I.. May have backpedaled on my original idea to work out a different one. One that, in my defense, will likely be much more fun to play. :p

At no point do I intended upon wielding anything more than the Eviscerator, aside from the classic bolter as a back up, which will not be used whilst the blade is in use. I question how priests and unarmored sister Repentia can wield the Eviscerator just fine, but a sister in full armor, armor which provides enough additional strength to carry heavy bolters by oneself, cannot use one. Especially a Sister belonging to a suborder that specializes in spearheading close range assaults.

If you insist upon it, I guess I could make a Retributor. I just don't see the point in being pedantic over who can touch the Eviscerator, considering it's an option even in the actual boardgames for certain Sororitas to wield, despite not being Repentias.

I'm well aware of their roles. Repentia would make for a boring character to play. I'm sure the combination of of Power Armor and actual bionic limbs is more than enough to make wielding an Eviscerator viable. Nobody said anything about using one hand.

Seraphims combine CQC and ranged pretty well, though. :p

Nothing in the lore says they're reserved. Just, Repentias use them and only them. They're quite popular with the priests attached to guard regiments too.

@Asura I'm sure you could convince some Tech-priests to create a weapon along those lines for her as a post-mission reward. Or, just get a chainfist built to human scale; that already has both a chainsword and a power field attached to it, and I believe it comes with a storm bolter attached to the wrist too. Maximised Melee Murder Mode, Activate.

My original plan was to have her getting Abbadon'd in her early days (read; lost her arms) only to have them replaced by bionic limbs because Sororitas rarely know when to quit. To capitalize on the advantages of those metal limbs, I was gonna have her swing around an Eviscerator like some kind of Techno-Nun Barbarian.

Nothing quite says "vanguard" like chopping into a tank with as fuck off huge chain sword.

@Asura Hey, if you want to make a Chainsword Maniac Dominion, I say go for it. Just bear in mind, Dominions also tend to bear specialised guns as well, and presumably use them when a chainsword won't cut it. And a storm bolter-toting ally is pretty neat, if I do say so myself.

I've been mowing over a Dominion who goes balls to the wall with a chainsword. That said, perhaps somebody with a longer range is preferred.
