Also remember goy, not all the former night lords are as apprehensive or reluctant to follow Arabar, some are quiet pious, *points at quel and Crixus*

@agentmanatee ...any other suggestions?

Hmm... how about...
  • Whispered Darkness
  • Children of the Night
  • Haunter's Whispers
  • Midnight's Children
  • Midnight Whispers
  • Haunter's Knights
  • Darkness Reborn
  • Emperor's Eighth
  • Midnight's Toll
  • Moonlit Blades
  • Hateful Eighth
  • Black Hands
  • Black Curse
  • Silent Hunt
Or Crixus's Band of Ultimate Badassery!

@agentmanatee ...some are quiet pious, *points at quel and Crixus*

And some are only here because someone promised them the opportunity to rape every woman in an entire galactic sector.

Black Hands gets 3/4 of my vote while the other 1/4 goes to Children of the Night.

I prefer Children of the Night, but the term Children and it's length makes Black hands seem more fitting a name to me.

Alternatively if we end up with only five characters, we could drop the 's' from 'Black Hands' if that gets more votes.

If I may voice a concern.

Often disappearing for months at a time, Crixus inevitably returns accompanied by groups of pregnant women, their minds and bodies broken, and new-born babies ready for recruitment into the Legion.

If the seed is Crixus' own -- if his mutations have somehow overcome the complete chemical castrations of his genetic enhancement, then these children cannot be inducted into the Legion. They are impure and tainted. Blood auspexes will say that they are doomed to die if implanted with gene-seed.

I never said the children were his, just that the women were pregnant and that he had new-born babies with him. Exactly what Crixus has been upto with the poor husks that used to be human has never been determined, or investigated, and while a few of the offspring prove to be inviable as anything other than food for the warpspawn, as would be expected for any group, most past the augury scans successfully.

The demagogue of a sex cult, then. Or perhaps something even more degenerate.

Crixus the Perverse. The name rings well although it is hollow of respect, don't you think?

I like it.in fact, I think I'll take it! As a Raptor other Night Lords already look down on him, so a little irreverence fits perfectly. :)

@agentmanatee You know you want it to be 'Crixus's Band of Ultimate Badassery!' Make the wise choice, and vote for Crixus. >D

@agentmanatee

'Black Hands' sounds good to me.

@SimplyJohn

Behind his back, the others will not utter his name, saying "The Perverse One" instead of his proper appellation. Yeah, it sounds good!

Actually, behind his back the rest of the Legion tend to refer to him as 'C@*tf&%#$r', but when they're trying to be polite then they say 'The Perverse One'. :)

Honestly it's a fine title, befitting of such a devout follower of Slaanesh. There is great honor in service to the gods

Also, with a popular vote of 2 to 1 I declare our warband The Black Hands

Our symbol is an open palmed black hand, and in the center of the palm is the eye of Horus.

Our colors are a dark purple, the color of the gods, on our chests and leg armor. However our arms and shoulders remain the midnight blue of the night lords. In order for the black hand symbol to show up on or shoulders it is backed by flames the helmet also remains blue

We will begin with your armor still in night lords regalia. Only Arabar has repainted his armor, none of you have yet seen it

I'm not too comfortable without another unbelieving Night Lord to accompany Sorthraal.

Ha, of course. Just know @Sillygoy you may stand alone. Though I feel there will most like be at least one other, remember you are all a part of Arabar's inner circle. While their are plenty of hold outs in the general flock tis rare for Arabar to find one for whom the whispers are so intense and yet remains unfaithful.

Additionally, I think it might be best to wait for another as well, less Sorthraal get lonely with his unbelief.

Maybe Quel can build Sorthraal a friend, that way when Sorthraal gets preachy, he can just power down.
