VRMMO (Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online) was first created in Japan. Almost immediately after its creation, it became one of the most popular gaming genres in the world. Who wouldn't love it? People of all ages have read fantasy novels, watched movies, and almost every single one of those people secretly wished they could live an adventure like that. Make their own choices, fight in a battle of good evil to decide the fate of the world. With the birth of VRMMO, this dream became a reality, and many people began to enjoy their fantasies and live their dreams. However, the VRMMO genre was practically monopolized by Japan, and they alone controlled pretty much all of any VRMMO that was created because Japan kept the secrets of its Full Dive Technology which allowed people to experience VRMMO games.

However, one fateful day in New York, a company by the name of "Viron Industries" managed to make their own patent of the Full Dive Technology, along with their own VRMMO titled, "Infinite Story" The basis of this VRMMO was to give the players 100% control and customization of their avatars, while letting them experience a fantastical magical life in the virtual world of Infinite Story. Just like what happened in Japan when VRMMO was first created, Infinite Story quickly became the #1 topic in almost every single media source and dominated the gaming market in America. Everyone wanted to play Infinite Story, and with the release of this game, Japan finally had a competitor in the VRMMO industry.

Infinite Story Features

Infinite Story Features:

Open Stat System: Every character chooses how they level up their stats

Strength: Raw physical power (Affects physical damage and other strength required feats)
Endurance: Ability to withstand punishment (Increases Base HP and resistances)
Speed: Agility, Reflexes (Affects run speed, evasion, attack speed)
Skill: Profiency with skill based feats (Negotiating, Dance, Critical Chance, Sneaking, ect....)
Intelligence: Raw magical power (Affects magical damage and other feats requiring intelligence)
Wisdom: Peace of mind and Collected (Increases Base MP and resistance to magic)

No Class System (I.E: No thiefs, archers, knights, ect.)

No equipment restrictions

Open Skill System (There are no set skills, characters must make their own through use of equipment and words)

Open Magic System (There are no set spells, character must make their own thorugh words)

Open Enchant System (You can enchant equipment through the inlaying of words)

Power Words (Through doing quests and dungeons, players can receive words which allow the use of skills or magic)

Real world physics (Your abilities in game are based on your stats, someone with more strength will be able to lift more weight. Endurance affects how long you can fight, run, swim, ect. The ability to solve puzzles and identify items is based off intelligence, the ability to find monster weakness is based of Wisdom stat, and so on, and so forth.)

Game Systems

Words

Words:

All characters choose 5 words to start with at level 1. After that, every level, the character is allowed to choose another word of his/her choice. So a level 5 character will have 9 words. Each word is the part of a spell. Single words like fire, grow, speed, ect.. can be used but because they are 1 word they are generally very weak. The more words a spell (or skill uses) the stronger the spell is. If you wanted to make a fireball spell, all you would need are the words "Fire" and "Ball". If you wanted to make the fire ball explode, then simply put, "Fire" "Ball" "Explode" Now say you wanted to make a fire ball spell explode and do something. While it is possible, it would require more words. "Fire" "Ball" "Explode" "steal" "Health" A spell like that would steal hp from anyone hit by the fireball spell. The same style of spell casting also affects skills in the same way. If you wanted to do a jump slash use the word "Jump" and attack upon landing, if you wanted to add an element to your attack, just add (element) word to the "Jump" command.

There are however, rules to the Word System:
Spells cannot have opposite elements at any time.
Using words requires time

Time Table

1-3 words = 1 turn
4-8 words = 2 turns
8+ words = 3 turns

Using Words Requires Mana
1 word uses 10 MP

Enchanting

Players can enchant their equipment by permanently sacrificing words to give that word's power to the equipment. As such, the more words added, the stronger the equipment becomes.

I want to make my sword fire enchanted, all I need to do is inlay the word fire to my sword, and viola, I know have a fire sword.

Players can inlay words into their equipment through use of Blacksmith NPC.

Sub-classes

Players can also have sub-classes. I.E: Chef, Merchant, Scribe, ect. Through constant use of the sub-class, players can become more skilled in abilities granted by that sub-class. The higher your skill stat is, the faster you can progress through the sub-class levels.
Sub Classes are maxed out at Lvl 100
As for what sub-classes are available, and what skills are gained through that Sub-class, I simply ask that you PM what you want your sub-class to be and what skill or skills you hope to unlock from it.

Personality:
Matt is a prick. Well, most people call him a prick, anyway, but what you personally think of him varies person to person. Matt is extremely focused on video games, and is the type of player to steal loot it you're not quick enough to get to it first. he pushes real life people away in favor of games, and has gotten very good at them. He wasn't part of the beta of Infinite Story, but has researched every scrap of information released about it, and even slipped a tester some money to break their non-disclosure agreement and give him inside information. He's an extremely intelligent boy, but his brains distance him from people. he tends to talk very concisely with large words that may be formidable to those not armed with a dictionary. He doesn't like making friends, but he will align himself with those who he feels can get him farther in his games. He's not an evil person, but he can come off that way, as he operates primarily for his own goals and no one else's. But, he does understand the importance of the greater good, and will work towards such a thing if the need arises.
Bio:
Matt was born into a tiny town, so small and insignificant it might as well have been a pimple orf the ass of the United States of America. Nothing ever went on in the town, and it was the definition of mundane. Matt, from a young age, was always bored by it. he couldn't stand the mind numbing, incredibly easy lessons, or that nothing every happened in the local news. Around age ten, he started looking for some form of escapisim, something to tear him away from this boring reality. He tried books, they were nice, but they really didn't do it for him. TV came close, but he didn't feel like he was... Interacting with it. That's when he discovered video games. They gave him a way to vent his frustrations and be something greater than he was, even for a breif moment- and that's exactly what he was looking for. He withdrew from what little social life he had, preffering to stay indoors to be with his games. As soon as the VR Gear was released, he bought it and eagerly waited for the release of Infinite Story. He pre-ordered and picked it up day one, going home to immediately plug it in and play. On the first day he binged for 48 hours, and has been playing as often as possible ever since.
Other: His goal is to be the best player in the world, and he hopes to make his living the video games industry.

