Jasmine - The 16 year old daughter of a local vegetable farmer. She's fairly short, and usually pretty shy, and always being dragged along by her brother Gerard and his best friend Thomas. Lately, she's been feeling a fair bit rebellious because her mother keeps trying to find her a husband.

Gerard - Jasmine's 17 year old brother. He's tall, in shape, and loves getting into trouble. He can get very protective of his little sister, but that is a very rare occurrence.

Thomas - Gerard's best friend and the son of a fruit tree farmer. He's been close friends with the two siblings since they were wee tots. He's been secretly harboring a crush on Jasmine, but has never managed to express this to her.

There usually so outlandish and over exhaggerated that people take what he says with a grain of salt.
