@NuttsnBolts Not dumb at all. We supposedly know each other well enough to make jokes and puns, but it is just like school after 6 weeks with new people. Good, but still a bit odd.

What's the point in writing a character sheet if it's going to be half retold in the first few IC post? Know what I'm saying? :P

I want to start teh RP as soon as Friday. Otherwise i won't have time to actually take a look at it. Of course if that's not a problem i can quickly make a 8 sentence IC post from mobile and let ya guys do it. maybe a mission where Loki sends ya guys on a quest to get a very simple item. Maybe Helperbot can narrate too, until i can actually come and write. How's that sound? Cause if you agree then I will quickly makea list on who move to thread #2 (which will have entirely different quests and story), and who will stay here.

Roger that. I guess we should probably talk about our characters OOC briefly I suggest each giving a one sentence summary of their first impressions of their fellow Runners based on their CS.
Something like this.

MIRA'S IMPRESSIONS:
Loki: Thinks she's loud and a bit obnoxious, but none the less a competent leader worth following.
Alexis: A better drinking buddy than a teammate. Fun, but self centered.
John: God he's a scary bastard. Surprisingly nice in conversation, but none the less unsettling. Still a bit wary.
Kian: He's cute, but more cute like a naive brother than any romantic prospect.
Max: Another unsettling brute. He's more tolerable than John, being easier to talk to. Still a bit of a douche.

"Has no real need of equipment" Yes you do biatch. Forgot the "most of the atmosphere was blown away" part? You can't really survive an enviroment like that without at least pressurizing your body. By default any non mutated man will fall unconcious in about 5-10 mins at best. Maybe 15 for max. You NEED a mask, Max!

Well, you know, considering having most of the atmosphere gone would probably require very specialized survival equipment such as full body suits and the like, and considering none of the characters seem to list any such thing beyond a gas mask that'd only protect them against airborne polutants and toxic gasses, but not from anything that can be absorbed by the skin, I figured I could get away with Max being immunized by virtue of being a surgically enhanced, nanomachine-stabilized mutant.

MIRA: A weakling, who devotes his life to those who don't deserve care. She'll die off first, if the situation becomes thought.
JOHN: He looks a lot like someone from the Maffia. He's thogh outside, but surprisingly weak inside.
KIAN: In today's world, one can't run around with a crossbow! This gus is out of his mind! Such shame, he is such a cutie.

Yeah, wording wise it sounds like the atmosphere is dissipated, but since we need gas masks I guess it's just toxic. Either way you need at least a gas mask, unless maybe your character had respiratory implants. @6slyboy6 Your thoughts?

@Zero Hex A gas mask seals your pressure in low atmospheric conditions. The same reason you don't explode in space. And we are all affected by radiation, there is no point in carrying tons of lead on us. Look man, Just wear a sofa mask or a respirator. And put this masterpiece in teh CS section!

Kian's impressions,

Loki: "Classic Mrs Sadist, loves to inflict pain, I think. Her leadership is otherwise extremely noteworthy. I don't know how she manages everyone and make them stand in line, pretty impressive stuff. I think she's out to get me for my crossbow."

Alexis: "That hook grapple thing she uses is impressive to say the least, it makes her so nimble and... yeah. Otherwise she seems to be one that wouldn't fit into a team-scenario, but Loki manages to do it anyways. You know, thinking about it, she reminds me of a 'ninja' during the Sengoku era."

Mira: "Comeon, don't tell me anyone didn't notice that she lowers her voice, no? Anyways I've seen her medical skills first hand and it's spectacular. Seems like you really need a unique trait to get in Devil's runners or something."

John: "I don't really talk to him that much, seems like he's a bit... more unstable than the others, well atleast in fights, he gets this 'look' in his eyes. Not much else to say really, still unconsciously have my guard up when I converse with him."

Max: "You know, those people in the past. What were they called... uh, the vikings, yeah? I was reading about them the other day, and this guy, for whatever reason, is my vision on what they looked, and somewhat acted like. Generally though, he's pretty nice in contrast with his appearance, but I'll be damned if I don't get intimidated."

First off, thanks for the co-gm position. Didn't actually expect it at all. :)

But when it comes to the opening ic post, make sure it's a decent quality one and not a short blurb. It should be the post that gets everyone pumped and a paragraph or two doesn't seem to do that for the most part.

As for the impressions thing, I'll work in that and will have something up soonish.

dun posted my character with a mask. As an aside, I'd advise against propping up a second thread just because running two games at one can get tiresome and make you less excited for both. Focus on the one with whatever people you want in, and whoever didn't get in can get a message to join whenever there's room.
