[OOC] The Wonderland-Virus

It was a night like any other, the sky was clear and filled with stars. There was a crescent moon shining down on the dark Earth. And even though it was a normal night, something special was going to happen that would effect the lives of people everywhere in the town of (...)*.

Rabbit Holes opened up, and these weren't your regular rabbit holes from a silly story like Alice in Wonderland. No, these rabbit holes were portals through which souls from another wonderful realm sneaked through. They took possession of a few individuals, granting them a special power related to the one they had themselves. These spirits would take home in the persons mind and guide them to save the world that was slowly facing it's end.

Maybe a bit vague intro to post, but this is kinda what it is. You play as a regular human who gets possessed by an inhabitant of Wonderland, of course this excludes Alice, but she will become important later in the story. Although I have certain things planned nothing is set in stone as I like to work on this story together! May sounds lazy as a GM, but I don't want to control things too much, so the OOC is really to brainstorm ideas for the future of the rp.

I haven't decided where to let it take place, normally I would go for a Japanese setting, but an AiW rp calls more for a British setting.

I have two lists of characters I'd like to see represented as spirits. The first list are priority characters, but if people want to take on second characters or if more people unexpectedly join they can also claim those. Gender of the character may be decided by you and doesn't have to follow the Alice in Wonderland canon.

The ones I really wanted in are claimed, except for the Caterpillar. For the list of remaining spirits pls look at the Characters section.

Bio:
Wesley Abbott comes from a normal, middle class family. He lives with his father and his younger brother, Mason, after his mother passed away when he was ten. His father is usually too busy at work to take care of the boys, so Wesley acts like the father figure in the household. Because of this, Wesley has not joined any clubs or sport teams and seems like a completely average student who just seems to go to school and leave as soon as it ends.

He feels like there is never enough time to do any of the things he actually wants to do. But it's okay because his little brother means the world to him. He knows that his father is only working to provide enough for them, but he misses him and wants to live his life more freely.

Cautious and impatient, but kind

Crappy homes make crappy people and Marc is the perfect example of this. Born to a "working woman" who managed to get knocked up by one of her Johns Marc wasn't destined for a glamour filled life. His childhood consisted of either him being left alone in his families sh*t stain of a trailer or him being knocked around by his drunkard of a mother. Just like so many others Marc took all that miss treatment and turned it onto others, becoming one of the town's biggest pains in the ass. Bullying, cutting school, theft, vandalism, and all sorts of other petty crimes were all practically daily occurrences for Marc. Hell he is even part of the underground fighting rink that goes on in town. He has probably seen the inside of the sheriff's office more than all of the deputies combined. The only legal thing he seems to be up to is when he is at work at the local auto shop, him having to work their as a form of probation set out by the sheriff.

Personality
Easy to anger, nearly impossible to talk to, and incredibly hard headed. Your typical small town bad boy.

Abilities
Marc has been given the both superhuman strength and durability, now being able to rip apart a car with his bare hands as well as get hit by a semi truck without any real ill affects. Likewise Marc can now generate fire from his body, being able to throw fire balls from his hands or even breath flames from his mouth.

Bio:
As a kid, Nick’s early life was fairly average. His parents both worked at a well paying job, and they both loved him and were there for him. Plus he had a cute younger sister who was 4 years younger than him. However, once Nick turned 11, his father won the lottery. At first everyone was excited, but eventually the money started creating rifts between his family. Nick’s parents eventually got a divorce over the money and have been arguing since then. Nick was forced to take care of his younger sister, and make sure she got everything she needed since their parents were too busy arguing. Nick was very academically well off, however, he chose to stay at a community college rather than go off to a prestigious college. This was so that he could keep an eye on his younger sister.

Personality:
Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate

The Mad Hatter

Abilities:
Nick will randomly switch personalities. He’s not quite sure if anything sets it off quite yet, but his personality goes from normal to insane. He’ll start spouting nonsense, and see things that isn’t actually there. His eyes will change color during this insanity spurt.

Bio: Iris
Iris was born blind, her eyes are always closed due to the fact that they have turned icy and her pupils are almost silver, causing others to tell her that they are unnerving to look at. Always holding her cane she has been able to grow dependent on her own through dance, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, if its a dance she can do it. Her brother being simaller they were known as the miracle twins in a way yet unlike what most would believe they are actually able to separate for periods of time, though they would rather be in each other's company. If you are seen with Iris and Iris alone it means she trusts you greatly.

Siris
Siris was born deaf, being the seeing eye person for his sister she was the one to speak for him when he would use sign language into her palm. Yet even so he was not left behind when he found his sister could dance, he would watch her for hours but even though his world is void of sound he found himself enjoying something that everyone could notice but himself.
Music.
The deaf Siris is now an amazing musician that would play along his sister. Their family being from a rather wealthy background he was given everything he needed to somehow continue his passion, all he would have to do is point at an instrument and it was his. Many times people accused the siblings of being fake, creepy and rather doll like. Yet he was fine with the turn of events they found a way to do everything together even when they are fully grown.
Together they now do shows. Going by names like see no and hear no. Iris branching of in things like horse back riding to expand her abilities while her brother became an amazing artist. Most don't even know about their disabilities but it becomes perfectly clear once you see them when they are not performing. They decided not to go to collage because it was too boring and now have a tutor who's life is hell due to them that leaves on tour with the twins.

Personality: Iris is the social one, with a light voice and calming presence she is found that a few people have been extremely protective over the rather dainty woman, especially if her brother is not around. Yet when it comes to Siris, Iris is beyond protective, giving a world of misery to anyone who would harm her older brother.

Siris is a quit person, enjoying to watch and gain information for or from his sister he is found to be a rather devious little trickster. Protective of his little sister he will turn on anyone that even looks at her wrong.

Spirit: the tweedls

Abilities: The ability to switch bodies and communicate over long distance. This only works between the twins, a twin can't switch bodies with the queen.

Essie

Bio: Essie is, at heart, a street rat. Born to a single mother, she spent her time traversing the borough of Poplar, terrorizing the neighborhood as a ten year old with sticky fingers and a penchant for sweet things tends to do. It all fell down around her when her mother died at the age of 15 and her father decided to become an active part of her life. He owned a line of hotels from Canada to India, putting him in the one percent of the one percent, somewhere Essie had absolutely no place being. However she just changed her game. Instead of conning for a few bucks, she made bigger cons. Starting in boarding school and then onto college her silver tongue got her a lot of things, but occasionally it got her into a bit of trouble, something her newfound father had no trouble getting her out of.
Personality: Essie has a silver tongue and an eye for the expensive, whether monetary or otherwise. She likes to have the upper hand in the situation, whatever the situation may be. She's can be a huge flirt but she can also be the sullen girl who never talks. Depends on the situation.

Spirit: The Cheshire Cat
Abilities: Cat-like reflexes, invisibility, and air walking.

Sorry this took so long, it was hard for me to write her bio and I still don't like it but it'll have to do.
