"I can make anything I want to. Mostly I make weapons. But I can make whatever I need." Roxy told him. She created a tiger out of the shadows near her. The animal even had glowing eyes like a cat might have in the dark it growled low in it's throat at the sight of the gun. The animal would pounce if Jon moved in anyway that seemed threating to her. She was glad to have access to whatever she might need even if it wasn't as damaging as some of the other powers.

@KatherinWinter "Whoah, a living creature?! That I did not expect" he said on the sight of the ferocious purple aanimal. He could now obviously see that she tried to intimidate him again, and that she interpreted his machine gun as a threat of his own.
He knew that this exchange could escalate quicker than he would like to, so he decided to calm down spirits a little. "I didn't yet have any chance with those. I have achieved some crude imitations, though " He proved his point by turning his machine gun into a convincing enough blue bird.
"This is merely an automaton. No emotions, no spirit. It merely flaps is wings every once in a while and chirps happily when you pet its head. " He handed her the bird. "Wanna try?"

Roxy was enchanted by the blue bird. She loved birds and blue birds were her favorite. But she tried to hide her reaction. It was better to not let anyone know what she liked and what she didn't. The more people know the more they would have to use against her. It was safer to keep as much to herself as she could. In the gym she leaned against the wall in the back of the room. It would be awhile before the others would arrive. "No thank you."

@KatherinWinter"No? Okay then. It's a shame; it's my personal favorite. I've been trying to make it glide lately. " He then softly launched the bird forwards. It started gliding for a couple of seconds, then turned the wrong way and planted itself into the ground of the gym.
"Not that much luck with it either" he sighed in dissapointment as he picked the bird up while it was turning back into a pen , "I have seen paper planes fly better than that. It most likely needs an intelligence of sorts to stabilize itself. Until then, I'll have to find a workaround. "

"It's too heavy. Bird have hollow bones. It is doesn't have feathers that bend and catch the wind. Roxy explained to him. She waved away her shadow tiger. She had been impressed that he accomplished as much as he had. She had never seen a metal bird before. She was impressed that it had stayed in the air as long as it had. But she hide that. She wasn't going to trust John just because he impressed her with his toys.

"Hmmm, some interest for birds. Interesting..."
"Its skeleton is actually constructed from titanium " he started explaining, actually a bit excited to have a chance to talk about his projects. "The skeleton itself is hollow, but filed with various components needed for me to channel energy through it- so I cannot get rid of weight as easily until I find a workaround. And the wings are designed to augment lift from the body of the bird, to compensate for their robustness. No, the biggest probkem is the lack of direct control."
An idea then popped into his mind. He looked at the bird, then at Roxy's hands, and then smiled towards her. I don't suppose you could... Help me with that, could you? "

Roxy considered that. Her creations didn't move on their own but with her thoughts and feelings. Unless she called a creature from the shadow realm. Then it would react on his own. "I see. A remote or mind control seem the only ways. But I know little about mechanics." She told him honestly. She had never had any reason to learn about them. Her world was darkness. There were no machines in the shadow realm. Neither of her parents had seen the need for them.

"You don't need to know too much. It is already a hybrid between mortal and divine materials, and everything needed to channel energy through it is already installed. I can make changes in anything I don't longer need after we succeed on controlling it."

Roxy frowned at that. She didn't like the way it sounded. "Im not stupid." She might not be the smartest of the most experienced butt she didn't like having it pointed out. She was just as good as the other godlings. Atleast she wanted to be. The fact that he found her lacking hurt. She couldn't help that her world was different from his. She looked to the door hoping someone else would arrive to save her from having to continue making an idiot of himself.

@KatherinWinter John now felt terrible. "Nonononono, that's not what I meant" he said with haste, and it was completely true. "I just meant that, if you wanted or needed to get a crash course on advanced mechanics, I could help with that."

Roxy crossed her arms and ignored John. She knew if she responded it would be something mean and unkind. It wasn't his fault that she was insecure. He no doubt thought she was a stuck up idiot. She supposed in some ways she was. She didn't know what to do about it. She didn't like admitting that she didn't know something. Especially when it was something that someone was an expert at. Her parents had raised her to be the best at everything, atleast when it came to their world.

@KatherinWinter John's skin was slowly getting paler, and his eyes had the slightest tinge of yellow. He had screwed up big time, he could feel it. She looked angry, but also sad and... vulnerable? That was the last thing he would expect to describe Roxy as, and he knew she would punch him if he said it out loud. But that's what he felt.
He almost thought of hugging her, but he knew by now that her shadow knives were quick to show up. So he merely said "Look, I didn't want you to feel inferior. None is inferior for not knowing something, especially if they never needed it. In fact, everyone knows something others do not- and if you ask my opinion on it, this variety is what constitutes the beauty of Gods and mortals alike. Look at your shadow manipulation, for example- I have no idea how that thing even works, and I'm a God! Well, sort of." "And I could penalty learn it with a couple years of practice" he thought, but that was not the correct time to mention it.
Then, intrinsically, he made his pen into the blue bird again, which flapped twice out of his pocket, and caught it out of the air. "And besides, if I didn't think you were smart and capable enough " he continued, while rubbing the birds head with his finger- and it did indeed chirp happily- "I wouldn't consider you for the task. " He then directed his gaze from the bird to Roxy happily. "So, what do you think? Shall we put our minds to work while we wait ? "

Nerva made it through the hall and up to the gym door and went through, he saw that the only others to have got there were Roxy and a student he hadn't seen before. He shrugged and found a chair and sat down, leaned back and waited for the class to start.

Roxy tilted her head. She couldn't image how she could help him. She had knowledge or skill that he could use. She wasn't even sure what he had in mind. Was he going to try to fix the bird here in the gym? How could he do that? Was that even something he was allowed to do? Why would he work on it "I don't know how I can help you. What could I possibly do?

@jorthon"Hey," Daniel greeted. "Yeah, you know, you have to do what you have to do to get by." Daniel said ducking under an elbow that jutted out from the crowed. "The next class? Probably gonna continue powerless fighting. We didn't get through nearly half of us. But I have no clue."

"Well, nothing for now most likely, seeing that the others also start coming" John said, looking at a boy his age that entered the room and sat on a chair without saying a thing. "but I do feel you will be very useful to giving this bird some control. Besides, I do have to make some slight modifications to the wings, but that would take few time. Just knowing that you are with me on this one is good enough for me."
He smiled at Roxy. Also, I wonder if you could give me some information on our inmates-this boy here, for example. I would go introduce myself, but chances are he is also going to spawn something I won't like too much."

"If you say so. You'll figure it out. You know what they say; fighting is for dummies." Finishing up his own food, the red-haired boy let out another small huff at how late it already was and stood up as well. Lunch ended way too soon in his opinion, but what could he do? They had to get some class time in. "I'm going, you just need to hurry. I think we're back in the gym again." Slinging his bag back over his shoulder, he started out to the hallway once again.

Harry laughed at Daniel's comment. He was right you do what needs to be done to live life your way. He shrugged about the class he was unsure honestly. He thought Hephaestus had said something about finishing tomorrow but he wasn't sure anymore. He looked ahead and said "I can see the gym coming up on our right. I guess we will find out about the class soon enough. I hope it is something new to kinda keep it interesting."

Nike looked over the kids as they arrived. Most of them were in good shape. Not that that was surprising considering their blood lines. But it never hurt to watch just in case there was something he needed to be aware of. "Good afternoon. Welcome to gym. Here we will focus on your physical health as well as you sportsman ship. You are welcome to request games and activities that you enjoy."
