The shield with blades on it erputed from the ground under a foot in order to destabilize the Death Scythe. While off balance, she caught a glimpse of the sandrock, one arm with a tube trailing into the ground, the other with the smg which aiming to pepper Verdi's gunpla as it opened up on her.

This was bad as she was forced to take the shots her scythes was no good here it seems. So this was bad decided to sheath one of the scythes she gripped the remaining on with her one good arm. Since the other was rendered useless by the constant barrage that hit the joints of the other arm. This was not going well she tightened her grip as charged forward if she was going down it will be fighting not the other way around.

Reaching back with its empty hand, it grabbed one of the beam sabers off of its back and deployed it. With the loud chomping still coming over the comms, they parried the scythe upwards and attempted to hold it there. Using the smg, they tried to shove the barrel up into the joint of the good arm and fire.

Things was not going as planned twisting to the side to avoid getting hit sadly it was not meant to be since before she could twist out of the way the arm was already gone it was a sacrifice she could not afford to make. This match was as good as over sadly both arms shot beyond all recognition and was useless at this point. With a final push forward she kicked the sandrock squarely in the chest. This was the best she could do if she was going to lose she would would do it fighting.

Skidding backwards, the Sandrock took the kick, minimal damage to the heavily armored machine. Twisting left, the machin quickly snapped and spun rightwards. It launched its shield forwards, impaling the enemy gunpla through the chest with it, disabling the gunpla and ending the fight rather suddenly.

It was a day since the battle and the second day was once again devoted for people to build their customs for a upcoming tournament. Verdi however was not worried after that battle she knew she needed to change pure close and stealth was no long cutting it and as such she was doing something different. Working from the bottom up she first salvaged the remains for her thanatos and created a new one Gundam Hades a deathscythe hell modeled after the glory of losers. With the new Hades standing proud she turned to her custom she would rise above this failure and with it she will reign the like the third of the triumvirate. Caesar and the infamous roman artillery that was her idea and like the Roman empire she will reign surpemw she would not let one loss faze her. Rome after all was not built in a day so neither shall this gunpla it was a slow process fine tuning everything from the weapons to swivel joints so they can move on its own everything will flawless after all she would accept nothing less.

Yuki spent the day watching a few battles and messing around with her God/Destiny custom. One battle she found amusing was this fight between what looked to be an Eypon/Sazabi/Legilis custom, and a red and yellow ground combat GM with a cape, and the GM actually won, with a single punch to it's opponents torso.

Yuki couldn't help but giggle at the absurdity of the fight. Apart from that most the fights where pretty decent, but unremarkable.

Her work on her custom was, less amusing. She was having some issue getting parts to do what she wanted, some thing, like the arms and wings came together nicely, but the legs weren't, which was causing her some stress. So she switched to the Fenix, and started to put that together.

IT was done it took awhile and despite everything she managed to get it complete. She worked all day and night on it but it was done so with a yawn she rested her head down on the table and fell asleep. Unaware of anything that may or may not happen around her. All through the night she worked and painstakingly set up to create the "pumpkin king" the crossbone zero custom was finally done.

Chisame sat down in the room she claimed as her own staring at the two models that stood on her desk. She always favored straight builds so even with the custom build she went and made it close to a stragiht build as possible while technically being a custom a cop out probably but she didn't care. Her Murakumo astray was finally finished a kitbash between three different astrays the basic red and blue frame with the red frame revise for good measure. It was something that she was not prepared for but in the end it was done and that was all that mattered.

Kyo got up from the table and stopped suddenly. They felt something off about themselves and reached into their pocket. "how the.. what the... how?" they asked, seeing an orange and black gunpla in their pocket. Staring at it, the memories came back, middle of the night they went out and got a series of flashbacks from the previous night.

Kyo got up from his desk, staring at several sharpies and the contents leftover from the three part build. "Need... body..." they said and got up, walking away from their desk and into verdi's room. They found her asleep on the table. "scooter, taking i am." they said, grabbing the keys. They had made their way down to a local 24/7 gunpla store and picked up a Gundam GP01 and several sharpies with some pocket change. They drove the scooter back and locked it up, before heading up to the room and putting the keys back on Verdi's desk. "Arigato..." they said and walked back to their own room, putting the lock on their door and beginning to work in a fever on inspiration.

