Byz'zul
Lair

Byz'zul was frozen for a moment, tightly gripping the steering wheel and trying not to think about how easy it would have been for Blueberry to utterly end him. That sort of precise teleportation....

Well. The implications gave him the shivers-could she teleport inside of something? Could she-

Let's not.

He speaks. Worked up a new string insults have you?

My fate is unfortunately bound to your own. If you descend into the shrieking depths of paranoia then I'm going along for the ride.

I'm touched by your concern. Truly.

....Silence warmblood. I demand rodents. Acquire them.

Fuck off.

Shaking his head in an attempt to clear it of the...increasingly disturbing scenes that it was start to conjure up in what could only be described as a fit of terrible paranoia combined with a horrid sort of fascination, Byz'zul pulled the keys out of their slot (super-villains, leaving keys in his car was like asking for it to be stolen) and, with a sigh, swung open the door.

He could dwell on Emobot later. He'd thought any one the broker contacted would have, at least the skill to avoid the police. He'd thought wrong evidently. Unfortunate.

Dwell on it later. Idiot. Take your own suggestions.

Why don't you go play in traffic.

The devil-kin took in his surroundings-another van, large hanger complex, control panels....Well. That was just classy. Looked like he was moving up in the world. Finally. No more topless nightclubs for him. Well. At least not as an employee.

Right then. Time to meet the neighbors. Or fellow employees. The distinction wasn't that important.

"Ah. Hello?"

Eric Belmont
Lair

Eric leaped into the truck, the doctor then starting it up and getting them out of there. Before they could get far however a blinding white light was everywhere, and now the truck was somewhere else. Eric got out of the truck, feeling the slightest bit groggy from the sudden teleportation.

They were in some form of hanger, large enough to someday fit some impressive vehicles no doubt. The only things in the hanger however were the truck that Eric came in on, and a car from which a man was stepping out. Well, no reason to be shy.

"Hey, I don't remember seeing you at the meeting?" Eric told the man. The man was rather strange, horns and fangs and whatnot, but then again the group left behind a snake women at the Casino.

Byz'zul
Lair

"Yeah. Well. Traffic. And then I had to hold my breath on the way in because....well, traffic. Air was...just about 50% cancer." Byz'zul shot the other man a quick smirk, though it wasn't clear if he was joking or making light of the environmental conditions in the city. The sorcerer shrugged extravagantly and tossed his hair, purely out of habit. "Name's....well, you can call me Lucas. Nice to meet ya."

Byz'zul took in the sight of the other man-nice white suit, bitching fedora (he thought it was a fedora at least, truth be told he was somewhat helpless when it came to hats...). "Gonna guess you're here courtesy of the broker?" Seemed like his...was patron the right term? Whatever. Seemed like the Broker was building up a little team, if he was behind this other fellow. The coordination of the teleportation implied as much at least.

Well well.

He really was moving up in the world.

DESPERATION & EPPIE JONES
(Collaboration Story Event)
The process of transferring the heart from the plastic bag to a proper organ cooler was a quick one, ensuring that the organ was a lot more protected than it had ever been while in the plastic bag. It also allowed him to properly store and stack it in the freezer without much in the way of issues, already making a mental note to contact the girl's parents to tell them that a heart was available and to organize a time and a place for the surgery.

With the grim task of logistics taken care of, Desperation stepped out of the back of his truck with the intention of going and meeting up with everyone else to discuss the fact that they would need to do something about their former team mates before his gaze fell on the woman in her earlier twenties on the floor, bleeding out through her abdomen in what appeared to be silence. Ignoring the conversation going on between the card shark and what appeared to be some sort of snake charmer, the doctor moved over to the downed woman's side immediately, kneeling down long enough to pick up/assist her in standing as he softly said "Your name is Eppie right? Or is it Maw? Well either way it doesn't matter, right now I need to know how you got that wound to your abdomen."

With a slow moving turn Eppie turned to face the Doctor, hearing the question that he generously presented. As he lifted her up and felt the blood loss quickly drain from her upper body her head started to feel light and dizzy. A necessary move that almost caused Eppie to pass out for a brief moment.

