►In Depth Appearance◄
Alex stands at a regular 5’11”, with an athletic frame, with a somewhat lithe look to it. This is complemented by his broad shoulders, defined abs, and a strong, smooth jawline - the living definition of “chick magnet”, which is definitely reflected in the way he is at school. However, at the camp, something changes about him, that makes every difference. His typical clothing - tight-fitting smart, white formal shirt & tie, with jet-black slacks - is swapped out for more comfortable attire, such as tracksuit bottoms, and his baggy, grey shirt. This is comfortable in more ways than one - it draws people away from all the attractive parts of him, and makes sure that whoever does want to approach him does so because they want to get to know him as a person, and not just because he’s got a six-pack, or his tight muscles. It also means that his schoolmates tend not to recognise him at first glance.

Alex’s life hasn’t exactly been a fairytale, though, luckily, it hasn’t been too much of a tragedy, either. He was born and raised in Canandaigua alongside his older brother, David, until the age of 6, when his family moved to Sacramento. Life was pretty average for him there, with him going to a new school and making good friends, with some of them transferring into the same high school as him. For a while, life seemed alright.
That was, until, one night when he was thirteen.
His brother and him had just come home from school, with his brother having had the more eventful day in class than Alex. Instead of opening up and talking to their parents about it, David decided to vent to his brother, instead. This spawned into a heated argument, with David calling Alex “a waste of space”, “useless” and “a mistake”. These soul-crushing insults continued into the next week, until Alex became sick of it. Friday night, when the two got home from school, David shouting at his brother like usual, Alex turned around to him and threw everything he had at him. Screaming about how he was ashamed to be related to him, and that David “didn’t deserve to live”. His older brother proceeded to punch him in the face, and then storming up to his room, never coming out for the rest of the night.
The following morning, David was gone. His room was empty, save for the biggest items, and his coat and shoes were missing from the hallway. They sent out a report to the police, but, apart from a few jackasses that enjoyed the suffering of a grieving family, David has never been heard of since. Alex feels guilty, and thinks that he was responsible for making his brother run away. He’s never forgiven himself since, but tries to hide his guilt from the rest of the people at camp.
A few months later, when Alex was fourteen, his parents heard about a camp nearby. Alex was getting therapy for the disappearance of his brother, but apart from that, he wasn’t really socialising with anyone. He’d shut out everyone at school, and barely concentrated on his work. Surely it could do him some good to meet some fresh people? So, they sent him to Camp Liberty that summer, and it was a success. When he came home, he seemed like he’d regained a little bit of his old self, and it made a lot of difference, even if it was only a small piece. He wanted to talk to people, told his parents all about his time there, and was begging to go again. He’s been going ever since, and it’s been helping him regain his own self, bit by bit. This year he’s determined to pull his finger out and snatch a win, to put the “Royal Blues” in their place.

They both weight about one-hundred and forty-four pounds of muscle from working out and running along the beach. They both have very athletic bodies and are very muscular in all of the right areas. Nathan has emerald green eyes that shine brightly in the right amount of lighting while Nicholas’ eyes are hazel green but both have almond shaped pupils. Nathan’s skin tone is a bit more tanned than Nicholas’ as his skin takes on an olive tone. They both have dirty blonde hair, in which they both like to keep trimmed and styled to perfection.

