Jack walked to his room after eating a slice are two of pizza,he would be in the game for a while,he went in,hooked up the nerve gear,laid flat on the bed and issued the voice command"link start"

Jack was in the world of sword art online,with a basic spear on his back(he doesn't have a naginata yet)"let's see what should I do?"jack open his inventory and saw:
Steel spear
Leather armor
X5 health crystals
"Ok I think I can work with this"jack ran straight to the first fields he seen and began to fight the boars"come on road hog,bring it"the boar charged straight at jack and jack deflected it by bashing it with his spear,the boar flipped over as jack went over to finish it off with a spear skill,his spear began to shine with an ominous blue glow as he charged at the boar like a bullet,the boar was skewered and killed"well that was fun"jack saw that the boar dropped something:boar tusk"don't know what I can use this for but I'll hold on to it"

Jason gets home, feeling quite beat. After he cooked up some dinner, Jason went to his room. He saw his nerve gear and decided to unwind a bit. He lay on his single bed and said "link start".

Jason only got SAO last week and has not had the time to play til now. He spawns with a pole on his back. First thing that Jason does is look at the map. "Hmmm" said Jason rubbing his chin "I am going to try out the combat for now." Jason walks to the beginner fields and there is already a player killing a boar.

Jack spins his spear around like second nature and practically shreds a second boar like a log in a saw mill,after the slaughter jack sheathes his spear and looks over to see another person of in the distance,jack waves and informs him"hey,there are still some boars left to pick off if you want"

Jason sees the other wave and speak to him. Jason nods to what the player said. He takes out his pole and proceeds to whack-a-boar. The first boar charges at Jason but Jason moves left and hits the boar on the side of its head. This did not kill the boar. It is just dazed. Jason went in for the kill. He glows blue while somersaulting and on the last turn, he hits the boar with his pole with his hands at one end. the boar dissipated and Jason is panting lightly.

Jack watched as the other player flipped through the air and skewered the board"that was cool"

Jason goes over to the other player. He says " Hi. This is amateur lane, huh. Hey, food for thought. Wanna party?"

Jack was suspried that someone would party with a stranger they just met on a boar slaying trip"sure why not,I got nothing better to do"jack flipped his spear up side down and stuck it in the dirt as he awaited a request"nice meeting you,I'm Jack"

Jason smiled, opened his menu and sent a party and friend request. " Nice to meet you, Jack. The name is Jason" said Jason.

Jack saw a party and a friend request appear before him

Jason has invited you to join a party

(Yes) No

Jack smiled back at his new friend"so Jason,what should we do?"

Jason saw Jake's health bar appear in the corner of his HUD. "I heard there is no traditional levelling system. It is more of a a skill system. I think that learning synergy skills is a good idea if possible."

Jack agreed with what Jason said,learning more skills would help"there is a leveling system but not like usual,In Sao,killing monsters isn't the only way to earn Xp,through trial and error is the best way to level up,taking damage and and learning from your mistakes is the way the leveling system works,it's kinda of like a live and learn trial and error sort of thing"jack picked up his spear and put it away"let's get going jay"

Jason nodded in agreement. Jason looked around at the boars. He started to smile like a Cheshire cat and said " Do you want to farm for boar meat and cook it up? I want to see if there is a cooking skill? If there is cooking skill then there must be be other crafting skills too."

Jack realised that Jason must have been new Sao"I assume your new to the game,lemme explain,yes there is a cooking skill but if it's not high enough than depending in what your cooking,it just gets burnt,and as for other crafting skills,there is black smithing,beast training and appraisal,black smithing is only for the players that choose to run a blacksmith shop,and over time they will get better at it,beast training is for Beast tamers,they can train certain animals and beasts to become allies and friends,and appraisal is the skill used by merchants to identify who made a weapon and it's stats,I'm aiming to be a blacksmith so I can make the best weapon I can but that's gonna take a while"Jack opened his inventory and showed Jason his weapon:steel spear lvl 4
"Right now I have this but one day I'll have something like a scythe maybe"

Jack was done rambling at this point"sure lets farm some boar meat and have a two-man feast"jack opened his inventory and saw that he had 3x boar meat"I have 3 pieces of boar meat and a level 3 cooking skill,that's just high enough to cook this stuff"jack took out his spear and began ripping boars apart,in all he took down 4 boar and obtained 7 more pieces"I think this ought to be enough"jack noticed that the sun was going down"it's getting dark,which would mean two things,:monsters will become stronger and give more xp as well as become half as likely to appear,we should be fine tonight,wanna set up a fire and get some boar meat up in our faces?"

Jason faceplams himself for being stupid. Jason said " Yes, I am new. Thanks for helping me." Jason thinks about the mentioned skills. Beast taming is the one that will suit him the most. "I think I would like to become a beast tamer. Can you help me? I can help you get ore and other materials for your blacksmithing skill. Besides, I might need your blacksmithing services someday."

Jack stabbed the ground with his spear for a second time"well I suppose I could try to help you,one of the boars dropped a dagger,I think beast tamers have a high damage output with daggers but I'm not 100%sure but I'll try and help,and I appreciate your offer to find me ore"jack opened the his inventory and replaced his spear with the dagger:steel dagger"here" jack opens the trade and offers Jason the dagger

Jason accepts the trade and equips the dagger. He gives it a few swings. Jason says "It is good but it does not right for me. I like pole arms for their speed and tricky but rewarding moveset. I do not mind throw knives thou." Jason equips his pole. " Thanks for the help."

Jack is always happy to help someone"no problem,so how about we get a fire goin and I roast some boar meat? I have a cooking skill of 3,just high enough to roast boar meat"jack says this as he looks towards the sky,minutes away from night"the games time was set to be exactly the same as real world time,so it's rather late in the real world just as it is in here,it also means monsters will be half as common and twice as strong,giving off more xp,but it's fine though,we could practically sleep out here if we wanted to"jack finds a tree and uses his spear to cut off some of the low branches,he than goes back over to where Jason is and sets them on top of each other and finds a couple of rocks and after a few tedious moments a roaring fire is lit"let's get to roasting"jack opens his inventory and takes out 2x boar meat and lays a couple more sticks above the fire to in a position that the meat could lay on"this way we won't have to stay here and worry about drying the meat"the meat is layed on the sticks,the heat flows up and warms the underside of the meat,jack sits down on the soft grass and says"so Jason where do you think we should go?we could go to a dungeon nearby or maybe sell some boar tusks for gold and get some ores and throw knives"

Jason watched Jack do his thing. When Jake ask him what is the plan, Jason replied "I would like to go to town and stock up on stuff before we tackle a dungeon. Besides, I want to look around for recipes or eggs or something else odd. Who knows what is at the stores." As Jack cooks the meat and the smells drift to Jason, Jason thinks to himself and sighs. " Sorry for being a newbie."

After a moment jack flipped the food over so the other side would cook"hey man,we were all newbs at once,and I fact if haven't even been playing Sao for 4 days,this is my third day playing I dived in to Sao each day for a while and all I've been doing is tackling boars and selling the tusks which accumulate to a good price,5 tusks can get you 75 gold,it's actually a good way to make some gold"jack opened his inventory and showed Jason the gold he has earned,he started off with no gold from playing and after a couple of days,with out spending anything he has earned a total of 975 gold"who would've thought that boar tusks can sell for so much in major amounts?"jack said in a humorous way,now smelling the boar meat"man that smells good,it's a good thing I ate pizza before jumping in other wise I would've went into the real world by now" jack said as waited patiently for the food to finish,any minute now....