"She was a fool! Never listening to me. Always thinking she's in control," her mouth spat out uncontrollably.

"Maw... not now," Eppie muttered, regaining control with the little energy that she had as the dizzy spell began to wear off. "We were caught out... by a surprise attack. A monster... much like us."

She paused for a moment wondering how bad the internal injury was. For a creature of her type she had never really been injured in this way before besides a few lacerations and some heavy bruising, however it was somewhat expected since most of the victims of Maw's attacks had been human, or human like creatures. This was the first time she had faced a beast that was more powerful than she was and it was something she had to come to terms with.

Despite it being hidden underneath his mask, Desperation's eyebrow raised at the mention of the fact that Eppie wasn't human, identifying as a monster instead. The second, somewhat different voice that managed to escape her lips did shred a bit of light on the situation but nowhere nearly enough for him to get an in-depth answer about what was going on. Deciding that such questions were better answered after treatment, the doctor carefully started to carry/lead his patient towards the back of his van.

While he was absolutely certain that there would have been some sort of medical facility on site, Desperation wasn't familiar with it or what condition it would have been in after being abandoned for over five years (Not to mention the fact that its former owner no doubt used it for... less then sanitary means). Better to use his truck; He knew what medical equipment he had there, what drugs he had access to and he knew that it was (mostly) clean enough for surgery to take place if need be.

Sitting his patient down upright at the back of the van, Desperation hopped inside in order to grab what supplies he needed. Still, he needed to know more information to help narrow down what he needed. "Two quick questions before we get started. It's generally standard procedure before doing this sort of operation to give you a fairly solid pain killer; It'll make the operation itself easier for both of us but you'll be a bit out of it for a day or so afterwards while it passes through your system so I'll leave it up to you if you wish to have it or not."

"Pain killers will be fine." Eppie replied quietly, knowing that operational procedures can be painful at the best of times and being out for a day is better than being out for more than a week.

"The second question is largely because you're not a full human; Do you know what sort of effects using a painkiller would have on you? Would it even effect you at all?" While some might have argued on social media that asking such a question was racist, the cold science of it was that using medication designed for a human on something that wasn't human (such as an alien) was a risky procedure and shouldn't be attempted unless there really was no other choice. Eppie did seem human enough to use human medication but if she claimed otherwise he had to take it into account.

"Human?" the question caught her off guard for a moment as it was something that she hadn't thought off for a long time, "Eppie is sort of human as Eppie is just a chimera with multiple DNA. That is how Eppis is able to transform at will, when Maw allows it."

Eppie watched carefully as Desperation pulled out a fresh needle from one of his cabinets and inserted the tip into a glass vial. With a gentle motion he pulled the end out, filling up the inside with a thick substance that would eventually make it's way into her side and numb the area around the wound. While Desperation injected the anaesthetic into her side he noticed her left eye iris subtly change from it's natural colour to a golden hue. Assuming it might have been Maw taking a peek at what was going on he dismissed it as a quirky perk of the girl. Both of the Villains didn't realise that this quirk was in fact the unknown identity inside Eppie that was beginning to experience the world for the first time.

Meteoress was off like a rocket after the creepy old man of a doctor that bad news and worse days were about to go down. She wanted to spread the word of her new status as a total badass after that casino hit. She sped trough the complex hallways, searching for a roon with a big enough mirror to capture all off her in her blood stained glory. This carried her over the control room where she stopped, and then stared. Gore and mechanical scraps were strewn all over the place and she stood slack jawed. Staring at the mess. Her eyes found that of a girl that seemed about her age. She seemed so very normal, she had hardly taken any note of her before they split into groups. Forgetting her quest to make a badass selfie, she strolled over. Affixing the average teenagers "cool and badass" grin and swagger.

"You with the lair group right? Like what you did to place~~" She said, the mexican-spanish accent coming trough thicker then before.