They looked around themselves. "She must never know..." Kyo said quietly.

It was finally back to that one specific class where once more the professor entered though he really didn't stay long since he put something on the board before the headmaster came in wearing a red suit with his black sunglasses glinting under the light. "Students.... NO that is not what you are GUNPLA FIGHTERS!!! I present to you something big something bigger than that today we will be participating with a few other schools. A tournament not just any tournament a special "world championship tournament" That you as fighters will be participating in this tournament will pit five team members against individual scenarios from computer simulations to actual fighting it will be a one v one but a team will consist of five members. Your job is to with your team go forth without falter conquer the tournament and win not only a year supply of gunpla but for a limited time a chance to go against a world championship level fighter from across the globe of your choice. With that said people please walk down and draw lots the lots will match you to your team mates and let the games begin!" Verdi looked up as the headmaster walked out the classroom so this is what the customs was needed for a tournament but also a chance for the the school itself to show off huh. With a smile on her face she looked around and personally wondered just whom she will be paired with.

Chuck rolled his eyes at the "teacher" calling them "GUNPLA FIGHTERS" and hoped he wouldn't call himself something ridiculous like Gunpla Meister next. The tournament sounded nice but kind of overblown, it was simply sending a team of reps from the school and each would have to do individual competitions. This was extremely common and he wasn't sure why a big deal was made out of it, beyond Gunpla Battle having 3v3 rules as well. Whatever the case, the prize sounded good to him, though since the Academy had more or less provided him with more tools and parts than he knew what to do with already the Gunpla would probably sit pristine in their boxes should he win them.

When he got up to draw a lot, a few murmurs went around the class. No one recognized him or had seen him before. It made sense considering he'd started late because of a bad cold and hadn't spent much of his free time outside his dorm, where he kept himself busy working on what he gingerly referred to as "It", his dream project in Gunpla. Only a handful of students from separate classes had had the misfortune of challenging Chuck over perceived slights the few times he shuffled out to get more parts, paint, food or medicine and things had ended quickly and badly for them, as the nonplussed texan teen was none too keen to spend more time outside than necessary.

Chuck was, in short, pretty much completely unknown across the Academy at large.

Haruna sighed as she went up and picked a lot it was a simple thing go up grab a lot and sit down. Was the hype really needed? Well either it didn't affect beyond the headmaster's over exuberance on the subject of gunpla she assumed that nothing else really needed to be said. A tournament though was something interesting and the prize more so not so much the gunpla offered but the chance to do a one on one match against a world champion level fighter was. If anything it proved some looking into to see just how far each one stood in terms of world champion level fighting.

Yuki walked up, got her lot, and sat back down.

The prizes where pretty decent, she didn't have any thing in mind for the Gunpla, but the 1V1 verse a world level fighter, she drew a blank on who those where past the Miejin, but for now she decided to just not worry about the prizes unless she won them. She looked at her 'Burning Destiny', and sighed. It was ready, it had every thing in it that she wanted to put in it, it just didn't look how she wanted.

Chisame could honestly care less on the prizes it mattered little to her in the long run. She preferred straight builds allowing for the true skill of the user to shine rather than relying on fancy gimmicks. So in all honesty the idea of a years worth of gunpla was pointless in that matter second in terms of facing a world champion level fighter it was also kind of pointless there was no one she would love to fight and the one she would want to quit gunpla fighting when he became head of Yajima labs. So with these thoughts running through her head she stepped forward grabbed her lot and sat done as she looked at her astray sitting in front of her. It was her only custom and had no special gimmicks beyond different weapons that was taken from a astray red frame.

Heavy bags still under thier eyes kyo shuffled forwards. Years worth of gunpla? cool. Getting to fight anyone they wanted who was a world champion level? awesome! Sleep? something that was very far and distant to kyo. They still hadn't named their orange gunpla anything yet. Getting their lot number, they went back to their seat, still hitting themselves with what to call the gunpla they held.

