornly resistant to any other ideas.

This madness was tough to deal with. Even someone as hardened as she found the level of stress taxing. It looked like the agent had gone over to talk with Phoebe and had no success in convincing them to go anywhere with SHIELD. More than likely, given how the red haired woman looked she was in the edge. She, Makoto, and Ryan headed off. Well so much for that.

Thankfully Kat seemed to come to the rescue. Most of the time she wouldn't have expected such a generous offer from the Asgardian but she wasn't as detached as everyone seemed to think. Sighing slightly she walks over to Kat and manages a smile. "Thank you very much Kat. I think we'll take you up on that offer. I don't think the students should stay around here any longer than they need to. How should we get everyone to your place?"

"Right now, he is safest with my mother. She knows how to hide, and to stay out of any radar. She'll hate not being a part of this, but, she'll do it. I can't sit back, and let the others avenge the school, find out what happened" Phoebe said softly, looking to Ryan, "I have to be a part of this. But I know daniel will be safe with my mother" how could she describe how much she would miss daniel? She couldn't, but knew she didn't have to. She moved to Ryan, and leaned against him, sighing heavily, before giving him Daniel, and moving out to the living room. She wasn't surprised to see her mother leaving, but knew she would be back. "Are you doing better, Makoto?"

"We aren't killing Arnold flood. I won't be responsible for Griffin and sacks deaths too. We will find a way to deal with Arnold" connor said, running a hand through his hair. Just another thing to figure out, and that's oils have to wait until the calls had been made

"Whatever you say boss. I'll talk to you later. Call me if you have any additional orders." Flood ended the conversation there and hung up the phone. He pulled out his motorcycle from his pocket and threw it towards the road. By the time it hit the ground it was full size and ready to ride. He got on the motorcycle, put on his helmet, and headed home. When he got home he made some tea and began his meditation.

"Yeah, a bit." Makoto sighed, giving her most honest answer. She felt numb and drained but she could keep a hold on herself now, so that was an improvement. "How are you doing?" she asked in turn, wondering what exactly would be shared. Her friend was definitely in a bad way and so naturally Makoto wanted to help where she could. Makoto craved a cup of tea, her comfort drink and she knew the house well enough to be able to locate the kettle. "Should I make us some tea?" She offered, hoping to relax the both of them.

Arnold

People were leaving. He didn't care. Most had places to go. He didn't. He didn't really belong anywhere. The thought Woukd have been depressing if he cared. But he didn't. Not about these people. They were all beneath him, he only cared about important people. Those who saw his greatns.

Ryan did not want to take his son away from them. In his mind he would be safer in Central City with his parents. They were far away from all this and should something terrible happen, Ryan's father could run away with him. But Phoebe did have a point. "If you think so. You know that if you go somewhere, I'm going with you. It's what I do. "He stated simply when she gave him Daniel. He smiled at the little boy when she left. The boy seemed so much like them both. Someday he would be wearing the flash mantle. Hopefully later. Ryan stayed in the room playing with his son. It calmed him down.

Phoebe sighed heavily, and sank down onto the couch. "Not well. That place was my home, when k had no home. It wasn't just because dad was there, but because it's were i first truly felt like I belonged. And now...im scared. How can there be a world without my father?" she fell silent a moment, before shaking her head at Makoto's offer to make tea.

"No, you're are guest. I should do it" she said rising

Connor put his phone down, knowing he would have to deal with everything that was happening at the school eventually. For now though, he turned back to Kijani, "when did Flood start calling me Boss?"

"Well, unless you want to put a group of vulnerable and traumatized beings of immense power on a plane your best option will once again be with me. I used to jump between here and there twice a day, it's an easy journey." Kat explained calmly. She looked over to the medical tent briefly before looking back. "I'm aware this isn't exactly expected behaviour but don't worry about the offer being retracted. If you need an hour, a day, you will still be welcomed. I may not share Thor's devotion to this realm but I will find no joy in innocent deaths I could have prevented."

Kat's Home

As the offers stood, Kagerou knew that not everyone would be on board with any option. Making an executive decision they began to move everyone to Kat's home. The exception were those that expressly chose not to go, which was not many. Weary, battered, and broken a peaceful place to rest was welcome. Kat's residence was far flung from the crowded city the Academy was in. Secluded and surrounded by wilderness it was quite calm and exactly what people needed. As the Asgardian had described the location had ample room for the ragged group. Why she needed such a large place prior to this was anyones guess, but no one was going to complain about it now.

Academy Ruins

Having moved out it was decided to let SHIELD handle transporting the deceased away. However some of the graduated students had stayed to assist and defending. No doubt there were many enemies that would love to get their hands on any number of their DNA, weapons, magic items, and the like. Having left a little prior the newly forming team of June and Nicholas was still lacking on members. They didn't get far though before a disturbance was detected and moving toward the academy. Taking point the vehicle was immobilized and approached by agents. No one appeared to be driving and before they could react a device went off. The electrical signal caused a neurological disturbance and they dropped to the ground. Rolling out of the jeep Lady Lobo grabbed her invention and grinned widely. "Sorry for that peeps, but I have some species to save."

Crushing the burnt out cylinder in her hand she continued walking until bullets began bouncing off of her. At first she snickered before letting out a uncontrolled belly laugh. Ahaha! N-no, s-stop it. That tickles!" Doubling over she fell to the ground. Clearly the bullets weren't working at intended but they deed seem to stop the strange woman's advance. The noise drew Estella's attention, having chosen to stay behind and assist despite being worn down. A fight was about to start and that got her blood pumping.