Nathan and Nicholas might be more different than most people think they are but in terms of personality – They are very much different. Nathan is a person that does something without thinking about the consequences that comes with his actions. Nicholas on the other hand does, not saying that he is essentially a follower of the rules but he just knows that certain boundaries should not be crossed. Both of the twins have a wide range of intelligence when it comes to certain subjects and topics. If one talks to Nathan about a subject or topic he likes, he’ll add in his two cents here and there then be done with the conversation. But with Nicholas, he’ll fangirl all day about something he is definitely interested in. Nathan isn’t as confident as Nicholas is though Nathan can be a bit confident, if he wasn’t so cocky about every little thing he does. Nicholas is confident and even if he doesn’t come out on top, he’ll find a way to come out on top next time. Nathan will just gloat as if he really did something.
The only negative trait Nicholas hates about himself is his opinionated side. He has opinions about every little subject. Nathan and Nicholas was born on December 21, 1998 in the local Los Angeles hospital. As their mother puts it, it was a warm and clear day when they were birthed. Nathan was born first, obviously then sixteen minutes later, Nicholas came. Nathan and Nicholas got their names from their great, great grandfathers, as there were a set of twins within their lineage as well. Nathan and Nicholas grew up together side by side as if they were stitched together. But as time rolled on, Nathan and Nicholas were having different interests in certain and caused a slight divide amongst the duo. Nathan sort of hated the split while Nicholas broke down about it. Their parents talked them both through it and made them realize that they are one in the same, somewhat. Ever since that talk, Nathan and Nicholas has been two peas in a pod.
As their lives progressed, they’re mother was offered a position at a law firm in the South, Atlanta, Georgia, to be exact. She accepted the position and that caused the family to move from their California lives and dwindle down into the Southern lands of American. Living in Atlanta wasn’t all that bad for Nathan and Nicholas, really. Maybe because they were still a little bit too young to know much of anything about anything. The family resided in Georgia for about nine years then went back to California after their mother had a slight disagreement with one of the cases and went her separate ways with the firm entirely. One can say she is a big fan of the Wicked series, which eventually gained a 2003 musical broadway. She absolutely adored the name and decided to give her daughter it.

Her appearances gives off a flower child aura, which is not too far from the truth. She's free spirited, playful, adventurous, and wants to have fun. If she comes off as 'sexy', that's unintentional due to her naiveté in sexual situations. Full of vibrant expressions and doesn't mind being someone's doll (model), her smile can brighten anyone's day. Her hair is dirty blonde, untamed, and dances with the wind. Occasionally, Nessa lightens her blonde highlights to give her hair a glowing effect under the sun.
Not thinking herself to be amazingly attractive but knowing well enough she isn't ugly, Nessa sports casual wear that can be both comfortable and fashionable. Understanding concepts like death when she was far younger than most kids, who still didn't figure out that Santa Claus was a lie, Nessa believed, and still believes, she was a freak of nature. How else would you explain her father leaving her mother and her when she was only three? It was all her fault that Edison Kipling didn't want to love her mother, Freya, anymore. The young child scared her father away. She made him leave.

After her father left, Nessa and her mother flew to America to get far, far, far away from England where there was too much hurt and pain. Her mother had no one but her daughter, having lost all her loved ones a long time ago. The young girl knew she needed to be strong for her mother even if her mind told her she could never be good enough. If only Nessa's experiences in America was better than her short time in England. Her mother chose to move to New York, since that was where the world of Broadway flourished.
Attending school in a city where most people had a stick up their ass, Nessa was bullied by the majority of the girls in her class, constantly. Even her mother was being bullied by judgmental women because she was a maid for a living. Rather than backing down, Nessa scared people away by being strange. No one likes something they can't understand, right? If she was a freak, why not let her inner madness thrive?
Within time, her mother found a sweet, aspiring Broadway actor, James Stanley. They haven't married yet, but he's done wonders for the family. The blossoming girl also discovered that even the meanest of people had kindness, having stumbled upon one of her bullies crying in the school bathroom with bruises all over her body. She comforted her tormentors and... things settled down. Admiring her basically step dad, Nessa wanted to follow his footsteps and pursue a career in Broadway. Nessa was scared and told him she wasn't ready and... his expression turned incredibly sad. Heart-wrenching to see that because she truly cared for this guy, she didn't want him to hate her for saying no. He was preparing to leave but she decided to cave in. He loved her, yes? So why not go all the way? Well, long story short, once she gave him everything, he vanished out of her life the next day. Leaving her behind like her father did.