Main Stats: He distributes his stat points 40% Intelligence, 30% Speed, and 30% Skill. However, every 5th level he'll use the stat points gained that level to bring the other stats he's neglected up.
Known Words: Steal, Mana, Redirect, Minion, Water, Air, Electric, Arrow, Blast, Immolate, Mist, Debuff
Common Spells:
Steal Mana- Steals 25 Mana from the target, making a net gain of 5 Mana since its costs 20 to cast.
Immolate- A spell to set things on fire.
Mist- Creates bad condition for enemy sight, allow him and his allies to sneak and dodge more easily.
Immolate Mist- Creates a mist that is literally on fire for the enemy to deal with.
Immolate Arrow- Gives him a magical(not physical) burning arrow to shoot.
(Element) Arrow- Gives him a magical arrow of whatever element.
(Element) Minion- Summons a minion of whatever element. He can also make one of his most powerful Minions using 'Mana Minion', as it is a construct literally made from Mana, but that minion drains 5 mana per turn.
Debuff- He can debuff an opponents stats. Since it's not directed at any one stat with a word it deacreases all stats, but not by very much at all. He can use 'Mana Debuff' however, which will make the opponent lose a significant portion of their Mana.
Weapons:
-The Leviathan Bow: A rare bow drop taken from a level fifteen boss monster found in a far away dungeon. it can be used by a character of every level, and O says he went there and somehow managed to kill the boss and took it. It's a very powerful boy, doing damage comparable to a level fifteen weapon, and it has an enchantment that allows him to fire magical arrows. In addition, it can be enchanted further, and scales off his intelligence stat for damage.
-The Jester Scepter: A rare drop, a magical staff. It boosts his damage significantly, scaling off his intelligence stat. Additionally, it applies a 1.3 times modifier to his Intelligence and Wisdom stats.

Armor:
Head- The Windmaster- No stat bonus, a cosmetic item that make it appera as though his clothing and hair always has wind billowing around it.
Torso- Serpents Robe- A robe from cultists who worship a Snake god. Provides a dramatic increase to his speed stat, as well as small buffs to his endurance, intelligence, and wisdom.
Arm(R)- Sphinx Undersuit- Covering his entire body underneath his Serpents Robe, the Sphinx under suit is an extremely rare drop that levels with him. It covers both of his arms and legs, and provides a large buff to his endurance. Additionally the Sphinx skin the suit is made from conducts magic extremely well, increasing his magical damage.
Arm(L)- Sphinx Undersuit
Glove(R)- The Glove of Jotun- One of two rare glove drops from a pair of twin Frost Giants. The Glove of Jotun increases magical damage significantly. When worn alongside it's brother glove, The Glove of Magnus, it also gives a 1.2x bonus to Speed.
Glove(L)- The Glove Of Magnus- One of two rare glove drops from a pair of twin Frost Giants. The Glove of Magnus increases speed greatly. When worn with its brother glove, The Glove of Jotun, increases magical damage by 1.2x.
Leg(R)- Sphinx Undersuit
Leg(L)- Sphinx Undersuit
Footwear(R)- Run Like Winds!- A custom pair of boots given to him by a former friend. They increase speed.
Footwear(L)- Run Like Winds!
Necklace- Aphrodite's Charm- The charm decrease the range at which enemies are aggro'd by him.
Ring(s)- Lil' Aegis- A custom ring, bought for a handsome price from a crafter, increases his endurance to a small degree.

I guess he's got super rare stuff because the term 'rare' can be interpreted many different ways. For example, in Skyrim, Unique weapons are considered 'rare', but you can find some of them from the first few levels.

Personality: She is a very outgoing adventurous girl, when not playing video games she is often found outside in a high spot. Usually up a tree or on a roof, which are her favorite spots to read or catch some z's. She loves talking to others and can easily make friends with almost anyone. Usually traveling between the different groups.

Bio: Harley grew up in a military household. Always moving around she was never really given a chance to make and keep friends until she entered high school when her father retired. Having lived in so many different places gave her the chance to learn a lot of new things, it is also what allowed her to become so outgoing and social. She was never a party animal though, always maintaining an A average in school, she followed the rules. Easily earning herself a chance to graduate early though she chose not to act on it. She never wanted to be seen as the smart, nerd girl so she chose to stay in her proper grade. Now a Senior in High School she is working toward multiple scholarships to help fund her college.

Other: She is multilingual though that isn't something she likes to flaunt around. She is fluent in German and Spanish, and can speak basic French.