Nicholas along with June where someplace else away form the ruin,Currently the two were in a prison on the island called Manumit Island where the most dangerous prisoners are.The prisoner they are were looking for a single prisoner named Reinhardt a former student turned hitman.The two came to the island to try to recruit him and hopefully he would say yes it all depends on how good they can convince him.

Flood rolled up in his motorcycle as he stared at the scene of destruction. "It's way to early to be dealing with this! I was just about to fall asleep! Now I gotta kill someone who's immune to bullets, which is complete BS!" He groaned and pulled a small submachine gun off of his belt and aimed at Lady Lobo. "Hey, before I kill you, can I get your name? I have to report this to my boss after I'm done." He asked/yelled at her in the politest tone he could muster.

This Reinhardt would nat have been the first choice on her list of potential allies. He was in prison for a reason. However apparently he had some connection with Nicholas. "S you know this guy. How much can we trust him?" She asked as they were being escorted to a room where they could talk with the inmate. There would still be a layer of bullet proof glass between them so talking was actually through intercom.

Lady Lobo

As Flood approached she seemed to forget about the gunfire, though the agents did cut back a bit so as not to hit the man unnecessarily. Twisting and rolling to her feet she took a bow. "Doctor Grathrak Torsorro. But you humans seem to have trouble saying that so let's just go with Lady Lobo." Rocking heel to toe she leaned forward a bit. "Listen, all I need is a tiny little blood sample from your dead friends and then I'll be on my way. Otherwise I'm going to have to break something." Pinching her fingers together to signify something small. At least until her last sentence and she smiles brightly. It looked as if she liked the breaking something option.

Speaking of the agents the disruption put them into motion and they fast tracked loading everything into the planned transports and began to take off. "Hey, get back here!" Having completely forgotten about Flood she attempted to move around him.

"If all you needed was some blood, you should've said so." Flood then blinked. "Wait... Lobo had a kid!? And she's hot?!" Flood yelled as the agents rushed away. As Lady Lobo tried to move around him, Flood drew his sword smoothly and activated the Fire mode of it. He slashed at her and growled. "You have a problem, take it up with me. Otherwise, they're leaving and you're letting them go." He got into a strange stance that focused on dismemberment and focused on her as he felt adrenaline kicking in.

A reason" Nicholas said to June walking down the long empty hallway being lead though to the cell where Reinhardt would be.

Nicholas was not looking forward to this vist since he couldn't stand him before and thought he would be the same but what he didn't know was that he was much differnt then They lay meet.

As the new day dawn, Phoebe was already up, and was just saying goodbye to her mother, and Daniel. She barely felt composed through it. She sighed softly, and gathering her strength, she went to prepare breakfast, losing herself in her process.

It still didn't seem real to her. The school gone. Her father...

She shook herself, placing toast on plates, and adding eggs, and putting grapes and berries in bowls, putting it all on the table. Breakfast was important, after all. She poured juice for the three of them, and then went to check on Makoto.

Kalinda hadn't left the school grounds until the early hours. In her suit, she studied it all, moving through the shadows with ease, and searching for any clues or hints. When that fizzelled, She went back to her secret base, already putting some things into motion. She had visted some of the students in the infirmary, and with some quick movements, and easy emotional tweaks, had helped those there adjust smoothy, so that they could be ready for what was coming.

As she ran some searches, on auto, Kalinda showered and dressed in shorts and shirt, pulling her hair back, she sat, watching the searches with quick, dark eyes, eating a bowl of cereal.

Then she treated herself to some chocolate, before finally sighing, and rising, she packed her suit, and weapons in a duffel,, once more cancelling all her apointments. It was time to join up with some of the others.

As she headed back to the school, she wondered just who.

Katherin

Katherin didn't go home. She couldn't. It seemed wrong to. She also couldn't just stay at the school. Which left her at something at a lost of where to go. Wanting to stay close enough to help with whatever plan the others came up with she rented a hotel room. When she wake up she looked out the window of her hotel room and sighed. She knew there were people that hated the supers but she never imagined them destroying the school. The school had been there for years. It would take someone pretty powerful to destroy it.

Lady Lobo

A flaming sword in her face got her attention and she put everything in reverse. She would probably be okay all in all but getting cut and burned did not sound like a whole lot of fun. Of course that wasn't what she brought up. "I am not Lobo's kid. Or, well, I guess technically I am. But if he hadn't burst in my lab and injected me with that virus then I wouldn't be this hideous..." Gesturing to her body at the end she stopped and leaned on one leg with her head cocked to the side. Her monolog had trailed off as she looked at Flood with a slight confusion.

How she processed information must have been very selective. She seemed rather oblivious to being threatened other than her initial retreat. Whatever rant she had been on came to a crashing halt. "Hot? What do you mean by hot? Are you calling me attractive?" The idea that anyone would say that to her was a foreign concept. Being a fleshy meatbag with an endoskeleton was far flung from what her species considered beauty. She was practically thrown off her own planet. Although flying a station into a small city probably contributed more to that than how she looks. But she still knew how noninsectoid species were treated there.

"Right. Let's see how this goes." Taking a seat in the little visiting room she glanced at the door on the other side of the glass as it opened. Reinhardt was escorted in and the door was shut behind him. "Hello sir. We have a proposition for you, if you're interested. For some reason our boss thinks you would be a good fit." Pulling out a sheet of paper she pressed it against the window where he could see.