"A bioengenired monster exploded due to someone hitting it's core. " she would say not even glancing up at Meteoress. When she did glance up the girl would get a thought.

' Maybe her name is Conscious.'

The girl would just smirk. Looking back down at the control pannel. She has gotten the goupagainst her legs off her eariler so she seemed completely untouched by the gore which was strange since she was with that group.

"..Your name is Conscious right?" Meteoress asked, a vague memory floating to the back of her head. "Don't like getting your hands dirty?" She asked, motioning to her clothes. Meteoress in contrast, was still covered in blood.

"I'd rather not ruin my outfit. They enjoyed their fight anyway. " she would reply fixing her the bow in her sliver blonde hair. S smirk loted atop her face staring at their disgusting appearances. "If you want to get cleaned up. You could head for the bathroom. I'm pretty sure the camera in there is a little staticy. If you would so kindly fix that while your in there." Conscious said starin back at the cameras.

"Just becouse I am mexican doesn't mean I will pick up yo' shit, gringo. Go do it yourself" Never underestimate the defiance of a blood soaked, high on fighting, girl. Meteoress eyed the cameras and saw Desperation and Eppy. "Doctor seems he has his hand full" She noted.

"Just asking. " A smile remained fixxed atop her face. " He should be able to handle it. "

"Yeah? She seem kinda messed up. We lost the snake woman. Scary Doctor dude seem to think we have to silence those who didn't make it back." She said with a shrug. "No honor among thieves I guess."

"I would silence anyone who would go against me. But then again talking to the person who could probably make you do what ever they.. What's your name again?" She would change the shubject rather quickly. Turning and searching the control panel once again. Evn if she had many times before.

"I am not telling." Meteoress mumbled. Suddenly creeped out. SHe had stopped herself from saying something the wrestler was not supposed to know. And it felt like it was a very important something the other girl was holding back.

What year is the belt?" She would ask. Not caring if she got a name or not. No one needed to know what she could do before it came to be more helpful. Anyway, it made them more suspicious of tHeIr own thoughts.

"Ancient aztec gold!" The smile on Meteoress face was genuine nad large enough that her face was half teeth at that point. "It has belonged to my family for generations. It's magic."

"Mhmm very intriguing. Must be worth a fortune. I assume, wrestling. Can I get your wrestling name then?" She woud say sending a message towards her. ' What's the trouble is saying that to her?' She never asked what it was made of. Just when it was created but all the same for the girl in front of her.

"METEORESS! THE LUCHADORESS!" She lifted her arms high as if she just won a match, screaming ontop of her loungues. The vibration of her voice made some of the decaying pillar to slosh off and drop onto her. She blinked, covered in gore. "I.. I need a shower." She mumbled.

"Yeah, Blue girl came up to me and gave me and offered me the job." Eric noted a few more features about the man, the pointed ears, piercing green eyes.

Holding his hand out in an offer to shake Eric said, "Name's Eric Belmont. Pleasure to be working with you Lukas." Eric saw the plague doctor preparing to do some procedure with a girl, seeing the needle Eric stammered out, "Hey Lukas, this is going to end up being our little groups base ain't it? How about we take a peek about?" The card shark wanting to get away from the medical work about to be done.

Byz'zul
Lair

Byz'zul was focusing have his attention on his newfound...partner from the sound of what he was saying, partner's word and half on giving his partner another look over.

Hm. On second glance, he was sort of cute. Had the dapper look going for him-he looked like he belonged in Vegas, Byz'zul decided.

Wait. What? Suddenly the tone had shifted, even if it had taken a few seconds for Byz'zul to register that fact. From polite introduction to...something else.

"Uh-what's got ya so nervous there Er-" Then Byz'zul followed the cardsharks gaze.

Oh.

Good old fashioned surgery huh? How about no. He didn't want to get any blood on his robes. Well. Anymore blood. "You know what." The devilkin said somewhat too quickly for someone at ease with the situation. "I think you're right. A peek about is just the thing we need right now. Who knows, maybe the previous owner-there was a previous owner right?-left the combination for his vault on the fridge door."