Nessa likes what she likes, she'll say what she wants to say, even if her two cents do not matter to most people. To be strong is hard when everything around you is dark. She smiles and gives a little twirl, she'll compliment, and giggle, but her mind is full of complex thoughts that drive her insane. Nightmares are a common occurrence and though she doesn't jolt in her sleep, there have been nights when she wakes up and finds herself crying.
Dark nature is interesting, she loves to read books on the topic. To learn and take in. Her curiosity for the world will never die. Refusing to prevent herself on reading a good book, she will enlighten herself on any topic, may it be light as a feather or as heavy as an anvil. Lost in a trance and constantly daydreaming fantasies, her attention can turn away from the people she's talking to, drowning out their words, and enter the cold chambers of her mind. Although she comes off as bubbly, energetic, and extremely loving, there is so much more to her than what lays on the surface. A smile can hide so much.
A whimsical fairy that breathes in the world around her, including the toxin and the gloom. As if she's carrying the whole world on her shoulders, she will feel your pain when no one is there to share it with you. ►Background◄Seeing the worlds' colors, and absent of color, can take a toll on a child. Understanding concepts like death when she was far younger than most kids, who still didn't figure out that Santa Claus was a lie, Nessa believed, and still believes, she was a freak of nature. How else would you explain her father leaving her mother and her when she was only three? It was all her fault that Edison Kipling didn't want to love her mother, Freya, anymore. The young child scared her father away. She made him leave.
Books are a wonderful thing, you see. They teach a child about the world while letting them live through experiences without having to actually undergo such things. Her mother was the brightest flower in the world, whose optimism, threw many people off.
After her father left, Nessa and her mother flew to America to get far, far, far away from England where there was too much hurt and pain. Her mother had no one but her daughter, having lost all her loved ones a long time ago. The young girl knew she needed to be strong for her mother even if her mind told her she could never be good enough. If only Nessa's experiences in America was better than her short time in England. Her mother chose to move to New York, since that was where the world of Broadway flourished.
Attending school in a city where most people had a stick up their ass, Nessa was bullied by the majority of the girls in her class, constantly. Even her mother was being bullied by judgmental women because she was a maid for a living. Rather than backing down, Nessa scared people away by being strange. No one likes something they can't understand, right? If she was a freak, why not let her inner madness thrive?
Within time, her mother found a sweet, aspiring Broadway actor, James Stanley. They haven't married yet, but he's done wonders for the family. The blossoming girl also discovered that even the meanest of people had kindness, having stumbled upon one of her bullies crying in the school bathroom with bruises all over her body. She comforted her tormentors and... things settled down. Admiring her basically step dad, Nessa wanted to follow his footsteps and pursue a career in Broadway. She decided to spend a lot of her childhood studying, reading, practicing, and performing. Though as she grew up, she realized she liked writing far more than being in the limelight. The person who created the wonderful shows. There was plenty of time for her to hone her skills as a writer, since she's only 16.
When she was 14, she fell hard for a boy named Anthony. He wasn't a complete douchebag to her when they first met. They became close and he asked her on a date. Her heart jumped with excitement. But... that night turned into something she wasn't prepared for. Uncomfortable and in his car, he wanted to go all the way. Nessa was scared and told him she wasn't ready and... his expression turned incredibly sad. Heart-wrenching to see that because she truly cared for this guy, she didn't want him to hate her for saying no. He was preparing to leave but she decided to cave in. He loved her, yes? So why not go all the way? Well, long story short, once she gave him everything, he vanished out of her life the next day. Leaving her behind like her father did.
A freak.
Her mother saw a change in her daughter and decided to send her off to this popular camp in Los Angeles. Nessa was nearing her 15 birthday, so this would be her parents' gift to their daughter. It was good that James had family in the area too. A change was good for Nessarose. Being around new people, though still terrified of going through the pains of her past, she found some comfort at Camp Liberty. She liked it so much, she decided to go again the next year.

►Nickname◄Nessa, Ness, KipNessa started off as a nickname for Vanessa. Freya Kipling discovered the combination "Nessarose" through the L. Frank Baum's 1900 book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The character also appeared in the 1995 book titled Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Maguire. One can say she is a big fan of the Wicked series, which eventually gained a 2003 musical broadway. She absolutely adored the name and decided to give her daughter it.
Nessa is open minded, she doesn't really care what people call her but nicknames that have been used in the past are the ones listed above.

►In Depth Appearance◄At 5'5", weighing 110 pounds, Nessa is a eccentric, British girl. Her bra size is 32B, though her boobs might still be developing (who knows). She has warm, brown eyes, and her skin is unscathed. Her appearances gives off a flower child aura, which is not too far from the truth. She's free spirited, playful, adventurous, and wants to have fun. If she comes off as 'sexy', that's unintentional due to her naiveté in sexual situations. Full of vibrant expressions and doesn't mind being someone's doll (model), her smile can brighten anyone's day. Her hair is dirty blonde, untamed, and dances with the wind. Occasionally, Nessa lightens her blonde highlights to give her hair a glowing effect under the sun.
Not thinking herself to be amazingly attractive but knowing well enough she isn't ugly, Nessa sports casual wear that can be both comfortable and fashionable.
