Everyone, please let me know if your character has any publicity, or if they haven't appeared on the news yet. That way, I can depict people's ability to recognize your characters correctly.

Erin and Robert's multiple high profile fights in downtown Angel City definitely drew a lot of attention their way. the repercussions of their fights were more felt in the low- to mid-wealth areas of Angel City, as both Erin and Robert have had more lasting impacts on both areas. since then, Erin has put more effort into helping out those in need and fighting crime and whatnot, but her occasional mishap with thievery or being a little too brutal with the criminals she catches has given her a bit of a skewed reputation - as I mentioned in her CS, an "angel with some really rough edges." public opinion of Vigil reflects that grey-area perception of her, in that most of the low- to mid-wealth areas know they can almost always depend on her for help but the high-wealth areas of Angel City are pretty stuck on the fact that she stole a sandwich for lunch the other day.

Robert is pretty generally regarded as a piece of shit. just about all of Angel City remembers the multiple times an angry shirtless dude went around the city breaking things and shouting things about how he's "the Wrecker" and he's going to "bury this town in its own filth." so naturally, nobody really likes him very much. interestingly enough, people tend to forget that Erin is always the one going after him - probably because of that sandwich I mentioned.
sorry I haven't posted in a couple days, things have been busy for me. I'll work on a post here ASAP!
Appearance:

Name: Samantha Aviram
Call sign: Seraphim
ID TAG: 220677
Gender: Female

Psychological Record: Sam is first and foremost an optimist. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to bring her down, as she is constantly looking for a way to keep her head up. She’s rarely seen without a smile on her face, and her knack for jokes often keeps those around her in good spirits as well.

But it is her motivation and ambition that keeps her going behind her optimistic outlook. She strives to be better each day that she wakes up, and is immensely proud of her standing in life. Consequently, her mental fortitude is remarkable, making Sam an almost unbreakable figure mentally and emotionally. However, this tends to blur the lines of respect and command for Sam, as she can sometimes believe that her way of doing something is better than how she’s told to do it.

The First Ten Years: For the most part, Sam was pretty much on par with the majority of Alpha. However, it was her knack for computer sciences and martial arts that caused her to stand out. On the tech side, Sam displayed a natural affinity for all things computer, be it software or hardware. On the martial arts side, she was often the first to master the physical and combative demands, though the disciplinary demands of martial arts were sometimes lost to her. She adopted the optimism and ambition of many martial arts, but failed to wrap her head completely around order and discipline. As such, Sam often had to be set straight, as her confidence got the best of her and brought her out of line. This led directly into Sam falling behind in combat tactics and in operating within a team strategically.

Cybernetic Augmentations: Sam’s most important augmentation is the neural implant placed in her head that basically makes her a walking computer access terminal. The neural work is extensive, and works in tandem with the robotic left eye she’s been given in order to maximize effectiveness. When Sam “plugs into” a computer, a display pops up in her left eye, organizing any files or programs within, and allows her thoughts to translate directly into the computer. She can plug into two different computers or devices at a time, allowing her to transfer files or facilitate the employment of a virus or any other kind of software into a computer, all through the use of her eye. In order to plug in, the neural implant includes a port in the back of Sam’s head. It is considered a vulnerability, but due to the nature of the GRAM Assault Armor and the Daedelus Initiative, if anyone besides Sam can access the port, Sam’s probably dead anyways.
When she isn’t plugged in, Sam’s eye allows a HUD to be displayed over her standard vision, removing the need of any kind of visor-implemented HUD. However, the eye does nothing to enhance vision any more than the genetic augments allowed, as further ocular enhancement would overtask the cybernetics in her head and likely melt her brain. Fun stuff.

Combat Role: CQC + Cyber Warfare
To clarify, Sam’s cyber warfare role is much more hands on, focused on local disruption of any enemy tech when ranged access fails. Combined with her close quarters expertise, Sam excels at manually accessing enemy tech and taking control of it or disrupting it in any way possible.

Loadout:

Sam also carries a BS-MKV and two Hawke MK III’s. Her non-combat equipment includes a variety of tech, including devices that give her neural implant access to any kind of computer or tech, various EMP devices, and other gear.
Well I re-read that and decided on religious fanatic/terrorist

provided they're still mentally stable enough to pilot a cog and operate within the military environment, I'd say you should be fine with that.

again, I wouldn't go ahead with anything without @Stern Algorithm's blessing.

Augmentations are only limited to their usefulness in their role if it makes sense for what they do sure. Mind you they already are genetically engineered to have eye sight better than any other human in the galaxy beyond 20/20 perfect. But if you wanted to be able to have like switch to thermal vision or some kind of target suite built into your eye which sounds kind of cool now that I think of it sure.

excellent. thanks for the help! should have a CS and sample post coming to you soon.
are there any limitations on cybernetic augs? for example... what about a robotic eye? :OOO
Hey if I wanted to make a quantum bounty hunter/borderline terrorist would that be acceptable?

it'll ultimately be up to our friendly neighborhood GM's discretion about the borderline terrorist bit, but @Tricheus' character is a Quantum bounty hunter.
Corina frowned. She didn't exactly like the lack of rules, but fortunately Pharazon didn't seem to either. They had done their best, but Corina could hear the restraint in their words. What they had said made sense, and Corina understood why there was a lack of restraint with the cogs, but at the end of the day she was a soldier, and soldiers liked orders. Short of orders, soldiers liked chemistry among their team in order for a proper dynamic to work itself out, but this lance had yet to develop chemistry. Their interaction since meeting had been limited, though Corina had to place some of that blame on herself. She wasn't exactly the most social of people and had isolated herself for much of the trip.

Corina could only offer a terse, "Understood, sir," before heading towards her cog to prepare. Climbing into the cockpit, Corina immediately understood what Pharazon meant by "feeling right." The interior was simple, organized, and disciplined. Everything was in a matte grey finish, matching the greyscale digital pattern that covered the cog. Corina smirked. This was definitely working for her.

As Phalanx was launched out into the bubble, Corina felt Farfalla being moved for launch. Shit. Shit shit shit shit shitshitshitshitshit, Corina began to panic slightly as the launch quickly became a reality. She was a foot soldier - any type of vehicular warfare was alien to her. That said, she found that she wasn't as nervous as she expected; the comfort and odd familiarity of Farfalla's cockpit was calming.

"Lieutenant Chun, piloting cog Farfalla. Let it be recorded that on this day, you've got a career foot soldier flying around in space," Corina announced nervously, feeling the acceleration of the launch shoot her out into the bubble. Corina braked with no problem, decelerating at a steady, even rate with the depression of the lower left pedal. She quickly asserted herself with Farfalla's movement controls: lower left was stop, lower right was go, upper left was strafe left, upper right was strafe right. Whatever direction she pulled the arm controls in, Farfalla moved to look. She could trigger a powerful burst of speed in any direction by pulling one of the many triggers on either side in combination with a directional control, though it was incredibly taxing on her physically. Corina would have to figure out a way to exercise in order to make the sudden directional changes easier.
interested as hell.
well, that fun little scenario I've just set up should give the heroes something to do after some supercriminal ass is kicked...