"Very well people since all of you have drawn lots lets move to the arena for today's battles." Verdi heard the teacher speak up as she got up and followed the mass of students despite everything she wondered if perhaps she is doing something wrong with everything said and done she still has yet to figure out a few things. One her main suit was still a deathscythe and close range yet she did solve the problem of its weakness to ranged weapons so she supposed that was good. Though she did finish her secret project a custom AGE 2 dark hound which was probably her only truly complete gunpla at the moment. Those thoughts though was quickly placed aside as they started to explain the tournament rules it would be a tropheaum style battle for the first match. Meaning it would be a standard free for all battle where not only are individual combatants are your enemy but also computer controlled suits as well. Meaning that right now everyone was her enemy and she could not be sure which would attack her or not.

Yuki, in her usualy calm, quiet fashion, walked over to the battle system, set her GP base, her Gunpla, and just waited from there.

The idea idea of a free for all didn't bother her. She didn't see any reason to be bothered by it just cause she knew a couple of the fighters better then the rest, though admittedly, not much better. Ether way, fighting human and AI opponents, struck her as an odd choice, but since this was probably to thin the ranks, it was fine by her, she'd beaten the AI before, this time would be no different.

Simulator ace Iggy Burton entered the terminal room, a number of questions rolling through his head. Why had they drawn lots if the competition was simply a battle royale? Why were the staff calling it a "tropheaum", despite it clearly being a battle royale? Were all gunpla tournaments secretly this haphazard and poorly-organized? He understood these people were probably idiots, seeing as they preferred sluggish, vulnerable mechs to the sleek power of a well-designed fighter craft, but surely even they recognized that this was a terrible idea, didn't they?

GUNPLA BATTLE, COMBAT MODE, START UP.
MODEL DAMAGE LEVEL, SET TO C.
PLEASE SET YOUR GP BASE.

Iggy followed the terminal's instructions.

BEGINNING PLAVSKY PARTICLE DISPERSAL.
FIELD 01-A: A BAOA QU.
PLEASE SET YOUR GUNPLA.

Iggy placed the Lord British onto the base. The fighter's ability to take on large numbers of targets outstripped the Vic Viper; with some luck, it'd be able to make it out of this battle unscathed. He took hold of the controls.

"Lord British Aerospace Fighter, preparing to sortie. Let's get a look at what these boys can do."

Iggy launched, and was met with a vision of pure chaos. About sixty percent of the suits looked like the standards- varying combinations of AGE, Astray, Strike, Crossbone, Destiny, Wing Zero, 00, Qan[T], Unicorn, Turn A, Turn X, and similar. Obviously, originality had gone out the window in favor of high-power vanilla MS. He streaked through the battlefield, moving along the outskirts of the arena to get a better idea of what was going on. Two things struck him in particular.

One, the battlefield was not only swarming with players, but also a horde of Mocks representing the Federation and Zeon forces, which fired upon each other as well as nearby players. A number of overconfident units had already fallen, their active defenses having been penetrated by Zaku bazookas or GM scatter guns.

Two, there appeared to be a virtual sea of remote weapons firing on one another around A Baoa Qu, the gravitational pull of the massive fortress drawing in the half-functioning debris of discarded weapons and rapidly forming a thick ring of orbiting junk, which some participants were currently using as cover. Judging from the lack of remote weapons in the area directly adjacent to the funnel ring, it was safe to assume that it was producing some form of psycommu interference.

Reconnaissance finished, Iggy dove into the fray.

Kyo walked up to the massive battlefield and set their gunpla down on the launcher. Then they set their base and stared up at the space battlebefore themselves. "too much...." the kid said before grabbing the controls half heartedly. Kyo was serious, but he didn't feel like putting in effort.

"Tooo much...." Kyo said and looked down at the g base and stared before typing in the name of the Gunpla. "XS Faith, launching." the person half heartedly said. Kyo launched out and was directly confronted with another student. They were in a unicorn, who was obviously flanked by someone who was their buddy, who was in one of the new Barbatos kits.

"Oh, cute." Kyo said, watching as the barbatos threw the mace at their XS. "Trying to recreate the show... i don't blame em." Kyo said, using the new wings to maneuver upwards, reaching out the shield hand before grabbing the end of it. they spun around and threw it right back, skewering the barbatos and taking it out.

the unicorn took exception to that, now getting into a dog fight with kyo, trading shots while clashing with their shields.
